Love this place! We had so much fun. I had never played pinball b4. Loved it. Fries and drinks were good too.
Want a tip on how to increase your gaming skills? I grew up in bowling alleys, shooting pool and playing #pinball! The only other games around back then was electronic shooters and later air hockey, then foosball! This was before PONG mind you! The king of these games was (and still is) pinball baby! You see, video game controllers evolved from pinball flipper buttons! If you want to increase your hand (button) to eye coordination, NOTHING compares to good, old fashioned pinball!!! My secret to consistently
Great spot to play pinball and have a beer and Nachos. Very clean with a huge variety of machines. Sure to give old school pinball players some flashbacks to their teenage years, My 16 year old loves it there. Take your kids there and show them what a pinball machine looks like.
When it first opened, my youngest and I were coming here at least once every couple of weeks. It had such a great selection of both pinball and old school arcade games. The food is fine; mostly what seems like microwaved food or popped into the oven. Whatever, food isn't the main attraction. They have a bar which is fantastic. They have one tv. That's fine, not the point to come here. Yesterday, my daughter and I went and it appears as though they took out numerous arcade games including TAPPER. There is n
One of my favorite pinball spots in the area. Awesome lowkey spot with mostly older pinball machines (80s to 2000s primarily, with a few modern ones mixed in). They consistently switch up the machines and add new ones which I love. They serve drinks and food, and they are open late which is a huge bonus. My only suggestion would be that I would like to see more recent machines added (dnd, Jurassic park, and Godzilla would be my top picks)
We had a lot of fun at the Arcade. The staff was very kind and helpful. There were two walls of Pinball machines and a few non-pinball games as well. They also had a full menu and you can drink while you play. Definitely a good time. FYI: Most pinball games are .75 each. There are a few that cost less.
My family and I love coming here, we got to see The Select play once and it was awesome, it's a great place with lots of selections of pinball games and some other games we can play too!
Nice local pinball place with a decent number of classics and popular 90s machines (some video games too). It's real pinball, so expect some of the machines to be broken and some not working very well (weak flippers, balance issues, etc.). Every time I've gone, several machines eat my tokens without giving credit. The staff happily gave me credit the first time, but I got tired of asking after it kept happening.
Been here several times now, attentive staff and beer on tap. They have some classic machines that my dad and I keep coming back for. If you like pinball it's a great little spot.
Nice to have arcade so close. Would give e 5 stars but they recently removed a few arcade games and replaced them with tables. Iam guessing they want to try and sell more food? Our bad luck they were are 2 favorite games they had.
Cute little place with a lot of classic pinball machines and some newer as well. It's cash for tokens here which is nice - games take from 2-4 tokens per play (I think the top is 4. I could be wrong on that). Went with 2 other family members and stayed for just a short while. For $5 total, we each had some fun reliving the good ol? pinball days!! Oh - they do serve food and beer too. The people there explained everything to us as we were first timers. Nice, clean place.
Wonderful place with a few dozen ( I would estimate 40-60) pinball games ranging from today all the way to probably the 60?s. There is a little retro arcade with some classics (I love Dig Dug and a real Tapper machine!). Super super friendly people. Love this place.
Amazing and awesome pinball (mostly pinball) arcade! Lots of vintage pinball machines, including a few personal favorites of mine that I've not seen around the Portland area in many years. The tables are in top condition - a clear indication that the staff/ownership is dedicated to high quality and a great experience. It's easily worth a trip out from Portland, or if you're local to the area!
I've been twice already and plan to be a regular. They have a lot of tables for such a small space but it doesn't feel overcrowded. There's a great variety of new and old games. The bottles & cans are cheap and the staff are super nice! My only complaint would be that it gets really hot in there, so I'm hoping there's air conditioning at some point b/c it's only May and I already had to leave earlier than I wanted to both times I visited b/c of the heat. Otherwise this place is such a gem for all ages and I
I love the Portland pinball scene. We are truly spoiled. Today I checked out Special When Lit. They have a great selection of games. Unfortunately, most of the games I played were not working well. The sauce on the Flash machine wasn't working. The top flipper on Flash Gordon was getting stuck in the up position. Three games ate my tokens. They really need a good way to report problems to their technician (a text # to report issues would be great). I talked to the guy at the counter a few times to get token
The neighborhood pinball joint I've always wanted. Little place with a real chill atmosphere and real friendly staff. Get off work, cruise down, grab a beer and some tokens, and play pinball. Couldn't ask for better.
This place is amazing! Full of all kinds of vintage and new pinball machines, and a bunch of the classic arcade games as well. Fair selection of pub food, good selection of drinks, and comfortable atmosphere with a jukebox as well! Definitely check this place out when you can!
Huge pinball selection that includes a lot of best-of titles. Big menu. Clean, nice place, not too noisy. Felt like good value for our 2 hours of play.
Great little arcade bar with some classic token-play pinball, great drink specials and simple eats.
Impressive lineup of 44 pinball machines ranging from 1970 to 2014. Also some classic video games and a bar area with basic food offerings. Friendly and helpful staff.
If you like Pinball, this is the place Great machines, good beer ??
What a great arcade and addition to the SW PDX area! so glad you are finally open! Such a fun mix of games and is affordable too. Attentive staff and cold beer!
Well worth a visit, took my son here Saturday afternoon, a lot of variety and choice of both pinball and retro arcade video games. Everything worked while we were there and the place is spotless & clean.
Went here with a friend to play some retro pinball a while back. Plenty lf options and they have friendly staff.
This pinball place is my husband and I happy place, we love it, good vibes
This place is a liminal space, a weird nostalgic and curiously familiar time capsule. Embrace the simplicity of this place. I left all my technology at home and felt like I was in a time capsule when I entered and left. Now there's finally a reason to be in king city
Looks like an excellent place! There are lots of pinball machines inside. Can't wait for it to open!
Cool retro pinball place in a generic strip mall - definitely worth checking out if you have time to kill.
Fun and nostalgic throwback space. There's something viscerally pleasing about that sound when you score a match or replay. Love it!!
Amazing pinball selection, great staff, fun arcade games! Only missing a fighting game!
It was awesome!!! Congrats, Uncle Dave and Aaron!!!
Good variety of pinball and classic arcade games
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
