Spare Time Greenville

I went to Spare Time today and had a great experience. They have laser tag, bowling, a huge arcade, a restaurant, and even an escape room. The place is a lot of fun and has something for everyone. All of the staff were super friendly, and Charles at the laser tag area was especially helpful. I had accidentally left my phone behind, and he went out of his way to track me down and return it. That kind of service really stood out. It can get a bit expensive, but I'm looking forward to coming back on Half Pric

We went here for the "kids bowl free" summer program with friends today, and got a few appetizers, and also played laser tag for the first time, too. (I hadn't played since I was around 16 years old). It's very clean, bathrooms clean, too, and a great time. The "kids bowl free" is a great way to save money and a fun summer activity, especially with the heat. We will be back again soon.

I went to a team outing here a while back. I randomly found a Groupon, and we went this weekend. I always enjoy coming here. It's very clean and modern. The bowling games are fun and have different themes you can choose. There's also an option to set bowlers up with or without bumpers which is great if you're a family and the little ones need bumpers, but you'd rather not have them up for yourself. Visiting from out of town. We're told by a local to check this place out and use a Groupon for it and that's what we did. Kids had a great time bowling, playing some arcade games, and eating some pizza. They also offer a few other adult game type experiences from laser tag to escape rooms, to a vip lounge I'm sure you can rent out for a work event etc. The employees were friendly and helpful. Pizza was ok. Definitely burn through your arcade game cards extremely fast when you look at game play for $ value.

Great fun time . Only complaint is the boys DID NOT get the full 15 min of play in Lazer tag that was paid for. They were very busy.Hopefully in the future the workers will do better to make sure people get the full time paid for. $9 a person for laser tag. Would have given 5 stars. Unsweetened tea one glass was like $3.70 something and access to free water for kids.

Great place to bring the kids while having some adult time! Been here a few times for bowing, laser tag and games and will keep coming back! Front desk guy today was not very nice today (actually a jerk) but this was just an isolated incident as other times no issues. Still 5 stars!

Good night of Family Fun. The food wasn't the best but the Arcade and Bowling were Top Notch. I didnt do the Escape Room but my kids have done it with their dad and they liked it too.

We had a great experience on a Friday. We asked about specials and got the one that worked best for us. T was our server and she was friendly and helpful. There was a variety of food options, even for our picky eater. We loved being able to use bumpers as needed during play. Kids loved the game area. Some of the games are overpriced.

We held an event there with about 32 people and all in all it went good. My biggest problem would be, we pre-ordered a taco bar for supper that would feed 48 but there was not enough to feed 32. Some people had to order their on food. It was 25$ a person which was way high for the amount of food and quality. We still got charged for 48 people at 25$ though there was only 32? Staff was super friendly, management was great to talk to, we just didn't appreciate the amount of money we was charged for not so goo

I really prefer Spare Time over the competition. Better rates, better entertainment, just better. If I could change one thing it would be just moving the bowling special up an hour. Other than that, go have fun.

I took my teenagers there and let them have their fun and waited for them at the bar. They really enjoyed themselves and the workers were really nice. I had a small lunch while I was there and the sliders were really good and so was the drink. We'll definitely be back.

Very disappointed. They were very rude and very disrespectful against my family. They made fun of my children that are special needs and the manager was also in on it. I had to confront him and the staff about the informalities and situation because it almost brought me to tears I'm not joking. I was very upset after I spent about $450 dollars and was very disrespected. I watched as my daughter went to use the restroom and as she walked by the staff and management made fun of her and made her feel very low.

(ST?s take on Cosmic Bowling) could use some work. There's no reservation process, which is fine. This is a first come, first serve event. But nobody on staff was forthcoming about a wait list that opens at 9:55 for the event that starts at 10. My partner called earlier in the day. Wow, what a fantastic 60th birthday surprise! My amazing wife orchestrated the perfect celebration for me at Spare Time Greenville. Not only did she treat me to a fun outing, but she also secretly arranged for my brother and sister to join us ? a truly heartwarming gesture. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy and excitement. We headed straight for the axe throwing area, and let me tell you, it was a blast! We rented out the VIP room. It costs a life and a half but it was really nice. All the staff were attentive, though they were slow on bringing out some entrees at the start. Half of the bowling modes suck and/or aren't intuitive. The lanes themselves didn't line to curved shots, though it could've just been who lubed it that day. Nice selection of balls to chose from. The machines glitched out one or two times, but this was over the sample size of 3 hours by our company so it's probably pretty consistent.

Great place for my little ones to enjoy their day. Great arcade and other games besides bowling. They also have great food!

This is a great place for relaxation and fun. Good food good drinks good fun. I must say though they did shut down our bowling game with 5 minutes left to bowl. No warning no nothing just shut down. No sorry for the inconvenience or anything.

I have been to many arcade places and I liked this Spare Time in Greenville the most. There are a lot of fun games including arcades, laser tag, bowling, and escape room. I love the designs and decorations of the building. It is also very clean and spacious for families and kids to have fun.

You're looking for a fun time for the whole family or just a get together with a bunch of adults this is an amazing fun place! The service was fantastic They served us at our tables right in front of the bowling alley. Don't like to bowl there's plenty of games and activities throughout the facility. I highly recommend whether you just wanna have fun with your date or your family.

Over all we enjoyed Spare Time. We had fun at the arcade. We played an escape room. The room was fun but, even though we "escaped", it was disappointing. The game master was so inattentive the whole time. We even had to hit the button for a hint to ask him if we finished the game. He didn't even notice. My family decided to take me to Spare Time as part of my 78th birthday celebration. It was a terrible experience. Firstly, they didn't honor the gift cards that I had that were given to me on my birthday from last year. They said they had a zero balance even though they had never been used. On the back of the card, it said that the cards don't expire. This was not true. Because we were already there, we bowled anyway on Lane #22. The whole time we were bowling the machines kept on not setting up a full rack

Great food and service. But the lanes were very dry. Hardly any oil on the lanes. Good for straight bowers, but not for league bowlers who know how to bowl. Oil is very crucial to bowling. Besides that, it's was a nice visit.

Went for a birthday party, and now my wife and I are planning on going back for a date night! This place is awesome! They have something for everyone, including a bowling alley, arcade, bar and grill, and my daughter's favorite, laser tag! We had a great time today, definitely going back soon!

Clean establishment. The games were between $1.50 and $3.50 per pay. There is a restaurant, bowling alley, arcade, escape room, and much more. I've been to Greenville a lot and this is my first time going to the space. Definitely plan to come back, and the staff was friendly.

What a fun place! The staff was amazing everyone was so friendly and so helpful. The place was very clean and well organized. The food was good bar food and the bars are well stocked. Definitely will be back didn't have time to explore the whole place in one night!

This place is terrible. they charge by the hour and not by the game, 90 minutes with shoes is $96, and you'll spend 20 minutes waiting for them to fix the pins. then they'll seat a family of 10 next to you so there's no room for anyone, and then they'll move you to another lane. which means picking up all your shoes and kids, instead of sitting the people that came after you somewhere else. awful experience for the price.

This place is a great stress reliever. It's good for both adults and kids. Our server Abby made out experience very enjoyable. We never had to ask her for anything because she provided anticipatory service. Meaning she came over before our glasses were empty and had such a pleasant attitude. The other servers are probably good too, but I will definitely ask for Abby when my group goes back. The food was much better than I remember from years ago. I absolutely enjoyed this place! Friendly staff. The food and drinks are great and there is so much entertainment. Restaurant. Bar. Bowling. Arcade. Watch sports and other entertainment on the big screens while you bowl. Perfect location. You can't beat it! Plus they allow you to bring in a birthday cake and gifts to your bowling lane. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my grandson's birthday. Thanks Spare Time! It was awesome!

I went here for a team outting. We first got food there which took forever to get. My order was incorrect so I had to wait longer to get my food. I believe I waited at least 45 minutes before I actually got my food. My other team members said that their fries we're cold. But everything else was good. I did order me an alcoholic drink which was good. The manager didn't come to the table and fixed my order and took it off being that I had to wait so long due to it being incorrect. They also gave us a $10 cred

Nice clean place. They have a big arcade room. The kids love that and so some adults. They have bowling lanes and separate VIP bowling rooms for special events I guess. They have breakout rooms and we tried one of them. It was fun. They have two bar areas and they serve food. We didn't do any of that tho. Lots of space and room to do stuff. Parking is a bit tight I thought. They serve beers and soft drinks. It's kind of pricey for stuff nowadays but nice to do if you can afford it.

Always have a fun time coming here. Definitely plan to spend a couple hours here as there is lots to do. Whether a fun time with family, teens to hang out or a birthday party, definitely sign up for their emails and you'll get all the latest specials!

Our son's friend had a wonderful 11th birthday here. The kids bowled, ate cake and pizza, played lazer tag, and participated in mind game room. Arcade games are expensive and not long enough though.

Pricey as heck. The staff at the counter were rude. The claw machines are rigged bad and the actual price of what they have to make before they let someone win is outrageous! I think it's too pricey for something so local and already common like Dave and buster's, frankies, etc. I feel those places are better. Had a great time bowling and the pretzel we ordered was pretty good. Didn't care for the mustard sauce but maybe that's just because I prefer a sour mustard vs sweet with my pretzels. We LOVE Spare Time Greenville! Our favorite family fun day together is here. We go during one of their awesome specials (like the day tripper special) for great prices. We bowl for hours and order some of the dairy free (and vegan) food before playing a round of laser tag or arcade games. Planning a get together for the kids' first try at their escape room soon too! I especially love the EXCELLENT service provided by everyone from the front desk, to the maintenance professionals, to the wonderful servers. T

This place was fun. Had a lot going on. Vr games, laser tag, bowling, nice service to lanes, bar area. Private areas. We will go back. Was not a fan of the pizza. Paper thin, no sauce, barely any flavor. Fries were good.

This was a super fun place.It had everything to choose from, except for putt putt.That would have been perfect but the bowling lane is aqesome all the colors and has a huge arcade. 2 different restaurants, a little robot that brings you food. Went here for a bday party and it was my first time here. They blocked off two lanes and it was a nice private area. The place is clean and the bowling lanes are in good condition. We did have some issues with the pins setting which ate into a good chunk of our play time, but overall it was a good experience.

The Children and myself always enjoy going to Spare Time. It's absolutely ?? percent fun. I love the games and they have so much to choose from. We always go bowling afterwards and this is where I shine with Bumpers of course!!!!!!?? Not to mention the food. Everything about this place spells a Good time. I love this place!!!!

Great place to bowl, eat and play arcade games. Went with a group of 6 and didn't take long to get a table.

spacious. alot of room for people to gather. plenty of arcade machines. bowling alley part is small in my opinion, but overall they have specials on different days of the week that are affordable for the family. i recommend.

Need to update the website they close at 12 not 2 and the bar/kitchen area was the worst experience me and my friends waited over one hour while seated waiting on a waiter to acknowledge us had to chase down someone named Amanda to take our order she brought my friend a drink that had some cheese on the glass the food waited up there so long they forgot to get our food my flatbread was cold by the time it came to the table never again

Its a fun place but the lack of food for people with celiac or allergy to gluten is sad. Other places have many more choices. Pizza, no sauce with the only "gluten friendly" choice.

For escape room only. The puzzle was literally broken. Pieces necessary for solving the escape room and moving on were missing and/or broken. A puzzle involving lights required them to flash in sequence. The problem with this is that one light was missing and another was so poorly patched with a bulb that didn't shine. The puzzle itself did not actually work. The actions needed to be performed in sequence and under a strict time limit. However, the puzzle was broken in such a way that it worked only a tent

I had a blast here! Came with a bunch of friends. We are at the restaurant, had great service from Kristen and really good food! The arcade was a lot of fun too. Quite the variety of games. Lots of fun for kids of every age. Bowling lanes are nice and bowling shoes are in good condition. I hope it stays this way. Good experience with me and my grandgirls. They enjoyed the funny characters made from the snapshots they took at the scoreboard and shown on the screen.

Save your money on microwavable, frozen food and make it at your home yourself. Also for four dollars a game save your pennies and go somewhere else like Dave & Buster?s. If I would give it zero stars, I would!!!!!!!

What a great place to bring the family or hang out with your friends. Even great place to have an event. As a professional bowler, I was impressed with everything, from the establishment to the condition of the lanes themselves.

We hit it up on Monday afternoon for a 14th bday party. The boys enjoyed he games and laser tag, all they could play for 2 hours for $20 each. I felt like that was a good value. That plus minimal other guests made this a successful visit. I couldn't imagine myself there on a weekend.

They have a few games that you can't find at other similar places plus bowling and laser tags. Super fun place!

Went bowling and arcading. Booked an elite box space. Staff in there were not very accommodating especially seeing we had small children. We had never been bowling there. Other parents jumped in to tell us where to find the smaller balls. Which was across at the main alley. We order some appetizers and drinks but the staff still never checked to make sure we were still good or wanted to order anything else etc

The staff was not good. Only help were from the girls at the general area when you came in. The mind games area is run very poorly. There was a line when I arrived with my booking, and no worker was there. A guy said he was trying to pay and that the worker disappeared on him. Once he finally came back, he had to get his manager. I went bowling and did an escape room. It was pretty expensive for 1 hour of bowling. It was $60 for 2 people. The escape room was also $30 a piece. We did Haunted Mansion which was recommended for beginners. The escape room was really fun but it was HOT inside. There was no air conditioning or fan circulating any air. I was sweating just being in there. It was uncomfortably hot. Those were my only drawbacks. n Otherwise, it was really fun. We completed the 1 hour room in 40 mins.

We had a wonderful time! This was our 1st time visiting. From the second we walked to the door the kids were super excited! The front desk attendant was very friendly, knowledgeable, and had several ideas for the kids to have summer activities at Sparetime. The service at the Bowling lanes was exceptional. Our Servers name was Eilliam I do believe and he was fast, friendly, and coming from someone in the service industry I was very pleased. The drinks from the bar were tasty and the food was hot and fresh.

It's your average arcade but will bowling escape rooms and Lazer tag which makes it much better

Went here with my family to play lazer tag. I had a good time. Lazer tag was fun. The arcade games are a dollar each ( cheaper than Dave & Busters). However, the food choices were not that great. Dave and Busters does have the better menu. Spare time offers traditional fried and smoked chicken wings. We ordered the smoked wings, but received the fried wings. A decent place kids have birthdays at. Haven't tried escape rooms yet. Nice bowling lanes with large sports screens. Arcade fun for kids and adults. Pricey arcade for the "ticket" win amounts. Games are 80-90% fully operational. Had to get workers twice to fix a game. Lots of claw, coin pushers, and class skee ball.

My friends and I went to try our first escape room here. Our experience was ruined by the young man giving the clues. We were disappointed by the lev of professionalism this young man used. We asked for our first clue and because the speaker was so low we could not hear anything. He then cussed at us and told us he'd ?already given us the (f word) clue?.

My son got a coupon for good grades. The coupon said it was good for one free game for four people. I only needed to pay for shoes. They didn't honor it and only gave us $10 off.

If you are of color , I would not recommend , they treat you as if you are less , I do not suggest you going here!

We were having a great time, so we recharged 100 dollars on our card, then the fire alarm went off and we didn't have a chance to spend it or cash in our tickets. Management didn't offer anything.

Took my boys here for the arcade. It was pretty cool! Lots of cool games, although many of them are gambling-type chance games or grabby claw-type games. Unfortunately, most of the games are VERY expensive, like $1.5 to $5 for games that take anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I might be dating myself, so I won't take a star off for that. The best value for us was the air hockey, which my boys really enjoyed! We will come again sometime and try the bowling.
