I took both my kids to ShowBiz for a kids movie, only to realize?once we got there?that I had accidentally booked tickets at a completely different theater in town. Totally my mistake. As I was getting ready to buy new tickets online, the staff called the manager. Without any hassle, he kindly let us into the show free of charge. I was genuinely blown away by how understanding and helpful they were. What could?ve been a frustrating experience turned into a smooth, stress-free outing. Huge shoutout to the
Love going to the movies with the family here!! The best part is the cleanliness of the theater and comfortable lounge chairs. Plenty of room! We occasionally order from their menu, and its not disappointing. Always will continue to come back to support this theater. ?????????? ??
Over how concessions are self serve so its quick to get through. Theaters are nice as well with recliners seats.
This theater has a lot going for it?clean facilities, good sound, and a modern vibe since it's relatively new. However, the seats are a major letdown. They're shockingly worn down, uncomfortable, and desperately need replacing for a theater this new. Also, the concession prices are absurdly high, even for a movie theater. Decent experience overall, but they need to fix the seating and rethink those snack prices!
We use to love coming here as a family but I am very disappointed the last 3 times we have come. The lights on the bowling lanes don't work so you have to play with a dark lane, the tea machine was down the last time & this time it tasted horrible. They switched from packages of ketchup and mustard to putting out self serve squirt bottles which is disgusting to share with every single person walking through there, the floors are gross with food everywhere, bathrooms out of paper towels, & the seats in
Came to see Wicked the Wed before Thanksgiving and the theater was trashed. The recliners didn't work. Short handed? We tried complaining but were told we could get a refund if we didn't want to watch the movie. What a waste!! We won't be back.
We love this theatre. It is our go-to for new movies. Unfortunately, our latest experience wasn't acceptable. We thought we had bought 3D tickets, because that's what the website said (see attached photo). When I asked about it, and showed him the same image from the website, I was told "just because it's SDX doesn't mean it's 3D." It was clearly labeled on the website, and the kid's tone was absolutely unacceptable. We still love this theatre, and won't hold it against them. It was just one bad experience.
Drove over an hour to pick up my nieces to make up for birthday parties I'd missed recently. Showbiz is the closest entertainment for the age group so we were excited! When we get there, it's completely empty, so we go to the kiosk and get our play cards. Only to find out the hard way that 15-20 of the games were not working. We walked around in circles and played the same games over and over just to spend the card. Get into the ?prize area? and it's pathetic. Chuck E Cheese sadly puts this place to shame.
Used to be our favorite venue but in the past two years it has slowly degraded. Seats are ripped, sometimes they don't mobilize so have to ask to move, bugs flying throughout film and overall uncleanliness. Miss the way it used to be managed and now we drive further to go to Flix.
This place used to be amazing. My family of 7 total used to always go for their flashback cinema showings as they were $5 a piece. But with their new ownership, they apparently decided to stop selling them for $5 and now charge full price. The problem with this, is that online it still said the tickets were $5, but when I went to check out, the price was almost $15 a piece to watch a movie that came out in the 90's. I called their hotline, only to be told that they see the advertisement is for $5, but t
The theater is in a great location and was our favorite; however, the management has let this establishment down in many ways. 1. The theater is disgustingly dirty these days. As soon as you walk up to the doors, your feet stick to the concrete, and you see all the ?black? waste stuck to it. 2. The theater's carpets are stained, stink, and genuinely give off a bad vibe. 3. Pest infestation? and the management knows!!! During the last three movies we have seen there, we have had to swat flying pests durin
First time here! Clean, not too crowded, and a neat place to hang out. Paid for 90 min of bowling, but we missed out on about the last 15, because we had a ball stuck. Called for service, service sign stayed up, but no one ever came. Since it was close to the session ending already, we just packed up early instead of bowling the last game. Food was okay.
Light broken for ove 2 months music included in bowling movie theaters seats are gross. No packages condiments. These was always our favorite place but it has become over priced lows quality. Lockes on stars broke and walls in bathroom stalls were very gross
I enjoy the movie theater experience, even though I have a theater in my house. However, I don't think I'll go back to Showbiz because they refused to take care of their gnat/insect problem. It's a huge distraction/health issue during the last three times I've visited, in 3 different theaters! Clean your theaters!! Please! A gnat landed in my drink this last time so I am done until they fix this problem. Please let me know if you all have experienced the same thing.
At first glance, the cinema appears modern and well-maintained. However, over the past year, it has unfortunately experienced a noticeable decline in quality. The box office at the front of the theater is rarely operational, requiring customers to wait in the same line for both ticket purchases and concessions such as sodas, popcorn, and snacks. For those attempting to buy tickets in advance, the online service imposes a significant surcharge, which feels excessive. Additionally, the automatic ticket machi
I love Showbiz!! However, we just can't afford to go to movies much anymore as a family. The concessions are great and are good value for the money compared to other theater chains. Especially love the self serve nachos and dollar hot dogs. Unfortunately, Flashback Cinema tickets went up from $5 to $10 each and we just can't afford that as much. By the time we get tickets and concessions, we can pay for a new large screen TV and watch movies in the comfort of our home for what it costs us to go to 2 Flash
We love it here. Prices are what they are. It is expensive everywhere for movies. Staff is always nice. Their patient with my kid as he takes forever to pick out what he wants to spend his points on. The arcade is fun. Kindof expensive but good quality games. The games typically work.
Place was packed with kids. Many arcade games. The theater has assigned seating and the recliner seating is awesome. All attendents had on masks. May need more parking someday.
I'm giving 5 stars love the seating, the bar/ game area. Food and snacks were reasonably priced . Only thing the bathrooms were trashed but so many people they probably Have a schedule to clean them and it was trashed In between because everywhere else seemed clean
We saw lilo and stich with the grandkids yesterday! It's always a great experience! Very clean! Love all the food choices and 1 dollar hot dogs!
This place is a great spot for fun! It's modern, clean, and feels brand new. We had a blast bowling and playing games?the atmosphere was lively, and everything was well-maintained. Definitely worth a visit!
This theatre is infested with flying moths!!!! We will not be back! It has been getting more and more filthy as time goes on. Here is an idea, SHUT IT DOWN AND CLEAN IT AND GET A BETTER EXTERMINATOR.
We always enjoy watching movies here. It's comfortable, the popcorn is good and we generally have a cocktail which is nice. This time however, some of our seats were broken. Row B, 1 and 2 in room 5 were forced in the laying position. It was a packed house so we couldn't sit somewhere else. It was really hard getting in and out of them. I will also say.. normally I don't care that your front entrance isn't open but on busy days there really should be more places available to buy tickets rather than doing i
Great venue but work on the diet drink selection......right now it consists of water and diet coke. Time to catch up to the other theaters in the area.
Came here for some bowling on my 37th birthday! Was fun, I like the layout of the place. You can watch a movie, bowl, play some arcade games, and have a drink! However, as much fun as it is was quite expensive for 3 ppl to bowl 3 games and have some drinks. I got an Italian wine that was $15 that came in this wine glass only about half full. That's a rip-off. Was fun but probably won't come back due to the prices.
Highly recommend Showbiz. Arcade games are rather expensive so I wouldn't do that aspect unless you are willing to pay for the experience. Movies and bowling are adequately priced and they offer discount days for both the movies and bowling. The food selection is pretty broad and you can order from the lanes and I believe the seats in the theatre as well.
We have been to ShowBiz many times since they opened. We used to enjoy taking our son bowling or to a movie several times a year. Sadly, ShowBiz has not been taken care of. There are rarely more than a few staff members there, so you wait ages to get whatever it is that you need, the theaters and bowling lanes are always dirty and the prices continue to rise. We will find somewhere else for movies and bowling.
Just saw the Minecraft movie with my kids. Awful experience we had teenagers maybe 18 years old not sure but it says in the website that you must be accompanied by an adult if you are under 17. Maybe if you held people accountable instead of letting them Clapping and stand and cheer during the whole movie not once or twice but through the whole movie.I talked to management three times and got nowhere. Will not be going back, a huge shout out to the general manager Chip. I was formed by your supervisor that
I love Showbiz in Edmond. I have been going since it was built. It got me through COVID! Its always clean, I get to pick my seats, I am hoping my kids will remember this theatre the way I remember the one my parents went to growing up. Thank you
only went to see a movie here but it was one of their SDX features. previous comment about moths was accurate and bizarre! 1-2 in your line of site during most of the movie. other than that it was clean and it was warm and comfortable. that being said, solidly mid for the price, but I wouldn't I had a an overall negative experience
We love this theater. Comfortable recliner seating. Friendly service. Temp controlled. Clean bathrooms. We like buying our tickets at the kiosk. Theater was clean. The sound was so loud I may be bleeding from my left ear is my only complaint. We will return with ear plugs.
A pretty solid and cheap place to go watch movies. I enjoy the facilities especially the bowling alley. It can be very busy at times which makes parking a pain. Otherwise I have no real complaints 4/5 stars :)
Just saw Nosferatu (which was great btw). It was one of the theaters in the very back. Walking past the bathrooms and it smelled rank. Then the movie theater was absolutely freezing. Everyone in the theater had their coats on (current temp is 27?). Went and mentioned it to the staff and they said it was a corporate issue and that they can't change the temperature. Sooo if that's true corporate, do better. I understand it's below 30? and that maybe it'd be a little cold in the theater (as is normal) but not
Great place... Food was the same price as most places.. The seating in the theater was amazing... I thought the games were a little pricey but not off the wall... very clean..we will definitely be back..
This place is awesome. We seen a movie there and the seats are very comfortable!!!! They recline so be careful not to fall asleep ??
Love the concept of this theater. But, it is dirty. Every surface from the trays in your seat to the dust on toilet roll containers and in clean floors need daily work. More staff can fix this with good follow up on how your theater presents. Less Hours open to allow more staff. Get someone in who knows how to put the sparkle back into this nice facility. Sorry to complain, but why build a nice place like this and not take care of it.
My family and I loved this place. The reclining chairs were so comfortable you have to be careful not to fall asleep like I did ??. Arcade and food available. Awesome place!
The movie was great and building was nice however in multiple bathrooms there were no paper towels and in many of the womens stalls there was zero toilet paper. I moved from a stall to one with tp and then my neighbor ended up in another and needed to from me. Place was definitely dirty and seemed to be run by very young adults.
Me and my family of four went and saw the Minecraft movie. We were very distracted by the flying chicken and fireworks that went off at the "chicken jockey" scene. Very disappointed in the service and handling of the situation. The movie was still pretty fantastic.
For the love, 5000000 ads at 120 decibels with multiple ads repeating. Started movie previews 5-10 minutes late each time the last few times I've been here. Slow decline in quality of experience at an otherwise nice theatre.
It was a very nice and clean place. Staff was friendly, all the seats were recliners and comfortable. Sound quality was the only thing that was sub par
A full service and entertainment establishment. Movies, bowling, games, food and a bar..why go anywhere else..you have to ask yourself that. It's a little bit in-your-face with all the TV,s but sometimes that is ok. Theater has comfortable reclining seats.. a big plus.
The movie theater and concession areas are decent. The bar area is nice, but don't expect Michelin star quality food or drinks (it's a movie theater). We regularly go to ShowBiz solely for the arcade and it has gotten exponentially worse with each visit. Most of the games are out of order. Don't go if you're only going for the arcade.
Love it here! Great for family fun! They have great events where movie tickets are a dollar I believe. The concession stand is not too bad. They have to make money somehow guys. The arcade is alright. I was surprised at how much they are now a days. Didn't get the bowl but the area looks clean and a nice pass time. Parking is great as well, lots of space
This is the third time they have had a plague of flying insects inside the function, it is unpleasant, they should call a pest inspector. And the recliners are in bad condition.
If you are looking for a place to grab a bite/drink and hang out before going back and watching a movie this place isn't it. Ordered food and an alcoholic drink through the QR code (no one checked ID). The food was horrible. We weren't expecting a Michelin star restaurant but we expected more than barely thawed mozzarella sticks and hamburger patties for the $65 we spent on food/drinks alone. Went to order a float from the ice cream bar and was told that they only had 3 flavors of ice cream because all the
The movie experience is average just like you can go anywhere else, but if you come to play the games you should know that only about half the games working. Really a poor experience which it is sad because use to be fun to bring younger kids. Better off going to Quail Springs Mall to play games and a watch movie.
Took my grandson to a movie...good experience. Wish concessions were more economical...
There are moths flying everywhere in their main theatre room, and when I asked for a refund before the movie even began they wouldn't offer me anything but a voucher for another movie in the future. I live an hour away, was hoping for a little bit of luxury for the 16 dollar ticket price, and was sorely disappointed leaving.
This is definitely a fun spot for anybody in Edmond, Ok. It took me a while to discover this place surprisingly. There are quite a few things to do here like bowling, watch a movie, play games or simply hang out and watch other people do their thing. The environment is neat and the music is nice. I like it there!
I can't help but feel that Showbiz has lost some attention to detail and their customer service is lacking. Went to see Moana 2 last night and during a busy time they only had two at the registers, one of our seats would not operate, the women?s bathroom was filthy, the paper towel dispenser wouldn't work in the men?s, and previews wouldn't show on the screen. I went and asked a young fella about it and he said ?It happens all the time, if the screen doesn't come on when the movie starts let me know.? I ma
What a truly disappointing experience. We came to bowl and play games before our movie. The only posted option for bowling is 90 minutes whip is half an hour longer than we'd want. Food and drink was beyond limited. Multiple items from the menu were out of stock. They only have two beers on draft and were out of the other 18. We then went to the arcade and got 2 $50 cards for the four of us. After that, we discovered over half the games were broken, really limiting our options to play. Then comes the act
Online booking fee has become ridiculous. $30 fee to purchase tickets from them - I am not asking that they be hand delivered to my house one at a time individually. No thank you.
love this place so much I'm so blessed to work here i love going to the movies best movie theater ever I been coming here ever since they first open up
Easy access off of i35. Plenty of parking. Very clean inside and out. We went to an afternoon show. They had other options such as bowling and video games. Also looks like they offer a ?party room? for birthdays and such. It was my first time there.
It's great has good snacks they have recliners as seats, the movie qualities are great, and the arcade games are amazing. 10/10 definitely recommend
Had a great time. One problem. Problem was the bartender had our ticket. We were still bowling and she walks over and gives us our tap to pay. ????? wasn't ready to leave but I guess she was ready for us to leave. So we check out left. Rude lady!!
It's very good! Very surprised, 5 dlls everythrusday for the movie theather leather seats and same movies is at the other theathers...Also games, food, bar and modern bowling, but for families they out of Edmond or Okc is really faraway, we really enjoy it
My boys had fun in the arcade and the movie theater was great. However, as a first time visitor I was a little confused how the whole "thing" was supposed to work with food, drinks, getting into the movie, and finding the restrooms.
Showbiz was awesome, as always. $5 Ticket Tuesday this afternoon!! The people are nice, and Blue Beetle is amazing, and we like their games! (Direct quote from my 5 yr old grandson).
If you guys can get the moths out of the SDX that have been there the last 4 shows, 5 stars. Only minus one star because the moths are very small.
Had a great time with a big group, all the staff did a great job accommodating everyone, I am sure it was a lot. The two bar tenders did a great job keeping up and being friendly.
More activities were available in the theaters, including buttons on the seats that allowed you to move them up and down while viewing a movie. There's also bowling and arcade ????
MOTHS!!! like seriously the SDX is infested. Don't look up what moths mean in a theater because you won't go back. 3 of the many caught in the SDX theater!!! Hide your popcorn and your drinks
This is our favorite place to go. Nice theater with bowling and a big game room.
This is my favorite theatre but HIRE A PEST CONTROL COMPANY TO ADDRESS THE MOTHS. The last two movies I have seen, moths are all over !!!
Theater had a moth infestation which interfered with viewing of the movie. Bathrooms and theater were not clean for the first showing on a weekend. Most of the arcade games were not working. Management was aware but seemed to not care. Do not waste your time going to this place.
It's gone downhill since first opening. Staff doesn't like answering questions, when arriving 15-20 min before going in for movie foods aren't ready and they want you to "come back and get", ticket prices went way UP, seats are worn- not functioning (SDX) or making squeaking noises, its not clean sometimes in there. Now no one answers phone goes to "leave a message" or if email wont hear for 5 days. SDX isn't divided with top movies so no option there. Maybe someone doesn't want Disney type movie. This is v
The actual movie theaters, seating and sound systems are excellent. I recommend going for that reason. I'm not real keen on the arcade outfront, but it's not that big of a deal. The staff never seems very happy to be there. That would probably be the biggest downfall. But the actual movie experience, which is most important is excellent.
We enjoy going to movies here! Tuesdays are $5 for movie tickets, so we typically go on Tuesdays! We also appreciate their throwback cinema movies! Their bar and food are pricey, but drinks and snacks are yummy!
I really hope this place makes it! The last few times we've been, there's no one there. We get the theater to ourselves or just have a couple of other people in there. Seats are comfortable. Theater gets a little cold in summer. Self serve drinks and snacks. Last time we made it for $5 Tuesdays, I thought it would be packed, but there was only one other couple in theater with us!
My husband is handicapped with back problems and on medicine that has him visit the facilities more than usual. We spent the day at Showbiz for our son's birthday only to have our day of celebration end in a negative way. Our movie was over at 12:30am and my husband had to use the facilities immediately after, only to be denied because they were already cleaned and "off lots." He tried to explain his situation only to be denied by both the staff person and the manager! The other bathroom was across the long
Nice seats that recline. Really updated modern designed theaters and the building overall. They have a coffee shop, island bar, concessions area, and a pretty decent sized arcade. Plenty of space in the theater so you don't have to deal with the pet peeves of people sitting directly behind you or anyone kicking your seats. It is in Edmond so it is a bit of a drive there from my location, but I visit there for the big movies when I can and it is worth it. I will be back to see movies there.
The bowling is great, the arcade is fun, and the movie experience is comfy and inviting. It's great for big family events or date nights.
We went for a movie and really enjoyed it! The theater is nice, but the consession are a bit disorganized and confusing. The seats were comfortable and the sound and picture of the film was excellent!
Neat place. The bar is slammed on busy nights. Veronica is amazing but she needs help. Comfy seats, almost a private viewing experience. Way cool.
Not your typical movie theater. Clean, spacious and great sound!
New place. Very kid friendly and clean. Theaters are good and a full bar as well. Worth the stop.
We always come here for our movie watching experience. Sadly, we won't be back. Let's start in the arcade, we were frustrated when most of the games weren't working and actually took our credits and wouldn't let us play. When we spoke to the manager, he told us some alarming things: (1) corporate wasn't allowing them to order parts to fix the games, (2) he couldn't give us our money back, (3) he, amongst other staff were all quitting because they won't let them hire staff and they are all working well over
Bowling every other Wednesday... Good lanes with good balls! Drinks and dining a bit overpriced... Guess it's because of the atmosphere!
Great overall experience here! Comfortable seats, good variety of snacks & drinks, nice movie selection, and convenient location. Highly recommend. ??
Nice clean place with a lot of entertainment options
This is our favorite movie theatre. We drive from OKC just to come here. I have no complaints. The only thing that is funny is after you make your nachos, make your own popcorn, drink, etc, when you go to pay, it asks what you'd like to tip the cashier? I just found it so funny cause they didn't do anything to accommodate our snacks. Why are they asking for a tip? I think they should take that option off because it's just so silly. It made me chuckle.
Great cinema! Especially on Tuesdays when tickets are only $5! And the movie choices on Tuesdays are the same as the other days! The only inconvenience was that the hot dogs were cold and they do not have a bun warmer so they were not that great.
Went to see a movie and played a few games at the arcade. We had fun playing competitively against each other at arcade games. I haven't been there in a while but plan to go back again pretty soon. The summer movies for kids looks like a fun option if you have some kids to entertain.
Very busy place. Went here with my son & grandchildren (3 & 6). We got there not long before the movie started, so our seats were down front. Thank goodness the chairs reclined, or I would've had a neck ache. The kids loved all the games.
Took my kids to see the Minecraft Movie and played games after. They both enjoyed their night out.
My family and I love watching movies here. We are really fond of the large reclining seats with plenty of space in front so you can go to/from the restroom easily. My boys have bowled and played in the arcade and tell me they have a good time.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
