Skyline Lanes

We went on a Friday night (2 adults, 1 teenager). Less expensive than other options in town. It was full but not packed. There was only one lady working and she totally had it under control!! Kudos to her!! We had a great time!

I absolutely LOVED this bowling alley! Lane wise it needs some work, the oil patterns (what helps the ball move essentially) was WAY different then what you would find at the other local bowling alleys, but it gives the place its unique charm and challenges bowlers of any skill level. Aside from that, there was the normal problem with the pin setter (a pin was missing during one reset), it was a tad difficult to get the pins fixed after that (again being used to other bowling alleys with newer equipment) it

I'll will never step foot in the place ever again. The woman that runs the place is pretty rude. I've never gone bowling and was told by staff that a couldn't use certain balls. I was bowling with a shoulder injury and need to use a lighter ball than usual.

Clearly this place is very old and that is ok with me because the staff was kind and courteous. My only gripe is that they're missing the mark on perhaps one of the more important parts of bowling, having rental balls available. All of their bowling balls are clearly traded in previously custom cut balls. The holes are all in strange places, abnormal sizes and weights. This place is awesome!!!!!! Great for kids, retro and nostalgic. And affordable. We can actually afford to take our kids without going broke. The shoes were new and they keep kids balls separate so they are easy to find.

This place has been a favorite of my family's for years. The whole family enjoys bowling without a lot of noise and reasonable prices. The snack bar has a good variety of food and drinks. They serve several varieties of beer. They are family owned and appreciate your business.

We normally play a game and able to hang out but today October 28 we told hurry up and get done, so others can used our lane that has bumpers we were told to rush my son and his friends so others can play .. also we order food cheese sandwiches which barely had any cheese on it the fries were fresh and hot that's only good thing about tonight bowling experience

This was my first time ever going there. From the time my company and I walked in, management were on our case for whatever reason. My girlfriend walked In eating a rolls from Texas Roadhouse and was immediately approached with hostility. After 2 beers a piece, we were asked if we had a driver because ?we were drinking too much?, shortly after I was approached and was told I couldn't bowl with a certain ball due to weight. Which is fine, but still unnecessary to approach us. Lastly, the owner chased me outs

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and pretty nasty for no reason. Been in customer service a long time. No reason to assume the worst about people or assume that they know the nuances of your business. Just explain politely and don't cut people off when they are talking to you. Very disappointing, at her age she should know better and have some standards of basic civility.

Great times with family and friends And a low cost

It was very affordable and fun. Beers were $4 each, food was cheap. The lanes could use some updating because our balls kept getting stuck and would take about 5 minutes to return or 4 would return all at once. Definitely would not recommend coming to this place, especially if you have children. The workers were extremely rude as soon as we entered, making side comments every chance they got. We called before arriving telling them we had a total of 9 people, over the phone they were completely okay with that as soon as we entered they were mad because they ?didn't realize we were having a party? which was not the case at all. A Clarksville gem. Great ambiance, service, music, and food. If you haven't been, I highly recommend. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful establishment. Also a plus, the owner is a kind, lovely, hard-working human being. I will not bowl anywhere else!!

Went here for a scouting event, I was one of the 2 winners so that was pretty cool. If you are ordering food here I would highly recommend the chicken sandwich but if for multiple people the pizza is good too. The lanes are good and the staff are terrific, we had younger scouts so the ball wouldn't have enough momentum to make it to the end and the staff would balance on the rails to get it for us. 8.5/10 definitely one of the best bowling alleys in Clarksville, Tennessee .

Very retro. Odd wax patterns. I really loved the vibe and I bowled my best game there. My only complaint is that the balls I would usually use are around a 9 or 10, but I couldn't find anything below a 12 except on the women and children rack. Maybe I'm just weak idk.

Affordable place to do some bowling. The technology could do with an upgrade but not necessary for a good game of bowling. The volume and location of speakers could be adjusted. Our lane was next to a speaker and it was extremely loud, and it was on a Sunday with barely anyone there. It didn't need to be that loud. Other than that, this place is great.

I used to love bowling at Skyline Lanes when I was posted at Ft. Campbell 2012-2015. Such a cozy bowling alley with great people! I would not come to this place this place sucks We brought our grand kids who is 6 an 3 an got charged as an Adult. Then we paid for 3 games an only bowled 1 an couldn't get our money back for the other 2 games. They are very rude an I see why people are at the pinnacle. This place is awful! The bathrooms were dirty, by the time our game was over we received our food. The pizza was burnt but we took it because we waited so long and then the pizza was not cut all the way per slices, my son had to eat his hot dog on his way home because it was so long to get our food. So, I asked for a knife to cut the pizza, and she gave me a plastic knife. I had to remind them of our drinks as well. Horrible don't go, go to Pinnacle! I really did want to even give them a one star!

Very awesome couple who own it! Very pleased with our visit. We will definitely be coming back to this lovely place! I hadn't found a place to enjoy my favorite hobby! Turned around and left as soon as we walked in. We had our 3 kids with us and they were blasting rap music w the bass so loud it was like being inside of the speakers. It was vibrating the empty candy dispensers. Seen another large family turn around and leave right after us. It's ok if that's the vibe your going for but it's def. Not a "barn" atmosphere.

Honestly just disappointed. We go there all the time because it's not as packed as the pinnacle. However because they were having a slow night they decided to close early and not let us purchase a game. We got there at 8 and they close at 10. It is family owned now. A family purchased it to protect the memory. Atmosphere feels like home. Concessions are delicious. I will be using their services again.

This was a super cheap, super friendly place. I have just moved here and went out with a friend here. The staff was all friendly, and for two to bowl, plus a pair of socks was $8 on a Sunday. We took our time bowling, then played a few arcade games (really old school) and ski hockey! As we left we got a friendly goodbye from the league bowlers, would recommend for a cheap fun night!

Pretty good place, they have a lot of lanes, and I mean it's hard to go wrong with bowling. I actually went for the pool tables, games are $0.50 each, and the tables are first come first served. They provide cues and chalk, and the tables are coin operated, so all I'd recommend you bring bringing is your own quarters. This place is pretty neat. Very old building which made it pretty neat. Not to mention the pricing is great! Where I live for a family of 5 you easily spend $200 unless you get a Groupon. We spent way less than half of that.

Very poor service!!! Employees snatched bowling balls from someone in my party?s hand. Claiming those balls were not allowed to be used but nowhere was it posted that they were off limits. Yeah I may be a little old but these guys have been in business forever and I can't tell why, they are really nice people and they have great service, they always pay attention pay attention. If something goes wrong they are waiting to solve the problem. I will definitely be returning to this place every time I need a few good bowling frames. Had a run in with the owner that was not only passive aggressive, but unprofessional and extremely off putting. By his attitude he got what he wanted. Not only did he run me off as was his intention, he also forever lost my business.

Wasn't supposed to close until 10PM but because they were slow, they closed early. Also, they are the same price as Pinnacle except both the inside and outside of Skyline was ghetto and deteriorating where as Pinnacle is updated and inviting. There was also a creepy guy sitting outside in the little wooden like jail off to the side of the building greeting people. 20/10 would not visit again.

Very nice staff. The ball return kept malfunctioning which messed up the scoring. I can imagine leagues would have a big problem with that, I did; it took the compeditiveness away from a friendly game

While yes the building is older & it is most definitely a old school atmosphere, for the price you cannot complain. My wife & I have been many times & never encountered rude or mean staff. Quite a few leagues bowl here & have said nothing bad about the lanes. Considering joining a league at this establishment myself!

Great place to bowl. There are lots of open lanes and the atmosphere is relaxing. They have a nice snack bar. Very friendly staff that goes out of their way to help if you have any problems on the lanes.

The place isn't well kept up. The lanes are severely dented and worn. The balls have severe pitting. I would bowl straight and the ball would veer to one side. The kitchen didn't start cooking my food until I came back and checked 10 minutes later. And lastly it's very hot while bowling. Cheap but I don't find it worth it

We recently visit bowling alley that has been around since the 1950s! Although it is not modernized it is truly nostalgic and like taking a step back in time! The people that own and work at the place are very friendly and super helpful! We enjoyed our visit!

I wish I could give it no stars. Waterlogged pins from the flood move like concrete-I feel sorry for the workers and patrons. Torn seats from the 50's- small dank seedy atmosphere. Please bulldoze this and make better use of that real estate because this is not a business it must be a front for something else going on upstairs. I could not find a ball that was the proper weight for me. All the balls had incredibly small holes or the holes were too far apart. I couldn't play without hurting my fingers, left after just one game.

This place is the worst bowlingalley I have ever been to. It is falling apart. Customer service is horrendous and the Lane kept getting stuck and turning off on us. There were no bumpers for my kids and barely a ramp for them. I will never be going there again. The bathrooms were horrible and everything is out of date. Only have music if you pay for it.
