I brought my kids here and they had the time of their lives. So I bought the 1 hour which with my kids ages cost around 90$ and with the socks I bought. My kids said that it's the best park that they ever been too. So the arcade part you'd have to use more money to play arcade. There is many rooms in the back which my kids ran through playing tag which they had fun with . Adults could buy a bracket and join the fun too.
Smileys is clean and lots of fun for the whole family! We came from an hour away for my daughter?s birthday. The employees were all very helpful, and friendly. We will definitely be going back!
Me and my children love coming here after a long week to unwind. The staff is always friendly and quick, all the games are functional and fun, the prices are perfect, and the space is super clean. Im here on a Thursday @530pm and they're expecting cleaning services within an hour, so I assume that happens around the same time every week and that's great. Would always recommend and will definitely be returning.
We were on a family vacation and decided to stop at Smileys! It definitely has the right name because my kids were smiling and having a blast the whole time! The place is a lot bigger than pictures make it seem to be. There is so much to do! Kids won't get bored!
This was our first visit and it didn't start out well. The staff at the counter wasn't super helpful but I guess being teenagers we shouldn't expect much. However, the cheese bread was amazing. No place to sit and eat though. Nor any napkins for messy hands. The young man at the Dino rides was really nice. He interacted with us and my granddaughter. Overall we had a good time. Bring your own napkins and wipes.
We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and as Google mentions, it was 'as busy as it gets.' Since we had a 4-year-old and a 10-year-old with us, we had to purchase an adult pass as well. In several areas of the playset, they required a supervising adult if the sisters wanted to play together. The structure itself is massive and incredibly unique, and the kids had an absolute blast. It's a fantastic indoor play area with so much to offer!
Brought my kids to play, We had such a fantastic time at Smileys! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized. The shorter manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that lasted all day. Kids loved the different rooms, especially the sensory room. I would highly recommend!
Great place, very clean nice staff and BIG!!! Wow we were impressed. Went on a Wed AM and had the place almost to ourselves. Eat first or leave and come back. Too expensive for prepackaged foods. We had a great time.
Look for deals is expensive, great for littles don't recommend for older kids not much for them to do . Overall the kids had a great time it was clean .
It was fun but not very ?controlled?. They have sections per kids ages but older kids were running around in the toddler section. They should put staff in and around the ball pit areas to also make sure that things are being used as they should and nobody needs help or anything. Price for an hour and socks were reasonable. More crowd control would be nice. Over all my kids liked it.
My 2 year old loved it. My older kids 10-12 did not like it they were bored after 20 mins. But I got a good deal using Groupon. They have different deals for however long you'll like to stay. I did the 2 hour for 4 kids deal for $50 & got an additional discount paid around $47. The facility is nice and clean. I would take my 2 year old again.
Wonderful! Came here on a weekday. Spring break for our school district a few towns over. It was not busy at all! Clean and so many fun things to do. Purchased a groupon for an all day pass for two for under $33.
I would genuinely rate this establishment a zero if it were an option. My experiences have consistently been disappointing, particularly during visits with my family. To begin with, the pricing structure is exorbitantly high, especially considering the target age group and the limited offerings available. We found the cost to be unjustifiable for the value provided, which diminishes the overall experience. Additionally, the age restrictions for using certain facilities, such as the slides, seem overly strin
Visited with our 8yo son for his bday. Here are our takeaways: 1. ATTRACTIONS - so many to choose from!! We got the 2 hour pass and honestly did not run out of things to do nor did we get bored while there. We have a four year old who will be coming along next time and we know she will have a blast too - this place truly is fun for all ages. 2. ADD ONS - The only ?extra? thing we did was the arcade. The deals they offer on the play cards at the front desk allowed us more bang for our buck which was nice. T
We love Smileys. It is such a fun place to bring your kiddo. Takes me back to my childhood and all of the fun places that we played at. We usually go on Toddler Mondays. It is super affordable and we pretty much have the place to ourselves. Staff is always super kind and it is very clean! We had a great time and will be back again. ??
This place is great. Lots of activities and large kids play area. The general admission price isn't bad for what you get, and for extra, you can do Nerf battles or dinosaur rides and arcades. The arcade games were quite up to date, but I still believed $1.75 per game and up was a bit much. Service was friendly, and the place was kept very clean.
It Was my first time there, for my grandson's second birthday he had a ball and brought my other grandbabies with me they had a ball. overall I had a ball too I love this place All the staff members are great they will keep close eyes on your kids... they watch the kids to make sure they don't get out their site without their parents overall the staff member (Benita).. I want to give her five stars she was so awesome. and helpful!!!!
Fun place. Small. Has a few things to do. Rice room is really cool and interactive. We played for about an hour and that was enough each time.
Will never have a birthday party here again disorganized is putting it lightly. At minimum make sure I get where I need to go. Staff practically ignore you when you are standing right in front of them and they do not have an obvious task. Customer service was severely lacking. The person in the room was okay. In the end I think the kids had fun, but not worth the stress on a parent. Several kids are complaining of tailbone pain from the slides.
This was so amazing I went with my summer camp and it was the most fun I had all year 2024 baby!!
It was a really cool place! I definitely think it's more for older kids. My daughter is 2 1/2 and she was premature so she's on the smaller side. She couldn't walk through the balls so I ended up carrying her through them. The pricing for parents is slightly expensive considering my daughter spent most of the time walking around the whole place (we were there for a birthday party). My daughter was only in the infant part for about 15 minutes. BUT, the birthday girl had a BLAST. She was running around with h
Smiley's was an absolute hit for all of the children. We rented out the hero room during their soft opening. They provided pizza which was better than the standard. We had cakes. The birthday prize was a stuffy and a pass for 3 hours of free play. We had about nine kids total. The only complaint I have is that there was quite a number of upgrades for a price. We spent about $30 per person to get in and then the Dino Land was an upgrade. Or the Nerf guns were an upgrade. And even inside of the Nerf gun packa
Poor staffing for sure . I had my nephew and be was in the 6 under area, and we couldn't find him for a while . The lady knew what was going on and told me I couldn't go get him without paying just to go get him. Turns out he was on the other side of the six and under. I told her you guys need to figure something out because I'm not paying to go get him. I'm going to go in . She is chewing her gun acting like a Karen and says we'll I'm not chasing after no kids, but did I ask you too? No. She clearly saw hi
Smileys staff are so good with my kids everytime we go. Booked a party for my son?s upcoming birthday and the manager was so niceexplaiend everything in detail and made it so easy. Good job smileys in Mishawaka
Went there tonight, April 10 and was very unsatisfied with the staff, especially over behind the ball pit where the climbing walls and slide area we waited in line for 30 minutes due to employees, friends or girlfriends continually cutting in front of my five-year-old daughter, and when it finally became time, there were two male workers, trying to put a harness on my daughter and one of them look like he just smoked a bunch of weed and couldn't even figure out the harness. There were straps crossed that sh
Leah was an absolute gem! She helped us in every single way possible & made our field trip one that the kids will never forget!!! Thank you for making Smileys such a fun place to be!
Definitely over priced.. paid for two toddlers for two hrs with two adults play/supervising.. added one Dino ride and spent over $100. The Dino area seemed to be open to anyone. There were no attendants over there and people were walking in and out as they pleased.. so not sure what I paid for. Other than that it was fun, my kids loved it! Next time I will go to the Indianapolis location.. I paid less, layout is more spread out, and I can do everything for one price base price. (Other than arcade games)
This place is a sensory seeking child's dream come true! Smiley's has such a vast array of physical activities that provide sensory input, we could have spent all day here. Slides, trampolines, obstacles, spinning equipment, ball pits, a rice pit, arcade games, touch screen games, Lego and gear tables. And the price was very reasonable. We will definitely be back!
Such a great addition to the area for indoor playgrounds!!! The price isn't bad for the time given to play. Lots of unique options and the largest indoor playground I've been to in Northern Indiana. I would choose here over skyzone for sure!!
We have taken our kids here numerous times. It is a great place for them to play and the price is comparable to other indoor attractions in our area. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend Smiley's to anyone.
We went on the soft opening with a 2yr old, 4 year old, and 10 year old and every child had a blast.... including the 27 and 29 year old parents. We only paid for the play spaces but walked through and saw everything that was being offered so we are excited to try out the other sections at later times. Definitely pricey, so hopefully the membership comes with good perks. During out time there, not all of the attractions were ready, even still, the kids had fun.
It's a great place for all ages. Very spacious. Only 2 things I didn't like was the machine things that take the balls in the tubes? a lot of them didn't work. And for a party rental is 3 hours but they kick you out of the space you rent after 2 hours.
Smiley's was a fantastic time! I hosted my son's first birthday party in the forest room. This was the perfect situation, big kids could go play while the adults sat to talk, and the baby could play in the toddler pit.
Facility is beautiful and my kids loved it. I would give you guys a 5 star but I have one gripe. I'm an avid rhythm gamer and when I heard you guys had the new SMX deluxe cab I was beyond excited but my experience was less then desirable. Machine is beautiful but it's set up all wrong and needs some work. First, only 2 song play? Plz bump it up to 3-4 songs, 2 songs is just too short. 2. Machine is not connected to the Internet. SMX has an integrated mobile app that connects players to an online leaderboard
Horrible!!! Went to celebrate my son?s birthday and as we walked out, after using only 45 minutes from a two hour wrist band, he said ?mom can we please never come back here?? No organization, serious lack of workers, there's an insane up charge for every single activity. All three of our children wanted to leave from how utter crap this place was. Have your personal injury attorneys ready. Serious safety hazards. Save your money!
Had a field trip here. I'm not sure how this place would be during peak hours but was fantastic for a end of year field trip for preschool. So much to do, kids really enjoyed it. Soo many things to discover. Very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Great place for indoor entertainment! Reasonable prices for 3 hours or more of play. They're definitely still working out the logistics, but we will be back! Great place for birthday parties or to cure cabin fever.
I drove over an hour away and so happy I did! The staff was super friendly and helpful especially the managers, they both were on top of any issues I saw. You can tell they care about their staff/customers. I attended a birthday party and will be having our own soon! Love this place!
For anyone that grew up in the 80s or 90s and was lucky enough to visit Discovery Zone, Smileys is like that but even better. Great way to spend the afternoon with the family! The kids (and adults) had nothing but great experiences while visiting here for the first time today. Our kids ages range between 10 through 2 years old. They played actively for hours and had the time of their lives.
My grandson and niece had a blast and want to go back as soon as they can. I enjoyed the massage chairs while watching them play. We had a very enjoyable experience and the staff was very nice.
Everything was good until it was time to leave. We had rented a locker and for a deposit for the locker they keep your car keys. They lost our car keys, wouldn't try to find them, and the responses they just kept giving us and so rudely were "We don't have them" and treating us as we were just supposed to say "Okay, thanks" and leave. We live over an hour away. My husband and I had to beg them to look. They were finally found in with the electronic equipment for the registers where the cashier had tossed t
An incredibly fun place with a large variety of activities for the kids to get their wiggles out! The big slide in the back with the pillows was a huge hit!
I bought tickets on Groupon for our family. I went to the website to see the hours and we drove 45 minutes to get there only to find a sign on the door that said I'm sorry we are not able to use Groupon coupons due to their site being down. I own businesses so I am not na?ve to things happening. But that being said we were inconvenienced and drove all the way out there and so I asked to speak to the manager. I explained to the manager that that isn't my fault as the customer and that I'm willing to pay For
The good - Amazing place. The place is huge and there are so many things to do for kids. It' s overwhelming in a good way. Make sure you get your passes on Groupon, they are half the price. You will have to pay for the Dino area and the Nerf area separate when you get there. They just scanned the Groupon code and it worked well. My child had the time of her life. The Bad- Do not go on the weekends, it's so packed, it's insane. Make sure Nerf is open and the Dino's are working in the Dino area. This is why
Someone should have told me the slides that go with your kids one is not safe. The one at the end as you walk up the stairs is not safe the first time I slide I felt my tail bone hit the floor so hard am in alot of pain right now, no wonder they make you sign a waiver. My first experience was horrible and the arcade is very expensive if you go there plan on spending almost 80 to 100 dollars on one child. Not going there again
Such a fun place for the kids, but my goodness, please hire some friendly staff. The staff is basically a bunch of rude kids that ignore you and give you a ton of attitude for no reason. Would come here again is thr staff is changed. Especially the front desk girl. R.U.D.E. we almost just left when we got there because of the hostility right when we came in. But, the kid had fun!
I've never experienced any of the things I've read in some of the other reviews. My family has made Smiley's Mishawaka a regular place for safe, fun, friendly and a family oriented entertainment go to. I've compared the cost of Smiley's to both skyzone and kings cafe and they are very comparable if not more affordable considering they offer a wide variety of things to do. It's not just the play area they have an arcade, dino rides, nerf room and much more. I feel if people aren't looking to pay for enjoying
The girl who greeted us tonight to explain things did everything to talk us out of staying except say "no, get out". Her Caucasian attitude was honestly the worst nonchalance of genZ, so resentfully did she sell us a game card, handing it over like a wriggling worm, without a word. Even my 10 year old son said "she didn't want us to come, did she? That was a lion 'tude!" At $50 per hour for 2 kids, yeah, I do not think a return visit is warranted. Hard to imagine a worse customer experience, making the
First time there and staff was rude, paid too much for some things to not work especially in the nerf room the gun launcher was not working and I had asked the employee and all he did was shrug and said he didn't know how to turn it on. Need to work on staff?s attitudes and be more friendlier especially when it's someone?s first time there. Will not be back.
Our kids are small, so they can't utilize the entire space, but we still had an amazing time. There's a smaller ball pit with climbing area and train (you push yourself). There's a baby/toddler area that is separated from the rest of the place. Ball pit and rice pit, with an entrance that's easy to keep an eye on. You can even sit in a massage chair and watch the doorway if your kiddos are a little bigger to play by themselves. It is for sure a sensory experience! Everyone was nice enough. It's a blast. We
Kids enjoyed their time here. People were friendly.
This is the type of place you want to get locked inside over night. Whoever came up with place is awesome!!!
Enjoyed this greatly with our grand babies lots to do for all ages. Looking forward to visiting again when in town. They loved it
Fun place to go but the staff is very inattentive and off in their own world. The only staffer that was actually helping people was the gentleman running the ride on dinosaurs. He was great
Smiley's is my sons' favorite place to play no matter what season it is. They love zooming down the slide into the ball pit!
Pay 28 dollars so that my 5-year-old girl can only be allowed to play in the baby area? terrible service. And if you don't like their policies, you're also screwed because they don't make refunds. If you want your 5 year old son to play in the entire park you must pay 28 dollars more and some socks for yourself. money thieves people I don't recommend them.
It was a great play even for the adults, and the drive wasn't bad at all. Kept all of us busy for 3 - 4 hours.
Overall fun place. Arcade is pretty expensive compared to others I have been to. Groupon ticket prices are great. Didn't get to use the Nerf room this time but will definitely check it out next time. The "rice" room was so cool.
Very clean and a great place for a birthday party! The red headed manager named Lisa was so helpful and nice! Kids had a great time!
We've been here multiple times. The kiddos love it here. We just avoid it when it's busy, as it can get very crowded. Also, the slides you go down on with the sack, does in fact hurt the tail bone ??
Very coll place lots to do for the kids and adults. And staff very friendly. Lost my key in ball pit. And staff looked for 15 min till they found them. Much appresh
By far the most engaging and fun play place for children in the area! Apart from all of the awesome attractions, they offer a few themed rooms available to rent for parties and celebrations. I was told they would be adding a bar and grill also, only adding to an already awesome experience.
When you see the photos, you see a huge park, but when you pay the entrance fee, they limit your children to using only a small section of the park and your children, instead of being happy, end up very sad because they want to use the other sections of the park that they are not allowed to enter, either because of their age or because there are attractions that have an additional cost.
The staff was Great and there was plenty of ball pit and slides to keep a 10yr birthday party entertained.
Alot of great attractions here, nerf battles arcade games large slides. First time here I am very impressed. It's on the pricey end but worth it overall. Good times.
Owner must read?? this place is worth every last bit of 5 stars especially for birthdays the manager is so sweet and wonderful the birthday was literally perfect there is stuff for literally all ages! The pizza was actually so good and was a huge hit! The only problem I had was my ?party host? Patricia was absolutely rushing us literally taking the table cloth off while I'm sitting there eating being rude and interrupting my family and is conversation to mention how she wasn't even supposed to work today an
Me and my nephew and sister had a good time in the ball piss, especially the punching bag when I got on it and my sister spend me around in the trains and a big slides. I love Smileys. You guys should make more bigger stuff some more kids can have more fun. I love you guys so much you guys rock, keep doing what you're doing. I might be coming on the second weekend.
We love having this much needed indoor space!! The employees are all really friendly and the two running these climbing walls looked just as excited about my kids racing as the kids were ?? I appreciate the sandals provided to use for the bathrooms - genius! My 4 kids of all ages have so much fun every time we go and they love the sensory input and heavy work that their vestibular and proprioceptive systems need. I do wish the price was more reasonable since it typically costs our family $100+ for an hour.
Employees are rude and scary looking. One of them berated me for letting my son climb up the wall, when I immediately had him stop after the one and only time she said that wasn't allowed. Then singled him out for wearing skyzone socks instead of smileys socks and got her manager to come out and talk to me, and then we had to go buy new socks. The manager much nicer, but the employees need to check their attitude when dealing with literal children.
Quan played nerf with my son cause there were no other kids...aww my son had so much fun. And Andrew was very good at explaining the rules for the nerf area and safety goggles are a must!
Me and my kids and husband had a fantastic time here we spent 6 hours here! We had a blast
It was decent. The funnest portions of the place cost additional money.
The experience was great as far as the facilities. The employees were so busy on their cell phones and snapped at kids who wanted or needed assistance. I loved the place and the set up. We had fun, but the employees need more training and to be off their phones while working inside the structure with the kids. It was very clean!
Great facility, terrible staff. Beware you CANNOT bring cake in without renting a party toom even though this is NOT stated on their website, but posted on their doors as you walk in. Since it's newer to the area, we had never been and relied heavily on the website for details prior to arriving. It stated no outside food except for cakes and cupcakes, but failed to mention these were only allowed if you spent an additional minimum $80 for a party room. Staff were rude and confrontational, refused to acknowl
This place is awesome, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It gets a little hectic as should be expected, however the kids generally do a good job making sure other kids are having fun and able to enjoy the awesomeness of this place. My one recommendation would be to post a staff member at the bottom of carpet slide. We purchased all-day passes and went twice and both times there were kids burying themselves in the ball pit at the end of the slides.
The majority of adults in this place smelled like they just got done at a Cypress Hill concert and then took a dunk in a cologne bath. But other than that and being expensive it was a good time. The ball pit where you throw the balls at the wall is the best I want to build that for at home!
Just went for the first time today with my 2 year old son and had an amazing time. Everyone was so nice. My son had a blast throughout the whole building even with him being so young and small. They have so many things for all ages to enjoy. Will definitely be returning soon!! Thank you for such a great time Smiley!
Very very fun for kiddos, my 4 year old had a blast. However?. The prices for what is available is outrageous, I thought since I had a 5 and under child I would be considered a free adult since I'd have to watch him and keeping him out of the bigger kid area is made to be inevitable. My kiddo did end up getting bored after an hour or so from the jungle gym and we ended up spending more time in the sand and ball pit. So maybe the park is a little more designed for older kids. Arcade was enjoyable and prizes
Really fun and very nice staff! Lorenzo, who was managing the slides, was extra special and went above and beyond to connect with children and adults. Thank you for a memorable experience and checking off a bucket list item - visiting a ball pit!
We love Smiley's but would love it more if there was somewhere for parents to sit and be able to work or talk while kids play, especially for all day wristbands that's not right in the action. The booths were taken out of the upstairs and are not not for public seating, so there's nowhere to really sit if it's crowded and have a view of the facility with a little less of the main floor noise factor. Otherwise it's an incredible spot!
Great place for kids, only down fall : most parents aren't with their children in the play area for younger kids.
I took my 1.5 year old son here for the first time. We had an absolute blast. So many things for him to do and explore. However, the staff at the front desk and at the front doors are not very welcoming.. if I asked a question, their response came off annoyed or bothered that I needed assistance For example, I rented a locker and the band said locker 5 but locker 3 opened... didn't think too far into, technical errors happen, but when I left the 5 locker opened but the 3 locker has my belongings... when I
Attending my granddaughters birthday party this was loads of fun the only thing did not like was the fact I walked in with one child however I left with a completely different child. No one questioned me there is no way to check if I'm taking the correct child home with me. However everything else was amazing.
This place is HUGE. Large amounts of games and play areas. Well monitored and clean. Bathrooms on both stories. Snacks available.
We had birthday party here today and it was so easy. All the kids had plenty of things to do. Patricia made sure we had everything we needed, always checking on us. Teresa helped the kids pick out the best prizes with their tickets. The building was clean and I saw multiple staff members cleaning throughout our 3 hours there.
I love this place. My son loves it. It's literal perfection for a toddler. Sensory room in back was amazing for my neurodivergent son. This place made me cry with the level of care they put in to make sure ALL kids would feel safe and be happy here. Thank you so much.
The pricing isn't that expensive for what they have available. There's discounts to extras when you purchase wristbands and the food is good too. My daughter had a blast during the time that we were there. It's a pretty big area and she had a lot to do. They have a separate sections for Kids 5 years and younger and for kids 6 and over, so there's no worries about too many accidents. I would definitely take my daughter here over anywhere else.
This place is by far my absolute FAVORITE kids place ever! I literally cannot wait to go back! They have a room for younger kids to play and enjoy. The staff is super amazing and kind, and they were constantly wiping down areas. 100 out of 10 would recommend. Every penny is worth it!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
