Customer Reviews

What a great time had by all ages !!! Wednesday nights are 1.00 a game and two people bowled 1 game a piece and rented 2 pairs of shoes for 8.00 and got a $5.00 pitcher !!! Game changer !!

Clean well kept Bowling Alley. No problems with the pins getting stick or the balls. I noticed a few hang ups but the young man was quick to fix the situation. Nice game room with good selection plus pool tables. The food selection is ok but the time efficiency is not very good. Although the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed it so much we are having a birthday party there this weekend.

Amazing time had. Got beat but at least the atmosphere was great.

Not a bad place to bowl. A little dated. Cafe is hit or miss. Have been twice now and it was out of wings. One of those time was during the ?wing special? day. Service is good but can be slow.

Where do I start the floors are sticky the tables have random liquids on them trash everywhere there was trash in front of the windows in the game room with random cups of liquid and old food trash this place was a decent place to go a couple of years ago on a Friday but with the owner removing a lot of black artists of the jukebox (almost all rap music) and with the bowling machines they are even worse than they've ever been your paying them to mess up your 400$ bowling ball ?? my bowling shoes are also go

Lane locked up minimum of 3 times for two games. Lane 9&10. Balls not being retrieved. Ordered >$60 worth of food, came one at a time and wrong and cold. Cheese missing. Nachos with no jalape?os. The bowling lady at the counter did nothing to compensate for the inconvenience. Was actually upset that we brought it to her attention. We have been to a lot of bowling tournaments and never ran into these issues. We won't be back.

Very family-oriented with a great ambience. Very updated technology for serious bowlers, but friendly enough of an atmosphere for the amateur. Highly recommend getting your family out to shamrock bowling center. Jim P.

Great spot to get together with family and friends

Spent the day with my grands and had a great time. Staff was very friendly!!!

Don't use lanes 15 or 16, they broke repeatedly. Across the two games we bowled we had to ask for help at least 9 times.

Very friendly staff :) Great lil place just to get out and reasonable!

Friendly and courteous staff. Lanes in good condition and a great place to bowl.

Took grand kids, had $1 game and$1.50 shoe specials. They had a ball playing, three games played with shoes under $9. This is the way to go, but they do need to upgrade the game room for kids, also smells a little musty in there. But they enjoyed it. Will be going back next week??

Love the people and place, just bowling at it's base form, nothing extra or crazy, just good fun and food while bowling

While we didn't do a great job on the bowling, we had a really good time. Enjoyed a pitcher of beer and tried the mozzarella sticks which are out of this world.

Family fun at reasonable price with over 20 lanes open and a nice arcade with at least 4 pool tables. They do have a party room and a great restaurant on premises.

We had a great time! Customer service was great, the facility was really clean, and the arcade was small but fun (a couple of machines were jammed with coins). Will definitely come again! Loved the summer dollar days deal!

Had so much fun, as always. Planning to return again and again.

My grandson had his birthday party there yesterday. The food was ordered while they were bowling. After bowling the kids food was brought at least 20 mins after the adults. They completely shut down the cafe so no one could even order a drink They lady in the cafe was very rude. I think maybe they were short staffed, but knowing there were 2 parties, adequate staff should have been added.

My girlfriend and I stopped by to bowl on 03/01/2024 at around 7 pm. Our first issue was with the incredibly unhelpful and unenthusiastic female worker. We were waiting to be helped at the register while she just stared blankly and her demeanor made us feel like a burden when she finally helped. I asked for an hour of bowling, rather than per game. Immediately when we started playing I realized that our lane was messed up. My girlfriend missed every pin on her first throw and the game thought she hit 6 pins

We had a blast. A lot of younger people running around other than that had a great time.

Been 3 times now had a blast everytime.

We really enjoyed ourselves they have cops on premises so there is no worries about trouble. They do have a rule no children without an adult. They said because parents would drop kids off on the weekend and it's just to easy for them to leave with anyone else. So for everyones safety and well being the children under age 16 has to be with an adult. The atmosphere was great they have a bar inside the bowling alley which you can go order some beer and bring it out to the table at bowling alley. They have a g

Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed our time there.

The kids had a blast, but I lost a good bit of money due to the games running out of tickets and once they run out and they refill then they don't start back where they left off. But the ppl there were nice and made up for the missing tickets. It's just annoying that it not only did happen once or twice but 4 times within 2 hours.

Awesome Place Very Clean And very Family Friendly

$6.48 for 3 games on Wednesday, plus shoe rental!

Good atmosphere. Good customer service. I enjoyed myself there.

Nice peaceful environment. Haven't been in a while I went on A Thursday to shoot some pool which is my favorite past time..

I had a great time at shamrock bowling center. The staff was nice everyone had a great smile and friendly. The food was great and i would most definitely b back.

A few of the employees are quite rude, and thankfully, I didn't lose it. My family and I were having a good time. Too bad some folks don't know how to be polite. Our world today needs more nice people

It wasn't exactly terrible, but it wasn't very good either. Our balls kept getting stuck and we constantly had to go and ask for them to get our balls back. Our food wasn't very good either, we barley had any cheese, and our chips were stuck together. Honesty, to sum it up, go somewhere else if you can.

Very clean & Nice laid back spot to enjoy with fam or friends. 1st time there was a treat from our general manager at a previous job. I also celebrated my bday here 2 yrs ago with friends and co workers! Music/food/drinks. They also have another room with pool tables and arcade games. Nice set up and selection of fun.

They could use a little more entertainment, a little music...ability to order drinks and maybe small plates but otherwise nice place to carry the family out to bowl

We just had Kayleigh's 10th Birthday Party there and she had a blast!! The lady that was over everything was super sweet and did an Amazing job taking care of our every need. We will definitely come back!!!

Great time with my family. Only complaint is there was an old song playing that was definitely not appropriate for a family outing. Hopefully the kids didn't pick up on it.

I'd happily give this place a 5 out of 5! The service was great and the friendly staff even pointed out how to save some money! I'll definitely return sometime in the future!

I took my grandkids here to play in the game room, and they had a blast. We ordered food from the cafe and the pizzas and taco salad are delicious. If you take a crowd to bowl, I recommend Wednesday when they have a really great deal.

Fun for our family as always. The young lady that tok our order in the cafe was great and very helpful. Only draw back was that our food was cold when they brought it out.

KIDS ENJOYED THEY SELF!!!

Our favorite place to bowl. The staff are great! We take large groups 2-3 times a year without any problems. Wish they had automated bumpers, but staff are quick to accommodate the need for them.

Very clean. Knowledgeable staff. Decent prices and a ton of fun. Nice arcade for the young'uns and us older people who LOVE skee-ball. Went at a quiet time during the day. Was able to speak with the staff regarding some ball maintenance. Location was good with a lot of parking. Would definitely recommend!

Our balls kept getting stuck and no one got them. Also they couldn't get us service when we needed it. Lastly there food was not as good as they advertised it to be. I wish i could rate it a half star not a one ??

Very friendly and even let us stay about 20 mins over bc we didnt know it closed at 10. We where so grateful bc we drove from Cochran. You guys made our week better, thank you!

Awesome place to go have a good time! Cacey Perry is one of the most helpful employees there. You need anything he's right there to help. Very polite young man!

This place is fun. If they could modernize it and refresh it im sure it would bring alot of people and be even better than it is. Other than that it is fun and good family environment. Needs anninvestor to come in and build it up.

Fun times! Good customer service. Paid for 2 games but my 4 year old was ready to leave after the 1st game. They refunded my money for the 2nd game no questions asked.

If I could give zero star I most certainly would. I have been here multiple times and have never had a good experience. Where to start... the facility is old dingy run down and in desperate need of remodeling. I mean smoking is even still allowed in the bar area. So if I want to get an adult beverage (which I wouldn't recommend my $4 shocktop had an old and funky taste) you have to emerse yourself in the cigarette smell. The employees are very rude when approached with an issue/complaint, do not take pride

We had a good time but I'm pretty sure that guy overcharged us. My husband said 1 game for 3 ppl and it was like $21 for one game??? There were way to many teens just hanging all over ti thought it was only 3.50 or so per game.he arcade not even spending any money just hanging out cussing, making out, and tryna fight with each other. Smh suppose to be a fun family place.

Not bad, not great. It's not main event quality in terms of aesthetics and service. Afterall its the country! We had some issues where the machine was stuck.

Went for my grandsons birthday party. Staff was friendly and had the patience of Job. Very kind to the Children.

Love their Wednesday night specials.

I love taking my boys here Whether it's bowling or to play in the arcade. Granted half of the arcade games are messed up, but the employees really do you right when these mistakes happen. Top notch and great deals and they do so many crazy specials.

Had an awesome time. The customer service was awesome as well. I would definitely be return to this spot my next trip back.

Friendly staff, good service, they have a nice clean snackbar, the restrooms are handicap accessible, they have parking for handicapped lift equipped vehicles and the staff are always on hand to help you plan birthday parties special events, and they have a game room pool tables and something fun to do for people of all ages

The employees are great. The Philly steak sandwich is awesome. And the game room was great for the kids.

My wife and I even though we are not great bowlers we love going bowling just to have a good time and spend time with each other or when we're with our kids and this place was nice and clean and the staff was absolutely awesome! We played three games ate a little something and I don't believe we spent more than 60 bucks!

Loved it!! Nice and clean...friendly staff...had my kids bday party here and absolutely loved it...

Great family atmosphere. Grandkids has a blast. Cafe for snacks or dinner and drinks.

Had a blast great atmosphere and very fun and family oriented.

It was fun, good for the family. We had a blast and are thinking about going again soon.

Great friendly place to bowl. I do wish they had music playing in the background though.

Good place to go bowling but the staff are rude and place was nasty. They had food sitting out for over 10 mins then served the food. We will not go back!!!!

As always, I have fun at Shamrock Bowling Center. The staff is happy to see you, music is great and the snacks are yummy. Recommend to all stop by and have loads of family fun.

The owner is pretty rude ?? but i was there for my niece and her birthday but the owner could have been nicer

Went in today to bowl with my wife and 3 year old son and before I could ask if a lane was open I was rudley informed by the man behind the counter that there's a private party and that they're not open to the public at this time and that I need to leave . Sorry you lost my family's business for life.

My son Jameson love to go blowing here. He started with playing attention to game room. As he gets older his more into the blowing.

I had a great time. A wonderful place to take the family. I recommend it to anyone

My children and I love doing fun things and this place definitely fit the criteria. Only wish we could have found the lighter balls for my children to use.

Shot some pool today and played some games with my Granddaughter. We had a nice time here at Shamrock Bowling Center.

Lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. Overall experience was fun for myself and family

Great place. I had lots of fun and the staff was very nice.

I think it was the most amazing and very interesting experience for me, my sister, her friends sister, her friend and the baby of the girl that is friends with my sister

My daughter and her friends went here for her birthday. They had a great time.

Love to take my family here on there deal days staff is always helpful good clean familyfun

Games and bowling were fun. Food was okay, but we had to remind them of our burgers then they forgot the fries so had to go back and ask for them.

Enjoyed the place. Desk people very nice. Nice atmosphere also

Very friendly employees and a family oriented place. Come on out and see us.

I had a great time I love to bowl atmosphere was nice people acted with good spirits and staff was real nice.

Snack bar sucked last night waited on Nachos for over an hour still no Nachos service was rude when they wasn't on cellphones

Wasn't please with the lanes we were in kept getting out of use, we had to change to three different lanes

Is super expensive to go bowling there but I guess is that much anywhere I don't know but I did find out Wednesday is the best time to go Wednesday nights is the cheapest time to go bowling so that's what I'm going to do

Took the grandsons & had a blast! Very friendly clerk!!

The kids enjoyed themselves!! needs updating but other than that no problems!

Always a good time here! Check out the summer deals! 1-2$ shoe rentals and games!

Staff was nice, polite & very helpful. The music was good as well.

Shamrock's Bowling center is a staple in the community. We've been going there for many years, since the 90's. Everyone is pleasant and helpful!

Balls keep getting stuck and no one was working ticket counter, aswell as they told us refills were free then when we got one they asked us to pay for said refill.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
