I was here for my nieces birthday party. Amazing experience. Carson made it perfect. His ability to connect with kids is second to numb and make them feel comfortable and make them laugh. He needs to be training your staff for sure on how to do it the best way.!!! Great job Carson! Our whole family was impressed! Way to go!

This place is great! Food is amazing, a good selection of cocktails and drinks on tap, lots of fun games at the arcade, and a very friendly staff. Riley was extremely helpful and kind and got us a lane very quickly. Would definitely come back here!

Having a party here was such an amazing experience for my 5 year old! I can't say enough about Ben our party host. He managed 20+ kids, did absolutely everything and was so upbeat for the kids! Had my daughter's birthday here in the V.I.P room and it was awesome, definitely worth it, you get 5 lanes all to yourself and it's in a separate room away from the public! Would do it again in a heartbeat, eyes closed. Our party hosts Carson and Ben were amazing! They kept the kids and adults entertained all night. Love the summer Kids bowl free program! It is a great option when its really hot out or just to have fun. It's recommended to go earlier as they sometimes have leagues and private events and there's no open lanes. Staff is friendly

Went the other day with my two kids to beat the heat. The stuff and experience was excellent however I wanted to highlight one staff member named Amu? I had trouble remembering her name but I know that was her nickname. I have to give 5 stars. I remember being a kid and my sister and I would go here every Saturday. So much fun. I also had my birthday party here. It's was years and years ago. I just saw a ad on Facebook about kids bowling and it brought me back to my childhood memories of this place. So decided to give 5 star review.

How lucky are we to live practically next door to this place? My boyfriend and I had a Groupon for two hours of bowling and we decided to use it on a random Wednesday night when the parking lot was pretty empty. Usually we drive by and this place is packed! Now we see why! It was such a blast! And we were pleasantly surprised by the food, tasted fine and a decent price! This would be great to do with a group of friends. The service was great and we can't wait to go back!

There aren't many bowling Alley's around anymore. This one is fantastic. It's clean, lots of food choices, child friendly and it has an arcade as well. I highly recommend going here for family fun!

All around a good bowling alley and place for some fun on the weekend. Birthday parties or family gatherings are pretty fun there as well. Pretty good parking and a decent bar attached for a date with your partner then hit up some bowling or laser tag.

Staff was great, we threw a kids birthday party there. Food was really good, arcade isn't the biggest but it keeps the kids busy. Arcade needs some updated video games. Bowling was good, broken patterns all day, bring your house ball. Everything was clean, mask worn all times.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place is amazing. My son had his 5th birthday party at spare time in Vernon. The organization was 10/10. The food 10/10. Games 9/10. Laser tag 10/10. We had a nice time here, totally worth the money. We had nice time while we were there. We did one hour of bowling which was great. The best part is the animation they make of you with your photos. It was so cool seeing them! Since this is open till and from 11 its unlimited bowling, it does get crowded but it's like 60$ an hour. What a fun place! The atmosphere is amazing! You can feel the good time as soon as you walk in! Everything is super clean! The food is great! We came here for the Superbowl party to watch the big game while enjoying food, drinks, and lots of things for the kids to do! All started off really well, the service was great. Did the laser tag arcade birthday party for our 5-year-old here. I was a little nervous about doing laser tag but our party host, Ben. Absolutely an amazing job hurting a group of 15 5-year-olds through a 2-hour birthday party without any hiccups. Best party host ever. Highly recommend

Attention to detail and to our needs did not go unnoticed. The venue is clean, organized and overall fun-filled with bowling and the arcade room. Pretty cool place. We held our company Christmas party here and had a great time. I love that they had a full bar, got a few cocktails to help get the party started. Very interactive scoring interface. It's pretty cool the technology there is with bowling these days. I remember alleys with paper score cards. And smoking? glad somethings have changed for sure. Held our sons 7th Birthday Party here and it was a blast! Kids had a great time, and so did the adults! Stress free entertainment for several hours. Zero clean up! Fun place with an AMAZING staff! We took a couple of kids who it turns out were a little too young for laser tag - staff were incredibly patient and kind and made it all a great experience. Above and beyond customer service!!

We only went to the arcade. It's fun occasionally, but games are quite expensive these days, sometimes $2 or even $3 for a single chance at a prize or handful of tickets. It's basically teaching kids gambling. I think it's a better deal to play the actual GAMES and be entertained than spend on the purely ticket or prize machines in the hopes of trading points for the extremely cheap low-quality "prizes" in the "store". I'll take my kid once or twice a year, but that's about it.

I work for a large non-profit organization and we used Spare Time for a family bowling outing on Father's Day weekend. I'm beyond pleased with the level of attention, responsiveness and overall experience. Our clients had an amazing time, the staff were professional, the food excellent. My son and I go often, whether it's for the bowling, laser tag (one of the few left locally), or the arcade (could use some new machines as many have seen better days, and the rewards for tickets aren't the greatest) but we have an awesome time each and every time. EDIT: we come here just about weekly and quality of service definitely depends on who is working. Also, food may or may not be available, same with lanes depending on time. Best advice is to call ahead.

I have registered for KidsBowl this summer and have used for almost once in the summer. As it is almost ending, we planned to go with Kids and waited almost 40 minutes. Kids were so excited to hit lane and have some fun. Unfortunately, we never got the chance to actually bowl due to time constraints.

Prepaid groupon for 90 mins. Waited an hour and a half for a lane only to be told we would be cut back to only an hour

I bring troubled teenagers here for off ground activities from my job. The staff is always super polite and helpful and there are always available lanes. My colleagues and I had the pleasure of spending a delightful Saturday afternoon in the VIP section of this establishment. The culinary offerings were exquisite, and the beverage selection was impressive. The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness and a commendable willingness to accommodate our requests. We shall certainly revisit this establishment in the future.

I couldn't believe how rude the server Amanda was. I simply said to her that there was a hair in my nachos and she got extremely defensive saying that it wasn't hers. I just wanted new nachos and she said she would talk with her manager. 15 minutes went by and she refused to stop at my table. Bowling was good, but the balls definitely need to be replaced as many were damaged. The arcade area was a disappointment; at least three games were out of service, and another three gave errors and didn't work properly. Plus, the games are quite expensive to play.

We greatly enjoyed the Friday night karaoke. The menu needs to add some healthier options. The "roasted" Brussels sprouts were fried, not roasted. The waitress, Kelli, was very attentive and helpful. I wanted tea, which they did not serve, but she was able to bring me a cup of hot water for the tea bag I had in my purse. The facility is always clean, and the staff is friendly.

Spare Time is a great place to hangout with family and friends. The food is always hot and fresh and the staff goes above and beyond to provide a positive experience. I must say, everytime myself or my group come in we are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcoming from the front desk employees! The food is spot on, lanes are clean, and that game zone has a lot to offer! If you don't believe me, then you must see, for this is the best place to be for any occasion! I respect that when your leaving they don't just say bye, they invite you back. Family friendly.

Spare Time Vernon is a fun place, with nice employees and a clean location. I've been to the arcade & Laser Tag and enjoyed that as well, however I do not like the fact that the arcade is in the same building as the Bowling Alley. I don't like the way the Spare Time franchise is buying & changing beloved bowling alleys; it makes it very difficult and unattractive for league bowlers to find a space just for Bowling.

Been going to spare time for years! Still a good time but has gone down hill some, on the night bowling. The time got cut back to 2 hours and you don't even get to play that entire time... posted time is 10-12 now .. we got there at 920 put our number and name in and had to wait until 11 for a lane and only got one hour of play time..we waited longer than we got to play! The hours should not be posted at a set time and price if that isn't what it is going to be..
