Spare Time is a strike for bowling and fun! There is something here for both the serious bowler and those who just want to have fun. Altogether, there are 22 lanes. There is also a restaurant and several arcade games. The lanes are well taken care of and they have well working automatic scoring system. Our family visited Spare Time, for the first time, for the Kids Bowl Free Summer program. We visited on the 50% off Tuesday, which kept the cost for our group of five, at an affordable price. The staff were friendly and pleasant. Took my son for a birthday day out and he had fun bowling and playing in the arcade. We went early in the day so the prize area and food area were not yet open. Everything was clean and there were comfortable booth seating down by the bowling area. Will definitely return!

If you haven't been to Spare Time in Clifton Park yet you're missing OUT. Super cheap food that's actually fire ?? (like why is it so good???), bowling was a blast, 10/10. They even got line dancing?? So cool. We saw a dancing bowling pin? ?? safe to say we had FUN!

Absolutely amazing time and great staff who truly accommodate for their customers! So friendly, helpful, and simply kind. We had our daughters 8th birthday party here, and I got to say I was impressed. Our party host was Madison. She was well organized, enthusiastic, and you could tell she loved being a party host She handled the kids great and made sure everything was on track. The place was great as well. Had a issue with the rude person at the register but everyone else was great to me and my guest. I even got help from the cook to fix the issue with the rude guy at the register. The bar tender was awesome, it was her first day but the way she worked the room you would think she owned the place.

Took my little sister here to celebrate her birthday with her friends and they had such an amazing time!! Food was great, kids had a blast, they had an arcade section so as parents we had a blast doing that haha

The bartender was outrageously mean to all of the patrons. The time restrictions were terrible, we spent $200 and couldn't even finish the last frame on our second game.. definitely a business that care about turn over over the customer experience. I will happily go to any other bowling alley that allows you to pay per game.

It's been a while since I went bowling. The place was full but they told us they would let us know when a table was available. We played on the arcade for 15 min and the table was ready. The place is very well taken care of and clean. Great option for families, dates or just hangout with friends.

Had my daughter?s 9th swifty 9th birthday this weekend and our Fun Patrol ANNA was top notch amazing , incredible out of this world !! I actually was able to enjoy my daughter?s party and relax . The kids loved her . She was on top of everything. I normally have her parties at home and stress but I will 100% be back and request the best party host in the world !!! It was fun time and great for the kids. The prices are very reasonable, including the Lazer tag. Honestly, the Lazer is so cool. It would be worth a trip just for that.

Arrived on Labor Day to play a couple of bowling games and visit the arcade, as homage to my inner child. When we arrived we had to provide our phone number so that we could be texted once the lane was ready. The wait was approximately 30 mins. Since we were waiting, we were going to try to eat at their restaurant however, the owner dimmed the lights to discourage people from going as he states he didn't have enough staff working. Walked in on a Thursday before 5 pm and wanted to just do bowling for my family. 2 adults, 3 kids. One lane. Was told by one lady behind the counter than the man behind the counter would help us momentarily. He told us if we wanted to bowl, we needed to leave because Thursday and Monday nights are packed. Which is funny cause I saw less than 10 cars in the parking lot. I couldn't find anything on their website or any notices within the business that walk ins weren't welcome to bowl on Mondays and Thursdays

My family used to love this place. We would bring our little ones bowling. We enjoyed Lazer tag, the arcade. We've gone there on our daughter and son's birthdays. But this past spring of 2024 we've been put out of our home and had to stay at a hotel locally for a months. At the hotel they have vouchers for spare time, free 10 dollar game cards, 1 per person per day. My daughter loves to go here. She enjoys bowling, laser tag, and the arcade. I brought her to Spare Time a couple of days ago. As always, she enjoyed her time there. After we left I realized that I had left my purse there. I called and the manager or owner found it and kept it behind the counter for me until I was able to come back and retrieve it. I greatly appreciated that!

Went there one Friday evening to meet up with some friends that were bowling in a group was not aware that this establishment charges by the hour that's how long it's been since I've been in a bowling alley, not a big fan of hourly bowling. I much rather pay by the game and there are establishments that still do that.

We had our daughter's birthday party here. It was clean, everything was working for bowling and the arcade and all the employees were so nice. We had by far the best party hostess ever with Anna! She was amazing! Helped us so much for setup, monitoring the kids and making sure everyone had a wonderful time! I would definitely come back here for a party! Food: Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwitch was fantastic. The mac&cheese bites were great. The pizza tasted like flat hot pockets. Bowling: Equipment was well kept. However, it is more expensive than other comparable bowling alleys. Service: The bartenders were great! The lady at the food counter, however, was vile and offensive. Unfortunately, it was so bad that I will be canceling other planned engagements at this location. She was rude to a point of making myself and other guests feel like we were a problem

This is a centrally located, very popular bowling alley combined with laser tag and a video game room. The birthday party specials here are quite reasonably priced! They also have a legitimate bar and restaurant inside the building, one that is very nice and has well priced drinks. The bowling alley is always offering deals, especially late night bowling and morning bowling for the kids in the summer. Can you do a good job of upgrading their facilities, and I am always impressed with how clean it is.

We had a birthday party here and were so pleased with our experience. The party host was AMAZING! I was able to enjoy the other moms and chat while she handled everything! She made herself part of the party and sent us the cutest thank you not a few days later. The kids had a blast, they have them all sign a bowling pin, she prompted us to do group photos! 10/10 would recommend!

Kids do the free summer bowling it is always clean, food is good, beer is good too!

Great place to bring my kids for bowling or games. We are frequent customers! One request: PLEASE put a few high-tops in view of the lower arcade games. I often bring work with me to do while the kids play and I would appreciate being able to keep my eyes on them!

I absolutely love this place. Aidan Desnoyers is awesome and his customer service abilities are amazing. You definitely need to hire more people like him who love their job and treat everyone with dignity and respect. His mannerisms are magnificent and he does his job with a smile. I work for Captain Community Human Services and we serve children ages 13-17 who are in need of support. Coming here and receiving supreme service makes my heart smile and we will be making this one of our permanent outings. Brav

The food was delicious. Was really really impressed with the renovations here. The bar/restaurant can stand alone and you'd never imagine it was part of a bowling alley.

4 1/2 STARS. We came for a birthday party and had a great time. They have everything streamlined to be as efficient as possible for both bowling and parties. The only downside was that there was a 2 hour wait for a regular lane. There were a few younger siblings who were not part of the party, who came hoping to bowl nearby. Thankfully, they were able to add them to the party so they could bowl too. It was a great experience overall.

I go here to see bands. Last time I went the bartender didn't ask the person I was with if they wanted anything to drink. We were the only ones at the damn bar ! This guy needs to go !!

A few more mechanical problems in our lane than there should have been, but otherwise, nice place for bowling. Has a bunch of other stuff (Laser tag, big game-room, restaurant/bar, etc), but didn't do that.

Came for a birthday party and our party hostess Anna was AMAZING!!! She was so attentive and took care of everything, as well as playing games with us and she was of course the winner at laser tag! I scheduled a laser tag birthday party for our 9yo grandson. It was the best EVER due to our host, Nash. He was very respectful and kind. He ran the party like a pro from beginning to end. I haven't been in a long time but after today I will stop much more often. Meghan the bartender was PHENOMENAL!!! I had 3 Martinis and food. All which was excellent! Nothing special about this bowling alley. It's just a plain old bowling alley with an arcade attached to it. My daughter went there because she was invited to a birthday party, it's not a place I would seek out to go bowling at.

Pregame with food before you go. We arrived at 5:30pm on Saturday night and we had an hour wait before a lane was available, so we sat down for dinner. The guy immediately told us that they were out of burgers and chicken tenders. So we ordered pizza and boneless chicken wings. A half hour - 45 minutes go by and we ask the guy at the bar if our food will be out soon. He questions us, asking if we actually ordered food, and we assured him yes, bro you were literally here. So he goes to check, comes back out

I just had a birthday party for my son the staff members Anna and Meghan turned a very small party into a really amazing time for the small group we had. Highly recommend.The best customer service I've seen at a kids party.

Pleasantly surprised, was much nicer inside than expected. Was very modern, and had a nice setup. Comfortable seating in the lane while waiting, and the ability to use your own photos for the graphics made it fun. Only reason I deducted a star was the staff was very immature, and a bit snarky when we were entering the alley. It seemed like they didn't want to be there, and it brought the mood down.

Awesome place! The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful in finding the right shoe size for my kids. Anytime we visit, this is one location they love to go to. They love the graphics on the lane screens, and the gaming section too!

I didn't have a good time at all. Me and my gang wanted for over an hour just to be told there wasn't a lane?.meanwhile I've been on a waitlist for over an hour. The female employee with dark brown hair was very rude and not direct. We did however play a game of laser tag and it was also horrible, it smelled like weed and body odor. Don't bother with the restaurant, understaffed during dinner hours. I believe one bartender was serving and bartending simultaneously. Everything else is ok.

Everything is awesome until you want to enjoy your night and get a drink and the bartender slams the drawer shut and has a nasty attitude. Rushing customers to order drinks. Barley anyone even at the bar. Rolling her eyes at us. Which we had about 6 people getting drinks. That's a nice tab for the establishment. We've done 2 birthdays and a date night here, and loved every part. Laser tag was a blast and the area is super cool, plus it's the only arcade around us. Black light bowling is always fun, and with their camera to add your own funny faces it makes for a good time. Plus, where else do you watch a variety of music videos?

We were completely out of things to do so we went to the arcade. It costs $3 to buy a card to play, minimal amount you can buy is $25. I have one child. We burned through the $22 in about 20 minutes. On a cold winter day with nothing to do, you are better off going to the movies. In the 80?s, 90?s, you could take a $20 and spend the whole day. My girlfriend, her daughter, and I ate here and spent time at the arcade after. The food didn't arrive for awhile, largely because I think there was only one guy working the kitchen area. The pizza was just okay..I ordered the chicken, bacon, ranch and it ended up mainly tasting cheddar-like and not much ranch. The French fries were pretty solid. I was not aware that this arcade and fun center existed in Clifton Park. I do not live in Clifton Park yet I do business there from time to time. I wanted to find this place for my son and we went there today and I will tell you it does not disappoint. It has a little bit of everything there. It has arcade, games, bowling, and other entertaining activities and games. The people that work there seem to enjoy their jobs very much. The atmosphere was very positive. I'll plan to become a regular customer there

Once I walked in I was so happy to have found a place to bring my kids over. Unfortunately this will be my first and last time. Staff was so rude. I came in with my friend and our kids. Staff refused to change our kids shoes size. Refused to let us have enough lanes for the kids to play comfortable. Refused to let us have the lanes next to each other even though there were enough empty lanes for them to do that. After accommodating the kids we grabbed some food which by the way did not fit in just o

Great experience, well spaced out, clean and well maintained. We had a great experience and service was fast. We utilized bowling for 3 of us and utilized the arcade which is spaced out nicely, lots of options to fit any age. They even made it fun for the little one's by turning the lights down and putting on music and lighting effects. Very friendly staff and bathrooms were cleaned and well maintained as well.

Last May Spare Time hosted our After Prom Event from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. and the kids had such a great time. I think the adult chaperones had just as much fun as the students. For 3 hours they had unlimited Laser Tag, Bowling, and Arcade Games...it was an awesome night. If you have about 175 kids, it is only about $20 per person...such a deal!

Just know you cannot use these for food. I was told by an employee that there was not a manager on duty to talk to. False advertisement at its finest!

Went there for their strikes and slices night. Kitchen closed 45 mins after it started, and the bar right after. Disappointed that it wasn't communicated before we dropped like 40 bucks on it, 8 just for 2 drinks
