SB Raceway

SB Raceway has a really entertaining cosmic go-cart race during the weekend I definitely recommend checking out but be warned it is pricey! We went for a date night after hearing about $30 races and despite the sticker shock we had a great time. The races were exciting and what started out as "MarioCart" quickly turned into "MadMax" by the 3rd race and we were all laughing and smiling as we competed. The go karts are fun but the employees ruin the experience. Certain people are treated special because they know the employee that works there so they get faster karts. On top of that, the employees do not enforce the "no bumping rule". I went with a party of 5 and raced with 3 other people, 2 of them being in a 2 seater kart so 7 karts total. A bunch of unprofessional, lowlife thief's, had a decent experience up until they stole some of my belongings and acted like they didn't know what I was talking about, left in plain sight and apparently the cameras didn't work and the guy in charge couldn't operate the system, the manager said to leave a phone number and they would call me back. Don't recommend anyone to come here, worst service I've ever had. If you do come, you've been warned.

This place is great! It's clean, carts are fast, and staff is friendly. There is plenty of parking and the Groupon makes each race affordable. If you qualify on the 6.5. Hp carts you and race in the 9 horsepower car. They even have two seaters if you want to tote the kids around the track. Can't wait to return and beat my track time!

We love this raceway. The cars are really fast, but more importantly the staff is awesome. Super friendly and personable. My kids are all novices, but they made them feel like part of the crew. The pricing is fair, but what also nice is it isn't super busy. We've had to wait hours just to get one race at K1. This is a million times better, plus they are gas carts instead of quiet electric. I highly recommend it for a fun family outing!

Don't get me wrong place ok but thing that's so annoying is they have a pool table and they can't seem to figure out how to fix payment. Instead it's at your own risk no refund... it's not hard to have the spare key and collect payment.

Being stationed in high desert offers my Soldiers limited options. Thankfully, Nicole did everything she could (and more) to ensure my group of 30 had an amazing experience. We arrived early, ready to sign up and race; the arcade offered those who weren't called up to race, something to do while the heats started. Be careful staff has friends at the establishment and are very confrontational. My son had a gun pulled on him. Is well it was left in the establishment and fraudulent charges were made on his account. I did call asked to speak with management I was told no one's there and they are hardly ever there. I requested a call back have not received one yet I called numerous times. I'm hoping the owner or someone sees this and returns my call.

It was a long wait time but it was totally worth it. We enjoyed a lot and you have a lot of Arcade games to play until your turn comes.

So much fun today only about 4 other people and its ST. Nice place, I especially liked the modern registration system they used. The staff was friendly and seemed competent. The wait between rounds was short and everything was well arranged. The track was nice once you got the hang of it. The karts were decent, but the performance, especially for drifting varied a lot between the karts I had in the three different rounds. Overall a very fun experience, and not too expensive. My shoulders were sore for a couple days after.

I've been twice. Neither experience was awesome. Gas powered karts. Slick tires, slick track. The people that work there are cool and chill. However, the people that "race" there are not courteous. We had our kids with us and these men were smashing them off the track. The kart I kept getting has engine issues. And even though I told the employees I still kept getting the same kart. This was the worst customer service ever, the lady at the counter had a very bad mood and was also very vague on telling instructions. We wanted 5 races and it was 5:20 pm, she said that they close at 8pm and 5 races were not possible at that time. At this moment there was another group behind us and since we arrived first she went and told them that they were closing at 8 even though IT WAS 5:20 PM. Very fun, great place, I'd say a little pricy for the $6 license on top of the race prices. Could really use variation, second track or run it backwards to switch it up. This isn't an all day thing I would suggest it with other things like a movie and dinner in my opinion.

I got a family full of teen/pre-teens & a 6 yr. old. It's far & few between the times that we can ALL get together as a family and nobody has a bad time. Thank you sbr! Every one of my kids were PUMPED and involved and enthusiastic and NOT on their phones & NOT wanting to go back home to their video games. It's horrible, the arcade most of them ate my money and the front desk they looked more dead than alive. one dude on his phone did not even pay attention and the girl spoke coldly to us like did not even guide us. They were in their own world. But the race way was fun maybe get some gloves ?? because your hands can hurt a bit.

Aside from their website not having correct and updated information, the overall experience was good. Everything was pretty clean and nice. Races are 15 laps, and they don't seem to over load the track with racers. Makes for a better experience for those racing. Edit Since our first time I have taken my son 2 more time and ended up buying him the membership. Our experience since the first visit has more than made up for our original issue with the website issue.

There's a reason this place is dead on a Friday night. The employees are super unprofessional vaping and crashing the go karts in between races. They will slow your cart down mid race if they feel like it and ruin the race for you. Just go to K1 Speed Ontario, it's a much better experience for your hard earned money. Me n my bro found this place one day last year because K1 was booked up for the day and had no races?. Bye K1 STOP comparing this place to an electric kart spot or hating on the whole set up. This is a local (mom n pop) spot that we love and the gas karts are great? I'm 35 so this reminds me of growing up in the 90s driving around gas powered go karts. Not busy, staff is nice. The track is in good condition a d that cars are fast! Tandem cars are available if you're going with a child under 8.

Fun experience. The decor was dated and they need more games or something while you wait. Over all it was a pleasant experience.

First time visiting today with our three teenage sons. Definitely pricey and had to pay additional money the first time you go for a "license", however we all had a really good time! There was really good customer service, it was clean, and the boys want to go back for cosmic carts!

Cool place definitely fun and involving environment the carts are all gas! :), but when racing there was a kid who I assume is the owners son who deliberately was hitting people and making them spin out which unfortunately ruined the experience for us we won't be returning but the employees are nice. Furthermore we had to wait 30 minutes before are next ride due to the employees taking are spot. And the guy working the go carts was definitely high ??

Pathetic staff here they are the worst people we have ever seen here. First we called them and they said 30 mins wait then we came and they said another 40 mins. okey after the payment we waited for another 40 mins and checked with them for our turn again they said 30 mins... Great fun!!! So much better than K1! True gas powered, faster karts and no wait!!!! Don't waste your money on commercialized lame electric Karting. SB raceway is how Karting should be be, gritty and fast.

I recommend SB Raceway. The karts are fast, and have good grip. Staff are nice, and environment is cool.

Runs over an hour behind on estimated race time and refuses to return money or credit races for another day. BAD BUSINESS! Claims that only the owner can provide a refund or credit races but won't provide the owner's phone number and won't notify customer of when owner comes in. How is it the customer's fault that there's sick calls any they're running over an hour and a half behind the estimated wait time?

Brought my kids in for some fun and it turned out pretty AMAZING. The girls Isabella, Jo, and Genesis made sure the boys had an awesome time!!! No long wait, very courtesy, shared knowledge with the kids and welcomed us with open arms. Rates are fair and service even better. Will be sure to come again!!!

I didn't expect to leave a bad review on this place but If you care to be there for 3 to 4 hours for a couple rides go for it, also a bunch of teens run this place and don't actually enforce any rules, they are all extremely rude, My boyfriend got rammed by another guy in a go kart and got his back really hurt . Also none of the games in the arcade work. Very poorly managed for the prices charged. Will definitely go somewhere safer.

I love, love, love this place. My son was home visiting from college for Christmas and we took him down here. We had an absolute blast. The track is very nice, the carts run nicely, and the staff is always very friendly and willing to help. Only downside is that because it's an indoor track and gas go karts, the fumes do tend to overtake a little bit.

I really like this place but this time we got horrible service the two cashiers were pretty rude. I think it was so weird that they change the kids age on the morning. When the website says it 8yrs and up. They didn't have the two seater so I was disappointed but whatever. My daughter was sad because she was waiting to drive for a long time. I believe they we're racist because we all look Hispanic or they didn't want to handle with kids. I would give a zero if I can.

The safety for the racers is horrible. My son came home with a bruises on his back from getting hit by another adult racer and his son. This guy and his kid have done this before and the staff gets complaints on these two individuals but they are still allowed to participate. Not safe do not take your kids to SB Raceway.

Threw a party here for my son 17th Bday on May 1st. We had a terrible experience. I admit we was running late and I notified the personnel of my situation. They agreed to still accommodate us. When we got there, there was only one lady helping us and I had a party of over 20 on a shorter period of time since we was late. Mind you they agreed to accommodate us. We had no clear instructions on what do as far as racing goes, and the staff was very rude with my group. No one told the kids the rules so they did

About $50 for three races that amount to about 30 minutes of driving. It's the best price I've seen. It's indoor but it's still a hoot. Better to go with your friends than drive with strangers but I went alone and had a great time. If they are slow they will let you drive alone Which is great if you don't have to dodge people. A lot of places charge $50 for 15 minutes or less.

Great track. Reasonable population with no long waits. They have time targets associated with driver weight ranges. This is a nice feature. Definitely recommend this location.

I haven't been here in a long time so I was able to get a good deal on Groupon, Two rides for 2 people compare to just doing one ride. They charge $7 for a racing license card that you can use for a whole year if you plan on going back there often. It was fun. I would definitely go back

Stopped in as soon as they opened for some gift cards for xmas. Nice location. I have raced on the track a few years ago. It's a fun spot. When buying gift cards make sure you pay for their license and their head cover as well. That way they don't have to pay anything when they go

Great place. I needed help backing up a couple of time (a million) and they were super helpful I felt so bad but the guy helping was very nice about it. We also had a group of young kids "being kids" and it was great.I definitely recommend this place for the track and experience but most importantly for service. Kudos to That awesome staff.

It was a blast! Me and my dad went and raced, and we both had loads of fun! The service is great, and you get to start fairly quick. There are also these tournaments that the fastest drivers get invited to and the winner gets a prize. It's overall a very fun challenge.

Highly recommend going here, it's gas powered not electric. I have had problems where my members of my party had to be spilt up because they scheduled our races at different times, we're a party for a reason, we're trying to race at the same time, other than that staff is pretty cool and chill.

This facilities very bad service. If you call him for wait time they said his 20 minute but when you arrived you need to wait three hours the charge if you ask any questions they said we don't have any answer and the peoples are really rude . The place was like ghost town. It felt so weird that we were the only ones there, but the lady behind the counter was super helpful and polite. The actual racing part was super fun even though I lost. The staff was overall really helpful and The experience was one of a kind.

Always a fun place to be at been going here for years. Met some really cool people one of my favorites would have to be Miguel he has given me lots of tips and has helped me become a better racer and makes sure i always have a great time. Any time a kart has had an issue he's the first one to take action and makes sure that everyone stays safe. He's a great mechanic always testing out karts to see if they are any issues so he is able to fix it before it becomes hazardous.

I don't know what happened to this place but it sucks now. Customer service is absolutely atrocious. Workers are lazy and unprofessional. I asked to buy tickets for a race and they had the gull to ignore me for a couple of minutes while talking to each other behind the counter. On another occasion, my friends kart ran out of gas and he had to switch karts. He missed half the race and we couldn't compare times since he switched karts. No refund was given to him. The two employees were helping one customer each when we arrived but did not welcome or acknowledge our existence at all. I went one time when it was empty and it was decent. Went again when it was busy they said it be a hour and forty minutes. After that another 40 so on and on for 3 hours. Having driven from far away to spend time with oversea friends only to think the place was closed. First time here, didn't think it would be this expensive for 2 people. See photos for further.. $87.86 for two people 20 min. Races are 10 min each. Ridiculous amount for 2 people total. Service was not great. Got there at 8pm(they close at 10pm), and was told they were running late and we would lose out on 1 of our races. I paid for 3 races, not 2, no offer to reimburse for the race we wouldn't get. Customer service lacked professionalism and much else. Go to Pole Position or K1, much better experience. Love going here. Much better than the electric karts at other places. They use gas powered systems. Mainly try to go here with friends and family so we can race each other and not bother with other individuals. Prices are reasonable. Try not to go here when they have special functions as that drives the price up for some odd reason.

First time Go Karting and Coming Back again! It was my 60 birthday! My son bought the ticket?s which makes the visit more special. The staff wasn't that friendly. We showed up when they opened at 10am (4 of us). The group that showed up after up (also 4) got to race the track alone...they forced our group to race with a 3rd party that came in. The group they made ride with us kept crashing and that made them keep stalling our cars. They werent busy and didn't have a party coming in until 1pm. The staff had attitudes when we asked to run with out group alone. We all paid the same price and it sucked we had to run with the kids crashing

Came here with several buddies to kill time before our flight. Facility was very clean, registration process was seamless and the service was great. The best deal is 5 races for $50. There is a required $6 registration fee associated.

My family and I wanted to have fun, one night turned into two days. We come in and made a reservation when we came back at our time they were no longer racing. We came back the next day and we were told they had no more races running for the night. They refused to give us a refund and didn't help at all

We had a blast! We used our groupon for three rides and we were exhausted! Highly recommend! They are very careful to group racers by ability and speed level. Go and have fun!!

staff is friendly and accommodating, equipment is ok, I'm a big fan of the "vip" incentive but currently a couple of the carts aren't working properly... sort of defeats the purpose. all in all a great place to come blow off some steam
