Going to this theater was like using a time machine to visit 2005. Incredibly outdated and slightly dirty. The seats are small and have very little legroom. If anyone is sitting directly in front of you their seat will most likely touch your shoes. The temperature in the theater itself was uncomfortably hot and muggy. The movie glitched twice, almost like an old CD when it hiccups. The staff members were nice which I appreciated. The people of Spanish fort/Daphne deserve an updated theater with recliner se

Usually go to the AMC but I liked the show time at this one, so thought I would give it another try. Employees playing in phones when they should be cleaning the mess on the counters and the floor since it was disgusting. If they had someone in there that could lead their team it could be a great theatre.

Nice and clean. It doesn't get very crowded so it's nice to sit back in the recliner seats to watch a movie.

They no longer take cash. You have to load it onto a card. Unfortunately the machine was down so that wasn't an option and they were out of certain foods. We decided to go to the other theater. It's not convenient. Also the outside is falling apart. I'm very disappointed.

As of 11.30.24: This place won't be open much longer based upon its current state. Cleanliness on the inside is lacking and lighting of the signage outside is in need of replacement. When you can't be bothered to maintain the building on the outside, you aren't going to care much for the inside either. Seats are looking VERY worn, bathroom fixtures are original and haven't been updated since the Grand Opening. And when customers feel like they need a shower, or should, after watching a movie?revenue wi

I tried to go and enjoy a movie with my young son last night and experienced a nasty ordeal. I went to Malbus to the movies. As I walked in, there were 4 lines. Since I am disabled, I choose the shortest line. When it came my turn to buy tickets and concessions I was very rudely treated. The young boy sold me my tickets but refused to sell me any popcorn as the line next to me was longer than my line. When I asked to speak to the manager he stated that he was the person in charge (he lied about being th

Most affordable movie theater in the area! And doesn't require prepurchase of tickets online with a fee, open seating when you arrive.

Great movie theater. Clean and has some of the most comfortable seats for a movie theater

Me and my husband took our 3 young children las night to see Moana 2. To say that this theater was absolutely disgusting isn't enough. The bathrooms were in 0/10 shape. The movie theater wasn't even cleaned from the previous guest. There was trash over flowing from every trash can. Popcorn all over the lobby. The workers were just standing around with nobody in line. Mind you this was around 10 PM. The employees were rude when we asked question about the menu. Just all around not a good experience. We wil

My family and I have been coming here for years. This building holds memories. As it does also hold worn out seats and a gaming zone that only has half their games working. I believe it's time for some upgrades!

I did not like the fact that they do not take cash but they do have a machine that will take your cash and give you a card

I was in the area and this theater was in a great location to just stop in and see a movie. The staff behind the counter were great. I got cheap and messy nachos and enjoyed myself. It felt a little dated compared to other theaters in the area, but instead of being a bad thing it added to its overall charm.

$11 for a popcorn bucket you can't eat because it's so salty. Brought it back and asked for no salt. Manager retro make no salt popcorn and refunded our money..

I really wanna give them 4 stars cause they don't sale hotdog during the week. But they're customer service was so good I have to give 5. They also don't nickle and dime you on cheese ! Thank God ! The manger there is doing something. The associates that got me my stuff was happy and expedient. Also it didn't seem fake. I actually felt like he cared about my needs. I was there September 18th seeing the forge at 6 15. The people on staff need a raise. They truly deserve it. Thanks for the fantastic custo

Nope, never again. This place is filthy and in need of a major renovation. Seats are falling apart, the ceiling is falling in, and staff don't care. I'd give zero stars if possible.

Haven't been to a movie theater in awhile... but I definitely recommend this one ????????????????????????The attendant Kam was awesome and very professional ????????????????????????

Movie was pretty good there was almost no one there we pretty much at the theater to ourselves. The popcorn wasn't the freshest, but was still really good. Also I really like being able to buy the ticket at the food counter that was probably the best update they've ever done

This is my grandkids' favorite movie theater to go to... went to see Sonic 3, which was a pretty good show! We always get a large popcorn.

Had a Great time! No long line and and reasonably prices! Worker were very friendly and helpful! They even informed me I had 5$ off rewards and free upgrades on our popcorn and drinks I forgot came with our membership!??

Went to see SAW on Halloween and was let down by the theater. From all the burnt out lights in the parking lot to the sign and walkway lights out was the start. Ticket prices on Tuesday were 5 bucks and that was fine but 2 soda's and 2 boxes of candy brought our adventure to 45.00. Yes. Way over priced for snacks to make up for cheap tickets. Bathrooms was clean and nice and theater was nice. Staff was friendly. Didn't try the popcorn as I didn't want to spend another 40.00. So with a empty theater and only

People are rude , Theater was dirty , bathroom weren't really clean , everything felt dirty, picture and sound were horrible . And the had no popcorn. How does a movie theater run out of popcorn. .

Easy going laid back place during Matinee. Avengers Infinity War was AWESOME! However, this large location did not receive Marvel cups... A collector's item for a movie of this magnitude is Necessary! So many kids and adults were disappointed because of this lack of a collector's item.

Movie flickered entire time and was hard to hear over next door theater.

Clean theater, good movie selection and never crowded. Dated seating compared to other theaters across the country ( not reclining or heated) but overall the chairs are comfortable. We are grateful for a safe and enjoyable theater to be open and available for use.

I'd rate this place higher because I have enjoyed plenty of movies here and I love the retro feel, however, lately, screens have been too dim, and today I couldn't even watch my movie cause the projector broke and they had to turn it off. Hopefully these issues get fixed. (Update, I've noticed some improvements so I'm raising the stars in my review from two to three) (Update to my update: NEVERMIND).

Second time watching the movie previous with not sound . Not acceptable . This my third review the previews had sound but not picture. the theater seems dirty, and once 5 has changed. Part of the experience of movies is the previews . We will not comeback again . One star is generous

This was definitely our worst experience at this theater. The lobby carpet needed a quick sweep to pickup popcorn and the counter wiped off around the popcorn flavor area. The bathroom was an absolute mess. Paper towels on the floor and some of the stalls were out of tissue paper.

Tiny screen that had a big gash in it, which became prevalent only after the movie started. Movie started late. No warnings given to the audience to be quiet or to stay off phones, so of course people talked and were on their phones throughout. Go to the Jubilee.

I dig this theater for Balwin County. It's never really too packed, seats aren't bad not big plush recliners like some places. I do wish they sold beer but I could just sneak in a flask I guess, I would never do such a thing??. Oh Tuesday is the best day to go by far.

I went into the movies last night and the employees on staff were very impersonal & cold. It felt as if it were because we are black. This is the only movie theater I patronize in the area, and historically haven't had an issue, but it was so evident & in our face last night, I had to review. I didn't know if it was just me but my significant other, who's pretty mellow, felt the same. I've never seen the two employees who were on duty last night before last night....Maybe train them that they're personal fe

This theater is ok. It isn't the cleanest, and wish they had more food other than nachos and a hot dog. The films here are good. Prices for treats and drinks are overpriced as with every theater. So, I say this is an average theater. Nothing stands out about it. The staff are always nice though. It is a decent theater to see movies in. I am very spoiled by Taiwan theaters though. So.....? nothing I have found in the U.S. has come close to theirs.

The seats were awesome. The concessions were highly priced but that's what you get from all movie theaters. The staff were all very nice and helpful. They were also patient when I was making up my mind on what to get. Avenger Infinity War was definitely a great experience with the big screen and not too loud speakers.

The experience was really good and the workers were nice and friendly too. Tuesday all day is 5 dollars and I'm glad they are continuing to do this feature. Popcorn and drinks are tasty too. Hope u try it out.

This is a okay spot great movies and seats but the things I didn't like was our movie glitched out a bit and they don't have many drink options or food the workers were very young and the nacho cheese dispenser was empty. But they had clean bathrooms.definitely would recommend for kids!

I have been here about 2 years ago. The theatre is still the same clean and fun atmosphere. The staff were very polite as it should be of course. Since you are in the south "Politeness at it's Best." I most definitely will return. The cashier Riley was very helpful getting my refund since I bought 2 extra tickets. She is a great asset to the company. Until next time Spanish Fort Premiere 14!!

The other day I went to the last showing of the new gotg and left my wallet. I came in the next day. They said they found it last night while cleaning and returned it. I understand they don't have any responsibility for me leaving it. Although I had a $100 bill in my wallet after it was returned I noticed it was missing and asked about it. They basically said ?tuff luck? and gave me Don Missgills email (the district manager) who repeated what the cashier said and added that they don't have cameras in the au

Decent theater and clean, but apparently no one is adjusting the projectors. The contrast was so off we couldn't see our movie and when we brought it up the staff just shrugged it off. It wasn't like this before the quarantine, so I know y'all can do better.

We just came out of Top Gun, really wanted to see the movie. Over 100 people in that theater, and everyone was pouring sweat. I look at my phone and it's 79 degrees in there. Could not even hear the movie, where it's usually blaring. After spending $70.00, I asked for a manager. A kid that looked to be like 15 at the oldest, said they have no control over the air, it's on a timer. WHAT air? Everybody wanted their money back, yet were denied. We will NEVER spend another dime in that place again. Way overpri

This is The Theater ?? to enjoy with your family and friends. They are very courteous here. The staff will go out of their way just to ensure that your visit is unforgettable. They have a concession stand packed with all your favorite snacks and goodies. It is definitely a good way to enjoy that movie that you having been waiting to see. Their premium surround sound puts you right in the middle of the action around you. The perfect stop for that rainy day when you think there is nothing to do, but there is,

Dirty, dated, but mostly just VERY dirty?

I live in Mobile, and was looking for a movie theater to carry my grandkids. This theater was absolutely the BEST! The theater was clean, comfy, and nice and cool. After the movie was over, we decided to see another one.....it was $5.00 TUESDAY! Morgan and Eli were working the popcorn area, and asked us if we wanted a refill, because we bought a large tub and 2 large drinks...combo 4 excellent price too. But, shout out to Morgan and Eli, for being so professional, and friendly. It was our first time at this

I have been to this theatre before and before quarantine. This time I had an awful experience, they are a loud buzzing noise that began about halfway into the movie and when we complained to the staff they just shrugged it off. Before quarantine this theater was not bad at all so I know they can do better than this. Not only did we not have a enjoyable time watching the movie we are now not even allowed to get refills without paying an astronomical amount of money for a medium drink. I will not be coming ba

Well it was only 1 or 2 people working at this time (6:15) they were really nice however it wasn't the cleanest theater I've been in. But the movie was great??

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful! The popcorn is great and the rooms are always clean! Plus, you can't beat the $5.50 ticket prices before 1pm! Great place to enjoy movies by yourself or with friends! The theater rooms here are much smaller than your typical AMC theaters in the surrounding areas, but honestly I prefer this theater over all the others. My family and I also watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi here on premiere night and we never felt so welcome! There were characters everywhere and a huge

Before they changed management Premiere wasn't exactly amazing (sound quality, staff etc) so I hadn't been there for a while. But out of sheer desperation I attended Premiere Cinemas and found the newer staff to be highly concerned with my every wish and were over and above in the line of helpful and gracious. They seemed chipper and friendly and willing to attend to me in a timely fashion and with an air of apologetics. The restrooms, contrary to popular belief, were immaculate despite them having a distin

Favorite movie theater in the area!

I don't go many times to the movies but every time I had gone I had visit this cinemas and I've been amazed on how nice their staff had been with me and my kids all the time. and how clean it has been the time we go. Not to mention is in a very good area in town were you can go shopping or out to eat while you wait for your movie. I truly enjoy visiting Spanish fort premier cinemas! 2 thumbs up!

Go on Tuesday. 5 dollar movie can not be beat. Staff seemed cool. Beats what Mobile has to offer.

The theater can be unclean at times. They do not offer ticket discounts. Some employees are very friendly. Parking is not close to the entrance. Wheelchair accessibility is quite a distance away form the entrance, too. They do have a variety of movies and showtimes.

Tonight I finally had the chance to spend some one-on-one time with my son at the movies. It was completely ruined by middle school and high school kids running in and out of the theater. They were talking and cursing. After the movie started, three high school age boys came in and sprayed a feces like scent in the air. I demanded a refund of our tickets and left. I will not go back to this theater until the manage makes changes about unaccompanied youth being dropped off.

They do a good job of keeping friendly faces sell you tickets and concessions. They keep the place clean and the movies are always on time. I've never had a bad experience, it's local, and the prices aren't too bad.

Staff was inattentive, popcorn was horrible tasting..leftover ? Theater lights were left on throughout the entire previews. Several patrons had to go to the front to tell the staff to lower the house lights. We viewed the movie Knives Out...which was wonderful. Theater was clean .

Children (literally) running the theater. We bought our tickets on sight early for a show that started at 7. Were told to be there by 6 to insure the 3 of us could sit together. We were not allowed into the theater until 6:40, which was 40 minutes after the previous show ended. Went for concessions twice, and spoke to the ticket counter both times on my way. Both times, I had to show my stub to get back in the movie. The kids were basically good natured, but lacking in the basic wisdom one needs to interac

As a movie buff, this was once my favorite theater in the area...RED projectors, very clean, great location, etc. Fortunately, most of that still holds true. Unfortunately, the showtimes have become dismal the last few years. Unless you want to crowd it in on a Saturday night showing, there are no late showings during the week. The last weekday showings tend to be around 7pm. By the time we're off work and had dinner it's well after 7pm. I do miss when they had ~9pm showings during the week. For that

My favorite movie theater in the area because the seats are comfortable and the matinees are reasonably priced. Concessions are pricey but I think that is at every movie theater. Restrooms are always clean. The staff is always friendly!

FRIENDLY STAFF! GREAT PLACE FOR A GROUP! We had a group of 34. We booked the group and made all reservations/plans via email with Dan L. He made everything VERY simple. Upon our arrival to the theater, the staff was very helpful and extremely efficient! They had our seats reserved, our drink orders and popcorn READY to go, and offered any other help that we needed. VERY EASY. VERY FUN. VERY RECOMMENDED!!!!

The only place I'll attend a cinema night the Eastern Shore. Staff always helpful and polite. Theater is always clean and nice.

The ONLY theater we will go to!! We have 2 kiddos so we usually go to the first movie of the day. 1. It's less expensive and 2, our kids behave better earlier in the day so we don't disturb others who are watching the movie. The people who work there always bend over backwards to help and make us feel welcome. They are great communicators with our kids, too. The refillable large popcorn and drink help out with our budget and their $1 movies in the summer are fabulous as well. This theater gets "custome

Great employees, good snacks, amazing movies to take family to. Wesley Crosby helped me with my disabled son last week and helped carry snacks to the movie we saw (I ran out of hands). Thank you for going above and beyond to make our movie wonderful

Our movie started at 10:10pm. We arrived at 10:15pm and they had already locked the doors. We attempted to get persons attention who was cleaning the front lobby to inform him of the situation. The employee looked in our direction and then continued to clean and ignored us at the door. After a few more minutes trying to get their attention we gave up. Extremely poor customer service. We will not be back.

Good theater but the last few times we've visited, someone had to go ask them to turn the lights down when the movie started. And our most recent visit, the screen didn't even come on until half way through the previews (because someone had to go ask).

By far my favorite theater in the area, but I was extremely disappointed this visit. The women's bathroom was a mess and there was only 2 stalls with toilet paper. That is not ok! I informed one of the employees that came in to sweep that there was none and she said that she had repeatedly told the manager and nothing was done about it...

Spanish Fort Premiere doesn't set itself apart in any way from other theaters, but it is a great experience. Surrounded by a plaza of stores and buried away in its own area of the plaza, the secluded theater really packs a punch for sounds quality and comfort. The seats were nice, and the picture quality for the theater is as expected. Overall, it earns 4 stars.

Outdated and uncomfortable chairs. Most theaters converted to comfortable seats decades ago. Cannot enjoy movies sitting in the seats here, unfortunately.

No MILITARY Discounts! We were very disappointed in this theater. Although the employees were very nice, they do not offer Military discounts . All other theaters in the area do offer them, as they should. Also, there was no coffee and when I paid the $3.25 for a bottled water, it was a generic brand that wasn't cold.

Love the prices compared to other theaters, in better shape then others, and staff is helpful and friendly. Lost my iPhone 6 looked everywhere no one seen it thought it was lost for good and had it completely open and asked one of the workers and he had it put up and returned it to me wish I would have gotten his name, thank God, And the young man that returned it!

Love the auditoriums and the environment as a whole, but good luck getting anyone on the phone if you have a question. Called two different times and waited through nearly five minutes of a dial tone just to get hung up on at the other end of the line. That doesn't exactly scream customer service.

Went on $5 Tuesdays. Gentleman at the counter was very friendly. My only complaint is that the movie started over 30 minutes late. Never experienced that at the movies before, but things happen. Will definitely go back however.

Every time I come here, the staff members are dry, rude and seem very indifferent about their job. The last time I came here was my very last time. The girl, never got her name, made us even more late for our movie than we already were because she accused us of not paying for our tickets even though she was the one who just sold us our tickets. Then even after showing her my bank statement on my phone proving I had bought my tickets, she continued to accuse us of not paying. So the other guy that was workin

We love this theater ??!! It's very spacious. The seats are very comfortable. Plus, it's never overly crowded. Our last movie experience was ELVIS!! WONDERFUL MOVIE!!

The theater had some popcorn on the floor still. Staff was neutral, kids. It *was* nice they gave a senior discount to other members in my group that were older but not actually seniors.

Theater #3 gave me one of the worst showings i have ever been to. The movie cut out 4 times for at least 30 seconds each time, and one time was over a minute. There is a clearly blown speaker on the right side that buzzed rather than produce any actual sound the entire movie making the characters' voices sound like they were speaking through one of those spring microphone children's toy. I realize that the issues are likely with just the one room, but it speaks heavily for the theater itself for them to sho

Very pleasant people working there. They are fast and efficient with getting our treats and movie tickets. And always let's us know which theater our movie is showing.

This is a nice place to see a movie. Although it might be smaller than some other theaters, it is comfortable. The staff is friendly, and they keep everything clean in the lobby, restrooms, and screening rooms. It's convenient to have another theater close by with showtimes that fit my schedule.

Very nice. I'm cold natured and the temp in there was perfect. The popcorn was fresh. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was efficient and respectful.

I saw Rise of Gru at Premiere after AMC was a disastrous disappointment (everything was broken, the concessions AND the screen!) and premiere was WONDERFUL. Premiere wasn't crowded, and when we went inside everyone at the counter practically gathered round to fix our order up. Everything WORKED, which is very important! We got to have coke icees, dipndots, and some good popcorn. (All broken at AMC) I used to be an AMC enjoyer but wow not after my bad experience, and now that I've been to premiere and seen h

The theater is great as always. The staff was kind and helpful.

Butter was rotten and stunk so bad?had to get staff to change it out, chairs disgusting, movie so loud we had to cover our ears and ask staff to turn down

Clean theater. Staff was polite and professional. Theater was cool and comfortable. This was not my first visit and definitely not my last.

No issues. Enjoyed the movie.

Each time we've been there, there are no less than two people constantly walking the lobby and corridor with brooms and rolling butlers, sweeping every little thing off the floor. Staff is very, very friendly. The people behind the counter were engaging and even happily listened to my 4 yr-old's rambling recant of Baymax so I could order snacks without interruption. My only complaint is that it has proven inconvenient to have to wait in the concession line to buy tickets. Christmas night, though, they did h

I have never watched a movie in this theater, but a good friend of mine will ONLY use this theater. For this friend's birthday, I decided a Premiere Cinemas Gift Card was the way to go. We live in Mobile, and I was en route to the theater when I realized they were likely "closed" (the last movie had already begun, but was still playing). I called and spoke to Asst. Manager (First name) Houston and he told me he'd leave a door unlocked so I could get in to see him at the Concession stand to purchase the gift

Seats are comfortable, having good back support and a slight reclining motion. Nice and cool, but not freezing. The service was fast and friendly. Best theater in the area.

I purchase the #1 combo lg bag of popcorn & lg drink for $11.75. I'm disable & walk with a cane, so I'm not able to carry them. My grandson & his 2 friends carry them for me to the #12 theater, which is the furtherest one. I got seated & the boys went to see another movie. That is when I fou d out that all my popcorn was all broken piece & kernals, so I was stuck with nothing but little pieces & unpopped kernels. After the movie finished I spoke with the manager & told him they shouldn't sell popcorn piece

Poor service, artsy theater in business district. Clerk up-sold large popcorn by telling us we could refill, even on the way out, then was closed when we came out. Didn't tell us 1:2 butter stations were closed. Inconvenient to go to other end of lobby. Then which machines weren't operating was not posted. So while I was waiting for kids to get back, a staff member asked if I needed help; I explained. No apology. At the same time, a woman who had been behind the counter said "oh, this butter station isn't w

Good movie theater. Comfortable seating, food options in the area are a good selection, bowling nearby, seating arrangement is great (especially with kids). Shopping area is perfect for a date night or family outing with everything in one place.

I love coming to the movies here, but, OMGOSH!.. Please do a sound check in ALL of your theaters before you play these movies for people! I absolutely did NOT get a quality movie theater experience whilst watching the new Spiderman movie. I felt like I was watching TV at home with no surround sound. I was very disappointed. Please get that checked out you guys. Thanks in advance!

Theater was extremely hot! & the Projection systems need updated! BAD. Just had to leave 10 minutes into a movie because it was like a strobe light in my peripheral vision. The whole time. It got worse when the movie started. Wasted $20 ??

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
