Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Reviews Summary

Sky Zone South Plainfield receives mixed reviews. Many praise the fun atmosphere, friendly staff (especially for parties), and cleanliness. Positive experiences highlight great birthday parties with attentive hosts and happy kids. However, significant complaints include unexpected membership charges, poor management, overpriced/low-quality food, and closures of key attractions without notice or refunds. Some criticize staff for being unhelpful or inflexible with rules. While many enjoy the activities, recurring issues with billing transparency, customer service, and value for money detract from the experience.

Customer Reviews

Very clean and well kept place. Kids had lots of fun. Just a bit too pricey at $40 a person. $15 is more reasonable.

Olivia was our host for my daughter?s party, and she did an amazing job! She was incredibly attentive, super helpful, and consistently checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Her dedication and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable

Was pleasantly surprised, I attended a birthday party with my daughter. The girl at the front was very helpful in getting us parents jump time also. The staff was super nice to us. we had a blast. The bathrooms were very clean, did not mind walking around in the socks. Even the food area was clean even though it was really busy. I think we had more fun than the kids.I would recommend this for a fun time out.

We had a great time at Sky Zone! The staff was absolutely amazing?super attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about the kids? experience. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and having fun. However, there is a huge pothole at the back of the parking lot while exiting. For how much they charge, they definitely make enough to fix it! It's a safety hazard and really needs to be addressed. Overall, the experience inside was fantastic thanks to the awesome staff, but they should definitely

March 8th we had our son?s birthday party. From the first day I went to do the booking I had good experience. Manger helped me do the booking explained everything. Week of the party called and confirmed. Ive was our host. provided exceptional service. She is very professional and knowledgeable too. Place was clean. Time management was good . I didn't remember the name of the girl in the counter who helped me checked in for the party. She answered all my questions and helpful. Everyone I interacted very plea

I had my daughter 10th bday party on Saturday and my daughter loved it Alex was wonderful host!! She's decorated the room so beautiful and it was perfect she's know what she's doing wen it come to hosting and decoration the room will definitely be back and I'm hoping Alex is my host again if not I will ask for her

I was actually a bit disappointed. Paid for the larger package didn't get the room until the last 45 mins and my parents were scattered . Was asked to leave tip upfront before even meeting host. Was given the wrong info multiple times . Never got party announced kids just ran and I had to gather. ?Platters ? were just regular size plates - I was told it would feed 6-8 no way . Wouldn't book again . Urban air organizer better .

We had a blast at Sky Zone! It's the perfect spot for both kids and adults to jump, play, and burn off some energy. The trampoline areas were super fun and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The foam pit, dodgeball area, and wall-to-wall trampolines kept everyone entertained for hours. Everything felt clean and safe, which gave us peace of mind. It's a great place for fun!

We celebrated our kid?s birthday here. Although bit expensive, kids had tons of fun ??. Staff were very friendly, party host was great. In house pizza was not great for the money we paid, but other rides and stuff was good. Kids can play video games after party ??

This place traps you into a monthly membership even though I only agreed to buy two day passes. As of today, I have been charged the price of two basic memberships for the past three months. Staff and managers have no answer as to why I am being charged. They don't know how to do their job or answer for any mistakes they make. Don't waste your time and energy asking for answers. Never come here.

Had a birthday party for my kids, and it was amazing. We brought decorations and extra food, which I was expecting to set up, but Olivia took care of absolutely everything. She really went above and beyond to make sure my kids and their friends had an amazing time and that I could spend time with them instead of setting up a party. I really can't speak highly enough of her, even the guests were commenting that she went above and beyond. Matt at the front desk was also incredibly helpful with everything. Jus

Do not waste your time or money here. They talk you into a membership and when you cancel it's not reflected on their end so they can charge your card. And their membership department is rude and no help. They will not refund you. As a first time customer I will never bring my child back here. And I will make sure to tell everyone know, don't bring your child here or host a party with them. Take your kids to any other place there's rock n air in East Brunswick or urban air in milltown.

I booked a private room for my sons birthday party, but I was given an open-air room instead. The pizzas were delicious, though, and personal was very helpful. But I will avoid booking parties at this place going forward.

Ramil was our party host and he was Excellent!! He anticipated our needs. He took the time to disinfect the tables when we got there, wipe everything down, left hand sanitizers on the tables, etc. He was polite, efficient and really good with the little ones. My daughter had a great time with her friends. The only thing that I am very displeased about is how can this place have working water fountains when we are In the miths of an on going transforming virus/ pandemic. Obviously, you are not checking for t

Nice ambience. My daughter really liked it. I wish they could designate one area only for Kids below age 6 yrs. They have leapers but only Saturday that too in morning. Rest all good.

Worst customer service. I took my family and friends for a one time visit. For some reason they enrolled me into a membership and charged $224 dollars the following month. I called the same day multiple times to get a refund they always told me that they had no permission to give me a refund. Please read the agreement carefully while you're buying the tickets. Unsatisfactory

My son did have another pair of socks, trampoline socks no logo on it. They made me buy another pair, ohhhhh they have to be SKy Line or they will not work!!!! This is like every time you come pay 6$ socks, reallyyyyyyy! I wouldn't make it such a big deal!

if these people trapped you converting one time ticket into signing 3 month contracts be aware they will continue charging you whether you visit location or not. their membership cannot be cancelled using website as well. i tried website as well my membership was not even showing up in website but was getting charged without issues. remember i signed up only 3 months and was getting charged for year and half.

This place tricks you into paying for a monthly membership even if you only wanted to purchase a day pass. I called the manager to question that recurrent charges on my account, and she had no answers for me. Customer service is very poor and staff are even more useless. Don't waste your time or money here.

Do not give debit or credit card to this sky zone location . They try to get you for discount prices but then sign you up for mth charges without Consent . I asked repeatedly to make sure I would not be charged mthly or more then once and employee Reassured me, I would not be charged more than once. Me and my family would NEVER go here again !!

Very nice place EXTREMELY friendly staff. I took my kids there yesterday and they had a lot of fun. I signed up for the whole month.

I came to SkyZone with my brother, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. An employee named Brie was extremely rude, she made nasty comments to my face and had a condescending attitude toward my brother. It was uncalled for and made the visit uncomfortable. I was expecting a fun and welcoming environment, but the poor customer service really took away from the experience.

We went for a birthday party and had a blast!!

Update: The management team contacted me within a couple of hours after posting the review below promising to resolve quickly. The team responded to an email I sent to south_plainfield_piscataway_membership@skyzone.com and our issue was resolved within a day. This is great customer service and I updated my rating to 4 stars. The trampoline park itself is quite fun. The reason to dock a star is the indirect method to address cancelation requests while any SkyZone team member should be able to clearly explain

This location is lit. My son love going to Sky Zone. All the team members are phenomenal, super helpful, go above and beyond to take care of jumpers. I wish I can name person particularly but everyone is awesome.

Fun place but lost 2 pairs of shoes. Of course there are lockers available but plenty of racks for jackets and shoes. Took a locker for purses, keys phones but didn't realize someone could steal shoes that 2 pairs which leads me to believe it's not an accident and definitely not acceptable. Very shocked that in less than 15 minutes we lost 1 adult pair and 1 kids pair of shoes. Otherwise place is lots of fun for adults and kids. Some kind of accountability from management would be better to retain customers

I recently had a party at Sky Zone, and it felt like a last-resort option due to the poor experience. Half the attractions were closed off because of a medical emergency until EMS cleared the area, and even then, 2 out of 3 of the main attractions were still permanently closed. With only an hour of jump time, any interruption really takes away from the experience. To make matters worse, they cut the kids? wristbands off as soon as they entered the party room, which felt very tacky. The kids lost valuable j

Nothing works ?closed for maintenance? it's been months nothing for smaller children to do just for basketball or jumping stagnant pretty much worst part I pay monthly for this ??

What a great thing to do on a rainy Saturday! Everyone had fun and got exercise. The staff were professional and the line, although long, moved right along. About 10 before the jump time ended a promotion was announced to add a half hour for only $5. I had thought about giving an extra hr. And inquired about that but it would have been $10 so since I have four children to pay for just went with the extra half hour. Well worth an extra $20 :)

Horrible customer service. I took my daughter and her friend for a 1 time visit. For some reason they enrolled me into a membership and charged me $93 dollars the following month. I explained that it was cancelled and it's really not in a my budget to pay $93 a month for a one time visit. I called multiple times to get a refund they always told me that they had no permission to give me a refund. I had to email corporate and they got back to me 2 days later saying that they won't give me a refund. All of thi

It's a very good place for kids. They have a huge parking lot.Nice and quite.Reasonable prices as well.Employees are very nice and friendly.Highly recommend it.

Short lines... would have filled waivers at home to save time. Wear socks if your a parent and not jumping to watch kids jump. 75 cents to rent a locker to store shoes and jackets but not a must. 2 Large jump areas and dodgeball area and foam area. Need snack menu posted with prices and have food ready for hungry kids. Nice size place... enjoy!!

Not alot of seating areas. Alot of activities and jumping sections for the kids, masage chairs $5 for 18 min. And an arcade. Hat my sons 6th birthday here it was good but the waiting before we could set up was annoying.

I come here consistently with my son as we have a membership and every time I ask myself why this place is overpriced. The service is terrible. They always change their rules. It's a waste of time. Everything here is about the parties. They don't really care about anything else. I even was approached one time by a staff because I had fallen down and didn't get up quick enough if you can go to somewhere else go there but don't go here

We recently visited this location a second time specifically for the Sky Tower and stunt areas, only to find out after paying full price that both were closed. There were no signs at the entrance to indicate this, and no one at the counter mentioned the closures before we bought our entry. We were really looking forward to those , so it was frustrating to discover that my kids two favorite areas and the reason we come were closed after we'd already paid. Charging full price despite major sections being clo

The facility is big and spacious. We had our son birthday party here but would not recommend anybody to do party here for following reasons: 1. Floor Manager was not at all accommodating and helpful. Zero experience on handling clients. Party welcome team didnt even give any information to guest on where to put shoes and jacket bcoz of lot of party booked. 2. On the website in any of the packages it doesn't say that you just get assigned place for food after jumping only. Manager prints F&Q and shows us. Th

Avoid Sky Zone South Plainfield! Here is why: - limited offerings compared to other sky zones despite a lot of unused space (see photos) - no obstacle course - no curved wall where kids can run up a ramp that slopes until vertical (standard feature at all other sky zones I have been to) - some stuff members seem self absorbed, rude, and make an effort to be as unhelpful, unfriendly, and obstructionist as humanly possible. As other parents have observed in their reviews, there seems to be a definite bias

Clean, fun and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the membership for the summer months.

Recently reopened, Sky Zone has been taking extra precautions to ensure everyone is safer such as enforcing mask use and private parties and disinfecting zones. Had so much of a good time that my age caught up to me and I'm feeling sore throughout parts of my body. Although some reviewers have complained about ticket prices per hour, we managed to find some promo codes and made it incredibly cheap for the amount of fun (and exercise) we had.

Horrible, Me and my family went here to have a one time visit and they tricked me into purchasing a membership, and then they charged me $110 the following month, it was just for one visit, not to keep going their again.

Excellent ?? place for kids!! Lots of fun!! Great atmosphere!! Friendly staff ??!!!

Was very nicely treated during Covid. I opted for the mini private play w my family. Just us and the staff. They have been cleaning the facility well. Use of masks enforced. Thank you for a safe option during the pandemic

Perfect for kids who just want to jump around and have a good time. There are a few jump parks around, but by far this is the cleanest with a staff that is very attentive. Great for birthday parties and I'm most pleased that they have a chill zone for parents where they have an option to pay for a massage from a chair...$5 for 15 mins.

Great place for kids lots of trampolines different activities while jumping and even adults can have fun too, there are gamings arcade, stuff kind and friendly too

Really nice place for kids. Look out for group on coupons. Very very good place to pass time with kids. Food is not that good and is expensive. Amazing fun. Will go again.

I was very disappointed with the service. The staff are nearly non-existence and they seem not to be motivated. Some seemed disinterested, the place should be fun for the kids and for sure kids are trying to have fun in spite of seemingly disinterested staff. If only the staff would be more engaged the place has lots to offer. Would be very hard to go back!!

5 years ago I gave this place a rave review. However, when I see disgustingly immoral and pure greed like shutting off the water fountain so you can sell bottled water make me realize what's wrong with America today. Disgraceful. I hope Jesus or whatever God you pray to punishes you for this. See attached picture. And dont try to pretend its OOO or because of Covid. You could replace it with a bottle filler like every school in NJ.

My boys love this place! We have thrown birthday parties here & have also been guests to others birthday parties. My kids don't get tired of coming here. Great place to tire them out & keep them active.

Great time, our little one loved it. Make sure to try the bounce house with the basketball court.

Charged me 137 bucks for a membership every month that I have not even signed up for!!!

Great place to let kids have fun. Be sure to check on their membership plans if you plan to visit more than once a month!

Terrible experience. 9 year old birthday party, more than half of the sections were closed. 1 person working everything. Kids were so bored doing the same thing over and over. They shorted us a pizza. Reached out after to find out why everything was closed and why only one person was working, received 0 response. The parties aren't cheap so spend your money elsewhere. This place was the worst party we've ever had.

4 out of 9 of the attractions were closed, still wanted to charge full price didn't know this till after I paid. That 4 were closed, and was told I can't get my money back. Bottled water 9 dollars for 2, bring you own water. This place is a joke to charge full regularly operating price when 4 of them were closed. The orange slide was closed cause no lubricant to put on it, come cooperate get on the ball. It's been closed for 2 days!!! Unacceptable this is a cooperation and you have no lube!! that's a joke

Excellent experience at SkyZone from soup to nuts! Booking was easy and so was making changes. Olivia, our party hostess was brilliant, kind and helpful! Everyone made the experience so easy! We hired Spider-Man through Rent Party Characters.com! He was A-MAZING! It would be great if we could have gotten Rent Party Characters through Sky Zone - it would have made the process that much more streamlined and efficient. Hopefully they partner up soon!

Yesterday at my son's birthday party I brought in homemade cupcakes and was promptly told by the manager and staff that not only could I not serve them at my child's party but that they needed to be removed from the building because they posed a "health hazard". I make excellent food for my family and friends and did not appreciate being insulated in this way, especially after booking $700 party with them. During two telephone conversations this week with a Sky Zone representative, I was informed that no ou

We had come here before and my kids loved it. We came today for my youngest 's birthday. And the sky tower is closed, and the parkour area is changed to a dodgeball court. Now they have 3 dodgeball courts! All the stuff my kids loved is not accessible or gone. I'm glad I didn't boom a party and spend $500 for dodgeball! It's garbage that none of this was mentioned when paying for today's jump tickets. Glad I didn't buy a membership. It's not worth it. Won't be coming back for sure.

The Manager Matt was a disgrace for any company to have him work at any company. We booked a party and were told we could bring drinks so we bought small water bottles and some chips we were charged 150.0p for bringing g outside food. Mind you we bought from them 10 pizza pies. Service was horrible they run business on young teenagers never did I see an actual adult supervisor the Manager must be 18 or 19 with no kind of professional attitude. They lost a Customer who would visit with kids often. Do not boo

My son loves going to sky zone with friends and it's always nice and clean at the South Plainfield location. There's tons of room for all size groups without feeling crowded. So many activities to do there too. You could easily spend 4 hrs without notice. My only complaint would be the younger staff doesn't seem to show the same concern for the safety of the littles as a parent would. So just be mindful of any larger rambunctious children.

Facility is very clean and workers are very considerate and helpful (especially Mary!)

Since is not possible for me to respond directly to the poor answer I received from the ?owner?, im going to edit my original review in response. Before replying to all your business bad reviews be sure to ask your poorly trained staff, check your cameras or business system. We did had a waiver completed for my one year old meaning he was allowed to be there I was just not going to pay for a glow night or however you call it and buy shirt and socks that did not fit just for him to be walking around not even

The kids had a lot of fun at our scheduled bday today! Our host, Gia, was very friendly and patient with all of our requests. We also want to thank the party manager, Olivia, for helping us through the entire process and for answering all of our painstakingly specific questions. She made this fun party possible (she was also right about the jumping? those kids could jump for hours and never get bored lol)! We even visited a day before the party and Olivia walked us through the entire party timeline with a s

The worst customer service call no one answer always a message and they charge my card. Charging my card with no sign up membership

Socks are $6 and a 90 min session costs $30?good for kids age 7 - 12

Fun for the kids. Nice, clean environment. Staff are really friendly. A little friendlier than I'm used to. Overall, great day out.

Fun place for kids to get alot of energy out on cold or rainy days. My son loves the trampoline dodge ball. Service and food for birthday parties is not that good.

Excellent time had by everyone!! It is fun for all ages & one of the best ways to get some "unexpected" exercise!! ????

Horrible party package! Apparently in June they changed it to whereas for the first two hours of your party you have no party room. So the parents are just sitting in the middle while people are running around crazy. Then you have your room for only 1 hour! Never again!

Awesome place for the kids to burn off some energy...we been members for the last few years, staff is always there to fix any issues with equipment

First off, I review for adults. As I was told, they can't sell pizza because they are out of dough. Then why advertise it on your screen that you can easily update? How long are we gonna accept this from so-called business people?

Manager and General manager have absolutely no situational awareness. They make exceptions when and for who they feel like making them for when it comes to jump reservation's? I had family drive 45 mins and because they purchase their tickets a few mins later, their jump reservation was pushed back? I also arrived yesterday early for my reservation and no one batted an eye and allowed our entry to the facility.. after explaining to the managers our situation they had zero empathy and could not explain why t

We have been to many trampoline parks, but this is our favorite. The layout is great. It is spacious and clean. They have different areas for people to sit including the "chill zone" with couches. We had a birthday here and the staff is so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. I had an issue with the start time of our party and the manager was so accommodating and helpful. We had Jonathan helping with our party and he was great. I would highly recommend going and seeing for yourself.

Good place to bring kids to have fun and get great exercise.

went to birthday party there. she had fun but when her socks got wet and throw it in garbage and asked for another socks. They are like you will need to pay 6$ for sock. asking for proof that i have threw the socks. amazing reply you guys want us to hold dirty socks which got wet in bathroom and show it to you as proof.

They sell the summer pass and then 3 attractions have been closed for months. The warped wall and drop zone have been ?broken? and they said the parkour area is permanently closed. Definitely not worth the money when half of the attractions are closed. Doesn't look like they are in a rush to get anything fixed.

I've been coming here with my 2 kids for at least 5 years. This place is super fun and affordable. Would recommend for kids 7 and up.

The place is small for the money they have charged. Staff is not friendly, specially the manager is very rude. Also they are short of staff to provide guidance on their policies and to support kids. Wasted my money and time

Great trampoline park. Nice place. Clean. Food way over priced. My opinion worst than Jersey Shore for quality. Also don't use lockers. Someone got into mine and removed our stuff and put there's. When I complained. I was told upper management doe?s nothing about it. Don't have cameras or security. Thank god our stuff was not stolen.

we had a birthday party here. The place is good just for jumping and having fun but disorganized when it comes to the party room. We had one host to help with the food, drinks, decorations, and everything else. Not enough!!! We constantly were running out of drinks and had to find the host to get more drinks. The cups were way too small. They did not have any utensils for the food. I guess we were expected to use our hands and scoop out the French fries and the samosas?? we had to ask for things to be done

3 out of 4 of the special areas or attractions are closed. This place is under new management and they are clearly cutting costs and not maintaining the place well. If you want an ice cream you have to wait in the main line where they are selling memberships and signing waivers which takes a long time and is always backed up. The onsite manager was a teenager. Go to a different trampoline park where ownership cares.

I did my son?s birthday here. On weekdays, they allow a party of small group(minimum 5). I had a party room but no party host. The room had everything, plates glass, spoons, napkins, tape, scissors. Their pizza tasted great and was a nice thin crust pizza. You could bring your own cake and cookies. My son and his friends enjoyed an hour of jumping, followed by 45 min in party room. Overall, I was very satisfied with Skyzone and its staff! Thank you

Come here often with the kids and the staff is always friendly, professional and understanding. Olivia and Johnathan were great hosts for my daughters birthday party. I recommend this location to everyone!!!

This place is a train wreck. Second year in a row we have held our sons birthday party here and somehow each year seems worse. The place is run by teenagers who don't know or care what they're doing with no oversight. This year they lost our party reservation and didn't even seem to care. Even after I asked to speak to a manager they came out for about 60 seconds before ditching us again so we could wait to get checked in late for our own birthday party even though they made the mistake. They are always und

Not the best experience. No cubbies for coats or shoes. No easy place to change into the trampoline socks. You should your own jumping socks unless you want to pay $7.50 for one pair. Not much variety for $29.99 admission. Just regular trampolines, a few basketball hoops, one small tower, and two big slides. I have been to a few adventure parks in the area. You can do better than this place for the price.

It is not worth throwing your kids party here at all. They pretend to be full service but it's only to fully rip you off. They insist you pay for their over priced jail food and don't allow any kind of outside food. What they call a pie is a school elios rectangle they cut in 8 slices for 21$ , $70 for a pack of knock off Hawaiian buns with knock off steakums. The ?hosts? they give you are only there to make you and your guests feel rushed and uncomfortable and they charge you for more than your child?s gue

We had a birthday party there on 27 th Aug 2023.we don't like arrangements there for birthday party. There was nothing special of birthday boy only one helper was there to help us so it was too slow. No birthday songs for kid. When we booked party package they told us it was for 10 kids but after party they told us package was for 5 kids only and they charged us for remaining 5 kids. So it was lot of confusion. We never recommend anyone to celebrate birthday there. Food was cold and delayed in serving the f

Excellent place for kid parties and adult change of activity. Various areas to bounce, lounge or just plain hung with your crowd

I celebrated my kid's birthday and it's ok but they need to improve few areas. Prons: Good for kids playing area. Cons: 1. decoration issue 2. Food issues 3. Time management issues 4. Coordination issues.

So I purchased an ALL day pass and socks for my grandchildren. Paid a pretty penny, only for my GPS to send me to a Skyzone in Hamilton as opposed to the plainfield location. Upon my arrival I was told that I was at the wrong location. Needless to say I called the Plainfield location only to be told by Collin " too bad so sad ". Not only did the Hamilton location sympathize with the situation. They went above and beyond to make me ensure that I book all future parties there! Good customer service en

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
