Family of 5. We Went on a Sunday and had a blast! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Rode around the race track once, Had fun playing golf, and then then played arcade games the rest of the night. I love that you can put $20 on a card and play as much as you want an hour. The kids loved it. You can only play on the games with the green light, but there are so many different games to play. There are other card options as well(I posted pictures of the prices). Food price was very reasonable. Did
I love this place. My friends and I enjoy coming here to be kids again. We went on a Wednesday when school was in and there was no one. Mini golf is always fun and arcade also
I've been coming here since I was little and I'm so happy this place is still here to bring my kids to! We've noticed they've gotten a new ride outside too and a bunch of new games! Definitely one of our favorites to make a whole day out of.
Fun place to bring the family for fun. There is an arcade but also other fun activities to do like mini golf. Great for local families or those staying in the area!
This is the most expensive kid entertainment in the area. $60 for a few friends to play mini golf for an hour is insane. Also I believe the go carts are rigged. They don't all go the same speed, and they're electronically controlled to slow you down if they see you're wining.
Fun. Arcade was a blast. Golf course was great except for the unplayable parts. Golf course had some construction on it, would have been nice to know before hand as a large section was unplayable and hard to move babys stroller through. Lots of great arcade games but some are worn out. Light gun games that don't fire or are missing pieces, axe throwing game that never records a hit right, stuff like that. But still super fun to take your kids. My baby was in a stroller for most of it but still had a great t
The batting cages, arcade, what a great time our family had. Excellent for children and families. Thank you to a wonderful team and group of managers.
The go carts where super fun and the tower that drops you was also pretty cool some fun games. Ordered chicken strips and twice they had to remake them because they were still cold and uncooked on the inside So we finally said forget it and gave up on the snack but games and activities were cool to do.
Scandia is a fantastic place to take the family for a fun outing. We frequently stop here when passing through and it never disappoints. At Scandia there are two 18 hole miniature golf course with lighting for night time games. This is one of the best maintained mini golf courses in the area and contains fountains/ponds, castles, windmills, as well as a variety of difficult holes located on either of the courses. Both courses come together on the final hole, number 18, for a one shot chance to win a free r
Had my adult friends birthday here and we were all treated very nicely. Great place for kids and kids who?ve grown up.
My boyfriend and I come here pretty often. It's a nice fun place to go to when you want to have some arcade fun, racing on the go carts, or even competing in mini golf. It does get a bit crowded on the weekends but other than that I will say it's a fun place to go with family friends or even a date!
this plae is alright. the mini golf is mid and the course is falling apart in some places. the waterboats go way too slow and aren't fun. the sky drop is great because it goes up and down multiple times. the go carts a slower then other places. the arcade is the best thing there especially when they have pokemon cards as a prize.
I had a really good time here. One thing I thought was cool was the cards you could purchase to play unlimited times for a certain duration you purchased (e.g. 1 hour or 2 hours). It lets you focus on having fun rather than trying to do math in your head etc. Thank you having us Scandia Family Fun Center!
Took my great niece here for a day pizza was not to good but everything else was on point I wish they had like a little water park pool something the heat was to much but overall I had a great time nice place not to crowed
Got to come to this place after many years. Quite a bit had changed. My husband and I had a lot of fun on the games. Felt like being little kids again, and brought back so many nostalgic memories for us both. We had a great time, and will definitely be back one day.
Normal fun park for the family, a lot of facilities are old but having this in this area is good for relaxing your mind, since there is no other attraction in this area.
Loved this place! The holes were very themed and lots of fun for the whole family. We even rode the go carts on a huge track and to top it off there were so many games and attractions we will have to come back for more. Best part was my girlfriend won a free game by making a hole in 1 on the last hole!
Took my daughter here to play games. For the price, most of the arcade games are broken, un maintained, and the teenage staff is super rude. If you pay to play these games, you should be able to reap the rewards you come for. It was one of the games my daughter killed on tickets and points. She hit bonuses multiple times, 25 tickets multiple times on the ball drop machine. We went to go get her a prize and not only are the prize machines about empty but the game did not recognize all the tickets she won and
Always stop here on the way south. Lots of fun. Mini-golf, Go-Karts, Arcade, Waterboats, batting cages & misc. Don't forget about the food, ?? yum! Fun Entertainment for all. Very clean and has a friendly staff.
Awesome place for Kids and Adults! Mini golf, Batting cages, bumper boats, go cart racing, carnival rides and my personal favorite...The arcade. Modern Pinball, connected to IC (Stern). Hella cheap too. If you buy the $100 point card you get 150 bonus points. Which means you only pay about .85 cents per pinball game??. That's the best part. Some other places I know charge a ridiculous amount.. like $2.50/game. That's a no brainer. ??????
Great activities to do with family or date. Mini golf is always fun. Currenlty inside arcade is closed due to COVID. Whoever designs the outside deserves a raise. Cool things to look at and BEAUTIFUL gardening! 4 stars as (although there were MANY signs to keep masks on) many customers/ fellow mini golfers were walking around and coming over to chat to us without wearing masks. No one seemed to be enforcing the mask policy.
An amazing place for kids and adults alike! Our first amusement centre visit in San Franciso and it was gooooood! Definitely taking the kids there again!
As a 19 year old I've NEVER gone out of my way to make a review but here's my experience: their kiosks don't accept debit cards so I asked the light brown haired medium length guy if Scandia has an atm? which he says no (in a rude tone) so I ask if he knows of one close by and he just shakes his head rudely again?. Extremely poor customer service and not worth your time tbh
Always fun to be here, the kids love it and me too, I wish they would be less strict with the height for the racing cars.
Great place to have fun and share with family and friends. Both 18 holes minigolf courses are challenging and well designed; The pirates blaster boats are exciting, and forget coming out dry from the water cannon battle. The spin zone bumper cars will make you spin and laugh as you crash into other wild drivers; at the little indy race track you will test your go-kart pilot skills. There are batting cages for baseball enthusiasts at a very affordable price; The arcade has old and new games and the food cour
Not all arcade games were available.... No tickets to purchase the goodies at the end, which was a bummer cause my kids look forward to that part. Overall is was fun for the couple hours we spent there!
Fun rides you can do with kids as young as 3-4. Bumper boats are 3 seats, go carts are 2 seats and the speeds/track feel safe for kids riding shotgun.
This place isn't wheelchair accessible whatsoever. They sold me a ticket for mini golf without ever telling me the course wasn't accessible! My friends had to help me down an entire set of stairs and my wheelchair didn't fit on the side of any courses so I had to roll onto the course itself and jump up and down ledges with my chair. Absolutely foul of them to not warn me.
We bought the platinum package which included 3 rides, 40 credits and one game of minature golf. Was a decent deal. We only had to buy extra games for all of us to play minature golf. Some of the boats were not working but luckily there was only two of us were on the ride so we were able to get one that worked. Minature golf was good. Took about an hour and a half for 2 adults and 3 kids to get through the course. We had a blast. The arcade closes down at 9pm on weekdays. So if you plan on doing rides, golf
Great place to spend time with friends or family. The arcade had great options as far as pricing and games. The mini golf looked so cool! The bathroom needed a little attention, but overall, I would go back.
Our group of 10 loved the mini golf course here! This park can be overwhelming at first, but once we got started with the course everyone enjoyed it. Afterwards we had a group split off into the bumper boat section. Although at first it seems mostly for kids, our group of adults loved it. You will be soaking wet if you do the boats, but it was so worth it.
This place never changes, but that's what I love about it. Nostalgic!! Great fun on the golf course. Fun time to have with the kids.
I caught my very first hatenna there she is my guardian angel named jenova from final fantasy but she saved me from getting into trouble by crossing the yellow line I Almost did to get into a restricted area to catch the pokemon to even catch it but thankfully I didn't actually need to she saved me the trouble I could have been in
The Scandia family fun center was a great place for kids we came for a yes day and we had a blast we went to the arcade and it was great
Cool place with a lot of activities to do both for kids and adults. Only downsides are it's a bit expensive and a bit rundown. Quite a few of the games were out of service. Otherwise would be a solid five star!!
Haven't been here in quite a while, still smells the same lol not bad. Just nostalgic ?? All the games use a card. If you don't have a card you just ask the front desk people and after that you can load it up at the kiosk quite easily. All the games are either 5 or 10 credits ( there in maybe 2 or 3 games that are 2/3/4 credits ) Lots of two player games and everything seemed realitivly clean. My boyfriend and his friend had quite a fun time, lots of newer games also. I will say, the saloon game was th
I remember when Scandia in RP was brand new. I worked security on the weekends... I am surprised it is still in operation. That is good news!
The arcade is well maintained and clearly run with some care. They recently converted their DDR machine to an open source software that lets you bring on your own steps and music, very cool. The mini golf and other outdoor amusements offered are pretty high quality as well.
My friends and I had a good time at Scandia Family Center in Rohnert Park. For about $30, we got to enjoy mini-golf, arcade games, and the Lil? Indy Raceway. The mini-golf course was well-maintained and fun, the arcade had a good variety of games (though a few machines were out of order), and I'd say the most fun was at the Lil? Indy Raceway. The only minor issue was that when we went outside to do the Lil? Indy Raceway for the first time, there was no one there, and no signs indicating what was going on or
Cool place to hang out with kids. They have a good enough 18 hole mini golf, with interesting landscape features to keep the kids ?in the hunt?. Loved the 18th hole for their special motivation! Wish the Golf Putts were sanitized before handing over to the customers, specially during the times we are just getting over the pandemic and also just something that's a norm post pandemic. Same thing with the batting cage and equipment, which otherwise seem a lot of fun. But I could not get my kid to hit the cage,
Your wait times for different attractions may vary put on average it's usually 10 minutes or less
Mini golf was fun with the family, though admittedly there were a few tunnels that weren't working, regardless we made it work and it didn't take out the fun.
Fun place to take my kids here to have a fun time at the miniature golf, arcades, and other things. I remember going here when I was little. Staff is friendly here so I recommend taking your kids here a little fun time.
They do a great job maintaining the areas and updating the arcade games (the pinball selection is excellent). However, when something is broken even in a minor way, it can take multiple weeks before it's repaired.
It was fun. This one didn't have the bigger go carts. But it was still fun.
The unlimited wristband for 2 hours is an awesome deal for a kid learning how to play skeeball. I will come back again if I travel through this town in the future.
Be nice if they didn't let creeps aggressively hog the dance game. And leave their shit on it. When they're not there. Or fix the other one.
So much fun with the niece and nephews! We went on a Friday and it wasn't terribly busy, allowing us to do all the things the kids wanted (and a little pinball for the grownups). Can't wait to go again on our next visit!
Been coming here since Burger King was still being served. Great place to play with the kids although expensive.
My first time there... our group of 6 adults did the mini golf and everything was clean and well maintained. We had a lot if fun!!
Love that it's the same place as when I grew up! Classic. My brother hit the ball over the actual castle Lolol.
The go karts are always fun and amazing as well as having a great time with the batting cage as always! Me and my girlfriend also had a great time with the cute mini golf course!
Just had the most positive interaction with the manager Taylor. I came here with my son and his friends for her birthday party and we had a less than positive interaction with an employee. Not only listen to what we had to say. It was kind enough to us. Everything possible to make our experience better. That alone was very kind and greatly appreciated. I've been coming to Scandia since about 1979 with my parents and now I'm coming here with my children. It's nice to know there are still very good managers t
Their hours on Apple Maps say they close at 11PM on Saturday. These low life, low reward teenage employees had the entire place shut down and were kicking everyone out by 10PM. Stole our money because we expected to have an hour more to use the game points? would not recommend. Arcade has also decreased in quality over the years. No more skill games, all of them are on set payout rates like a casino.
It was too crowded here. Golf was impossible with long waits to putt. Parking was insufficient. Many games not operational.
Fun place to visit I've been going here for years
STAFF IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Prices are fair - not cheap for arcade but will be an amazing memorie to make with friends / family Great team here !! Specially for most of them being young teens / adults they are all super respectful and have a great vibe going on! Super clean and fresh inside arcade , i recommend to play $100 arcade get your moneys worth and mini golf has two sides so make sure to play both !! Scored a hole in one @18th hole and even the staff was cheering haha !! Great energy Batting cag
Excellent arcades games, lots of pin ball. So much fun for kids and adults! Very friendly staff. Overall great experience.
Seriously gone downhill. Don't waste your money, Half of the games will not work with timed swipe cards. Not to mention a huge amount of machine have been vandalized and are not in operation. Find another place to entertain your kids.
Great Sunday night fun mini golf is great the arcade inside is all computerize just swipe your card and there are no tickets to deal with everything is on your card
Decent place to spend 1-2 hours. $20 for 2 hour unlimited arcata game play. Batting cages were your typical cages. Kind of run down outside, could use some TLC. Good place to kill 2 hours with kids.
We had so much fun golfing and going on the rides.
Great place to visit birthday parties and family fun affordable
Don't get fooled into buying their $20 ' unlimited play afternoon deal'. 3/4 of the games aren't playable and the ones that are get no tickets. We played for an hour and when trying to redeem tickets for a prize, we had none which led to a very disappointed little girl. Positive is the food was inexpensive.
Great for families!! We had a blast.
They have updated many of the arcade games since my last visit. Much more pleasant experience. Go karts were only running 5 cars but lines were short. Overall not a bad experience. Worth the money decent amount of fun. Food is surprisingly cheap.
Staff was awesome! We had so much fun. I was shocked it was so affordable.
My family and I only go to Rohnert Park because it's between San Francisco and various summertime day trip traditions in Sonoma and Napa counties. And we only go to one place in Rohnert Park: Scandia. I love older family arcades like Golfland, Malibu Grand Prix (no longer in Redwood City), and Neptune's Kingdom in Santa Cruz. I still play air hockey with my kids, I still play music games like DDR, I still enjoy playing skeeball, I still enjoy losing on a Street Fighter or Tekken machine. Scandia has all of
This place was so much fun! The mini golf was really well designed, though I do wish there was more shade along the course for daytime golfers. The arcade had a nice variety of games and prizes which is always a delight for me. My only warning to anyone reading is: Don't get the pizza. ?? It is beyond greasy to the point I couldn't finish my second slice. And I won't tell you what happened afterwards. ??
The kids had fun at the arcade, the food ordering required a reminder to the staff so could get everything ordered. When encountered problem with the auto point card dispenser the staff was quick to resolve the issue. Planned on doing mini golf but staff began to shut everything down an hour and fifteen mins before the posted closing time. Leaving the arcade open until nine thirty. While there is fun to be found be aware that the posted closing time isn't accurate.
Good little place to spend an afternoon or evening. Go Karts, batting cages, miniature golf and arcade are all fun. A little expensive, but fun none the less.
I loved going there when I was a kid. They have the best arcade games in existence. One of my personal favorite arcade game was The Simpsons. Besides going with family, I once used to go there with my youth center group back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Don't get me wrong, mini-golf and go-cart races are still fun as well. Overall, its an amazing place to have fun.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
