Customer Reviews

Every positive thing about this location is overlooked due to one poor decision made my management. I ordered a few pitchers of soda (that I brought from the snack area to my own table) and was charged gratuity. There's no way to opt out. There's no way to get it refunded. Staff just says ?I don't know. It's in the computer and we can't take it off.? Forcing me to tip when there's no employee interaction is unacceptable. This policy alone is enough to give it zero stars if that were an option. Also- pricin

Great customer service, very clean and the food is pretty good. We had a 9yr old birthday party there recently and they helped us so much with putting the birthday cake back in their fridge Wonderful Place!

This is a descent bowling alley. They have leagues a few nights a week and can be busy, but a nice place to bowl. The house balls are a bit oily and beat up, but that's a house ball! The food is actually pretty good! Recommend the pizza and the club sandwhich.

Love these lanes. My sisters & I wanted to get down & knock some pins and even though it was league night, we were still able to get our little fix! I won btw

We've been a few times and have always had a great time. However, as the years go by, the service gets worse. I leave a reservation ?request? online today 4 hours before the time we wanted to go. Didn't hear back. After an hour, I Called twice. Left a message once. Never heard back. No email. No text. No call. We decided to take a chance and head up there. We got there and it wasn't the slightest bit busy. So, why can't anyone answer a call? Why are we having to place orders via a kiosk for drinks and waiti

It was really a fun place even the balls are a little bit oily.

Experience for Bowling State was awful. 60 lanes & they only had 2 helpers. It was senseless to have flags on the table to wave for help. Our ball wouldn't come back & it wasn't scoring correctly. Very pretty bowling alley with 60 lanes. At least they had a very attentive cocktail waitress & drinks were good. Did manage to roll a good singles game. Doubles was awful!

We had a blast bowling! We bowled for two hours, which was three games. We paid $15 for two hours each?it came out to like $75 for the four of us. The place is super big and clean with good technology. You can put bumpers on just one player, which is cool. The food is bar food, tenders and burgers.

Perfect place to go for a cooler vacation day ! We took the whole family (9 total) and had a blast ! We went in on a Tuesday and they had two dollar cheese pizza slices and the lane for two hour plus shoe rentals was discounted! The bar had a lot of options and they also had an arcade great for the kids!

Amazing!! We booked a birthday party and it was so smooth and the staff were very attentive! This place is literally the best for kids and adults to just have an all around great time! 10/10 Shannon was our host and she was the best!! Laser tag, arcade and the pizza was a hit with the kids!

Didn't realize how big it was inside,. Even when busy it didn't feel busy,.. Lots to do, . The pizza is yummy ?? the Lazer tag room is cool with lots of twist and turns. Lots of fun arcade games too ( kinda pricey though). Good place to go with family and friends.

So as a bowling alley, this is a little difficult to review. Reason being that it seems like most bowling alley are a bit dated, but that's also seemingly part of the appeal. As for the bowling area alone, this one is simply right on par with others. Nothing overly glamorous and some things that could be updated. Some of the technology is a bit outdated and the themes are nothing to brag about, but again..... it's a bowling alley and you go there to bowl. The food is as expected. Not a delicacy, but has a

Great bowling alley with 60! lanes offering a variety of different bowling games, or the classic ten pin. The scoring system offers different types of games, or allows your phone to track your score. The bowling alley has different restaurants, a bar and a tickets arcade. You can even order food and drinks directly from the lane.

"Would you like to leave a tip?" Yes I'd like to leave a tip. 30 dollars for 1 lane for 1 hour is way too expensive. Your balls are all chipped and greasy. Your staff have bad customer service skills, wasting my paid time making me figure out how to enable bumpers for my kid instead of just telling me how to do it. What else.. Your arcade sucks and your food area looks uninviting. The bowling shoes are so worn out I'm slipping all over the lane like it's covered in butter. If sales were down you s

Great hang out atmosphere! Pool tables full bar and bowling fir the family GARAUNTEED Fun

Great place! Lots of fun. Food and drinks. We had a birthday party there.

The overpriced crappy pizza and extremely unnecessarily rude staff of teens was making our fun night out a bad experience for our whole family. Not worth the crazy amount of money spent here.

Had a lot of fun here. They hosted a day of bowling with several military veterans. They have good food and good service. Enjoyed bowling, food, and the arcade. Definitely a place to bring your family for a fun evening.

Bowling alley is clean and pretty large. Moderate pricing. The arcade was a bit on the medium to small side but there's a good amount of games and they were quite fun!! I would recommend going on Mondays anytime or Weds after 6 to get an extra 10 dollar credit towards arcade games when you put in 20 bucks. You get a card that you can easily load up and use over and over again which is quite nice. Since we went on a Monday it was pretty much dead until after dinner time. So we had the place to ourselves. The

Me and my boyfriend have regular date nights here and we absolutely love it! It's a great atmosphere for date nights solo or in a large group! Heather at the bar is amazing we absolutely love her!

Fun place to hang with my kids. Lanes were clean, lighting was good, music for everyone. The staff was very helpful if I needed anything. We will be back to try some of what's on the menu next.

This place is a great time for the family! They have lanes that you can program the bumpers for each bowler. So you can play with kids on the same lane with and without bumpers. They also have a couple of bars, restaurant, game room, and pro shop that can get your balls in prime order. We can't wait to come back and have a blasty blast!

It's been 35 years since I last stopped at Seminole lanes. My Mom and sister bowl on a league. The place is amazing. I had a soda and some chips while I was there.

The prices here for food and beverages are astronomically high, and the vending machine food,..! A pack of Starburst $3 bucks. Theanes we played on weren't oiled

Brought a group of seniors that have never played or haven't played in decades. Montel was amazing, patient with us and helpful! Would highly recommend this for a fun couple of hours!

Great lanes. Very large and clean facility. It does however have the strangest bathroom with a urinal in the weirdest space imaginable.

Staff was very pleasant with the exception of the guy that locked is bike ?? on the handicap ramp. When I mentioned that his bike may make it difficult for a wheelchair to access the door he responded that he didn't care. The pool ?? tables and game room were very clean and all the games were functioning well. We had a great time!

Had my son's birthday here today. Everyone had an awesome time thanks to Naz and Justin making us all feel super welcome and making sure we had a great time!! Thank you for making my son's 12th birthday so special.

These lanes are the worst I've ever bowler at ! The bathrooms are just stupid with their setup . The lane conditions for a state tournament were not wet at all. Several bowlers I know won't bowl there and now I know why !!!!

The lanes are amazing. Food is a little on the pricey side, so you may have to get creative with how you order. For example, the Turkey club is huge. And if you brought an extra slice of bread: one turkey club sandwich could serve 4 meat eaters and 4 vegetarians. You're welcome.

2 for 1 shots & awesome tournament space ! Had a great time!

Great place for families. We enjoyed every second, non only bowling but even other games for little ones ore adults as well. Was a good choice for a fun evening. A lot of parking outside. The food is good and tasty as well but the portions were a bit small than we expected.

Pizza and wings were delivered quickly. The lane was not overly crowded. The group there was friendly.

Montez at the front desk is amazing and professional .the letter boxes if you have the kid that wants to play video games or the kid that wants to bowl and look at video game stuff. Because of the different game animatronics plus laser tag. That's not even including leagues that I don't do and the bar so price point is on and the best two locations

Last minute run to do a little bowling. Haven't been bowling for a long time. Went early evening and the bowling alley wasn't crowded. Very clean facility but not much help. The person that was at the counter helping was very friendly. They were not a lot of people bowling. Everything was straightforward easy and clean. My biggest disappointment was that there was no hand sanitizer in any of the dispensers.

Great service with very nice employees. Had a blast while bowling. Alyssa was so helpful. Excellent customer service, clean environment. A variety of games and food on the menu. The pizza is a bit pricey but it was okay decent size.

Here for the state USBC tournament. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent time would hope tournament returns here afain

Went with a group of Military Vets and the staff treated US all well and accommodated with food and beverages. Good lanes and good vibes.

Always a great experience here. My kids really enjoy the updated game room. A little pricey but there are days where it is discounted a bit.

Good lanes. Lots of space. Great vibes for cosmic bowling. Food is pretty good.

Seminole Lanes has the gutter bumpers for kids, lots of kids ball selections, a good snack bar and a video arcade with all kinds of games. Lots to do plus electronic score keeping.

I was told I couldn't bowl due to a policy requiring players on adjacent lanes to approve it?even though there were 10 open lanes. I was told to wait an hour, which makes no sense. Why turn away a paying customer when lanes are available, just because I'd need permission from others to use an empty lane. New policy required.

Initially I was very impressed the bowling alley is huge and love the non traditional seating and digital displays. Very modernized. However we couldn't order food from our kiosk had to walk to the other end of the bowling alley to order food. You can not get alcoholic drinks in the same place that you order food. You have to walk to the other side of the building for that. All the employees were nice. The arcade was a decent size for a bowling alley and all the games worked. The burger was very low quality

Family fun for all ages, nice arcade and laser tag. We had a great time.

The center was nice, but it was a bit warm. The approach was a little tacky.

It was so much fun for the family! The kids love this place. They have over 60 lanes to bowl on, so you never have to wait to bowl. It's has an awesome arcade and laser tag, too! We got an hour of bowling, which is perfect because the kids get bored after 3 games anyway. They have great pizza and snacks that the family will love like loaded cheese fries. They bring the food right to your bowling lanes. Great place with a nice atmosphere. It's worth every penny!

Had a great time. Good for family and groups for fellowship. The only thing preventing me from doing 5 stars was the dropping of my pizza order. But they took care of it quickly.

To start we will be positive here, the bar tenders that we're working the night of Friday 7/26 were amazing the lady training the new girl we're both awesome ! But regarding the management staff of the rest of the place we're down right disgusting rude and out of pocket. My boss simply requested a invoice of the total bill for our job and they were down right disgusting and rude dropping f bombs over the phone blaming my bosses wife for a problem that we had nothing to do with left us with ZERO communicatio

Great place for a kids bday. There's an arcade, laser tag, bar, and obviously cool bowling lanes

There for a tournament. The staff was fantastic and the lanes great.

GREAT place to have a birthday party for kids or adults young at heart. Enjoy bowling, arcade & laser tag all in one place. Pizza was good & beverages reasonably priced.

I was disappointed to find a gift card I was given was no longer being accepted. I was surprised since it was paid for with NO EXPIRATION DATE! I will check with the Attorney Generals office on selling gift cards and not honoring them.

We had a blast here, plenty of lanes, good chicken tenders, great arcade. What a throwback!

Decided to go bowling for my birthday, family with children joined me and was a really good experience overall. Everything was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and there were quite a few people working, so any questions I had were answered fairly quickly and professionally. Everything in the place was in great shape, lanes and scoring machines were perfect! We did the laser tag which was fun, especially with the 3 kids. They have a massive arcade that looked fun, but I will have to check that out next tim

This is a cool bowling alley! The lights and music were dope, the pizza was good too and they have a small arcade & laser tag. Good little spot for a night in when it's raining or a small party

Had a great time bowling with some friends. The lanes were nice and the balls nice and round, but unfortunately between the 4 of us, our combined score was less than 300....not sure what the deal is with that.

Great bowling alley and great food. Only thing I will say is that customers here are WAY to loud, I wish the staff would tell people to shut up sometimes. Teenagers screaming profanity right near children, and adults doing the same.

Always a great atmosphere though the real fun starts at night of course. Always been a fan of galactic bowling, it also has a decent size arcade that has like relatively like all new. Food is ok, only complaint If you go on a Friday/ Saturday from the the mid to late after till they close it's packed and you have to just wait for people to be done. I've waited for as long as 3 hours... But there was a silver lining we just got smashed and had a delightful evening.

We visited this establishment on a rainy day during spring break. They did get busy but we were able to get two lanes. The laser tag, game room and bar were closed (we were there around noon) but the snack bar was open. They only had one staff member working the snack bar and she was very busy. We were disappointed to find none of the snack bar items were gluten free so settled for a small bag of Cheetos from the vending machine and a cup of ice water. We were also a bit put-off by witnessing a male employe

Great new arcade area all redone b. Really had a nice time!!! 5 stars ??

The halo game in the arcade was awesome, my 5yr old had so much fun & enjoyed it for his birthday!!! It was 4 players which I've never seen before & we also played Jurassic park which was an older game but He loves dinosaurs & didn't want to shoot them.

Something about this place I've been here a few times & the service is great. Air conditioning is the best and the pizza is a hit for bowling food we had a blast and will be back.

Nice large bowling alley with snack b?r. We has just had dinner so we didn't eat however the pizza smelled good and the food all looked appetizing! There are pool tables and a great arcade area, fun for kids and adults! Next time we will make a night of it. Bowling, order food and play arcade games. I highly recommend this!

Staff look overworked. I spoke to a manager called McKenzie. She was drunk or exhausted and was barely coherent when answering questions. Poorly trained and drunk or tired was a common theme among the staff. They could not provide decent service. They treated me and my family terribly. Awful experience. Liberty Lane's staff were awake and kind, it was a much better experience.

Joined tampa bay club sports and play in a bowling league here. Such a huge bowling alley with 20+ lanes, great pro shop - Bev is awesome, and the bar has decent drinks.

I only bowled a game here. The oil patterns were a bit slick, but I still had fun. I came here with my little cousins and aunt. I'm a league bowler from North Carolina and came to visit family here in St. Pete. I bowl league at Woodleaf Lanes, a 24-lane bowling center in Salisbury, North Carolina. This bowling center is about 2 1/2 times bigger than Woodleaf, but they still have the same Brunswick synthetic lanes, A-2 pinsetters and custom masking units. I had one of my bowling balls (of course, I brought m

Brings me back in time to when family was stronger, things were better. Great arcade, good food, lanes fill up.

Was great! Went yesterday on the 9th. Big place with tons to do besides bowl. Kids bowl free for an hour during the summer. Food was great! Very friendly staff

Best place for bowling in the area. I've enjoyed Seminole Lanes for many years.

We went with a group from work they go there every year. Love the new updated look. The food was not the greatest but it was about to find and the drinks

We had such a great time bowling at Seminole Lanes! We took our 3 grandsons on a Saturday afternoon. We reserved a lane, Robin was very helpful with that process. It is a clean, very nice facility.

absolutely love seminole lanes! ever since coming to seminole lanes, i?ve never changed to a difference bowling alley! they have a bar that u can play pool at, arcade games, food/snacks, and even laser tag! really clean and always have fun! staff are really fun and nice!

Had my son?s 9th birthday party here. I hate giving 1 star reviews but this place honestly needs management change. Robin ?E? was supposed to help set up the party. She told me that I had to pay 3 days before the party which was fine however when I went to pay the link on the email would not load. When I reached out to find out why, I could not get in touch with Robin at all. Finally upon Friday after calling several times I was transferred to her. When I said who I was she immediately became belligerent ho

It's clean and friendly. They are working on improving the aesthetics all the time. Bowling alley was redone a few years ago and recently added a fantastic game arcade (huge, lots of ?ticket winning games?) with great prizes. There also updated a bar area. I still think I like the food better at Liberty lanes in largo but my kids beg for me to take them to Seminole lanes.

Good time for families and friends. Price is acceptable for the experience.

I simply don't like bad attitudes. If I ask about the status of my food, don't cop an attitude when I clearly came to ask due to me waiting for a long period of time. Use your common sense. Then the food was sitting in the back the whole time. Why did every one else of different race have theirs placed out front but me, a black man?s food was placed in the back. ?? never again though all because of the tall Caucasian lady at the food courts attitude.

It's nice place to hang out with friends and family

Good place for family fun with bowling, games, and laser tag. It's on the expensive side.

Kids bowl free for the Summer! We drove over to check out this place from St Pete, we usually go to Sunrise. This spot is larger, cleaner and has more arcade games and the laser tag. Staff were friendly, bathroom was clean. We'll be back!

We had my 6 year old grandson's birthday party here, and we had a blast! The place was pretty busy and offered a lot of activities besides bowling. There's an arcade and several pool tables. We ordered pizza for the kids and it was pretty good. The interior was super clean, as was the ladies room. I would definitely come back. I also recommend this establishment for a fun night out for families, friends, or even for a date night.

Fun modern bowling games, friendly staff. The food options are pretty yummy but a little pricey. The arcade is a lot of fun.

Great place for bowing, solid pricing too.

Their reservation system is horrendous. they severely need an update, their numbers don't work either.

Fantastic place to have fun with family and friends

Good atmosphere but a little pricey

Been going here for years the service is great. The remodel is beautiful. One of the cleanest places around. Good food.

I'm writing this review because of how my boss was treated after we went here for a corporate event the office manager and the manager of the bowling alley was very rude and disrespectful to our boss and our whole team dropping cuss words accusing people of things that did not even happen they charged us for a lane. We didn't even use. We spent a lot of money while we were at our corporate function and none of us will ever be back to Seminole lanes. Being we are all in customer service, making sure that our

Great place for the family, Its always busy so make sure you go to the website to make a reservation so when you show your now turned away waiting for a lane. 2+hrs wait on the weekend. I took off 1 star just because we were at the VERY end lane 3 and when i order my family of 7 $90 worth of food i requested for it to be brought to us as it was an option on the tablet. Well i got a text saying my food was ready so we continued our game and the food never came so we all had to stop bowling to go get our foo

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
