We had our daughter's 9 year old birthday party here June 2025 and it was an amazing experience. I would recommend reserving the earlier time (11-1) for younger kids- the environment was very chill and it was easy to keep track of all the kids. Our party guide was fantastic- she was present and ensured we had everything we needed. She was great with the kids and made the birthday girl feel so special. It had been years since I went here. Attended a kids birthday party. Nice venue for the party. It looks a little dated. Prices for drink and snack are a bit high. I may attend an open skate to see how that is.

My daughter wanted a neon glow in the dark themed 13th birthday. Skatezone happened to have that theme going on so I booked a party. It was PERFECT. We had a good experience for my daughter?s birthday. The table we reserved was already set up when we got there. Our host was Kyah. She was incredible! She promptly went over the itinerary to ensure we stayed on track to get the most out of the birthday package. She listened attentively to what we wanted to prioritize, & she checked on us periodically. She was welcoming, helpful, friendly, kind, attentive, & efficient! We had a FANTASTIC experience hosting a private birthday party at Skate Zone 71! Our daughter and her friends loved every moment and had so much fun. The staff was phenomenal from start to finish. Really nice facility, floor, and layout. Never seen a floor that had a walled off center section before. My only complaint is people going the wrong direction and stopping in the middle of the floor. I get there are different styles and cultures when it comes to skating, but I think one thing we can all agree on is going in the same direction is just better for everyone. The place is great, they check every pair of skates to make sure they roll perfectly if you're renting. The floors are some of the smoothest I've been on. Great for skate dancing and they have nice big turns for speeding around. The music is super loud though, so just maybe bring something to cover your ears a bit if you're sensitive.

My 10 year old had her birthday party here and everyone had a blast. Melanie was the perfect host and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. Lots of girls told their parents they wanted to have their party here when they got picked up.

My daughter is home for spring break and she suggested we try roller skating. It's been almost 30 years since I've been, but we had so much fun! The staff is friendly, the rink is clean, and we will definitely be back!!

My family and I went skating on Sunday from 4-7. It's been almost 20 years since I've been there. We had so much fun that we skated the entire time and did line dancing at the end. Mr. James was delightful in that he showed me how to use the corner apparatus so I wouldn't fall??. My family and I have committed to going skating every two weeks! We just had my son's birthday party here today and it was fantastic! We'd never been before so we hoped for the best! We've had A LOT of kid parties at the typical places - trampoline parks, bowling alleys, arcades etc and never had the service we had today! Kyah and Melani were our hosts and they were amazing! Friendly, fun, well organized - they took care of everything. The DJ was great too. Highly recommend!

We had a double birthday party for our 10 and 6 year olds. The event coordinator Jennifer was very helpful in answering all of my questions and flexible when I needed changes. On the day of, our party host Alona was extremely attentive and kind! She handled everything and kept me updated on the schedule and what was to come next. I was able to just focus on making sure my kids and their friends were having a great time which they did. The dj was also great. Thank you for an easy and enjoyable party!

This skating rink is a lot of fun. We went on a Thursday night which was $20 which included all you can eat pizza. The pizza was pretty good for a skating rink, but it really wasn't all you can eat because they barely made any. The rink is a nice size and they have good music playing, they have a small inside rink for kids and they have little assistant bars for kids to skate which seemed to be pretty effective. This place is a blast for kids and their parents. They would get five stars if they did a better job of stopping the older kids from misbehaving. Prices are what one would expect, a good value with today's economy, but nothing to write home about.

We had so much fun here! They had quads and in-lines available, which is great since my in-lines busted and my quads are still in a box somewhere from moving. They'll let you swap them out, too, if you love both and can't decide. There were people of all skill levels having a great time, and if you don't skate at all there are other things to do. My group skated and played Lazer tag, and it was a blast! I forgot how much I love skating, and will be back.

I've been here a few times, and I always have a great time. While the rink is a bit small and can get crowded at times, the floor quality, the people, the music, the DJ, and the overall vibe make up for it. I'm giving it a 4 just for the size?other than that, the place is really good!

This is the instructor that went out of her way to ignore me today when I showed up for lessons. I called at her and waved at her for a good 10 minutes attempting to get attention while she looked directly at me wearing a bright red hoodie and did her best to pretend she didn't see me. I can only imagine why she desperately wanted to pretend I didn't exist lol. Either way I left before the lesson started ???????

We were part of a birthday party. The staff did an excellent job managing multiple parties and making sure everyone knew where to be at all times (skating, laser tag, pizza, etc.) Kids had fun ? it's retro and old school! They also have a small arcade area available! One tip ? if you need a ?gate? to help skate, get it right when you arrive or they may run out.

I had a skate birthday party for my daughter who was turning 9. My daughter and friends had a great time. Our host, Alona, was wonderful! She was great with communicating with us every step of the way. Alona made the party easy to enjoy as the parent. We would highly recommend hosting another birthday party, especially with Alona as the host!

Recently had my son?s birthday here January 19. It was his first time skating as well as his father?s and they loved it. The party was a blast TeTe our host was great. We have no complaints. Thank you for going above the yard for my son?s fourth birthday party.

Here for the the Icy Hot Skate Jam. 3 days of skating fun! The rink is huge. Very nice skating surface. I loved having the walled area on the center. It made it great to practice moves or just chill, without the skaters cutting through. Loved the lighting and sound system. Took the kids here for skate lessons. This place was awesome and everyone had a great time. The kids can't wait to come back. They have alot of events going on and they have alot to do inside thats not just skating.

Facility is decent but the staff isn't helpful at all. We have had my daughters birthday there the last 2 years, this year when we arrived they informed us we couldn't bring in the cake. This will definitely be our last time here

Unprofessional lazy staff that act entitled. We have been coming here for several years, even have had a birthday party here so I have plant of experience here. Always the same. Today (Sunday Feb 2nd 2025) we did the 4-7 skate. My kids went to get on the floor at 4 and the rude dread headed boy screamed at the kids to get off the floor. Then they were standing by the floor and he screamed again not to go on the floor. Not needed. Attitude problems here. I guess he was late cleaning it. He wasn't done cleani

I love the energy there. This rink was nice, they played good music and it's huge. It brought back child hood memories. No comments on the food. I didn't eat there.

Neat experience with a school STEM and Skate event. They have done a great job keeping the place relevant and fairly clean. One drawback - the music is too loud. Call me old, but especially the far end of the rink is overloaded with speakers. Can't hear each other talk or coach on how to skate... I'll be bringing hearing protection next time, for me and my kid(s).

Nice place if into roller skating. They have good colorful lights and music which the kids enjoy. If you have your own skates..get them..which would save some $

Had our daughters 12th bday here over Spring Break. Excellent service, our Party Director, Shelley, was great with the kids and adults making sure we all had fun. The DJ shoutout includes the child being up with the DJ and talking into the mic which was a fun surprise. The kids loved the skating, laser tag and games. Would definitely recommend.

Cool, hip, and fun skating rink. Great time with family and friends for skaters and non-skaters. The DJ and music fuel the sounds and the skaters adhere to the tunes. We love skating here- however they clearly need police present. Had my kids there today for open skate and birthday party from the 1:30-4p and couldn't even safely leave due to a very large brawl between adults on the sidewalk in the parking lot. Crazy to try to navigate getting kids safely to cars around adults dropping profanities and threats. Do better and choose to protect your patrons. Your security was unable to contain the situation.

we hosted our son?s 10th birthday here and ordered the premium package. everyone had a blast, and especially loved the laser tag. our son really enjoyed spinning the wheel of fortune and the free icee :) i wish i could remember our host?s name because she was excellent! she was easily the best host we've ever had at any kids? birthday party (including trampoline places, chuck e. cheese, etc). she was very accommodating and checked on us often. i do wish skate zone 71 had many more skate mates available. th

It's has been about 20 yrs since I have been here. But my niece what to skating for her birthday so we went . Everything was clean except the womens bathroom.

We love Skate Zone 71! My daughter got her first pair of skates for Christmas last year. After she mastered skating through our kitchen we had to get her to a rink! Skate Zone offers weekend sessions for specific age groups and even does cartoon characters for the kiddos! Also, I would love to brag about their lovely staff! I have worked many years in the hospitality industry. Many of the staff members are teens but they are so polite, caring and helpful! Hard to come by these days!! 10/10 for service!!

This place was jam packed. The line wrapped toward the end of the building. While yes they have a good size skating rink, Lazer tag and an arcade, it was just wall to wall people, no where to sit and took too long to get in. Also while my daughter was skating she wasn't allowed to use the wall to help her at all (she's newish to skating). I would not go back.

Very accessible for new skaters (skating aids for new skaters), well designed skating rink w/ a rest area in the middle, but the food is pretty mediocre in quality. Overall a great place to go for a fun time, no matter your level of skill.

I only go for "adult only" events and have had great experiences so far. The community is welcoming. The floor is large enough to work on and in good repair. The middle is good for working on footwork. I love the middle wall for beginners.

United Skates of America's big brother, SkateZone 71 provides an almost nostalgic skate experience. It's a feeling akin to that of "Cascade" as featured in the movie "ATL". Amateurs are welcome but the pro-am skaters here are serious, and if you're not careful, you can get swept up in the wake of their precise movement, and tail first on the floor with only a whiff of their parfum of choice to hold on to; or the wall, you can hold on to the wall too ahaha. But that's not cool so don't get caught on the wall

Love this place. They host fun parties. The staff is nice. They have a inner skate circle for those who are less experienced and a walker you can rent.

This place is lit. Been forever since I have been and took my daughter and her friends for her 12th birthday this weekend. Very nostalgic for me and my wife. Still feels and looks the same from many years ago (and that's a good thing). We plan to go back for open skate multiple more times this fall and winter for our family night activity. Still a fun time. Place is clean and the staff is very courteous. Takes a little while to get your food, but the wait is worth it.

The guy at the desk I think he was the manager his name was Jim or something like that. He was amazing and great customer service!

I enjoy skating every week on an adult night with a group of other skaters, but tonight was changed to a boy band theme music night, which unfortunately made us all go home and wasted my gas from across town. Theme night are not needed for adult nights possibly use those for kid skating sessions. Pictured below shows how theme night can be bad for business. Looking forward to next week when hopefully it's back to normal non-theme music.

Skate zone 71 is a good place to have skating and have fun with family with some games and arcades. I visited this as part of my daughter school program. It's good arena for skating and have some food and enjoy a evening with family. They have nice dj and music, dance lights on skate floor. The other games include laser tag and arcade games. They have nice food options like quick munches, pizza and ice creams. They have some good deals on games and food. Visit if you are skate lover.

We came for the queer night the event was poorly planned and advertised skate rentals was included with entry fee and it was not. The place is fun with great music and patrons. The place needs more maintenance and restrooms are nasty. Maybe they should open the food stand and sell food and drinks so they can have funds to repair and clean the place up.

I've gone for private parties, birthday parties, family events. It's always been consistent fun.

i love skate zone so much i come here every day and love every second of it. i LOOOVE the DJ's so much he is so nice and had amazing music. highly recommend to come on saturdays and sundays, those are the days he is DJ

It was 35+ years since I've roller skated. Kenny did an awesome job showing me how to skate again and fall safely. Also, gave additional tips that I will be using to work on balance and safely falling and getting up. These ideas can be used as I age in everyday living. Loved that I was able to circle around the rink holding my daughters hand.

A decent place to skate and have fun, when we were there, some of the game machines wasn't working, and we got there too late for laser tag, but overall it was an enjoyable night with the little ones.

I loved this trip because I am from Louisiana!! For the past 10+ years my husband and I have made a goal to skate in each state at least one time. This was my 1st time to skate in Ohio. Very good skating rink location. Clean, colorful, and pretty well kept for the number of patrons and parties. A little confusing on entry with so many people but for overall.

Open year round, has multiple themes including adult date nights. Skate classes and other skate related activities. They have laser tag, arcade and Concession stand. The skate floor is wooden and overall even to help when balancing or doing tricks. There is a separate enclosed area for people to practice special moves or get their balance right.

Had a few hiccups during my daughter's birthday party but nothing major and they made it right. My daughter had the time of her life for her 7th birthday party. It was a little pricey but worth it. Wonderful memories were made.

Skate71 is great, the biggest thing that stands out to me is how nice the entire staff is. All the people working there are very courteous and helpful and do all of that with a friendly demeanor. Highly recommend.
