Customer Reviews

We went on a Weekday during our local spring break. Was not busy at all which was great. Pretty clean. Kids had a good time. The play place is an additional $6 for a wrist band. And the arcade seemed reasonably priced. Staff was fine, not overly helpful or accommodating. Prices at the cafe seemed reasonable as well

i should start off by saying that i go here almost every weekend. for the most part its great!!! on the other hand, Little kids are constantly Outside of the middle and in the way of groups and Advanced skaters (The workers do the best they can to avoid this problem) I see a lot of reviews regarding the prices and although I can see the issue you have to take into account that for one person admission is $15 so the more people you have the more money you're gonna have to spend. The workers are great, i lov

Had a few hours of fun with the hubs and the grandson. We visited early on a Saturday, so it wasn't crazy busy. There was a nice size crowd though. The music is good and the vibe was right. The husband and I enjoyed ourselves while the grandson hung out with his friends. I'm curious to see what the evenings are like, but we didn't have time for that. We only had a few snacks, but I'm not keen on the prices. I would say typical amusement prices, which are more than what we should pay. Definitely nothing to

Rylin (front desk on Monday, Feb 17) Erin (playground on Sunday, Feb 16) Both employees were so helpful and professional! Their interactions an impact on our experience in a positive way!

Absolutely do not recommend this location. While I can't speak for other branches, my experience here was completely unacceptable. I attempted to register my child online for the upcoming spring break camp. I called on Thursday and spoke to a young lady who was polite and informed me I could complete registration on Friday. However, when I tried to do so, the location was closed. I called back first thing Saturday morning, only to be told by Manager Jonas Casser that I was now outside of the 5-day window a

My kids loved meeting the Grinch for Christmas. We hope this tradition carries on. We appreciate you Sparkles Family. Always very clean and polite.

I love visiting this rink. I usually come down twice a year for the USA Shuffle Skaters event. The facility ?sparkles? literally. The restrooms are clean, the Couey Cafe is decent, the pizza is delish? and the esthetics are on point. The floor is awesome and the lighting? wow. It's amazing all by itself. 5 spinning ?? balls! I also visited during a family/public session. The female floor guard did an amazing job escorting kids with skate mates to the center of the floor. She gave whistle blows to alert the

What an amazing experience at Sparkles. The managers and team were outstanding. Truly one of the best entertainment experiences I have ever had. We definitely will be back soon.

Went in for one of my son's classmates birthday parties and had an absolute blast! The music was great, atmosphere was welcoming as well as the staff. All the kids enjoyed skating and playing in the jungle gym! Definitely would come back.

You know it's a great day when you don't get off the dance floor rink :) TY Hope Harbor Restoration and Counsels Nailed it Yoda ;) Where's Waldo ??

Fun! Went for a kids birthday party. Adults could skate as well. I decided to get out there (haven't skated in years) and I had the time of my life. My kids enjoyed it too. They have the roller walkers to assist the little kids which was great. The music was good. They had a few different things to do for the kids like laser tag, the arcade and the fun center. It wasn't too crowded either. I recommend.

The skate police stops the music every five minutes to remind you of the rules. She even turned the lights back on after the DJ put them on low. Please have a chat with her. We understand safety but she doesn't have to ruin the fun for everyone!

Absolutely the best place to have family fun!!

The worst experience ?.I've been skating for years so I would consider myself a good skater but when it's packed with teens that get dropped off and they are going so fast and causing issues (esp with smaller kids) it's ridiculous ?. Only giving two stars bc the music was great?. Would not recommend if you have smaller kids bc they will get taken down !!!

Kid friendly, clean, good appropriate music. I bring my autistic son often and he enjoys skating.

Really good and reasonable family outing. We really enjoyed skating moderate size rink, nice staff. Laser tag was fun but my gun malfunctioned. Food prices are also reasonable. We will return for another outing.

It's nice and clean, a tad bit unorganized , maybe because it's ran by a lot of teens and if any questions that needed to be answered, we were pointed to the only 2 adults I saw that worked there as well. The DJ did a great job with the different genres...my niece couldn't stop dancing. Oh, the food absolutely SUCKED!!! The pretzel bites tasted old, the cheese sauce was watery with no taste, chicken tenders had more hard breading than meat, fries old & hard and the list goes on and on. The best thing to eat

It was awesome my kids loved it, the only con is it's expenditures, only 3 of us paid 100$ but other wise it was awesome would come again??

Love this place for our toddlers when they have the age 5 and under days. $9 a kid with lunch included and you get to bring your child's favorite ride on toy. Can't beat it!

Mr Todd and his staff took extra steps to make my granddaughter feel the skate experience. She was on her third grade field trip and she has a spinabifida. They helped her get on and off the rink. We tried several skates to find a good fit. Used the walkers to skate. Had a great time. Great place to bring your kids for family fun. Indoor jungle gym, games and dinning. And the prices wont break the bank.

Good place to take the family to skate and play. The food could be better, but overall everyone had a good time

My baby turned seven and wanted her party here. She had a blast. Everyone was so nice and professional. The manager was very patient and helped me work through a few things. Kudos to the whole staff!

Best skating experience I've ever had in my life great service great prices and the staff are amazing

Chaperoned for my daughters Kindergarten class STEM field trip hosted at Sparkles. It was very interesting and I refreshed my knowledge on force and motion. The instructor was very engaging and knew how to work a crowd of 5 year olds. After their lesson the kids skated, played in the playground, ate pizza and danced. The kids had a blast and will bring my daughter again since she did receive a free pass.

We have a blast at sparkles. I love the "kids skate free", that they offer. My kids love the play area, & the pizza. Wednesday's are discounted after 4pm. The staff, management, & owner are amazing!

Definitely a place to go for kids to wear themselves out if they want to rollerskate, play in the playground and play some arcade games. Place was nice and clean and everyone is so helpful. This was our first time and we will definitely be back.

We love visiting this rink. Sparkles Hiram has the friendliest staff and It's always clean. Sometimes it seems understaffed (the same person is handling the skate rental booth and the laser tag) and there's a bit of a wait, but It's not like they're just standing around and everyone is so nice that you can't be mad. We alsways have a good time.

Great place to bring your kids of all ages! Also amazing staff! Jonas was super kind and extremely helpful explaining the works of the faculty! Great job sparkles definitely coming back!

Over priced food. Which was cold as heck. How can you have a philoy cheesesteak when the cheese is not melted. Horrible. Everything here is microwaved.

Sparkles of Hiram is my families go to Fun Center! Look at the cleaning being performed! They really care about their clients! And we love them right back!

Do not come here unless u intend on spending $100 or more just to bring my 4 kids it cost $85 just to skate then they want to charge $5 for the helper that rolls w/u if u don't know how to skate, oh only get it for 1 hour & non refundable. God forbid u want a drink or don't have your own skates or OMG want to play laser tag. I'm so sick of raising prices by double they will never go bck down. It's a sad day when u can't even take your children to anything fun cause it will break your wallet. Shame on these

We came for a birthday party today. I brought my 2 nephews. One of which was wheelchair bound and special needs. I don't really get impressed a lot because I feel like regardless whether he's special needs or not it's a basic human right to be treated fairly. But these employees went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time and were included. We had the best time. He never once got overwhelmed, he asked several times to go back to the rink. They had a wheelchair ramp and all to help us up and down

Thank you to the Hiram crew for making my daughter?s birthday her favorite yet. The blackout was perfect! The new rink was incredible to skate on. Everyone had the best time. Book your party there

Very nice place for children to play. It has got a court inside where children can ride their ride-on toys, skate or just run around. A lot of other arcade and bowling games too.

We always have a great time. Very clean, good fun for the kids and adults. Management is great. Morgan and her crew are top notch. Barbie skate night was a blast!

Actually went for a school field trip. Kids did science experiments testing motion and force. Was pretty dope if you ask me. After the lesson the kids played laser tag, skated, had pizza and enjoyed the playground. Wonderful work Sparkles connected STEM lessons to fun fun fun

Dirty, and don't waste a single $ on the claw machines/play cards half of them are broken and upon requesting assistance no one offered any help.

Great customer service for my sons VIP Birthday party thanks to our party host! Laser tag weapons could use a little conditioning. Still, the adults and children had a blast!

I took my five year old to the Frozen/ Indoor Snowball Fight. It was a blast and the indoor play area is fantastic. I used to come here as a teenager and it's fun to be there again as a mom. Thanks y'all!

So first time I took my family it was dirty and the staff seemed annoyed. Also there was a private party that took up half the place. But we gave another shot 2 years later and this week d was pretty fun the kids had fun the staff was very nice and even the Skate guy was very nice even making jokes. We will be back again soon thanks.

Great place. I always forget why we don't come often. Writing this down to remind myself that the prices are high. Need a Groupon or discount. $73 for 4 kids w/2 rentals.

My daughters had a great time age 2 and 9. Clean building and friendly staff. Facility

We had a great time at my daughters Birthday party. Cost a pretty penny for just 10 people. But we had a good time.

Kindergarten field trip was so fun! This was our second year going. They are very organized and the kids have so much fun! Thank you Sparkles staff!

Brought our youth group out and due to unsafe skating by other, more experienced skaters we had two incidences that could have been avoided. No one is policing speed of other skaters and our beginning skater took the brunt of their ineptitude. Assistant manager was thoughtful but did bring the other skater over to discuss. Poor decision making there as excuse after excuse was made as to why it was my youths fault. Did not like how the situation was handled and don't want it to be a bad experience for our ki

Was so FUN the staff were so nice they played games with us for my birthday February 16. Laser?tag was fun and my best friend's? Feilx Carson Scott Peyton Will Jordan Jaycon H and Jason A are so awesome at laser tag and when we played we all went after Feilx for fun was really really funny when he yelled will be going back again

A kid was being bullied and multiple concerned parents brought it to staff and managments attention for nothing to be done. People pay a lot of money to come into here and no actions were done to help the kid being bullied. I will be telling everyone to take their business elsewhere as I am appalled at how unprofessional sparkles is. Management here is a joke. I wish there was an option for 0 stars. I don't see anything changing here anytime soon as the workers don't really care. You'd have to start out wit

Super fun time got roasted by a child and watched my friend fall on her butt many time it was funny??

We were first timers. The employees were so helpful and genuinely seemed to care. Brought my 5 year old as well as 18 month. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Thanks Sparkles staff!

Brandy, the manager, is an amazing woman, very understanding, and has a huge heart and cares about people. Hiram sparkles is a great place. The manager deserves all the praise. We had an issue arise & Brandy handled it so well and so kind to myself and my daughter. I can't speak highly enough about this woman.

Our niece really is crazy about this place...great family outing

We had so much fun at the USA Shuffle Skate!!! We can't wait to go back ??????

Amazing rink!! Owners are great, music is awesome. Love the events they host!! Will be back for sure

Family fun for everyone ALL ages, skating, games, laser tag ALL SO much fun! Awesome day with the kids today!

Don't waste your time. Have an advertisement on the door they refuse to honor. Inside looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80's. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Several far better places at lower prices close by.

The skating and music are great. Suggestion: maybe every 1-2 hours change skating directions. Reason for three stars - always skimpy on the food. $3.75 for an order of fries. You get HALF a basket!! HALF A BASKET!! I also ordered the $5 Kids Basket. Two tenders and like five fries! Charging regular prices for barely anything to eat. I asked them to fill them up and they said they are pre-portioned! What a rip off. Skate here but eat before you come because you are going to leave hungry and disappoi

I've never been insulted by another adult like the manager you have here. She looked me in the eyes and mocked me, repetitively, asked me if I'd like to cancel my son's birthday party, literally at his birthday party, all because I was under the wrong impression of the 2:15 time slot, when we didn't get the party room until after 3pm. I kept looking at her and asking if she was serious and to please stop, she didn't- she actually made me cry. I'm a grown 42 year old, woman with an entire life, and somehow,

No alcohol on Sundays. MardyMar had the Entertainment that had music and bubbles!!! The kids and adults had a ball!!

Went for the first time with my family didn't know what to expect, the staff and the atmosphere was great didn't eat nothing so can't rate the food other than that is is a clean and family oriented atmosphere

You have to hit cancel on their vending machines after using your card or everybody who comes up after you gets free drinks or snacks on your behalf!

I was surprised at how much it was for my 2 young skaters to skate here. $40 seemed steep for an hour of entertainment. One of my kids barely got on the rink. I figured it would be something fun to try. For $40, we won't be back.

My friend invited me here. It has been eight years since I skated, shortly after I got on the skate floor, a little girl about the age of 6, having fun, wasn't paying much attention, almost caused me to collide with her. I extended my arm to protect the child and prevent collision. I certainly meant no harm, I circled back around to make sure she was OK, she was laughing and smiling with her sister. Three hours later, a group employees walk on the skate floor asking me to come with them. They bring me in fr

I had not been to this place in years but they have all new skates and they seem to really be keeping the place up

Nice facility, friendly staff. We enjoy the kids skate free. You'll pay for all the extras, playground, skate trainers so it's nice to have the kids skate free program. I'd likely not come half as often as we do of I had to pay entrance for my daughter and her friends.

Trans-friendly staff! A small group of transwomen were confronted by a staff member that a man had complained about their presence, and Sparkles staff instructed him to leave without incident. Very professional handling of the situation and it's great to see more people standing up for trans existence. Stay visible!

Kids had so much fun but anything you try to get cost money I mean every little thing. $$$$$

Just recently visited and met with unfortunate unfriendly faces at the food counter. Kelly with the dirty blonde hair was especially rude and uninviting. I took my kids here for a good time and simply wanted to get them some food. I never expected to be met with rude remarks and customer disdain. I will stick with kennesaw or Smyrna no matter the drive. Won't be back. Can't rate a zero if I could I would. Also why are the police patrolling and monitoring the children?s playground area? Is this the military?

Just came up to Sparkles based on the kids skate free link they have on their website and answering machine. When I arrived they advised its NOT FREE and you have to go online to pay for it. I literally brought $10 bucks with me. Enough to get myself in because we have our own skates. Didn't bring a card to pay for anything. Spoke with the GM Morgan. She was super rude and argued with me and told me she couldn't do anything to help me. I asked her if she could help me with the site because it was not workin

The skating and play space are fine. The internet never works and the cell signal poor in this area. When I asked customer service to reboot the mode, they said the internet ?just doesn't work? but they had no access to fix it. Poorly managed in my view. Also the food is incredibly mediocre.

I grew up here. I loved re-living my youth, lol. I enjoyed my time there, however the prices are outrageous. I would go more often if I could afford to. Come on, I know u are making bank. Come down a little.

Went for my grandson's birthday. It was enjoyable. They have a standing policy, if you don't reserve a table for your event, you are not allowed to bring in gifts or event food. I get it, it keeps it to where paying customers are getting the favor.

Yall did good thank you for y?all?s service it's really good for all ages and I really like it

My daughter enjoys this place as much as i once did YEARS ago! Its still rocking and rolling like it did when i was a kid it has been very well kept over the years and upgraded.. There is a lot more stuff to do than when i was coming here growing up. Its a safe place to enjoy your kids. The perfect place to interact with your kids! You can Get on their level and get a great workout all at the same time!

My 2nd grader?s school scheduled a field trip here today, December 1st, 2023. This is the first field trip that my ex-husband (that lives 1.5 hours away) was going to be to attend. We kept my kindergartener out and he and his wife brought their 2 year old. Parents were invited to come. In the last, I have brought siblings on field trips with no issue. Today, however, my ex-husband, kindergartener and their family was turned away. They were told Sparkles does not allow siblings to attend, even though they we

Great place only downfall is the music. It's wishy washy stick to the good stuff that old school disco stuff kills the vibe and experience for me. Play the 90?s and 2000?s hits and mix in some new stuff from time to time.

Music selection needs updated so the children can enjoy themselves a lil more. They should chose music from all genres, not just country and pop. When u skate u wanna be able to dance but this isn't happening here. Still a nice place to enjoy with family and friends. Music is the o my downside for me but it is very clean

We went here for an event where kids could meet Disney princesses and my daughter loved it. She got to meet Elsa, and play on their jungle gym thing. Great experience. Food is subpar though.

The staff was very good to us making sure we were able to get on and off the skating rink with our small children. They would stop or slow down traffic so I could get my little ones to the center area for beginners. There are some weirdos there that clearly didn't have kids with them eye-balling other people's children. I'd recommend having some sort of security on staff or an officer at the exit. Or just conceal carry. Otherwise I would've went 5 stars.

Very fun place, had my daughter's birthday there

If you are wondering... no, Sparkles in Hiram is not for us so do not waste your time and money. I had to read the reviews to make sure it just was not me. I also had my good Becky ask for the same service I had requested and she was accommodated without an issue.

Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family. Not too crowded. The DJ is pretty good, too.

Shout out to Stacy, the floorguard. Was there yesterday with 3 grands and noticed Stacy is very attentive to the floor and the surroundings. Good floor guards are few and far between. She's a keeper. ??

I've been bringing my son here to skate for years. It's always very fun and inviting! The cost to enter and skate is very reasonable and cost effective. Additionally, there is a variety of things to do such as laser tag, a maze, and arcades. The food court offers great options of things to eat as well as plenty of room to sit and eat. There are birthday pkgs available for parties. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Overall, it's a great family oriented place to have a great time! I highly recommend!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY SKATES FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Do yourself a favor and purchase them anywhere but here. We bought 3 pairs of skates a little over 2 weeks ago. 1 pair was in stocks. The other two we had to order. We received a call on Friday they were here. We just drove 40 min. got here to skate and and was informed they sold the skates yesterday!!!! They told us they were in stock and cold have them here by next Friday!!!!! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME

The skating was fun, but the food was really overpriced and bad. For example, it was 7 dollars for a burger that was very average and 22 dollars for a cheese pizza. They burnt it too, which made it even worse.

Went for a birthday party. Food was good, and got served fast. Atmosphere is comfortable and staff was very friendly. The only thing we didn't like was being rushed out of the area! We understand there are more birthday parties but don't book them back to back and rush people that paid good money for a party.

Great fun for the kids. Could use some updates...and sanitation is a bit lax. Skates in all sizes are very worn/damaged but the staff is very accommodating on finding a good pair of skates.

Great place for a Family Day out on a Saturday plus friendly staff.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
