We had a great time here! I could spend hours here! Half arcade games half pinball. Thank you so much for keeping such a fun place going!
When I found out about scanlines. I have turned into an avid pinball enthusiast. They have tournaments on the first of every month. Nice atmosphere. Bring a clean empty beverage cup and Ryan can fill it up with fresh quarters. They have cup holders hanging off the pinball machines. Sunday is half price day for all pinball machines. Godzilla and Mars Attacks are my favorite pinball machines. The bathroom is spotless and has godzilla and king Kong retro posters and diverse retro memobellia. Stools are availab
Great time for the entire family with a great variety of cabinets, pinball machines, and even consoles preloaded with games. Very chill atmoshere to sit and watch the kids have a good time or show them who's boss at mortal combat.
Great variety of pinball machines and a lot of arcade games. A good place to spend the afternoon having fun.
Could use a better sign on dixon to help find the place but otherwise really cool and reasonably priced. Can't wait to see how much better it gets
Fun experience overall. Has a lot of good pinball games. Decently priced sodas. The quarter candy was more generously sized compared to Vendor City. Area 51 brings you back to the fun of the light gun era. I haven't used an arcade gun since the last time I played arcade at Castleton a few years ago. Judgment Day is nice enough to have a center block at all times. They also have normal Pacman for you pros out there. Arkanoid is an old classic! The only downside: your Monopoly game ate 4 of my quarters a
This was awesome place and has all the old fun arcade games. Highly recommend this place
There is not a lot of games in here but it is really quiet laid back place to play some old school arcade games. They have a big selection of pinball. If you're a pinball fan this is your place to go. A great hidden gem to bring you back to the day of the arcade.
If you are an 80's kid and loved the arcade you are in luck. Scanline is great you will love it I am sure!
It's a great little hidden gem in Kokomo to just hangout and play some old school arcade games. I got to replay games from my childhood like racing, and area 51 light gun arcade, pinball, and the classic Pac-Man. My son loved it as well. It was his first time ever trying pinball.
Great bit of 90s nostalgia. Got to show my son what it was like being a teen back then they have all the classic cabinets.
If you enjoy pinball, old video games, foos ball, pool and new video games Scanline Arcades is the place you want to visit. For $5.00 per person you get all that and more. Some games cost extra to play but it's still a great value and offers a family friendly environment. **update** recently went to Scanlines and was surprised to find a lot of games now cost extra to play, including all the pinball machines, and the big tv with new games is gone.
Went with my brother and his girlfriend. Very 70?s vibe, easy to get lost in. Mortal Kombat, classic pac man, boating game, Nintendo?s, 70?s-80?s music. Overall an amazing environment. Paid $30 for all of us, $10 each and very worth it.
Such a great atmosphere and new games everytime we come in, absolutely love the new pinball star wars, and the retro style to all the classics! You'll have a great time here for sure!
Just moved back to the area and I'm pleased that I found some pinball to play, as well as a ton of cabinet games. The guy working was knowledgeable and friendly, with the games in pretty good working order. I will definitely be back.
Best place to play stand up video games and pinball machines in the area. They also have contests and giveaways.
Game selection was great. There's also a foosball table and billiards. Spent most of my time playing Soulcalibur. Definitely worth stopping in!
Fun place to go in Kokomo!
Blast from the past!!!! This is a hidden gem. If you want to experience the days of the arcades, this is the place.
Awesome place to play games. Great atmosphere. Killer prices. 10/10
Cash only and super cold. Had good variety of games and consoles. Nice environment
Had a great experience with this place. Lots to do for everyone.
Lots of cool games here
This place is awesome.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
