Customer Reviews

This place is fantastic. Retro arcade machines, pinball machines, racing games and numerous video game consoles for a mere $10 entry for all day. They give you a band so you can leave and return if you need a break. They also have a snack bar if you need something to chow down on. The pinball machines, X-Men VS Street Fighter and Dance Dance Revolution is enough to make me want to come back and bring friends with me. Thank you so much for bringing an arcade to this area, we've been needing it.

Took my bf and my little here yesterday. There were lots of old school games and some new ones. The lighting was really cool. Gave a really chill vibe, that reminded me of my childhood. The woman running the front counter was also, very kind. We will definitely be back again.

This place is amazing! It has games for all ages, including some newer ones my daughter loved and the retro ones I played as a kid. The whole family had an absolute blast. Also, I love the flat fee structure which lets you play any game in the arcade instead of charging you per game. My daughter was begging to come back before we even got to the car. We will definitely be back!

My kids and I had a blast here for 5 hours! Perfect way to break up some summer monotony without spending a ton. $10 per person for the whole day! ?????? Will absolutely be back.

If you like old school games from the 80s and 90s then this is the place to go 10 bucks get you a few hours of free play on all of their gaming systems. Downside is all the games are second hand and some of them don't work right as they should.. all in all good place to go kill some time with the kiddos.

Wonderful arcade! Only $10 and all you can play. And you can leave and come back the same day with the wrist band. 100% recommend!

My friend had her sons 10th birthday here and they saved the day with loaning us some items we forgot in the rush of getting out the door !! The arcade is super fun they have tons of games they even have some air hockey , and if your lucky you'll get to meet boomer the falcon!! Great place for a birthday party or even just going for some fun !

This place is amazing! My 9-year old son loves it. He wants to have his birthday party here. He said, ?Mom! You have to give them 5 stars!? My husband and I loved the nostalgia of the games and watching our son play games we grew up on playing.

The expansion to the arcade is amazing. So much more space, so many more games. Living out the yesteryears with my family has been a great experience. We can spend the whole day here with no complaints. Definitely recommended.

We booked a party and got two hours in a private room and entry for 15 people for 150$ This is the best deal in town! We brought our own food, drinks, and cake. Kids had a blast! Thank you!!

Yall are wylin. This is such a dump. Most games are either broken, or the screens are shot. Its priced right at $10 but thats about it. Added: After your gaslighting response below, I've decided to go in depth. 5 of 6 pinball machines broken. Employee behind counter lacked basic knowledge of how backwards compatibility works with game consoles. Controllers for most consoles have drift on their sticks. 3 of the 4 shooting games we played had major problems including very limited range of motion and non func

Had my daughter's 8th birthday here. All the kids had a blast. They had a semi private birthday room that was great to do the cake and presents. It was very affordable and everyone got to play as much games as they want.

Took our grandson there And we all had a great time. 10.00 to play as many games as long as you want. Great value. Definitely going back

Unlike any other arcade out there! $10 gets you a bracelet thats good to come and go the entire day! Young kids are free, wear their tshirt thats only $10 on Sunday I believe and its half price for the day! Retro game paradise. Even play an original Atari, several xbox platforms, playstation, pc....pool table, air hockey, young kids area, and more. A true 5 star business. And OWNED AND OPERATED BY VETERANS!! AWESOME!

ONE OF THE BETTER ARCADES IN TOWN!!! PROS - $10 for all you can play gaming buffet! woooo! - Has a big bunch of light gun arcades unlike FlashBack RetroPub - Very family friendly! - Awesome atmosphere, the dark purple light would make some of my clothing glow like in a black light setting or one you'd find in a laser tag arena. - huge variety of game machines, except for those that use 3+ people such as those old side scrolling team brawlers. though there was an actual n64, play station, xbox, actual gami

Awesome games selection. Tons of retro and modern consoles. All ages certainly will have a blast.

My boyfriend took me here on a date and it was one of my favourite times. They have amazing games and amazing service. I would recommend coming if you haven't already.

So much fun and has all the best games from when I was younger, keeps you busy for hours and very good price. Had a great time with my teenage kids!!!

My son had his bday here and had a blast. We played for well over 2 hours and both kids and adults never got bored. Will definitely be back often.

Great price, so fun, and great customer service! They have every game you could ever want!

This place is BUSSIN'! Love taking my twin little boys here, they always like going on the toddler car and love the pinball machines! Great to have a good place as a throwback to my own childhood that I can now try and share with them once they get old enough to appreciate it! Staff always super friendly and smiling!

What an awesome place! Finally, something to do in Norman. Soonercade had such a massive selection of games, from classic fighters and racing to air hockey and Xbox. My girlfriend and I completely lost track of time in there. The best part? It's a deal! $10 to play for the ENTIRE day. You could got to lunch and come back. It's free play too. You can play whatever you want, for as long as you want. The owner was super nice too. I'm telling all my friends about this place.

Great place, I tell yeh! Great place! They give you a day pass for 10 bucks and let you play for free on, like, literally everything. No refills, no nothin'! Just a good ol' arcade.

Great games and atmosphere! We always have fun.

This was great!!! Pay a single per person price and play all you want! Loved it and WILL be back!

Had a great time. Very welcoming atmosphere. We will be back.

You can't beat $10 for all you can play. Thanks for making it affordable for kids to enjoy themselves.

The place was amazing brought back memories as a kid . I will definitely go more often . Employee was very friendly.

Stumbled upon Soonercade in Sooner Mall today. Nice people operating the place. Great selection of games. All but a few games are one price for unlimited play. Will definitely be back when time permits.

Awesome place, great customer service! We came in late in the day and she let us take a tour and play a couple games, will definitely be back when we got more time!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
