Skate Moore Skate Center

I really enjoyed this rink when we arrived. But they shut the entire floor down for skate lessons and games. That was fine until some of the regulars were allowed to speed skate and goof off on the floor while the DJ kept asking everyone everyone else, not playing the games, to get off the floor. Otherwise, it is a nice rink. Kids seemed to have a good time.

On Sunday 6/7/2025 me & my husband took my niece and nephew went here ? my nephew , my niece and me were new players? but my nephew tried to join this and walked very slowly?and he was tired and sit down on the other side after long walk? then their staffs told everyone have to get out of the skate rink ? the guy told him he gotta go?why he couldn't sit there? DO NOT GO!! They allow older men to hang around kids unsupervised. They are not employees and are "enforcing the rule of no kids sitting on the wall" when the staff don't enforce that rule nor is there any sign saying that isn't allowed. Regardless, my niece wasn't sitting on any wall and was skating when she was touched by an older man. When I brought this up to the owner and other employees we were shrugged off and met with the reply. "He comes here often." The man claimed he was with his daughter but was

$10 for an evening of fun. Limited parking when it's busy. Many take thier own quads or blades, but the rentals are great. Snack bar is good. The rink guards do frequent walk throughs around the lockers even. I feel like it is a safe place I can drop off my kids as they get older.

The staff that play the songs have not once now but twice broken my daughters heart and hurt her feelings. She will skate over and ask very nicely if they can play some of her favorite songs, which are songs that are popular today, they will tell her they will play her songs but then they never do. They will straight up lie to her. The some of songs they do play are not family friendly either. The DJ is lazy and plays a playlist instead of actually being a DJ. Haven't been previous to this in at least 16 years but this place is still a vibe. They have an adult night on Wednesday every so often and definitely gets more packed Thursday and Friday evenings. Still a good time to come and visit and skate to some music.

Our family will never go back to Skate Moore. My autistic biracial son who is 12, was discriminated against because he wasn't wearing skates and or skating. We have lived in Moore for 12 years, and have visited Skate Moore numerous times, even had multiple birthday parties there. The owner basically said that if he isn't skating then he can't be there?.. I really liked the rink. The floors, lighting, sidelines and snack area were all good. I liked that there were no skate mates. Lots of games for kids of all ages. At just $10 it was a great weekend of blading.

It's not a bad spot for the kids to burn off energy. My roller blades had some wheels that needed to be replaced, and the food is not at all good for you or all that good, but it's a cool spot.

Changing my review. I do very much enjoy taking my kid and her friends here often. The staff has not been as friendly or attentive as they used to be. I loved the interaction they used to have. Also, I wish the music was more fun and enjoyable for the 70% of the age group being 5-12 year olds. Don't really care to hear WAP or rap while trying to enjoy ?family fun?. I hope this changes soon but it hasn't in the past year. I would go every week if it was music we could sing to.

And because there were several events going on at once, they also did a great job playing different skating games that allowed some people to step off the rink so there weren't too many on at a time. Pretty cool rink! Clean and friendly staff willing to help with whatever you might need. No walkers here for the littles but they don't seem to care lol. Fun place to go reasonably priced and stay nice and cool. The ac is on point! Great place to have birthday parties for the kiddos.

The staff was kind and we had fun skating with a birthday party group. The place is a little run down, the ceiling tiles are stained and sagging. We paid for a cup of ice tap water and they wanted to charge for a refill so we just used the water fountain to refill our cup.

We went here for a family members birthday party. The rink was in great condition and the workers did a great job keeping everyone entertained. There were also several arcade/claw machine type games to play. Everyone left happy.

The owner Aaron is just simply freakin AWESOME &a really great guy. My kids practically grew up there LOL. He provides a FUN and SAFE environment for kids(even the adult kids) Highly recommend this place. I always tell everybody "you gotta skate here" Thanks again for everything

I never thought I'd leave a negative review for a skating rink but the staff is so rude. It was my son?s first time skating and I was so excited. They don't have anything to assist littles skating and when someone came out to ?help,? he grew impatient immediately and just walked away. If you're not good with kids, maybe this isn't the place for you.

The MOST comfortable roller skates! ?? I haven't skated in years when one night we got a wild hair about us and went to the rink. Usually it's my feet that go out first from blisters but WOW these skates were soooo nice. Even my own purchased skates back in 2008 weren't near as nice as these silly RENTALS ?? like a puffy soft padded leather. 10/10 will be going again. So much fun. Only wiped out 3x ??

Aaron the owner it's very nice and professional I had a very good time brought back a lot of memories and 55 years old and felt very welcome amongst all the other skaters I would recommend it to anybody very clean environment very clean snack bar clean restrooms lockers for your personal belongings and a nice skate shop for all your skating needs it's the real deal

Great place to take the kids My children grew up here and now my grandchildren. I can honestly say one of the safest places in Moore for our pre-teen kids to enjoy themselves.

Very busy, I was told at the concession, we could not get served until after they serviced their birthday parties and asked if that was okay. Why would that be okay? They lost a 40 plus dollar sale. I wonder if te owner knows about that. We wont go back.

We went here to attend my God nieces birthday party. It's pretty cool in here. Food is a bit pricey. And the bathrooms are way out dated. They were clean tho. All the staff seemed to be very nice. Our family loves spending a weekend afternoon skating here. We've had 1-2 instances when some of the teenage staff has almost mowed down one of my little ones so that they can talk to a group of girls, but this is honestly the only bad thing I could say about this skating rink. Good place to skate, but my son said a bad joke and got banned for a long while, he was having a bad day, and the manager was very rude!! The manager should have gave a warning, instead the manager yelled in his face, I would love to get my son unbanned.

We had our daughters 12th birthday party there and it all went very smooth. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and the air conditioning was nice! (The party was in August). They had an instruction sheet with how the party would flow, the kids loved the pizza and we had no issues. Would def recommend.

Great skating rink I love going here, the price is good for either skates and the staff is so nice and fun. I'd rely on the water fountain if you're thirsty thought the food and drink prices are as expected here. Aside from that I can't recommend it enough

Went to my grandsons birthday party here recently. I skated here when I was a teenager and my kids grew up going here on Saturday evenings. It's a very nice rink. Well cared for wood skating floor, good variety and reasonable prices at the concession stand, all around good family atmosphere.

It's really hard to skate here. We went on a Saturday afternoon. There were 3-4 birthday parties so there was a ton of really young kids. Many didn't know how to skate so they were falling all over the place and you had to constantly dodge them. They would also enter the rink without any perception of the skaters cruising by so you had to try and dodge them while they entered and then promptly fell, or started going the wrong direction, or cut across the rink like they aren't supposed to do. They cram this place in with way too many people. We went for a birthday party and a school event. There were 7 parties at the same time. It was insane, no one could walk anywhere. My child got hurt and I couldn't even get to him. At the school event, they ran way too many "adult only" or "couples skate" when the kids wanted to skate before their parents made them leave. I've been skating for about 15 years and this is probably one of the best skating rinks in the US. A lot of common problems I see at other rinks, this one simply doesn't have. The floors are always clean, they crowd control well, the music is child-friendly, the staff is great. Shoutout to Kris with a K for being so friendly and really making us feel welcome there. If I could give a -10 I would. Took some family to enjoy an evening of skating. The floor staff was very unsafe. Several were very unsafe skating too fast, cutting in and out of people and bumping people almost knocking them over. When we talked to other staff we were treated like we were the ones in the wrong. We will not be going back. Not a safe skating environment.

My daughter took me here for MY birthday. Mind you, she's 8, I'm in my 30's, but we had a blast! Great music, fun games, and family friendly! I'll definitely be going back. Oh, make sure you check the hours out on Skate Moore's actual website. The hours have been off on here before.

Facility is nice and staff / owner are professional. Our kids have been going here for years and have never had any issues. Food, drinks and games makes it great for birthday parties.

I suggest not to go here all they do is yell at you and if you get in trouble once they get mad at you they'd like to yell in your face and scream I do not suggest going here yeah normally the place is very calm but there's also a lot of fights and always kids vaping in the bathroom and kids getting blamed for it

I had skated in 15 years . It's was friendly, helpful, and Malachi and I will come back again . He is eighty and first time in a building to skate ? he had so much fun and the pizza he said was delicious. Had a great experience. There was a miscommunication on my part, but the owner quickly fixed it. My kids and i had a blast! I'm already looking to plan a birthday party there in September! I went there last week and my son I phone got stolen from the locker. He accidentally left it open. Some money got stolen as well from his friends locker. Went and spoke to the manager he said there are no cameras towards the lockers. That's where the camera should be in it the most since personal items are stored!!!! Attended my niece's 6 year birthday party here. Had a great time.

This place is clean and well managed. Snack bar is reasonably priced and they really try. They play lots of games with the kids on skates through the session. If your watching you may get cold, because they keep it cooler for the skaters. Cherish our skating rinks, we are losing them!

Small skating rink, A TON of rules. They do a lot of breaks on the younger kids for skating. $10 to enter, and doesn't cover your skates. They require you to pay $5 for inline skates for kids. Adults have to pay $10 for inline skates. AND hold your shoes as collateral. This isn't optional, they will EXPECT collateral.

My 10 year old had an awesome birthday party at Skate Moore this year! You can't beat the price for a kids party and it was really fun for the kids and super nostalgic for the adults. There were teens there who were fast skaters, but they worked around the kids and most helped them up when they fell. The staff was great and you could tell the owner really loves the place. The workers here at the food center were disrespecting and bullying me, saying horrible and mean stuff to me and other and it's so disrespectful when im PAYING them when they're the broke ones.

Horrible! I made reservations a week & half early for my niece?s surprise birthday party. I called a few days before to confirm & ask a couple of questions. They couldn't find a reservation under my name or my nieces name! He said he doesn't remember talking to me but my co worker was next to me & remembers me making it. Tons of fun for a 1 pound price.

I brought my daughter and a couple of her friends for her 6th birthday. My daughter is really good at skating, but her friends are beginners. I asked if they had walkers and they didn't. I asked if they could tighten the skates so they can actually at least keep on thier feet and they said they don't do that. Just don't expect a lot of help if your bringing beginners. I'll try other skating rings

Decent enough, but definitely not a good place for young kids or beginner skaters. Staff was rude and patrons were even ruder. Lots of clogged walk ways I couldn't get through due to the sheer amount of people and staff didn't seem to be doing much to manage it.

Horrible place to have a birthday party! Charged us for people who didn't even skate, didn't even ask who is on our list so they gave people tickets when they weren't asked too even after I said I wanted to hold on to the tickets to give out so this didn't happen and they told me I wasn't aloud too. Spent a majority of my childhood here. I tend to go back from time to time just to reminisce. It's exactly how it was when I was young. The staff is just as awesome! Prices still cheap and they always play killer tunes! Its clean and they still offer decently priced food! The bathrooms seem even smaller now, probably because I grew. I don't like the fact that people can literally watch you use the restrooms due to how small the doors are, but that's the only downfall.

Started with renting roller blades, but they hurt my feet due to the blades being in poor condition. Switched to skates and then had fun skating. The DJ only played female pop artist music for the few hours I was there. It was good music, but hearing a few male vocalist would have been nice. That and a variety of music genres.

I have not been here in over 6 months. I loved it. So much fun. There was a lot of kids but they keep things in order. I definitely recommend this place. Excellent Pizza

Lots of cheap fun!!!! I fell three times with my child. A young female employee quickly came to pick us up. There was limbo and racing, and other activities. The staff really enjoyed being around the children and skaters. Did not try the food. The young man at the front was really accommodating to my three younger children. Since we werent sure of our skate sizes. He was also very informative when my son asked him about working there some day. I really enjoyed Skate Moore's environment.

Not a place to teach the kids to skate. Brought my kids (4&6) to Skate Moore. Both are still learning to skate. I was disappointed that I couldn't been on the rink with them without being on skates myself. Made it very difficult to assist them and not tip over, and cost me another admission. Also, many rinks have tripod handlebars for the learners. Not here. Clean place and well maintained. Snack bar highly overpriced. My wife and I finally got a chance to go skate here a few weeks back. Man! Talk about an awesome day! We ended up buying my wife a pair of skates that day and the owner was so helpful and patient! (we're both autistic and get distracted easily) I absolutely LOVE the care and maintenance they obviously put into keeping that gorgeous wood floor so nice!! We survived! Private maybe better, but for begginer skaters not recommended. One table per party, no walkers, and no lock skates for begginer skater. Party child enjoyed herself but very close quarters, not accommodating, you only get the drinks for the people you paid for at the appointed time that the establishment designates. Safe the staff keeps kids safe

If I could give zero stars I would. I paid 150 dollars for a party and they didn't even put a table cover on it. Many things happened but the straw for me was a bunch of teenage workers accusing mine of purposely knocking down a three year old and told him he would need to sit and face the wall, like a ?time out?, in order to keep skating! I am furious and will never come back. Its worth the drive to star skate to get an all around better experience. I wish starskate still had their Norman location!

Plus:The facility has definitely had some money pumped into it. Lots of new gear. Great for older kids that can skate. Negative: definitely not set up for young kids and new skaters. Staff refused to tighten up skates wheels, so they wouldn't roll so fast. Walkers are not available to help beginners. Parents are not allowed on the rink to walk with there kids. Staff told us to go skate on the carpet. Where parents are watching and kids are running around. Again not safe or ideal for either side.
