Music is good but they don't sanitize the skates at all. I watched the short man wt white hair literally just put them on the rack after I took them off my foot. Chairs, benches, pews, and carpet is filthy smells like urine. Bathroom stall does don't lock, sinks are outside of the bathroom.

This place is a blast! Love the environment and they have some unique concepts at the rink like seating in the middle while practicing or jamming and the rolling hills are super fun. Also we went on a Saturday evening and seen some People start a skate train, have not seen that since I was a kid! Highly recommend trying this rink out if you're in the OKC area.

Really good spot, I absolutely love the wooden floor! They also have this cool hilly section. Prices are fair. Why the 3 stars? It's entirely due to the music. Music is good, don't get me wrong. Old, but good. DJ just kept the same vibe the entire night. No fast pace songs, just slow chill music. My kids and my friends kids are regulars here they go in large groups almost every weekend if they can. It's a little pricey compared to when I remember going myself back in the day but like everything else inflation of course. It's $15 per person if you are getting rentals, they have a snack bar with pizzas that are really good they have an area where you can go sit in with tables for birthday parties, and they also have a small arcade area. Grand kids seem to love birthday parties here. Concession service is slow and pricey. They also sell a variety of trinket junk so bring some $$$ for that too.

The music was good they just did not have training skates or the handicap rails for young kids so we had a birthday party for kids under 5 and nobody got to really skate. Other than that it's a good place for grown folks.Jus my opinion

South skate was a great choice for our daughters birthday! Their equipment is well maintained! The rink was clean and well cared for, food delicious! Everyone we spoke with was respectful and pleasant! Their parties are affordable and the owner is a humble human who is their to help the kids with a safe place to be! We will be returning Thank you south skate!

One of the better Rinks in OK County. Best place to learn how to spin. The owner is a great guy. You can catch him there all the time. Getting me some new skates through him as a matter of fact. And he'll work with you.

As a parent of an 11 yr old, I am highly concerned that there was a group of girls who ganged up on and jumped an 11 year old little girl on Saturday! This is not a safe place for children. We had a great time at my granddaughters birthday party! They have the best "skating rink" pizza I've ever had. The party area was roomy and clean. The kids enjoyed skating, I thought the "Bumps" we're a fun element. The music was super good. Great for young and old.

It was great! My sister and I took the grandbabies to skate. I had a good time watching the kids and adults skate with their kids. They played good music and had games for all ages to participate in. I had fun but they could use more space for parents to sit especially if they have infants with them could possibly be dangerous if not paying attention to the skaters as they zoom in too fast. Absolutely the worst birthday party ever. They didn't give us the pizza for 2 hours or drinks. They didn't give the glow sticks that were paid for to the kids... They did an aweful job in my opinion. Will not go back

I never been there but my son has several times until I started seeing all the bad. This apparently is the spot for delinquents and young gang members. Not everyone There is up to no good. Their are good kids in the mix. But in this case, for me, the bad out weighs the good. Kids hang out in the parking lot, in the neighbor hood. If your child is vulnerable, this isn't the place to hang out and skate. Other than that, my child liked it, but he's not easily influenced.

The owner is so nice! They are the only rink that I've found that is open Wednesday and the staff is very helpful. Not the best floor I've seen but definitely not the worst or even bad. The best part is I haven't noticed the horrible skate mates so I feel safer skating there. Oh, they also have coffee (bonus after a long day)!

Went here Thursday evening with my kids and husband and the gentleman teaching how to skate was really nice and he gave the kids great tips they learned how to skate by the end of the night. I used to go here 20 years ago when I was a kid and its still the fun place for kids to hang out. Also I love this place for their affordable prices especially in times like these. Its an affordable place to go . But honestly as a parent people drop off their little kids or young teens and just leave them there like the place is a daycare. There were 2 young girls maybe 10-12 years of age that were high off of marijuana i am pregnant and all i could smell was their stintch of marijuana!!! Hadn't been here since I was a kid! This place hasn't changed a bit! Still a great place for a family outing! Only thing I could say is make the admission a little cheaper to get more people who can't afford the $10 to enter. This place is too good to limit it to families who can afford $20 to $30 or more for a night of skating!

It's not a big place but not too small either. There is a part of the floor that needs a touch up. Other than that it's not a bad place to skate.

This was the worst birthday booking experience ever they wouldn't let us in until 7 supposed to get two xl pizzas and 10 drinks but you have to wait for other parties to get their pizza first great so can we have our drinks? I've been going to Southwestern Skate for as long as I can remember. It's fun, awesome, and a safe place for kids of all ages to hang out and have fun. The workers actually pay attention to the kids and they don't allow them to leave the building until the parents come. Love this place!

This place has disrespectful kids, but I know the people who work here can't control that. The people are ghetto also but again the people who work here can't control that either. But, I we loved the music that's what we basically loved. The roller blades need a little more work though. One of the skates were chipped and old and worn out.

Ok place for the kids but ghetto kids are there who like to steal shoes! They did nothing to help my daughter and friend find their shoes when lockers are not all working. Due to company?s fault. Honestly not a bad place to skate at . But the staff is very direspectful. There is no rule that you have to be wearing skates at the game and food bar if there was it should apply to all people in the rink including staff and parents. There were some kids playing air hockey with shoes on and even some kids running around barefoot. But one of the staff got onto us for simply standing in the game area.

Always wanted to visit a rink like this and i finally have. I loved every minute of it. ONLY thing is that the flooring could use some work. I skated right into a hole and some parts gives the illusion that it's wet so you try avoiding it until you realize it not. But other than that, would definitely do again!

I like it so my grandkids can go on Fri or Sat they have security so nothing really happens as long as you pay fr a locker or things come up missing g if you don't grandkids live this place

Honestly staff is extremely rude, they kick people out for the most ridiculous reasons. I personally I'm not a great skater and I was kicked out of the food bar for not having my skates on, I understand they have a sign but not everyone can skate, and staying there 7-11 people get hungry/thirsty.but this still a fun place

Nice floor however the staff suck, bunch of kids running it. Also they play the old classic dodgeball, which is skate in a circle while the staff throw balls at your face. Music sucks, no shuffle skating, couples or notta in the 3 hrs i was there. Kinda stunk for 8 bucks. Wont go back.

Parents beware. This place doesn't know what it wants. The floor guides and announcers are very active, warning about speed and attire, not letting patrons play dodgeball (Basically, it's employee target practice) and having a Guy watching for infractions on skates in the middle of everyone. This facility is dirty---like really dirty! The staff acts like they are too busy to be bothered. The wooden floor is uneven, so even the best of skaters can easily be tripped up. Their pro shop has things listed on their website, that they do not carry in the store--and they are extremely rude when they tell you that they have to order it.
