Great place. New location and not what you'll find on google reviews. Current location does not have the arcade. They opened later than advertised, several of us were waiting outside patiently to get in maybe an hour overall. Prices were great, selection was good. Great retro game store overall. Traveled about an hour away to check it out. Also, the sign about the store threw us off. Look at the windows to find the space and not above the door.
I dropped a PS5 off to be fixed on January 3, 2025. This store does not have a phone so I would physically have to go to the store to check on progress or send a message on facebook. Due to the store not being open on numerous days or extremely slow feedback from messages, I was not able to pick up the console until February 6, 2025. I was told that a technician was working on the console. When we finally got it back, it had the same issue. i will not be going back. My child was excited that i finally bro
Great game store with great customer service! Reasonable prices too!
It was an impressive store with a large selection of games and other stuff. Also the folks running seemed likeable. I recommend it.
Don't have a phone to answer business phone calls. It's not worth my time. That's just bad business. I'm not taking a drive up there just to find out if they have something or don't have something.
Great store! I'm so happy to see Thomasville have a shop of this caliber. Wonderful selection, good prices, great quality assurance and overall enjoyable/cool vibe. Seems like it has potential to be a great little community. They should consider doing events/hang outs for gamers/geeks. (Maybe a night out once a week or a couple times a month where they have a tournament of some sorts or a hang out where people could meet up and play games together.) Would be a great place to do so and something I think peop
The store itself is kinda cool. However I turned in a PS5 to see if it could be fixed after a lightning strike. I didn't hear back after 2 weeks so I called. They said it was destroyed so I went in to pick it up so I can trun it into my insurance. The workers went to the back for like 15 mins laughing about something just to tell me it was still disassembled. I waited another week and a half and called because I'm running out of time to turn it into my insurance. I was on hold for almost 10 minutes then hu
I went to Amber's too my usual spot to find old games, they told me about SCG, I went over and man is that a cool store, I walked out with 5 desireable xbox360 games for something like 25 bucks. Very helpful as I intend to start a collection. As far as I could tell everything was reasonably priced, I don't really trade so I'm not sure about that part but it's probably on the up and up.
Extremely cool game store, helps void the gap of fun known as Thomasville. Have bought hard to get things and sold hard to sell things there and no complaints. Door is heavy but I don't care because they got super cheap snacks compared to most vending machines. Also sometimes at night an real life among us comes out of the vent and plays video games.
Its nice to see a game shop thats come to Thomasville. It reminds me of Gamestop, but is better because of how open it is. The mox of retro console games and new games / hardware is nice, almost like a thrift store with quality products. Amazing store to buy, sell, and hang out!
Staff is so helpful. They found my son a game he's been searching for for over 6 months. Very nostalgic feel with retro gaming and all the new games as well. Also, great pricing!
Don't understand why a business that opens at 11 takes an hour lunch at 12 I work long hours and don't have the convenience to just stop by every time I go at lunch it's closed with every light left on open sign and all
Great customer service. Have more rare games fairly priced. Will help you look for the Game ur lookin for.
Was excited to see the shop, but tried to go in during their open hours and while the sign was on. the door didn't open. Tried again, and the few folks in there laughed. Walked away to leave and they let others in. Won't be back.
Amazing retro game store with good and fair prices. Can't wait for the new location to open!
Great place to come, relax and game. Lots of old games for a good price. Would recommend for anyone wanting nostalgia
Attempted to visit on a Sunday (hours are 12:00pm - 7:00pm) at 3:00pm. Door was locked and I was laughed at by workers and people inside the store. Will not be back. Very disappointed. Would give 0 stars if I could.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND HAD MY PS4 PRO FOR 3 MONTH THEY SAID THEY FIX MY GAME GAME WASNT FIX HDMI PORT STILL NOT FIX
Great local game store, great selection of games and consoles at decent prices.

?????????????????????? Whatever your needs are, especially when it comes to GAMING, this is where you need to go!!!!!!! ??????????????????????
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
