Customer Reviews

Surprisingly well-stocked pinball (only) arcade. Everything from Elvira to Foo Fighters, Jurassic Park to John Wick, and plenty more. Gameplay is usually $1. Snacks and some merch are available up front. Recommended for a tactile blast from the past.

Really cool small pinball room. It's in the corner of a complex that hosts hapa brewing. Check them out while you're here for a beer before you start playing. They have your classics and some unique pinballs that I've never seen. 90% of the games are $1.00. A handful are .50 cents. They have a change machine or they exchange coins via card payment at the front.

Such an awesome place for pinball. Machines are extremely well maintained with awesome mods. Staff is super nice too. They have such an amazing choice of games that are on constant rotation as well. If you're a pinball fan in the South Bay this place is it.

As a pinball collector myself, this place is paradise. Not only do they have the latest and greatest games, most are the premium or higher versions along with the rarely seen toppers. The machines are all in perfect working condition; not even a single bulb out. One downside is that the place is physically small, but they fit in as many games as possible. Additionally, if you're a fan of the old electromechanical games you might be disappointed but I don't mind their absence.

Absolutely addicted to Game on Pinball It's a cozy place with clean, well-kept machines. The owners are nice and friendly. They have snacks and drinks. Tee-shirts are just $10 dollars Support our local small businesses

The ONLY right place to play pinball in the south bay. Machines are all in pristine condition, well adjusted, and modded to the max. No dirty or broken machines in play or cutting corners like other operators. Machines are constantly rotated with latest release as well as older classics. Owners are fellow ehtusiasts who know their stuff. And they are friendly.

So many pinball machines, pay to play per game. A little hard to find, if you don't know that the only entrance is inside the big building (if you enter Hapas, and go left, you'll find it). But totally worth it when you do!

Been here a handful of times and it is so worth it! Wonderful machines and wonderful people! Prices aren't bad at all! $1 a game with one at 50 cents and two at 75 cents.

What a super awesome place!!! And perfect location next to a brewery. Huge kudos on opening this AWESOME pinball place!!!

Really fun place to play pinball. Nice and helpful staff, great machines! Hidden gem, come out and support this business!

This place is awesome!!! 20 pinball machines that are on a constant rotation. Located next door to a brewery where you are free to bring your drinks inside to play pinball. Friendly staff, and machines are in top notch working shape. Best pinball location in San Jose..

If you live and love pinball like me, then you must visit, and continue to come back. It is coin drop, but they do provide a change machine, as well as counter service. They have some snacks, but if you need more substantial you can go next door to Hapa's brew pub and food truck, or walk to nearby food places. They have superb pins, that are well maintained and newest Sterns including LEs, Jersey Jack, Chicago Gaming, Spooky, and some great SS, usually rotating in different machines. Game On is gone. It's now Slingshot Pinball! New, clean games. Many with a 1/8" headphone jack so you can hear the game's sound effects and dialogue.

This is a fantastic place to play pinball. The machines are high-end and well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There's a brewery, ciderworks, and coffee shop in the same building, and usually a food truck out front. You can stay here all day!

Solid hole in the wall pinball spot, with quality machines, music options, and great for all ages. Definitely going to tell a friend, and head back.

Fantastic pinball stop - a must for any pinball enthusiast! All machine are in pristine condition! Most machines have the upgraded art, toys, displays, glass, and sound systems.

Great spot, for a small space of around 20 tables they have a good selection of classics and the latest releases. Games are clean and kept in good working order.

Excellent new place to play pinball! An incredible assortment of games, this place is tucked inside next to a brewhouse and a coffee roaster. Great place to hang out

They have the newest pinball machines and they are all in working order. If you like pinball I would recommend that it's worth checking out.

Very nice pinball shop! The staff is super friendly and helpful. A fun way to spend a night out!

Great games, wonderful customer service, definitely worth the drive. Sadly we live 51 miles away. We will visit again soon.

Excellent pinball selection. The staff that owns this place is great people. You won't be disappointed.

Such a cool place, will be back :)

Absolutely amazing, the games are tight even the older machines. Great atmosphere!

I hope this place gets more traction. Laid back atmosphere that's lacking in San Jose sometimes

Super nice machines and thank you to the owners for opening this up .

Just a cool little pinball place, something fun to do or explore, great staff

Loads of fun! Went on a whim and had a blast.

Excellent amount of great, well-maintained machines!

Had the opportunity to visit when I was in neighboring Santa Clara. I cannot remember being in a more clean, friendly place to play pinball. The games were in fantastic condition, even the Elvira HoH, which is notorious for having problems. The attendant even took the time to pull the glass off a machine and lift the playfield to show a young player what it looked like inside. The next time I'm in the area, I'll be there playing pinball. Can't recommend this place enough.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
