Some friends and I from my child?s elementary school visited sprouts over this past weekend. The price is fair and the food is too just be sure to ask for your egg rolls not extra crispy giggle giggle the Rental experience was a breeze. Just simply show your wristband. Tell them your size and zoom you're off. I would recommend this for school events, birthday parties, andafter hours a great date night.

We went on a Saturday and of course it was busy with birthday parties, as expected. The cost was a little shocking. It was over $100 for 2 adults (just supervising, not skating) and 4 kids, one child being a toddler so also not skating. The Dj was really fun and the cost of concession prices were reasonable. There were A LOT of kids there and some of them were not being supervised well enough. We were watching our kids in the playground and they were allowing much larger kids in to play even though there wa

Staff member is making the experience unbearable for kids skating because they're recording some other kids synchronized skating and whistling constantly so people get out of the way of their little video. They did this multiple times. It made a first-timer experience unpleasant, and all of our first times here leave a bad taste. Will not be back. Not to mention the inefficiency at the entry and getting ticket orders incorrect, forcing a refund.

We had a fantastic time celebrating my daughter?s 5th birthday at Sparkles in Smyrna! Although there was a bit of a hiccup with our promised 10:45 start time?our entry was slightly delayed until after 11am?our party attendants, Nicole and Kayla, turned the experience around with their exceptional service. They ensured we didn't have to lift a finger! Nicole, in particular, was amazing: personable, kind, efficient, attentive, and proactive, ensuring everyone had what they needed. I was thrilled to see Kayla

My staff and I arrived at Sparkles skating in Smyrna, GA with 7 kids. Most of the kids do not know how to skate. Less than an hour, most kids wanted to play in the playground area. However, one out of seven kids were a centimeter tall. Lindsey, the general manager stated she's not allow to play. It was only maybe 2 kids in the play area and our 6 kids. The rules should not be to exclude a 7 years old kid just because she is a centimeter taller than the 7 years old kid. Put yourself in the kids position! Thi

My initial experience for my daughter?s birthday party this past weekend was not as expected; however, after speaking with the Assistant Manager, Tanya, she was able to verify my claims and made things right. I appreciate the customer service more than anything and have reconsidered hosting a party at this location again. My daughter loves the regular skate sessions so we will definitely return for some summer fun! The staff regularly monitor the floor to ensure safety is a top priority for all. I love tha

We had a very disappointing experience at Sparkles of Smyrna during what was supposed to be a celebratory birthday party. After driving nearly an hour through a severe thunderstorm warning to attend a birthday party scheduled from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a young girl turning 11, we arrived around 6:00 PM, only to find confusion, frustration, and a lack of professionalism at the door. Due to the storm, we understand that their system was down. However, what followed was poorly handled. Despite waivers being

My daughter had her 8th birthday party at Sparkles on the Cosmic Party Porch. The kids had a blast! They loved skating and playing in the play center. She didn't get her ?special birthday gift? the rink said was included in our package. Nor did any of the kids get glow necklaces, which were also supposed to be included. It's very expensive to host a party there and my biggest complaint would be they only let you in the party room 15 minutes before the party. That's not really long enough to decorate and set

We really enjoy the family sessions on Saturday, because it's a good time to practice without the floor being extremely crowded. The earlier you get there the better. The music is hit or miss that's why I gave 4 stars.

My niece had a birthday party and Tonya the manager, had the WORST attitude ever! She made checking in and setting up the party unnecessarily confusing and belittling. If you look at the rest of the reviews you can clearly see that most of the staff have a terrible problem with their attitudes. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

This was my first time visiting here. An enjoyable time was had, the floor attendants are amazing they truly are there to help each & every child on the floor that is skating as if it is their family member. The place is clean all around, after a certain time APD is on site. I don't like the fact that if you use a card for ANYTHING THERE you basically have to pay to use your card. The food court definitely needs help, it was all younger adults that need guidance & help on how to run a kitchen. I think they

Never realized this place was back there. Went for a party and kids enjoyed it. I think they like the play area more than the actual skating. They had a small arcade area which the kids love. The play area is a hit for my kid (he's younger). It's great he could run around in there. A good family place.

NO STARS!! This rink is too expensive! I paid $43 for me and my 2 daughters and my kids had their own skates. They even charged an additional price for my kids to play on the indoor playground. I never thought id spend $50+ at the skating rink just to get in. This isn't the club! Customer service was horrible as well the cashier had a nasty attitude and was very short and dry. Like keep that energy at home. You work at a family center. We also ordered fries and were given small pieces out the bottom of the

Absolutely appalling experience at Sparkles Skating Rink! I had to wait in line for over an hour with a 2-year-old and 3-year-old just to get inside. The whole place seemed completely disorganized, and we were given no heads up about the long wait time. Once we finally made it in, I was told they weren't serving food or taking anymore food orders because they were "backed up." I then had bought a pizza from a local shop to feed my hungry kids, and the manager had the audacity to tell me that I couldn't hav

listen, whomever is the kitchen manager yall need a better system! these kids don't go in order by the tickets at all. it takes forever in a day to get your food and they often even forget about you. It would just be smart to go in order. please get some structure.

My friend and I have been here four times, and we probably won't be back. It's family-friendly, but if you're a skater who likes to do tricks, it can be difficult with so many kids around. The rink and skates are nice, but the staff is rude, and service at the concession is slow. The wait to get in is long due to waivers, and they really need an extra register. Also, when my friend asked to borrow their tool to tighten a wheel, they said no and insisted she buy one. Lastly, the music is hit or miss?either

Very fun! I have been here a lot with family and friends over the years. They rent out skates, have a kid playground, and have lots of seating. Would recommend!

Nice place. Good music and nicely decorated. Service wasn't very great. And with the prices so high you'd think there could at least be paper towels or a way to dry your hands in the bathroom. $8 admission for a toddler that's just learned to walk?? And mandatory activity fee for non skating children?? Ridiculous... We won't be back.

The owner needs to do better by the summer camp kids that attend during the summer and large groups. Please stop scheduling 400 kids at one time for these camps ??

I gave 2 stars. The lockers cost $5 and wouldn't open. After waiting a hour for the manager to open the locker, it wouldn't open to get my stuff out. Not to mention the lockers are digital with a passcode. But still wouldn't open. Ruined the whole night.

Super clean, friendly, and fun! Decent prices. Awesome obstacle course for kids and game room. Great graffiti on the wall, beautiful skyline of ATL. A few different party and event areas.

I have been going since the 1990?s i haven't been to this Location in about 10 yrs now? the DJ was not playing music I know! Very old music a few songs I knew but nothing that I could really say, ?that's my jam too!? Great vibe, great rink terrible music! No skate music! The DJ was in his OWN ZONE! Please make the music more Vera! Played some Luther and music by my artist you recognize the voice but not the song! SMH

Over Crowded, and Over priced. Beware: Groupons are invalided after 3pm, so have patience waiting in long lines to pay for entry. Also, parents and non-skating fees is $5.00. Parents the restroom are slippery and DIRTY(NO PAPER-TOWELS), so beware for your children.

Some sk8 nights are better than others. Just be mindful that the lockers are $5.

Sparkles was a good time, very nostalgic. The food was decent, and I was intrigued by the adult beverage menu! I would return again. My only gripe is the ppl in customer service. They need more training on how to answer questions or give information without it seeming like a hassle to them... while they are at work... also, greeting paying customers would be a start.

Great atmosphere overall kids had fun skating did not like the designated skating area for the kids they were not able to skate freely. Did not like the fact that the majority of the Game Machines took money and Associates were not willing to fix the problem or return the money or shall I say tokens. Did not like the fact that I paid for the jungle gym when other kids were entering so freely when I ask the manager about the issue she told me she would be over shortly and never came instead she was talking t

The lines are long, the workers have bad attitudes, it's not clean how I remember when I use to come with my oldest. They have a new rule where you have to sign a waiver and even if you don't skate you still have to sign it. It's only two kiosk to do it on. You have the option to scan it , you DONT know it until you get to the window. My family walked out after waiting 41 mins in a long long and we got there soon as they open. I will not be back and won't recommend anyone go anymore. This use to be my fa

My family and I enjoyed this place. Visiting from out of town. Felt safe, the music was good and staff were friendly.

Man these folks charge for everything you can't even sit in there for free hell you can't even use your debit card they charge damn near $10 dollars on top of your purchase that's a Damn shame they taxes are way high even when you use cash but not as high as credit card if I have extra money I might come back but I think not cause you can't bring in your own skates holder you have to get theirs and that's not cool at all so my best beat is to just stay away from this skating rink. Not making that choice for

Services is terrible. 20 minutes to order a slushie. Advertising prices are lower than actual and they didn't honor their error. Expect to pay to just sit and watch.

Great atmosphere, clean, nice lighting ( no dizzy lights) nice staff, music is the best

Attended a birthday party here on a Saturday. Great place to have a party we had a blast. The music was perfect, they had a DJ and the kids played.

The service here is AWFUL!! Which is really sad because the facility is really fun for kids and adults. However, the staff is terrible. The front check-in person had the worst attitude and was not helpful at all. The website prices are different from the prices quoted at the door. The refreshment prices are outlandish!!! $5 Slushies!!! I gave it 3 stars because me and my family really enjoyed skating. But otherwise, the experience was awful. It definitely puts a somber cloud on what could be a nice family o

Tonight was my first time here.I was looking for a new skating rink to frequent for the exercise. It was so loud that I had to leave with a headache and ear pain in less than 5 minutes, which has never happened to me at any skating rink ever, and I've been to many, including as a regular over the past 20 years. I asked the staff if they could turn the volume down by at least 15%, and I was told that there are only 3 volume settings (Low, medium, or maximum), and that it would therefore be impossible to turn

I love this rink! Everyone is so nice, and the floor guard Cece is absolutely amazing. It is always a great day when I get to skate.

OK place to skate. Wish staff were friendlier toward all customers

In the parking lot right now - horrible customer service. Admittedly, it is Super Bowl day but they chose to close their registers down an hour early when they close at midnight and instead of letting in their loyal customers? the rep and manager stated: ?if you don't have cash - we're not letting you in? ?we've been slow all night and you're coming to the business with 40 minutes remaining? Very shocked to be honest - just thought the community should know. Thanks!

I truly appreciate the adult session! I've gone to other rinks that claim to have adult skating, but ive found myself skating with a much younger crowd that was too immature. Grownup music is why I love this skating rink!?? I'm an adult who works with kids on a continual basis, so when I go skating...I can get my adult groove on! Their adult session takes place on Tuesdays. 7 to 11. Come for skate lessons at 6! I'll see you there! ROCK STAR???????????

Make sure you sign the waiver Before you get to the door as it may hold you up, which expires at the end of one year?fyi

DJ was absolutely atrocious tonight. Played everything she wanted to hear. If I wanted to hear Beyonce, I would have went to Hiram. She should DJ through the week, not on the weekends. People literally taking their skyea off.

Im visiting from out of town thinking i was bout get some culture, first let me say something positive the floor was slick and smooth like melted butter but i came on Sunday night 7-12 expecting to hear some 80?-90? RnB and some down south master p.. the keep playing fast tempo music i almost caught charles horse SLOW IT DOWN DJ!!! Too many ppl in the flo?????? to end it on a good note they got free water

This is a hidden gem in the Smyrna Area. The price wasn't too pricey (Roughly $16-$18 per skater). Theres a large selection of skates to choose from. There are the traditional 4 wheels or Rollerblades. The food is the typical bowling alley type meal that you would expect. I really had a great time. I cant wait to go back

Came for a birthday party and they said they forgot about our party, that they double or triple booked today. They eventually figured it out but we had to wait like an hour.

The food was nice (cheese fries and LP wings). Manager was really nice and handled the business well. I only took off a star bc lots of game machines are broken and eat your credits. My daughter and I had it happen on at least 4 games.

Sparkles is like a throwback to the 90s. The carpet and wall decorations are bright and colorful, with the neon colors you would expect from a skating place. The actual skating space is smooth hardwood and large enough to have fun. You can go pretty fast before having to turn but there are also ?lanes? so people can go slower. There are lockers for your stuff (50 cents) and an in-door playground for the kids. This is a good place to hangout for a large group, specially for families.

We hosted our kids? birthday parties here and couldn't have had a better experience!!! The ladies were timely, efficient, generous, patient, and the place was super clean! Shanique (sorry if I misspelled!) and Shay we're phenomenal at making things flow smoothly for all our little (mostly) first time skaters. Worth every penny ??????????

Great for the family. Saturdays and Sundays can get crowded but it's still manageable. Good for new learners too. They have skate helpers you can rent for $10. And there is a limited bar.

This is my go to for family fun. Most Fridays there is an early skate program which is perfect for thise early release school days. This year we had my daughters BDay Party there.

I just found my new obsession. Sunday nights-- this is the place to be!!

DJ KBoogie did he's thing! Digging in the crates Tuesday night adult night

Attended a spirit night for my kids school and Lindsay was very rude as I walked into the door where my two small children greeted me. She made a very big deal about me standing on the opposite side of the door vs behind the door to pay $5, I mean literally $5 and complete the waiver (that I was actaully doing while she was running her damn mouth). I will say you never know who you're standing in front of and life always comes full circle. To get on here and see that the same rudness has been reported by ot

It's back open. Yeahhh! Took the kids on a Saturday 2 weeks ago during the 1-5pm slot when I figured they'd have the leastttttt amount of people, would be there. Im.an avid and longtime skater, so I got to help my middle kid ( the senior)teaching her to backward skate and cross over on her turns. It was good to get out the house and work on these thighs. Lol lol

Brought the boys for some skating during the break. $40 with a Groupon to get in. The is maybe 20 cars in parking lot. Ordered some food at 1:08, $32 dollars. Did not get till 2:03!! The staff working all had to be teenagers, talking amongst themselves. I went to front desk to speak with an adult and asked if someone could go assist them. The response was someone should be there. Than still nothing. After waiting almost an hour for a personal pizza, wings and cheeseburger (that came with no cheese) son aske

New Review: July 4th Hey! I brought a family a 6 skating and upon entry at about 1:45, Lindsey said no one was there and the owner authorized the rink to be shut down. The young ladies in the pictures were cleaning and literally putting families out of the rink 2 hours before closing! She said the rink number was the corporate office number. She said no one else was mad so what was my problem. People were being called early to pick up children who did not have an immediate ride. Little kids celebrating part

Enjoyed my night with family and were very pleased. The way the manager that was at the food session conducted herself in a manner where a woman very disrespected her i command her. Because I don't think I would have took it that easy....????

This place is always packed and fun. Lot of talent, respect, and unity in the place. They even have a moment of prayer, which is cool. I really like it. Have fun and a great workout everytime!

The kids had fun of course. I kinda like this location better that the Hiram sparkles. The staff was cool and collective.

I love Sparkles Smyrna. Whether I'm going during peak times or going early when it's not busy, so I can have space to practice, it's always a good time. I've noticed the bathrooms, at times, could be cleaner, and admission can be a bit pricey, particularly for Saturdays, but otherwise we love visiting.

Went here for a birthday and finding an actual adult amongst a sea of teen workers who'd rather converse than to their job was almost impossible. The party host was not very responsive and simple things had to be requested. (I.e. tongs for serving 5+ kids and napkins) The most helpful person was a young lady named Georgia who was half running the door and half running the bar. I hope no more events I have to attend are here.

My daughter loves to play at the I door playground. The music is always good. They could do a better job with the concession stand, it takes a long time to get food or drinks, but the food is good. We've gone 3-4 times and will definitely return!

Ok so i scheduled my 5 year old a party today Lindsay who claims she runs all sparkles was rude from the time i came in the door customers where even coming up to me telling me don't feel like that she was rude to us too. So I asked where do i sit didn't wanna show me also i paused for an arrival time of 3:30 im there no table is set up nothing is in order .. she proceed to act out and be rude in front of customer so I did just that with her cause what I'm not gone do is pay you my money and you talking cra

This is the most money hungry place. $10 for a non-parent to skate. What the heck yall charging me to sit ?? Stupid. Then $5 for the skate trainer. Stupid. And then $6 for the jungle gym. Last time I checked, Hiram didn't do this. Avoid !!

Nice skating rink. The skating floor is a good floor, smooth and they keep it pretty clean. It's a happy place; many families come with their little babies and kids to skate. Depending on the DJ and such, a variety of music is played. I really like this place.

I really like this skating Rink because it has more availability for adults to skate teen and kid free. They also have classes and sometimes the teachers are at the regular sessions. It's just a cool adult skate culture there that i love. It's also VERY CLEAN and well-kept. I can't go regularly because it's a 45 min drive for me, but, it's worth the drive.

I would like to express my gratitude to Kiarra and her team for their contributions toward making AMLI event at Sparkles a great success. We had a great time!

We did not have a pleasant experience with the woman who checked our group in (a red headed lady). She was rude and nasty and seemed not to care about the kids cards not working plus other issues We have been to this facility a few times and so has our sister facility and the facility is nice and never had a problem before but today, was not the day for their customer service!!! So when I contacted the facility to lodge a complaint, the person I spoke to did not seem to concerned and stated that she was a m

Great fun on adult night on Sundays .. special celebration with DJs the night we went with friends. It had been decades since I had skated so I was really bad, but their 'life guard' was helpful. And everyone was nice and encouraging. Food & drinks not too expensive. Boy was it good exercise... Working a whole set of different muscles.

Really enjoyed the Open skating with people of all ages. DJ was poppin...maybe a little too much for younger ears after 8 but overall we had a blast.

It was 4:30pm and we waited for 30 min for entry. The operations of the facility have a ton of room for improvement. Also, they shouldn't advertise providing alcohol for adults when they don't staff their bar. It was 6:30pm and they told us they had closed the bar.

Excellent time skating with my daughter! Clean facility! Friendly environment !!

Clean. Organized. Fun. Kids were not too rowdy. Adult bar set it off! Had a great time with my fam

The older black woman went to talk to my son about the rules of the skating rink and told him to go to middle of the rink, the woman instead of telling me the parent that it was better if he skates in the very middle of the rink bc she didn't want him to get hit. #1 she make my son crying twice and she by harassing him. #2 the woman was chasing him and telling him not he couldn't go anywhere and grabbed him, you don't grab peoples children#3 she can not expect us to knows or be familiar with the rules; it'

We took our kid to meet up with a group of friends. They made us pay the full price of a non-skating adult just to meet up with the other parent and drop our kid off. What a racket.

Was out at Cowboys BirthDay party / Skaters award event when you do that..... {$#!?} its on.... Blessing

My family and I really enjoyed ourselves and the grandkids will sleep well tonight ????????????

Had a really bad experience here on 1/27/24 around 5:30-6:30pm. We arrived to meet up with some friends for a birthday gathering. We didn't have a set party, but thought it would be easy to just pay for entry/skates & skate around for a little. That wasn't the case, I'm not 100% sure what the issue was because the inside was not crowded, but we waited in line for 45 minutes & didn't move forward the entire time. I spoke to a manager, I can't remember her name, but she was no help at all. I asked what the ho

The employees clearly don't want to be there. If you're white hang it up. They don't want you there. The old man hates white people and said he doesn't have to answer to any white person. Mind you he's staff and I have a black wife and mixed children that he clearly didn't approve of. When talking to the younger staff they won't do anything about that disrespectful nature he has. We were told to leave bc I told them what he said and they claimed since this is a race thing.. yes it's a race thing bc you mad

The atmosphere was great. No complaints really great music also.

Do NOT book your party here! No customer service, almost everyone has an attitude and they ripped us off ! Booked a party here for my daughter?s 4th birthday on a Sunday. The Party coordinator barely wanted to confirm any details her tone was dry, and overall just rude. In spite of that I still asked politely for any information pertinent on the date booked ..i e. what time the rink closes? how long does the party have to skate? Etc Yet the event coordinator fails to mention the rink close at 6 on Sunday and

Awesome fun! The place was clean. The skates were good and the skating rink was nice

It didn't seem like there were enough people to work/working. There was only 1 person at the register where you pay to get in, so the line/wait was long. There was only 1 person in the concession area, so that line was also long. We were there for a kid birthday party, and the whole arcade area was closed. The staff was nice though.

This is my favorite rink to go to. In comparison to other rinks, the staff here really makes the difference. They are super helpful and always polite. You can tell they have a good work culture because everybody I dealt with had a good attitude. The food was inexpensive and the music was good. There is a little playground for the kids when they get tired skating. I definitely recommend and would come back.

Great family oriented place. Had fun with the kids.

I absolutely loved it. It reminded me to of when I went skating in chicago. Nice older mature crowd on sunday evening and its a great price! I had a great skate in the ATL! Definitely recommended if you like a good skating rink.

We had a great time at Sparkle Family Fun Center in Smyrna! They had lots of fun games and tasty snacks. My daughter had so much fun that we want to go back for skating lessons. The people working there were super nice and helpful. It's a fantastic place to have fun with the family!

For this to be a kid environment, the staff is oddly super unfriendly?the guy at the skate rental was a bit weird with the mask. Like are you mute? Do you talk? The older black woman clearly seen me trying to slowly ease my 3 year old, not to mention he's autistic, to the middle of the rink, she comes and feels she needs to tell me it's better if he skates in the very middle of the rink bc she doesn't want him to get hit. #1 you clearly see me trying to get him to the middle but before I could even get a ch

Great rink and great atmosphere. Skaters of all skill were present. Admission prices and rental wasn't expensive and I would visit again!

We had a school event held at this location from 10am- 1pm. When we arrived on time, the manager wasn't there and the building was closed. When she did arrive, she had coffee from DD, and not even apologetic. All she said was, ?Good morning? as she slowly opened the building. We got inside just to wait another 20 minutes, as there was no sense of urgency on her part. The customer service was poor!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
