We took our son and his friends here on a Thursday night at 5pm for his birthday party. Such a nice bowling alley, with plenty to do. There's a large video game section, a restaurant, and very nice bowling lanes. Our server Eric was excellent and the food very good. Would not hesitate to return.

Prices for bowling were not bad at all Food service was great my food came out within 15-17 minutes and the food was pretty good. They have a whole lot of games and a variety at that. And they have laser tag. The bowling was fun especially with the pictures of us on the little cartoons it was funny. Over all clean, fun, spacious and great service and food.

First time coming here when I read that it was a bowling alley/arcade I'm not going to lie I thought the arcade was going to be a whole in the wall. Some places throw an arcade in like an after thought but it was a nice size with a nice variety of things. My kids enjoyed the laser tag I did not join in on the fun so I cannot speak to that. We did not get to bowl because it was just very crowded and the wait time was extensive but I love that they offer text message alerts to let you know when your wait is u

We decided to celebrate the birthday of the littlest one in the house and they recommended this place to us. I liked it a lot because it has a little bit of everything, from gaming machines to bowling and laser tag. We loved the pizza, it has a very particular and tasty flavor. The drinks were delicious and we loved the service of the people who work there, they were very attentive. The place was super clean. I recommend them, very grateful for the attention. Thank you.??

We had our Son's 7th birthday here and they couldn't have done a better job! Our host took care of everything! From serving food, to helping kids with bowling. She was great and I would recommend them for any party

My kids love this place! Bowling, arcade and laser tag all in one place. Weekends it's packed and you almost always have to wait to bowl, but the arcade is great for that time of waiting. Awesome fun place for kids!!!

Friendly bartenders, the place was clean and the food was good. The only negative I could find was that the seating area between lanes is really tight. If you only come with more than 5 people, I recommend booking 2 lanes so you're not sharing the table and couches with another group. Other than that, I enjoyed this Spare Time a lot.

Went because we had a coupon for a free game of bowling. We had to still pay for shoes, but no big deal. We had a great time bowling as it was very interactive and they use pictures of each player to add to the fun. The kids loved it. We then went and did a round of laser tag with just us and it was awesome. Overall, it was a fantastic time!

Birthday Party Success! Kathryn the manager who attended us, saved the day for my son's 10th birthday party! Bowling, laser tag and arcade. An excellent party package and our designated party host whose name I sadly can't remember was spectacular. Very attentive at every step of the way and had such a positive and helpful demeanor. Tried to call to book a four year-old birthday party and just spoke with the rudest girl ever and customer service. You would think they'd wanna book parties and make money, but the attitude and the dismissiveness that I received when trying to get information was unbelievable. Literally had to hang up on her. That for business don't ever try to book a party here there's other locations that work better.

It was really good and family friendly. Bowling lanes were all in good shape. Food was really good. While we didn't do the arcade the selection was pretty impressive.

I drove the grand kids to this fine establishment, and they knocked their socks. Little Brandon got his first strike today. Those workers work hard to make this establishment the best. Thank you. I also got laser tag for them too. And they had a blast.

I hadn't been in Spare Time since the remodel. Wow! The place looks great. They have a huge arcade area and cut the lanes down to half. The service to the bowlers was terrific. Great job

This place was hopping last night. A lot of positive energy. It had the perfect balance of having a crowd, while not being overly crowded. Too empty, and there's no energy. Too packed, you can't get to the arcades or bowling. Music was just loud enough without being deafening. The arcades were lots of fun, especially the basketball connect four and the rat race roller coaster arcade. We didn't even get to the laser tag yet. Definitely recommend it.

We had so much fun here!!! We enjoyed everything from the games in the game room, which were all in working order and clean. Part of my group enjoyed laser tag also, while we waited for a lane to open up. Then once the lanes was open, it was game time! And when we got hungry, my party of 7 enjoy the huge pizza pie that we got. I highly recommend every part of my experience! And when I'm in town again, i'm definitely going back!

Great spot for family fun. I have visited few few times before but had never eaten there. The place is always fun and the food was good. The only thing I would complaint about was the temperature of the Mac and cheese. The taste was great but it was warm and the cheese could have been more melted.

Had an amazing time bowling with friends. Only thing i had an issue with was service. Just seemed to take long to have anyone come check on our lane to see if we were all set and if we needed anything. I just had to flag someone down. I know it was quite busy so that i get. Otherwise we all had a great time and will be coming back for more with family and friends.

Celebrating a birthday with some friends and we decided to go bowling. This place is a small version of dave & busters and so much fun! I just walked by the pizza counter and the pepperoni pizza looked great!

Great way to waste some time and it wasn't crazy expensive. Good family place, food games, etc. Plenty to do!

The place was packed and when I say packed I mean it. Every employee I had contact with were awesome and no stress to them. I was very impressed with how calm and friendly everyone was.

Nice place. We went with friends and we really enjoyed a lot. While we were waiting for a free spot in the Bowling ?? we decided to try the laser tag, OMG it was so much fun. I never tried in my life and we enjoyed like kids. After that before to play bowling we played some games and the same it was so fun. The place is recommended to come with kids, family and friends.

Laser tag, bowling, arcade, and private event area....Wow! Spare time is a great place for anyone to have fun and hang out. They are attached to City Sports grill for some great food as well.(see separate review) The event area looks like an amazing area to have a party and has it's own private lanes.

First time visiting here and we will absolutely be back! We signed up for the kids bowl free and my two had a lot of fun. The scoreboard plays funny cartoons with every turn and they had fun music and videos playing as well. Very nice bowling lanes and the entire atmosphere was comfortable and clean. A lot of game options and really good prizes to choose from as well.

Amazing fun spot, arcade and bowling is very fun, but the food is very tasteless and for the price the quality is atrocious, better to just eat before or after. I regret eating there fully, aside from that it's an enjoyable place to bowl and have fun.

It was a really nice party. We took the laser party package. The only thing we didn't like was that the two hour window wasn't enough time for us to take pictures or play. It was a little too hectic. The food was okay. The pizza was very thin and I don't think the laser games were enough because it was only 3 Rounds. I think they can do better than that. I gave them three star because they are not the worst but not the best either.

There is no reason for you to have an ARMED security guard there. It makes me afraid for the people (especially the CHILDREN) present, in case he gets hot headed and trigger happy. Security are not police - they have no right to use a gun on anyone. I don't want to come back until the security guard(s) are gun-free.

Spare Time is a great place to bowl ?? and play some great arcades ??. We've been here on multiple occasions and we love it ??. The kids have a great time, you can use the bumpers or dino helpers. The food and drinks are really good and not pricey. The place is very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone! BTW it's also a great place for parties too! So on a rainy, snowy or just about any day; stop in play a round or two then hit the arcade. You won't regret it!

Had lunch there and then went bowling. The place was very full. I think I happened to come in when there were at least 3 kids birthday parties going on at the same time. So we ate at the restaurant first and then went bowling. They did a good job adding entertainment to the bowling experience after every frame on the display board.

Mateaowas great everything I ordered was right on.i am so happy to have him As my waitor. The ambiance was nicely set for a Tues night. Prices were great very comfortable. I will definitely be back.

Had a pretty good time, disappointed with a few things though. They are getting rid of the VR game center, which was a big draw for us. A number of arcade games were out of service, which was a bummer, and at the time we went there were no snack bar options: the restaurant was not yet open and the vending machine didn't take cards, all the while not allowing in any outside drink. Laser tag and bowling were a big hit with the kids.

Hosted a birthday event here and we all had so much fun!

Stopped in for a game and was very pleased! They have remodeled the place and it looks fantastic. Tried the food "Machos Nachos" and was in heaven and had the best time bowling too.

First time here with my family It was fun for a while with the kiddos hubby was a little frustrated he only wanted a drink he was told only one person working behind the bar and serving he was told to wait a long time the person behind the bar was a little frustrated we can tell and understand but never the less customer service was a little bit rocky and he never got his drink overall it was fun for the kiddos would go again for them

It was a Tuesday afternoon so we enjoyed half off Arcade games as well as several fun rounds of bowling and a very good bartender! We loved the decor, cleanliness, and energy of the whole place. Manager is amazing had a little problem and she quickly resolved it without problem Good staff and good drinks good food always a great time The only thing I would say consider fixing is certain games like Halo or shooter games with the infrared light gun needs to be adjusted or calibrated because there is very noticeable drift or delay in the action button presses to screen happening

The staff are always good. Their food is also nice. However, the guy they have for trivia on Fridays is among the most annoying individuals I've ever encountered in my life. It almost makes me want to avoid the place entirely when it's trivia night .

I love it here!! This is my go-to bowling alley! It's up-to date, the games are new and always work, the staff is friendly, food is really good, and they play great music. I've thrown a lot of parties and gatherings here as well. The only thing I will caution is that at night they play more risk? music and videos so if you're bringing kids just be aware of that. One time I did have to ask them to change a video playing above our lane because it was way too raunchy. Personally I don't agree with videos like

I love arcades. I wouldn't consider this one... More of a money trap which is unfortunate. Swiping away 50 bucks at the drop of a hat really is the antithesis of fun. You shouldn't NEED to put five bucks into an arcade machine. One of the games even stole a couple swipes from me. Yay! I mean BOO! BOOO THIS PLACE!

Food was great staff was always around to help with our food order refills and when it was time to start playing games or a machine malfunction someone was always there. Everyone was willing to have a conversation and answer questions. I like this location very much. We didn't bowl but the lanes looked fun.

We really enjoy this place, the prices are a bit steep for the arcade games, highly suggest going on half price Tuesday's, but it is still fun regardless. Every Sunday night it's only 8$ per person 8pm to 11pm.. and on fri & sat night.. for galactic Bowling it's 18$ (shoes include) per person 10:00 pm to 2 am with glow-in-the-dark party central with laser lights. various sizes of bowling ball available... so it's pretty awesome.. and crowd was good ... service was good.. last but not least I like the choice of music they play :)

We had my grandson's 6th Birthday?? here and was told the attendant would handle everything. She didn't ??I had to constantly ask her to do things like napkins, pizza, help the children with organization with bowling turns etc. For the most she just stood back against the wall. ??These people should be better trained I am paying for convenience and me not having to worry about the party. To top it off they expect a gratuity. Disappointed ??

I really enjoyed my visit to Spare Time Bristol. The lights and sounds make any little kid excited. They have a kids bowl free program for the summer that allows kids a fun outing. Food is good and easily customizable. Staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help out, very excited about their jobs and to help customers. Birthday party options are great and easy to book. Great managers! Great place to visit overall.

There is a lot to do here for a fun afternoon with family and/or friends. We've had a lot of fun with the laser tag. I've been multiple times now and they always seem short staffed. As long as you don't need anything from a staff member, you'll be fine. Also, I wouldn't recommend getting food there. I waited over 30 mins (and still had no service) to order a pizza. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Shoes were a bit difficult to get to the tightness I like since it was velcro, but everything is new, clean, and had great music playing. Was impressed to see waiters coming to each lane to offer beverages and food menu. We didn't get food this time but maybe next time we will.

I went here for my daughters birthday. And I can say she enjoyed her time even tho some of the arcade games weren't working properly. The downfall of this place is the restaurant and bar. When I tell you I felt discriminated against because we waited 30 mins before I got up and left the area. I brought it up to the waitress attention 2 times that we were waiting to place an order she said give me a sec and never came back. First time I come to this place for Christmas day and the f?od was horrible. I ordered me a burger that was messy, the patty looked like it was fried, the buns were saggy, and the lettuce looked old. I ordered a drink which name was "purple something" dont re all the other word but it suppose to be sour. It was fun until we were asked to move because of a birthday party. I didn't mind moving for the kids birthday but I was also celebrating my birthday and they should have told us they might have to move us when we started and just offer 2 5 dollar arcade cards for the inconvenience. Poor management will not be returning but the food and the drinks were good.
