Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts 02532
Ryan Family Amusements in Buzzards Bay is a great place to go bowling. I just went recently and had a fun time enjoying their candlepin lanes. The atmosphere was relaxed, everything was clean and well-maintained, and it was an overall enjoyable experience for a casual outing.
Don't play if you expect to win a prize. Their machine at Sea Crest Hotel promising a ring doorbell Doesn't Fit out of the machine when you win! Crooked! Reached out and was told there is no problem?also no prize.
Stopped here on our way home to NJ and had THE BEST time. Alecia was working and she was extremely helpful and attentive. You could tell that she liked and cared about her job. She made sure to explain the pricing and the different machines. The place was well kept and very big. There were lots of claw machines and other arcade games. We had a blast playing and if I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back. Super pleased!
A heartfelt thank you to Ryan's for generously donating fifteen Ryan's Gift Cards for an attendance raffle prize for my students at Wareham Elementary School! My students love going to Ryan's!
Great place to go bowling with family or friends. They have bowling leagues that look like a lot of fun. The gaming side is like Chucky Cheese & we have been taking our kids here for 18 years. The prices are very low..as compared to places like it within 50 miles. They always have offers around $20 which gives the kids an hour or so of game play and they get to pick out prizes to take home with them. They offer draft beer for those of you who partake in the consumption of spirits. The very nice guys in the
Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. They have some beer and wine coolers which is a plus. I love the menu on the score board, to Change and fix scores. Beautiful place to bring the whole family and have a good game of bowling. Video games for the kids and popcorn. Spend a few hours with your family or friends. Join the many leagues and make new friends. It's worth the trip.
Nice place for adults or the kiddos. Btw should be mentioned because I was completely unaware that this is not really bowling its candlepin bowling instead. They have an arcade attached.
Had a birthday party a few days ago for my gf son. All the kids had a great time. I used to go to birthday parties here when I was younger. Staff was great.
This place is my favorite! Pam and the team have been putting up with me and the kids regularly for over a decade. Always clean and welcoming. Staff is attentive and considerate. They rapidly assist with any issues in the game room or in the bowling alley. This place was a refuge for me in the early years of my divorce, my daughter and I would make weekly visits during my visitation and helped to strengthen our bond. Years later when I had my boys they loved the place as much as we did. Thank you for making
Very fun bowling. The kids also went all in in the arcade
Great employees! Fun place for the whole family. Nice leagues with really nice group of people. Restrooms could use a makeover.
Had a great time with my 3yr old son! It was a weekday with only one other customer also having a young child with them and also enjoying a game of bowling! This Is a first bowling experience anywhere however have visited this location and a few others throughout the Cape. Unfortunately it's a little ride away from our house but worth a drive once in a while for an active treat. The women was attentive and helpful with her time due to lack of customers which I truly admire especially when a lot of businesse
very nice place, highly recommended for children ages 3-13. spent a few hours after dinner with the family. one game I don't think I could ever get tired of is air hockey. there's bowling and lots of prize winning games for the children to play. I give this spot five stars. we all enjoyed it here.
My kids loved it here. First, we went bowling for about 45 minutes. It was relatively inexpensive. Afterwards, we spent some time in the game room where there were claw machines (where you can actually win stuff) and air hockey and whack-a-mole Minions-style and other games where you could win the digital equivalent of tickets (added to credits card). When we were done gaming, my kids cashed in their credits and were able to choose from an assortment of prizes. It was nostalgic for me and a thrill for them.
Nice small arcade, has many of the popular games. Single stall XL bathrooms with baby changing table in both womens and mens. They have 2 kid party room and also bowling. They serve alcohol as well for adults plenty of parking
Up from Florida for the week. Stopped by to let the kids play candlepin bowling as it was there first time. The staff was very friendly, and the place was well kept. We had an enjoyable time playing and can't wait to come back and play again!
Not the best not the worst. Most of the arcade claw games are rigged. Spend $20 trying to win a $1 stuffed animal. $2000 tickets gets you basically nothing, some worthless toys that will end up in the garbage the same night. The candlepin bowling was fun but a bit pricey All in all we all had a good time. The kids enjoyed themselves, and for a local arcade its pretty decent. Not a bad way to spend a few hours on a random night. the bowling is a plus
My granddaughters were able to play a claw game to play to WIN!! Thank you for smiles not tears!!
I absolutely love this place. I take my son here frequently for arcade play and I have had 2 of his Birthdays here. They make everything so easy. I highly recommend this place to everyone! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Great place for a fun time, whether that be bowling or the arcade, neither will disappoint. I've been there many times and walk feeling like I've had fun and the others around me as well feel the same.
They advertised 9.95 per person on Friday's 7pm to 11:00pm and we brought our own shoes. My wife and I were there from 9:30 to 10:30 and they charged us $42.57. Such a rip off
As we stood in front of the employee at the shoe counter figuring out shoes etc...he waited until we were giving our shoe sizes to tell us that we could only bowl for 15 minutes and that. The place would fill with league players and that we couldn't bowl. Why are there no signs posted? Why didn't he just tell us when we walked in ?
It's kind of small but me and my bf enjoyed ourselves. My bf won me a giant sea turtle I was so excited. Then we played a couple rounds of bowling! Had a good time, we will be returning!
Had a birthday party for 7 yr old. Room was clean an set up upon arrival. Fun times playing candle pin bowling and arcade.
Took kids here for a birthday party guy working behind the desk was extremely rude and kept telling 2-3 year old kids that they can't be throwing the balls how they were or crossing into the lane next to us that was empty when I tried to explain they're toddlers and don't exactly listen and his response was babies can be told what to do as well would not recommend anyone with kids to come here terrible experience overall real buzz kill for my daughter?s birthday
You know what this is a great little location and my young family loved it. There is bowling and arcade amusements. Its a simple card based system so no need to cash or quarters. My 3 year old loved it. Great fun
Went in today with the family. Was kind of unsure how it would go when we walked in since it's small.I think it's only 10 lanes. The guy at the counter was very nice and made us feel welcomed.Give him a raise lol.Not sure his name but it was around 3.We had a good time and it was reasonable prices for a group of 6 at $48.They have some snacks vending machines and a game room.Vending machines were a little expensive.Cash or quarters only.2.50 for juice or soda.2.00 for a water.Candy and snacks in vending machi
One night me and my kids were bowling at we didn't even Bowne for 1 HR because it broke and charged us 27.00 wouldn't even give us a full discount. They wouldn't even give my kids a free card. We always go there I will never go there aging.
Brought my son there for his friends party and they were so friendly and so good with the kids. I recommend this place. I loved it when I was little. But there were way more games and it wasn't as expensive.
This was my local gameroom when I lived in wareham,ma in 93 I played my first mk2 machine here dont know if they still do fighting games here but it was my favorite memory coming duking dudes when cheats & combos to rule the machine.but th he chicken tenders were ok.& bowling is cool
Had a blast! Went later so as to only be there with other adults.... It was great... You can toss back a couple (Designated Driver of course... Or an ?ber.... Bowling, skeeball, arcade, bar, food , great lighting and my Homegirl was awesome! Ty Miss!
Great place to have a little kids birthday party at. Staff is very helpful, you can go bowling ,have a room for the cake etc.,then they can play at the amusement type machines. All the four and five yearolds had a great time.
We caused a lot of trouble and they were very nice about it. They were helpful and kind to all they're costumers. I would definitely go back again especially for the unlimited bowling night.
Very nice spot to go with friends, not too pricy and building is kept relatively clean, although the update from tickets to "game cards" was a little disappointing and took away from the arcade feel, not a big deal all things considered.
I was kind of upset they were running a deal for $20 you get 2 hours of play they give you 500 points loaded onto the card but they neglect to tell you that all the points you collect during play you do not get any of them then after two cards were purchased we were told that we were not allowed to play claw games or coin push games after the fact. Not good business ethics. So all in all that deal is really not the greatest considering almost half of the games that are there are claw and coin games sorry th
We love love LOVE Ryan's!!!!! Clean, and very friendly! We've gone to bowl as a family, with a group in church, and as a part of a birthday party, and we've always had a fantastic experience each and every time.
Took my kids here for a birthday party. They had a blast: bowled for an hour and half, had some cake and played video games. The place is clean and the staff was helpful. ??
We had a blast here, very easy to win points. We got lots of prizes!
My family loves this place. Perfect size arcade and game selection for kids under 10. We love the 2hr for $20 deal.
Kids had a blast sharing Nicky's 4th Birthday Party!!
Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Family loves coming here because they treat us with kindness and respect. Other places from this franchise haven't done so except for this one from Buzzards Bay. Thank you guys for being you.
We usually always have my sons Birthday party here he likes it, we do the mystic party there's bowling games and pizza the only things is they don't do the the cake I have to buy it and its a little pricey for birthdays but other then that the kids love it and have fun...
Yay candlepin bowling!! Yay arcade games!! This was peak birthday experience in elementary school and it's still fun! ????
My granddaughter had fun.
My son loves all the Ryan's Family Amusements. Great family entertainment at a fair price!! Great choices for tickets earned as well.
Great small family friendly bowling alley with arcade games. Especially nice to come during the less busy time slots. Can get quite loud during busy times.
Took a date here to go bowling and played candlestick bowling for the first time and had an awesome time. Everyone was friendly and definitely recommended going here to have a good time
I am 2 weeks into my 1st bowling league and love it. The safe is excellent, and the facility bright and clean.
Went to Ryan's tonight, the lady at the counter Savannah was excelnt she helped my uncle decide what prize he wanted to get for his young kid and was cool about me spending 1000 tickets on jolly ranchers, I hope this place never goes out of business
Great Place in Bourne , MA to candlestick bowl, or gather tickets from the Redemption Arcade
arcade is very fun, and the claw machine games actually aren't rigged. My little cousin won like 5 prizes on the claw machine.
I'm kids and I went there last Saturday afternoon and they had a amazing time won a lot of tickets and got a lot of prizes with the tickets the staff was great with them
Good old fashion fun ... not very big but if you catch at the right time (which is generally early afternoon) then there is not many people
Great place for younger kids. Just enough rides and games.
So Much Fun! Arcade & candlepin bowling with a truly wonderful, kind & super helpful staff everytime we visit!! TYVM ! we'll be back again & again ??
It was good, comfortable atmosphere, appears to be family friendly, looks like a nice place for a family to go out to on a Friday night
Great spot for families! Small arcade for kids, serves beer for adults, and bowling for everyone!
With Covid 19 restrictions in place, Pam, the manager, is doing a great job. We all feel so safe.
Just great fun. I had my daughters birthday here and the staff took care of any questions or concerns I had.
Outstanding! Family friendly location with amazing staff. We'll be back!
My kids love it here. Any time we are going to be close we make sure to plan some time here.
Had a ton of fun in the arcade, staff was really nice as well.
Love this Ryan's! The staff here is amazing and they always go out of your way to make sure that your visit is amazing :)
Ryans is fine, it's just old, run-down and kinda ghetto. If you're bored outta your mind with nothing to do, Ryans is better than nothing.
We went to a kids Birthday party there. Everyone had a great time!
The definition of Cape Cod in the winter; - Dark - Dirty - Alcohol available - Rogue kids asking you if you phone has any games on it - Random warlock at lane six asking you if you can be his champion to get the last crystal of the Darthraxium Realm to stop the evil lord Lorfixdargundath from conquering all of Sweden - 90's era arcade games
IDK if I'm getting old or what.. but arcade is expensive for the value you get
My 5 yr old son had so much fun visiting here for a birthday party
We had fun. the girl who gets to bring her cat with her to work, was great!!
Very clean. Not too bad on the wallet. Much more updated than when I was younger.
The arcade was amazing and the bowling was great I would always come here for a birthday party
Got snacks drinks bowling arcade. Kids had a blast and we got 10000 points in a night we will be coming back
We had an amazing experience with the birthday party!
Joined an adult league there. A lot of fun and Torri is the best and other staff very nice as well.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Great place to hang out with friends!
Great place. I go here a lot with my friends do and family.
My daughter loves to go bowling and play games here with her friends.
Rillix coaster got an upgrade. Hand-tracking based rail shooting and leader boards!
Great candlepin bowling, they have console video games as well. Earn ticket and get prizes
Can truly say you will have a wonderful time here with your family. :)
Most fun I had with my friends
Staff are really friendly. Good place to being the kids
Decent place, we had a good time and it was very cheap!
Decent place. Arcade is pricey is you don't do the unlimited pass.
Don't let the cover image fool you. They only have candle pin bowling.
Bowling and arcade. My son loves it here
Employees helpful and polite. The kids had fun...
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
