Such a fun old school arcade with tokens and actual tickets! Has tons of fun arcade games and a nice pizza place sandwiched in-between too!
Always fun, always familiar friendly. Bring a picnic or support one of the great food establishments. Parking can be a little tough during peak times. Plenty of arcades for prizes from classic arcades to newer to extremely old. The dock that was lost in the hurricane has been rebuilt bigger, stronger, better.
We spent a half day here and had absolute fun. It has both competing games and ticket generating games. When a couple of games malfunctioned, staff immediately responded. Was crowded; but not much of a wait time. When we visited, it was a warm day and an easy long walk back to the Computer Access is also available to many eateries and restroom
I've been going to the Willows for family reunions for 50 yrs! Cooking and eating under the Willow trees is a great memory and has been passed down through the generations. I'm bringing my grandkids tomorrow!
What can I say? I'm a sucker for old school boardwalks, and while it seems out of place here, I love it. A large selection of games, they still even use tokens to play. Tickets get you cheap prizes and it's surrounded by junk food options.
Great old school arcade, with mountains of tickets to win. Think OG Dave and Buster's, but open air and way more fun. Great spot for kids and young at heart.
We love this old time arcade. My favourites are the older games which include pinball, some old video games like Pacman, and vintage helicopter and baseball games. You can't forget air hockey, hockey ?fusball? and skeeball too.
Average $1 per play. Ok. The plus side is a lot ice cream shops and beautiful parks right in the front
Always a great place to spend time over the summer, and there are so many food options just outside. And the old school games are pretty cool!
A timeless classic. Grew up going here and glad to see that it still lives on! Still just as nostalgic but with lots of newer games although there's still a couple of the originals on display.
Very spacious, there's tables with hand sanitizer and mask right at the entrances very cool place to go have some fun an a bite right after even ice cream!!!
Great place for all ages. I love that they keep the classic games up and running
This is a retro Coney island type feel little strip of a arcades and food places. The arcade area is great for the kids and is quite large actually. There is a large field that surrounds the water filled with picnic tables for you to walk and have lunch, dinner or a snack on.
Cute little arcade by the water. Great view and boardwalk food: pizza, Chinese, icecream, fresh popcorn (amazing) and my favorite place to get a Lime Rickey.
Timeless classic! And as long as they have Drunken Outrage and Musical Monkeys, they'll have my heart ++++++++++++++
Extremely clean, employees walking around wiping and cleaning as the kiddos switched off without any interruptions. Had a decent selection of games. Some which I haven't seen since I was a child. 80's baby! Plenty of token machine Bring cash in order to exchange for tokens. Restrooms are attached.
stupid stupid women wouldnt stop bothering me cuz i was so hot. wanted to frick me the whole time i was there. she followed me into the bathroom and i yelped NO. But she didn't understand that no means no and still went down on me. NEVER again.
Prefect for all ages, plenty of different kinds of food to choose from, the gazebos are a nice spot to sit, the long dock is a scenic treat to anyone who walks it. You can watch the people fishing and maybe take a look at what they catch, or enjoy the Sun rises and sun sets, outdoor theater as well. Fun for the whole family.
5 stars I love this place with a passion I haven't been there in 8 years, I wish they were open year around but hey I understand weather conditions can be crazy, awesome environment, friendly people and definitely good food, I hope they NEVER CLOSE!!!
Fun place that's a departure from the typical ticket redemption arcades. Nice to see a good selection of pinball machines. The old school electro mechanical pinballs were nice to play and worked very well. Nice mix of new and nostalgic games is a win/win for all ages.
The arcade for younger children needs another ticket machine. It gets crowded and annoying if your trying to do your tickets. Other than that, I love this place and brought all the children Ive watched for years and my own of course.
This arcade is both buildings so make sure you check out both sides because they are very different. Like old school and new school.
Great spot for kids and grown ups alike during the summer. Lots of classic 80s arcade games, ski-ball, and loads of new games. All near pizza, ice cream, popcorn, and Asian food spots. Great place to spend a summer afternoon.
It's an arcade. The games and payout are totally predictable. That's not necessarily bad. The grandkids loved it. The floor was uncrowded, the place seemed clean, and the kid behind the counter seemed willing to use his brain as well as his smile.
I enjoyed visiting Salem Willows, it brought back memories. It is beautiful to walk around with all the lovely trees. I was however disappointed with the air hockey being broken for the right coin slot, the whacking shark game was also broken and I had to pay twice to pay it. The women's restroom middle sink is broken, but overall the rest of the bathroom was okay. For another positive we enjoyed the chinese food like always. The lo mein doesn't disappoint.
Awesome place to take the kids. Arcade places to grab food, great park to cook out or hang, couple of small beaches. Good spot to launch a kayak has a lot of options
Very limited in their pin ball selection but there are tons of arcade games and things of that nature. They're also a lot of food selections in the little boardwalk area where the arcade is so it's good for an outing in the Spring summer and fall.
Have always loved the willows as a kid. I gave it 4 stars because I wish that they kept it more like it used to be with actual tellers that gave quarters and had a more retro old school feel. Everything is too computerized now. Bring back the people!!!
Excellent selection of game and food. I love their fresh saly water taffy. Also have walking paths thru the weeping willows, multi beaches to use, public dock and so much more...
Love this place. So much fun to be able to play games and video games with my kids.
Love the mix of games. Especially the vintage pinball.
READ THIS SOME GUY WITH CURLY HAIR SCAMMED ME OUT OF 1000 TICKETS WHEN I HAD ALL THE CARDS. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE >:(
It's a perfect place to take the kids to on a nice spring/summer day . I really enjoy the atmosphere , very nostalgic .
I didn't actually enter the arcade but my sons and nephews took $20 and turned it into a couple hours of fun and we got some peace and quiet. Worth every penny!
A classic boardwalk-style activity center. Lots of ticket-winning games and 1990s/early 2000s arcade games. Even includes some vintage nickelodeons and animated displays.
Always nice on a sunny. Day classic machines, pretty affordable. Some games have glitches and some pinball have weaker flippers. Overall alot of fun.
The salem arcade has all the best arcade game and more. It is right next to a pizza place and icecream is near. They have lots of prizes to choose from and also have four air hockey tables in teh middle of the arcade. There is a pretty big crowd most of the time but the fun is worth it.
Great little attraction. A mini boardwalk. Old school arcade and a few walk up restaurants. Rarely busy, couple cool beaches, pier, ice cream etc. Definitely take a look when in salem
I won a funny toy from the claw machine! It's not very expensive and the skunks come out at night and eat the trash. Good games to choose from and DDR. It's not summer without the Willows.
Cool place to play some arcade. They have some old fashion arcade games which are the ones that are fun. Wish they had more of those games. Definitely worth the visit.
Great fun, great prices. So many affordable food options nearby. Careful on the antique skee-ball though! Some of them like to eat tokens!
Took my Grandkids to the Willows and they had a blast as always! They played in the arcade after eating one of everything on the strip! Always a good day at Salem Willows!
Was busy although it was Labor Day weekend, people were practicing social distancing and mask where required, was a great visit with great food, Salem Lowe never disappoints
A great place for adults and kids to have fun. Lots of games to play, old and new, and a pizza restaurant right in the middle of one gets hungry.
Took my 8yr old grandson for the first time and he loved it. Had fun on the merry go round, playing games and eating cheese burgers and waffle fries.
Terrible I loved it the water was so freezing that I thought I would?ve died but it was clear popcorn is great but gets stuck in teef bery prety good desent experiencez anywoys hatid lovd it 126star
Place was packed. Really cool to see an old school arcade with that many people. Maybe don't go on a 100 degree day
Amazing 4 hours, was a bit taken back caps fried dough no longer. Still best place I can recall, super friendly staff.
Beautiful parks, great ice cream! The kids loved the arcade. We will be back!
It's fun games are a little pricey the food cost more than anywhere else in the area overall everyone had fun
Grew up coming here, the games are always fun though they need a little more love these days. The poor DDR machine has seen better days.
I had a great time food's amazing nice people in the arcades I love playing the games I had a great day glad I went
Love the singing monkeys my old stomping grounds the good old days back in high school very good ownership friendly and customer responsive! Bring back foosball!
Had great fun with my grandson playing the Arcade. Clean place to have lunch and enjoy the park.
Some machines were not operational however besides that the ones that were made the experiance fun to enjoy time with friends ans family, even just to pass time by.
Haven't been here in over 30 years (Color Picnic) brought back so many good memories.. Love this place...
Great amusement park in a great location. Plenty to do. Picnics, BBQ, arcade, mini golf, fishing, Basketball, boating.
I've been going there for 40 years. Myself, with my children and my grandchildren. I love it there.
Love coming ??back to good Ole Salem Willows just miss the chop suey sandwiches ?? always had to have one
Best arcade ever! old school and new video games. perfect for kids.
Great place. Cool games. We love Salem Willows. We'll be going back soon.
Memories of this place having fun with my kids hey loved it there they still do
Great arcade with a nice mix of old and new in a nice setting.
Always fun and this year we even got a few new eateries.
It was packed. Kids had fun though.
Kids had a great time! Great choice of games. Decent prizes to be won.
Fun, some old games, some new games, decently clean. I didn't realize how much I missed air hockey.
Alway have fun and plenty of things for the kids as well. Adults can enjoy them self.
My lil brother's hend fun it is a good place for kids
So much fun for all ages. Great place for all occasions
Brought back a lot of childhood memories and they still had some of the original 10? games!
It was awesome, i got so much fun with my grandson.??????
Nice place to fish have a good time or just relax perfect for family s
Musical monkeys get played everytime I go.. Which is once a year average or so..
Very good place to bring your kids. 5 our of 5.
It brings back a little a little nostalgia of the day of the penny arcades.
Excellent assortment of games and fun for the whole family.
great for walking, relaxing, playing tennis and eating the best popcorn ever
Awesome old school arcade so fun!
I love this place. It's stupid that they close on labor day though.
Nice place to be with the family, the problem is the parking, but is very good place
Besides being rushed out 15 minutes before closing time, so they could close early, it was all in all, a great time
Kids love it but too many breakdowns and very poor prizes.
I wish they were open on wknds longer in the year
NOSTALGIA! I grew up going here and I still go with my children. I will continue to go here for arcade, pinball etc....
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
