Solid little joint to have fun on a cold day! All the workers were amazingly helpful with all our questions and helped us have a great time. We did putt putt and arcade games. We'll definitely be back.
We had a great time celebrating my granddaughters birthday! The only issues we had were the prices. It cost so much to take a family out for a celebration $80 for food and $95 to play laser tag and golf. The food was okay, service was great, the only issue was timing, they only had 1 oven for 4 pizzas. Our server was beyond amazing and she kept apologizing. Not her fault at all.
Had a wonderful time here for the first time! Went to visit on 2/7 for an early Valentine?s Day time and the establishment and staff was wonderful! Big shout out to Brad and his team, their professionalism as well as being attentive with any questions or suggestions was outstanding. If they are up for a raise I know they deserve to be taken care of to the standard they care for their costumers, above and beyond. The whole layout from arcade, put put, to laser tag was epic and honestly is was probably one of
Came in early Friday and it was clean and not busy at all. The guy at the front desk was friendly and professional. Went here for the glow in the dark mini golf. It was fun and my boys enjoyed the pirate theme. ?? Will come back again with more ppl so we can try out the Lazer tag.
My 12-year-old son had a birthday party here. We have never been here before. Our host was really friendly, enthusiastic, and informational. She had an itinerary, which was very easy to follow, and we knew exactly what we were doing and how long we actually had for each attraction. We had the captains birthday party package, which includes three attractions. They have three areas: laser tag (large 2 level Arena), mini golf (more than 10 holes), and arcades. They have tickets games to win prizes. We chose la
We went here for a fun family adventure with family from out of town that we rarely get to see. We had 3 adults and 3 kids under the age of 6. We bought 2 games for each player. One game of laser tag, and one game of mini golf- Roughly $85. While waiting for our laser tag game to start we went to order some popcorn, and they were out. It wasn't the cleanest, food and trash all over the floor when you first walk in. We first went into laser tag. Our laser tag game included 28 people. They start off by giving
It's a great place to take your kids. The prices are super reasonablazer. Tags their main attraction and it's $25 for 3 hours. If you go on groupon, you can get 2 people for $25 for 3 hours. They also have arcade games and miniature golf and a little Food food kiosk.I guess nothing special.Just enough to get by. I have never personally had a party there but every time I go there are groups of people having parties but it's never been too crowded.
First visit today with two boys age 8 & we will be back! The lady at the front desk today was super nice! We had a fun time going through the pirate themed glow in the dark blacklight golf course. Full 18 holes. Ventured over to laser tag, also pirate themed in a big pirate ship and the boys LOVED it. We didn't plan to do the arcade but we did. All games were working and the area was clean. We got a large cheese pizza and I was seriously impressed how good that pizza was. Everyone was so nice from start to
This is a great place to bring your family! Absolutely loved it. Kiddos had a blast. Prices are awesome. The food is good. Laser tag was a blast and mini golf. Super fun arcade games. The staff was great and informative. Will definitely be coming back.
My daughter had a birthday party to attend that was held here. I brought my son with me, and we all had a great time! The laser tag was super fun, pirate themed, and the multiple stories made for lots of running! The pizza and popcorn were good, and they had a very clearly laid out "party agenda" so everyone could tell at a glance when food would come out, even the next game was, etc. What a great idea! The arcade had a good mix of games to just play and games that got you tickets. They use reloadable c
Fun place to let the kids play while you have a beer. We had my my little homies 10th bday party here today and all the kids had a great time! Nothing but smiles! The staff was very helpful and friendly! We will definitely be back again!
My husband and I played the 18 hole mini golf here and we were very impressed! We had a blast and loved all the decor. This is a very fun experience and I definitely recommend checking it out.
Is super fun. Never busy but should be! The games are fun and the mini golf is amazing let's get this place busy it should be! They could use a few more games and prizes but the pretzels are good, they have food and a decent space. Take friends and have fun!
UPDATE: We went back for another birthday party only a few weeks after my initial review and were surprised to see the video games had been updated. I'm not sure how often the video games are rotated but we were glad to see new options. Our family, again, had a good time. The only drawback was that the small children had to wear the bulky vests for laser tag because the gun-only option for the little ones was no longer available. Still, we all had a good time. We enjoyed our experience enough to schedule a
I had a great time here with my grandson. We used the Groupon and played laser tag. The games are really fun and not expensive. The guys that work here were awesome and they seem to really enjoy their job. Definitely recommend this place.
Went here in 22&23 awesome family fun! Laser tag, mini golf, arcade, and birthday packages with decent food and seating. Highly recommend for a birthday party or just come in for some random fun
Crazy golf , but fun . Love the giant 4 person air hockey. Seams like it drops a 100 mini pucks on the table as well as the big one in play. Frantic free for all !!
Super fun; great setup, big arena, multiple floors of play, tasty food, and helpful/friendly staff. Definitely coming back. Enjoyable for all age groups.
Me & my friends have been coming here playing laser tag for years. It is always so fun to play with the kids & run around even tho we are much older lol. BUT I see the cleanliness of this place is starting to decline. I know everyone is short staffed so I'm hoping this is temporary
We had a great experience for my son's 7th birthday party ?? All the kids had a blast.
Just had a surprise birthday party at Scallywag Tag and it couldn't have gone better. The staff was kind and extremely helpful. Couldn't be more grateful for the experience and couldn't beat the price of the party package!
Great place for family fun. Mini golf, laser tag, and arcade. The last time we went the staff working was A+.
A very nice place to take the family. There is an arcade with a good variety of video games + skill games like skee-ball. The laser tag section is pretty big, but could get crowded quickly depending on how busy it is, but you reserve times to play, so they can control that. There's also a viewing area upstairs so you can watch people playing. You can't see the entire arena, but you'll see your kids or friends you're with go by every once in a while. The laser tag arena has multiple levels and plenty of obst
Would have been a 5 but lighting in the parking lot, and inside was a little dark. It did make for a cool outside picture with the night sky and full moon. Value was good and we had a good time!
I wanted to give 5 stars especially to the young man working at the front desk today. He was tall with dark hair. We were here for a birthday party and he was very accommodating. He made our party feel welcomed and valued. He even helped me with alternatives that made it an overall great experience. While this would be good enough for 5 stars, I also wanted to shout out his hard work especially when dealing with difficult customers. In particular a woman came up demanding a refund on her arcade card. She be
I took my grandson for his birthday today as a last minute idea when driving by and we had so much fun! The staff were so helpful and very kind and patient with us. I've decided to bring the rest of the kids next time! I definitely recommend checking them out!
Took my son here for his birthday. We had a blast! Not only that the staff were super friendly and helpful! They really helped in making his day special. I definitely recommend this place for all. Thanks again guys.
Had my 5 year old sons birthday party Saturday and he had so much fun despite the incident with another guest, not part of our group, that could have ended badly. If I could suggest not having alcoholic beverages to prevent future behaviors of adults that would be my only negative. Our host was amazing and also the other workers that took care of the problem we had. We will for sure be back! The games are fun and the pizza is very good!
Had a blast at a birthday party! Nice staff, clean and great time.
We had my son?s party here and it was awesome! The young man looking after the party was attentive, brought refills, and kept everyone on a nice and much appreciated schedule. The pizza was hot and yummy too! I saw the schedule as something people didn't love in the reviews, but I thought it was perfect and helped flow the party and keep our fairly large group of kids under control. I didn't feel like the party was rushed at all, just organized! The game cards that came with the party lasted a long time, be
The blacklight mini golf was SO fun! We had 4 adults and 4 kids under 8 years and it was a blast!
A fun place for sure. This was my first time going with some coworkers. We played a lot of the arcade games, golfed which was equally fun easy and hard, and then played Lazer tag. Great place for adults and kids!
We love this place! I took my son there tonight for lazer tag and games. We played non stop arcade games for over an hour on 20 bucks and accumulated 250 tickets off that that he got his little sister a nice stuffed animal AND pop rocks!
Had My Daughters 8th Birthday Party Here, and her 7th last year actually. They are Awesome. 2 Rounds of Lazer Tag which is a Super-Cool Big Maze, even with a viewing area up top My Dad enjoyed watching. With a Pizza Party Between Rounds. Followed by a Game of Miniature Golf then Arcade Games. The Kids all had a Blast. Friendly Helpful staff were great with the kids. Clean nice safe environment.
Thank you so much for accommodating us at a short notice. For the staff to be so young, they were very professional. Special shoutout to our hostess, so sorry I forgot her name, but it was her first day I think and she did an awesome job keeping up with our needs. Definitely will be coming back. Thanks again ??????
My friend and I took our 7-year-olds here and had a great time! The mini golf course is stellar and so cool. The prices for the arcade mostly $1 or $0.50, and we had hours of family fun for both boys and girls! Definitely a great, affordable, find for the family.
What a fun time!! My husband and I took our grandson for his 13th birthday and had a blast!! We played 2 rounds of lazer tag and 1 round of mini-golf. We had so much fun. The staff were very friendly and quick to help. The arcade was a lot of fun. Having the tickets go on your game card instead of having actual tickets to hold onto was a nice feature. We will definitely be back more often!
This place is worth a trip. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Only thing I didn't care for were the arcade games. Half of them didnt work. The lazer tag and mini golf were cool.
Just had our sons 8th birthday party at Scallywag tag and it beat my expectations! The staff was amazing! They had a itinerary but were able to be flexable. We would definitely recommend!
Hosted a birthday party here and had a fantastic time. Our birthday host was Kane and he did an amazing job! The prices were not bad and there was a schedule for our laser tag games so we didn't miss out. Overall it was a great experience and my kids had a great time. The workers at scallywag tag were extremely hard and stay busy until closing. If you haven't had a chance to check them out yet it is a fun spot to bring your kids on the Westside.
Everything was good. The arcade games were fun, though a few were broken. We played mini golf which was medium level, though it was very fun. The laser tag was fun though if either side has more players it becomes very easy to over power the teams. The pizza was very greasy and really didn't taste good. Over all it was a very fun birthday party.
They don't wear gloves when handling food.. watched them bare hand my pretzel.. told manager n they continue doing it.. gonna make people sick real quick
We had my daughter?s 7th birthday party there and all the kids had a blast!!! Liz, our host, was so sweet and did a great job at taking care of everyone! 10/10 recommend
After hearing the rave reviews on The Andy Show I now need to convince my husband that we have to take the 15,766km trip from Australia to experience your delightful establishment. The idea that we can have a lovely meal with entertainment from pirates sounds very promising and then I can finish the visit off with shooting him at laser tag, name a better night out?
The Andy Show has truly provided a true desire upon all of us to come to this little glimpse of real world pirates & wonder. Living as close as Dayton I can only imagine the trip would be short & incredibly easy drive; I have to come within the next few weeks, perhaps during my spring break from classes next week! I'll have to report back with messages to both the wonderful people at the Andy Show and back to these wonderful reviews. All the love to Andy & Joe, and even more to the folks at Scallywag tag.
We had my 7 year old birthday party there and it was wild I came in overwhelmed because we didn't have a hostess in the room and my husband said he was waiting on wrist bands as they were calling to close the doors on the 1st game. No wristbands the lady finally just said to go in. The lady never came in to check in on us we had to go find them when we needed something. The itinerary on the table was wrong we had 3 games of laser tag the itinerary said 2 games of laser tag and golf. So I went to re conf
Fun love the mini golf well worth the money
I am changing my old review as we've booked another birthday party for my son's 9th . This time around the experience was a total 180 one of the managers over saw our party absolutely wonderful young man attentive accommodating made sure our experience was top notch. I highly recommend taking your children or hell even just yourself they do serve adult beverages. All around great evening.
The Andy show brought me here! I live in a completely different country but seems like an amazing establishment and will 10/10 visit if we ever get to the states! So much love to Andy and Joe who inspired our own podcast!
I booked a birthday party for 8 adults on a Saturday evening. Kane was our party host and he did an awesome job with setting up our schedule and organizing food/snacks timing around games. I forgot a couple things (candles/lighter) and he said that happens a lot and the facility kept extras!! I was really impressed. The food was good, the service was great, and the gameplay was awesome! Another person that impressed me was Zach- he managed the lasertag games themselves and walked around ensuring everyone w
This place looks amazing! Thanks to The Andy Show for telling us about it. What more can you want? Mini golf, laser tag, arcade games all with a pirate theme? Count me in! I'll need to make a trip out there from St. Paul, MN. ???????????????
Great place to take the kids and let them enjoy themselves and run wild. Lazer tag is the best activity there but the glow-in-the-dark golf courses okay.
Love this place! My son and his dad are here every week playing laser tag! Even had my son?s 9th birthday party here. Employees go out of their way to make it a great experience for all ??
Thank you to the Andy Show, that inspired me to one day come to Scallywag Tag all the way from Switzerland. Really looking forward to pirate themed laser tag and mini golf? all my people in Switzerland know, how amazing this place is and we're all trying to fly over for a Minigolf session. Thank you Scallywag Tag for existing, you're loved by all of us watching the Andy Show. You were mentioned many times before, but the most recent episode convinced me to visit you one day, as you have so many great deals!
We go every year for my daughter?s birthday and have had a great time every time. They have a 3 hour laser tag pass that I buy for her and her friends (and For myself). We play loads of tag, always get some pizza and drinks, and have an awesome time. The staff have always been great and friendly.
While I have only visited Cincy once, I wish I would've known about this wonderful, fun-filled place existed sooner! If it weren't for The Andy Show I never would've known this rad place is a great place to spend quality time with friends. Scallywag Tag has it all!
The kids had a great time playing laser tag. Wonderful pirate theme inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We bought a $20 voucher for 3 hours of laser tag for 2 from groupon and it is so worth it. Wear light weight clothing because you will get hot and sweaty from running around.
The party coordinator lady and the gentleman working the kitchen area during Kylie's party were fantastic. We had an issue with the birthday girl arriving on time due to traffic and a cake emergency, and they were so accommodating about just pushing everything back. The pizza and popcorn were delicious. These staff members went above and beyond to make my niece's birthday special! Great job! P.S. - I love all the new lighting, paint, decor and vests in the laser tag arena. A+
We had an AMAZING experience for our 7 year olds party! Staff was super friendly and helpful and most importantly the kiddos had a great time. We had an organized itinerary that kept things moving Was well worth the trip from the east side!
In speaking with my son, we have given him the choice of the following for his birthday: Boston Bruins tickets, an ebike or a trip to Ohio to play laser tag in a pirate hat. He's mulling it over and will let us know asap. Based on the recommendations from The Andy Show we're all pulling for Ohio!
We went during the holidays, and it was decorated so nicely! It looked way cuter than expected. Overall, the mini golf was a great time, and that was all we did while we were there. My one big thing about this place though, was that it did not really feel clean. There was trash in lots of little areas, along with some colorful graffiti from previous visitors, and tons of dust. Once you overlooked that, wasn't too bad! We'll be back, either way.
Aye from Orlando, FL! I found out about your very fine establishment through The Andy Show! As a person who is an Ohio native and an avid mini golf enthusiast I look forward to visiting the next time I sail the high seas back to Ohio!
$15 laser tag and mini golf for the day is a great deal. The laser tag viewing area is a great place for parents to go and hang out while the kids do whatever they're going to do. The staff here is friendly and the food is alright. I feel like it's an affordable easy way to fill a day.
I cannot say enough good things about Scallywag Tag. Our first time here and there's young adults professionally running the place from the counter, to the birthday parties, Lazer tag, and the food/drink counter. This place beats the heck out of other entertainment spaces and is much less chaotic and much more clean. So glad to know this place exists. 10/10 will visit again.
Oh how I dream of one day traveling from lowly Virginia to this beacon of fun and hope in the great city of Cincinnati. The Andy Show has told of your greatness for many a years and I pray to the good lord above that I'll be able to see those pirate flags flying in the wind and those lasers beaming through the establishment before I shuffle off this mortal coil.
I was referred to Scallywag Tag by the Andy Show in several episodes of how great this place is. I would come but I have to travel 2,056 miles all the way from northern Idaho. Hopefully, someday I can come as a bucket list site to see. I bet this place is an almighty arrgh of treasures. Anyway, I wish your awesome business all the best in all sectors.
Kids had fun. We did a birthday party there and felt like there wasn't much direction or support for the adults. We didn't know how things worked and it wasn't explained when they took us to the table that they would call our group to the game over a loud speaker. We had to ask for cups, the pizza came out with no serving utensil, no refills were ever brought out for the drinks...things like that. But at the end of the day, the kids were happy and that's the most important thing.
This was a good time with friends. Pirate themed and light-hearted fun. Definitely a younger crowd but it was fun for us 30 somethings also.
Fun times were had by my son, for parents not so much. Doesn't have a great selection of arcade games, but has amazing laser tag arena. Mini golf seemed to be popular, although we didn't visit that particular area of the building. Would definitely go back with my son.
Visiting area for Ark Encounter and Newport Aquarium; however this was a fun half day excursion for my 4 and 7 year old who currently love pirates.
We had our son's birthday party here and had a great time. It was our first time visiting and we were impressed. The kids had a blast and the grownups had nothing but positive comments too. We will definitely be returning in the future.
So much fun. They're pizza is really good too. I am a bit old for laser tag,but I joined in with the children and had a ball. Granted,I died about 12 times.. The design and colors of the area are beautiful. The place is clean,in order, and reasonably priced. For you adults, they also have a bar.. Overall loved it!
Had my sons 7th b day here and we have been coming to scallywag for many years even back when they had the big inflatable slide. We opted for the 300 dollar deal and it was worth every penny. The host was awesome the 5 pizzas were hot fresh and spectacular pop corn was fresh and so were the drinks. The kids had a blast the only thing I advise is to visitors is to clean up after your self. We did see the workers cleaning excessive mess left by guest which is rude so i advise if you show up bring the fun and
Ever since hearing about Scallywag Tag on The Andy show, IT'S BEEN on top of my bucket list to visit this magical place someday. Spreading the word to my fellow canadian friends. Hopefully we can arrange a trip across the border soon.
To walk here from Manchester it would take me 1522 hours and 31 minutes (approx 64 days) and I think it would be worth every step because if there's one thing the Andy Show has taught me, it's that Scallywag tag is the holy grail. Thank you for gracing the world with your wonderful establishment.
Laser tag, glow golf, arcade. Throw in plenty of good food and beer, and the whole family is guaranteed to have fun.
The children loved the laser tag rounds!
Thanks to the Andy Show, now I can't wait to travel from Myrtle Beach, SC to watch my kiddos play laser tag - pirate style!! To answer your question to another review? The Andy Show has been talking about you for YEARS across a multitude of episodes. Most recently they mentioned Scallywag Tag on the Feb 4 episode :) Check out Patreon
First, yes, this place is very fun. But when I went for my nephew's birthday party they had everything scheduled out and we felt very rushed. Which I completely understand the need for this because they do laser tag at certain times and you need to get tickets for those times and whatnot. But. They had us going nonstop since we arrived. We got there, ordered the pizza and sodas, and as soon as we started getting all set up they called us for our game of mini golf. It was a blast, I won't lie. When we got do
A big shoutout to The Andy Show for letting the patrons know of this gem called Scallywag Tag! Unfortunately, I'm in another country and about 2,000km away but, if ever I get the opportunity to be near this fine establishment I'll be sure to stop by. The theme is right up my alley and it looks like an awesome spot for the whole family! And with that, I leave you with a quote from Andy Biersack himself. ?Always be yourself, unless you can be Batman, always be Batman!? I wish you all the luck in your busin
We attended a birthday party today and stayed for over 3 hours. The black light tag and putt putt were large and kept the kids entertained. They also have a game area with air hockey, skeeball, and such. This was a great place for a birthday party and our family plans to go back soon.
Who would?ve thought that a scallywag like me would love scallywag tag? The dear Andy Show has also brought me here, but you guessed it, i live a few states over and not in Ohio. If you're wondering which episode speaks about scallywag tag, it's all of them since maybe their first season- and it's been super, super positive. i mean yargh matey this place be getting the best reviews
Alright. Lazer tag was cool. Mini golf was chill. Mozzarella sticks were burnt and pizza wasn't cut though all the way. Staff was nice
Still enjoy this place. Have never had an issue with the staff and just recently they allowed one more game of laser tag when they should have been closing because our Littles didn't hear the call for the last game.
People are great, atmosphere was friendly, everything was clean. Mini golf decorations and painting were really cool. Lots of teens hanging out and playing, but they didn't act in a way that made it unfriendly for families. My 7yo and his friend even had a couple "big kids" help them out in the laser room!
Fun atmosphere...much larger on the inside than I expected. The staff is very friendly and polite. Not all of our party members came and they adjusted the price. Even gave us an extra laser tag session. Would have been 5 stars but the quality of food is mediocre.
The employees are wonderful especially with my young 5 yr old grandson!
We had my son?s birthday party here and it was amazing! Pizza was fantastic! Laser tag here is probably the best in ohio!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
