Super fun hangout! We did not order any food, but we did come to play at the 1/2 priced arcade games. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are all half priced! Pretty much every game is 2 credits to play and they have unlimited play options as well. Our 4 year old and 18 month old had a blast playing all the games. There are a couple of entrances. Celebrated a birthday there on a Friday night and everything was perfect. Table was easy to book, food was delicious, live music was great and we had a blast playing games. Perfect place for all ages, large areas for groups, fun arcade and outdoor activities. Hard to feel cramped here and they have some fun events! Food is above your average ?fun center?, and the drinks are strong with a good variety available.

Hubby really liked his Bison burger and the side house salads are good. I thought my fettuccine in the garlic cream sauce needed both more garlic and more sauce. Beer list was more limited than we thought it would be as well.

We had our daughter's birthday party with 17 kids and 8 adults. The food is pretty decent, but It's bar food. Just know that going in. The staff is fantastic. From Brandon working the games to Ashley, organizing to Jada, who was the best server ever, we had a great time. The games were so fun, the bowling, the cornhole, the arcade. A couple other parties there and the atmosphere was fun all around. Live local band. Highly recommended.

Been to a lot of place around town and elsewhere but def recommended to friends and family. For sure need to be promoted and I like the fact that it is for both adult and kid as now I have my son with that could enjoy it too. Check it out for sure. Food is good and had a wonderful experience!

Just went in for a quick after work dinner with my wife. We walked in and went to the hostess stand which was unattended. After a few minutes I asked a waiter if we should seat ourselves. This place is awesome! Sure the price per game is a bit expensive but the prizes are good and for the most part reasonably priced. The food was great (had pizza and wings) and the kids had a blast. I was able to sit and relax while the kids rode some animal cars around. Even tried out the VR games. Those were pretty fun too. I think we found a better option than the coconut bowl in sparks.

Had a party here. It was fun except the girls who ran the bar and served us were a bit rude. We spent a good amount of money on food and drinks, yet we were treated as an annoyance. I hope management recognizes this and turns it around because it's a great place with potential.

5 stars-they're just getting going but it has so much potential. I've been looking for a good place to take the kiddos to burn of energy while I watch the ballgames and have a few brews. All the family friendly options-Connect4/Ping Pong/Cornhole-access to the outdoors as well. Great arcade too, but nice to have free options and games to play as well. I like that they have dancing events but on Tuesday 1/14 my boyfriend and I tried to go to the arcade but when we got there about 6pm they were closed. The note said they closed early for an employee holiday party. What holiday? I'm very curious. But it was frustrating and so unprofessional. Not a normal holiday and posted absolutely no where on social media or their site. The management obviously doesn't care too much about their business if they can't even make a quick post.

The only negative was trying to find it. There is a lot going on in that complex and construction that blocks the signs so I ended up parking at the sports complex instead of South 40. Had a family birthday there on Saturday great environment the food was good I like the different options. The service was great. I do think the arcade was expensive compared to other places in town some games went from 5 credits to 23 like why?! They have some cars/rides where kids get to drive they had fun. Overall a good experience.

Went for first time for sons 35th b day. Food was nothing to brag about for sure. Specifically for the price. The waitress was nice enough but that's about it.

Sunday family brunch and food was not good. Omelettes overcooked, Loco Moco no gravy, no butter for pancakes. Bacon not done. Was just there a week ago on a busy Saturday and food was great! Decided on a birthday family brunch today as it's so family friendly. Maybe the kitchen staff was short but for the price we paid won't be back to eat there.

It was good. It just wasn't great. Salmon was very good and cooked perfectly and just the right punch on the blackened season. asparagus was cooked well, but something funky with rice that came with the salmon -- Seemed like some bad boxed minute rice. Cardboard and no flavor. The steak frites was a disappointment also.

We were seated in the back, where the band was. The food was good. Nice selection, and they even have a happy hour menu. Took a REALLY long time to get our food, then it wasn't warm. Staff was courteous and helpful. Not nearly enough bartenders on staff for the large group there on a Friday night. It seemed like the bar backs were a bit unorganized, too. 1st time there, so I can't say if this is the norm, or a one off situation due to the events going on there that night.

One word...MEDIOCRE. Let me start with the first thing that is wrong with every restaurant in the area: the food has no flavor. Are people in Nevada allergic to salt? This is the coolest place EVER! We took our basketball teams and families for dinner while visiting Reno for the Jam On It annual tournament over Memorial Weekend. While they seemed to have no idea what was going on and, therefore, were quickly understaffed for the influx of visitors. They pivoted quickly and were still able to maintain excellent food, friendly service and the endless entertainment for everyone. I wish we had something like this in Oregon! We will definitely bet back!!

We decided to come eat at South 40 after my son had a basketball clinic at the swiftdome. They were busy due to a rodeo event but we were sat quickly and it looked like they had enough staff so we weren't worried. Food comes on great portions, so come hungry. The steak sandwich with fries were great. My friend's Cobb Salad was wonderful and she added steak patties as her protein option on top of it. I was very happy with the service when I came to celebrate my son?s 30th birthday party here on Jan 20th, Saturday, I had at least 20-25 guests and our server our party host Jordan did a fantastic job during our party, she was very nice and always came in to check on us and was always happy to serve us. South 40 was a cool spot. We mainly just ate in the restaurant area, but there is a whole play area for adults and kids. Bar games and recreation have to play. I didn't explore the whole area but it seemed like a cool place to hang.

I've had less institutional food in a school cafeteria. Everything we had was straight off the back of a truck and pulled from the freezer. I got fish and chips--it was literally three perfect rectangles about the size and consistency of a McDonalds hash brown. Kids got some fries with canned queso and bac-o-bits on top. Ate there the night the full kitchen opened - the food was great for the price. Quality over quantity - mid-sized portions but if you're starving just get a beer. Large wine menu, smaller but still good selection of beers. My waitress, Tori (Tory?) was extremely friendly and was eager to give a tour of the place - everything is still a work in progress but so far this place looks really promising and it's clear the people running the place take pride in working there.

First time during their soft opening with a limited menu which I believe is smart. Nice atmosphere and very nice, professional and attentive staff. Caesar salad has excellent flavor. Chicken club was tasty, easy to eat and had a soft roll. French fries were crispy and had flat salt which helps the salt stick. Buffalo chicken wings had a nice flavor. Went for the first time with my Fiance and our friends on a Friday at 6 and it was packed. The food and atmosphere were awesome albeit pretty expensive. They had a live band who was great. The only problem we ran into was a 30 minute hold for ordering food as they were packed and couldn't handle the amount of orders. Other than that we had a great time. Thanks South 40!

Honestly don't waste your time. Food was grade school quality with no flavor or care taken. "French dip sandwich" meat was flavorless with heavy mayo on the bread, was not grilled, and bland cheese melted on it. Aujus with it was also bland and watery. Salad was watery.
