This arcade downtown is small but fun $20=88 tokens, no cards like at the mall location. Parking is downtown so good luck, some houseless Peps around looking for change, or high so be careful. I wouldn't get the food, except for the package items. They offer adults drinks. The staff are great when it comes to machine errors. The air conditioning is almost non-existent.
Fun, little arcade in downtown Bellingham. Great for morning and between meal fun for families. Also, they have pinball games and classics as well as modern games. Plinko and skeet ball and a few others give out tickets. There's also a tiny food area too. Fun place!
Fun for kids and adults. Ice cream and sodas for the kids, beers and hard ciders for the parents. Lots of good pinball and arcade games, as well as games that give tickets so kids can redeem for candy or trinkets. Awesome, kind staff!
Affordable and fun for all ages. The pinball selection is pretty grand. I think I've only found Reno to have a better selection of pinball machines in an arcade these days.
Stumbled upon this cute little arcade. It's not even that little! Good selection of games that take quarters! So nostalgic. Won a finger trap...worth every penny.
Large selection of local ciders, great prices , hot dogs are huge and so are the orders of chili cheese nachos.. I need to stop being competitive with myself about earning tickets though ????????????
I went there and half the machines either jammed or I got scammed out of a rewards. I had to go up to the employees for help every 10 minutes. The enamel machine was miscalibrated so it was impossible to win (the hook literally never got to over the hole before it dropped the pin). After I made the employees on duty aware, they did nothing. not even put an "out of order" sign on it. The big bass machine bugged out when we were supposed to get the "1000 tickets" (the largest price by far in the place) and i
Our kids love this place. Great pinball and decent beer selection too.
Went here on Monday with a five year old. He won 500 tickets on one game at once, after going through the $20 we spent on tokens and cashed them in we only had a little over 600 tickets. I was surprised how low the count was as he had done well on other games, I asked the employee about this and they admitted the ticket counter was not correct and only offered us 100 more points. I thought this was pretty shady. Otherwise a good time.
Half the machines are either jammed or scam you out of rewards. I had to ask employees for help every 10 minutes, but they didn't do squat. When a machine is broken, they would refund SOME of the tokens lost, and they never put an "out of order" sign on any of the games that we're CLEARLY BROKEN, leaving other people to try and play and inevitably lose their money. The Big Bass machine glitched when we were supposed to win 1000 tickets (we only got 15) and after flagging down an employee they told us that t
There is not much my 3yo daughter would rather do than go to the arcade. It's especially nice in these times to have a safe, fun place for our whole family to enjoy. Plus she's learning: the value of her dollars; hand-eye coordination; that it is important to take turns and share; delayed gratification; and which flavor ice cream she prefers.
Fun place! My daughter enjoys the rubber duck and squishy claw machines the most because they are play til you win.
It's a good place to bring friends or kids but don't expect to play for hours here. The games are reasonably priced and if you want to show your kids the old arcade experience tickets and all this is a good option. Since not all games offer tickets though it probably isn't worth playing for the big prizes.
This place is awesome! They have a great selection of games for all ages. Staff is kind and friendly. They have a new PONG game that is a blast to play either by yourself or with a friend.
I've always enjoyed coming here. It's a great place to bring the kids even if just for 30 minutes or so. Super easy to get cards for the games, and there are counting machines for the tickets. Makes it pretty easy when you go to check out with kids. Staff is always super friendly as well! Great place to take the whole family.
ive been going in this establishment almost everyday since before the pandemic and the games are rigged by the owner he raises and lowers the pinball games so the balls drain and u barely get to hit the ball he disconnect the doecial features like the multi ball do u cant get enough points to when a free game the ticket games are also rigged i got good at the bumblebee game and he switched it took out a bunch of balls and turned the air up on high so its impossible to catch the balls im not wasting my money
It's a fun place to play some games and earn some tickets. They have a variety of games and some pinball machines. For some reason it's always hot and humid there, not sure if they don't turn their AC on or if the crowd of people and the machines make it hard to keep up with. Besides that, it's a great time with family!
When I come here, the games inside are either broken or will break, and then the folks at the counter tell you there's nothing you can do. Every time I walk out of here, I feel disappointed that I wasted my money here. I'd give zero stars if it were possible.
Fun place for all ages. Everyone was masked and it was nice and clean. Friendly staff ??
Awesome kids working there Lots of fun
Ok place for pb. Vibe has changed recently under new management and there's been a notable attempt to continually extract more money from clientele as time passes. Instead of actively trying to bring in more value (ie more tables or events) that would draw in a crowd and turn profit, there's repeated attempts to shake down players with more stringent gameplay (increased free replay scores, stricter gameplay and now reduced multiball time) which ONLY hurts regular customers. Staff also spend way too much t
I love wasting time here after dinner or before seeing music. There is ice cream and tacos as well. You can get tickets for cheesy toys or just have fun. Race or play pinball to your hearts content.
Such a cute, clean place to spend time in. We popped in for an hour tonight on a whim and had the best time. The man working tonight was so kind and friendly, speaking with everyone and creating such a fun atmosphere. Would go again!
Such a fun arcade! Reasonable prices for the coins that you can buy and a good selection of games!
One of the only arcades in town that is all ages. Check the downtown location for some late night pinball, or the mall location for birthdays and younger kid get together. Lots of classic games as well as newer games. If your a gamer it's worth the check-out.
Charlie is an absolute legend and one of the best service workers that I have ever seen! Ocean and I appreciate you! We'll definitely be back to the Ruckus Room thanks to Charlie?s fantastic service. Fox was also wonderful and a great asset to your team too. Thank you both for all that you do!
They don't have the best selection of games and the prizes are outrageously expensive so you'd better come with a lot of cash if you want to win anything good. The games are pretty fun though, and they serve ice cream and beer which is a big plus.
Absolutely love it! Pretty decent selection of older games I remember from being a kid as well as a nice row of some pretty cool pinball machines. Good choice of beers and non-alcoholic drinks plus some snacks. Will absolutely be going back very soon, my girlfriend and I went and both had a lot of fun!
Good selection of affordable games (ticket games, pinball, arcade fighting and shooting games, air hockey, crane machines, pinball, arcade basketball)! A fun and safe atmosphere for all ages! I enjoyed that they have a variety beers, ciders, soda, water, and other various drinks and snacks. Their prizes are so cute and fun! And a great way to wrap up your visit there.
I took my son here today for his 6th birthday and it was an absolute blast! So many games, great prizes, wonderful staff. $20 gets you 88 tokens and that's honestly a lot! That's enough for 22 games that take 4 tokens each but a lot of them take just one or two per game! They have a good variety of drinks that don't cost you an arm and a leg! The only thing I would change is for the AC to be beefed up because it was WAAARRRMMMM but it's an old building and the drinks are cold so it was still a great time!!
It isn't the biggest place and there isn't a ton is space, however, staff are absolutely amazing and patient even when it's busy and a machine had a coin jam. They were also super nice to my kids when they were short a few tickets for a prize. If you have an hour or two and $10-20 bucks, this is a great time. A variety of games means things don't get old.
Good variety of games, some that give tickets and others that don't. Staff will usually round your tickets up a bit to help you get the prize you want. The downtown location has has beer/cider selections for those 21+
This place is awesome for a date night. My fiance and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and this was one of our stops. I had never heard of it, but she suggested it and we were not disappointed. They have lots of vintage games and classic arcade games such as skeeball. They have one where you just spin the wheel to win tickets and my fiance hit the 1000 ticket bonus. It was a great time.
A fun atmosphere and a good place for an outing with friends or family. You can use your tokens on the many games, some you can play against friends with, and if you're looking for a return on your money I would reccomend the pink panther token drop machine. While I was here I also saw 2 people win the 1000 ticket jackpot so it is definitely possible.
We did have a good time at the Ruckus Room. But there needs to be some improvements to their customer experience. It was sweltering hot in the arcade. Also a machine ate a bunch of my tokens and when i let the staff know. They checked the machine. But didn't give me the credits for the lost Tokens.
Decent selection of fighting games and pinball. Prices are fine between 50 cents to 100 cents. Once ticket system is set up will be very kid friendly. Bonus for serving beer, it over prices food. Hope this place can make it...tough market at times in Bellingham.
Great place to meet up with friends, play pinball, skiball, air hockey, and many different other arcade games. The staff is very friendly and they have change making machines so you can get tokens by yourself. Cute little prizes as well
We had such a good time. They did great with covid precautions. They were cleaning surfaces and had 3 hand sanitizing stations. Everyone was masked and the employees were super nice and patient when my 10 year old took an eternity to pick his prizes.
Great arcade! The pinball machines are well priced, with the majority of them costing 50 cents per play, and 2$ for 5 plays. They also have arcade games that you can win tickets on, and prizes youcan collect with those tickets. They serve soda, beer, ice cream, and snacks. Fun for 10 minutes while waiting for the bus, or for hours of entertainment.
Splendid arcade in downtown Bellingham. I take my son's there any time that I have an opportunity. It is clean, kid-friendly and has some really great pinball machines. As well, the games are well priced, so I don't feel like I am spending a ton of money, instead I get a ton of fun. They also offer ice cream and pop for sale.
This place is so cool! When I went, they were still having their soft opening so there were still a few games that were not ready yet, but 95% of the games were up and running. It looks like they are wanting to have ticket prizes in the future as well!! Tons of pinball machines as well as nostalgic arcade games from your childhood. All of the games take quarters, but if you don't have cash for the quarter machine you can purchase a roll of quarters for $10 with your card. There's snacks and drinks for sale;
Just stopped in to look at it. Didn't play anything.
Great place to have birthday parties! Or for impromptu fun. Be spontaneous and challenge someone, or beat my high score on the skeeball (iceball) Slide in and lighten your coin purse! Tons of fun and many machines are just a quarter to play! I love it here. Great arcade!
Soooo much fun! I can't believe I hadn't gone here until last night, such a blast! The air hockey and old school games are awesome. There's basketball, skii ball, tabletop pong, tabletop Pac-Man, pinball, the jurassic park game and more! What a gem!
This is not a good place to take ur family. They have rowdy crowds of young adults who aggressively panhandle. I felt unsafe taking my son and my girlfriend because of the homeless who drink beer and become aggressive inside. Ive seen my share of drug deals and fights go down in this shady establishment. No thank you... I never feel safe here and cant recommend this to family's.
Loving the 4-player table version of Pac-man. The people that work there super cool and really friendly. It's awesome having an arcade downtown, instead of yet another bar. But they do serve beer, so fear not bar flies.
Excellent game selection, fun prizes, and friendly staff! Their pinball machines are in nice condition and fixed quickly. There are also lots of fun prizes and new prizes come in quite often. Definitely recommended for pinball and arcade enthusiasts!
This arcade is great. The kids lived it. My favorite is the pinball machines. I could stay on them all day. The kids liked the ticket games and the car driving games. Its a fun time for anyone.
I love this place, bar next door so I can get a beer while the kids play. Games are a little dated, but what you usually see at an arcade. Place is very kid friendly but still has games that anyone would enjoy.
The place seems less retro and more an island of misfit toys. The staff was great but way too many machines were out of order. Some of the games did not match their cabinet and multiple machines ate a quarter or two. It was also disappointing that almost every game was 50 cents or more. Yeah inflation is a real thing but 25 cents is the right price for any game made before 1990. The place would be pretty cool if the machines were restored and/or refurbished. I hope they make enough money to reinvest in thei
I took my girls there for a rainy Saturday retreat. We had a lot of fun playing pinball and wack-a-mole. I can wait for the the contact games and prizes to get up and running. My fav part, beers. Check it out if you like to drink beer and play pinball and everything else. If you get hungry just go next door. Fun times.
Really fun place for kids and adults. The only complaint is the parking sucks. Paid parking ugg
Fun spot especially after a very long time of covid. Unique games like pac-man, pong, ski ball & pin ball. Masking required, hand sanitizer available. Love the air hockey and foosball type table. Great staff. Overall great spot! Thanks Ruccus room for a positive distraction from today's scene!
A good selection of games and a nice atmosphere and I think they are only in their soft open, so once they really get going I am sure it will be even better. They have some tables and chairs in the middle, and I assume they will have food soon, and probably be a great place to have a birthday party.
Family friendly arcade that serves beer in a bottle or can. A lot of older arcade games and a wall of pinball machines mixed in with some newer games. They do the old trade in tickets for prizes thing, so that's fun. I definitely needed a bouncy ball! They serve Bodhizafa IPA and a couple farmstrong beers that my group was happy about. Lots of fun here. You can get quarters here too!
So much fun. Only thing is that every time i go in there is at least 1 game down in need if maintenance; however they do seem to be older games so i shouldn't knock it to much. They do sell beer here so that's a definite plus
Its exciting to see an arcade opening up in bellingham! Their fast and furious game is only a quarter on replays so you can go a long time without tons of cash into it. As of 2/27 no ticket games but they had some fun prizes up on their wall and it looked like they were coming really soon. I will be back!
Another great pinball place. Has air hockey, some racing, a few cabinets, skee-ball, and some ticket/prize games. AND a pinball tournament every Thursday at 7. They change machines out, so it's worth coming back to. If only they sold whiskey and not just beer/cider and such...
Small storefront arcade with a variety of token operated games of various challenges. Some issue tickets based on score, tickets that can be exchanged for an ever-changing array of "penny" toys. A good place to spend a little time while waiting for bus at WTA Bellingham station.
Not quite. Too small and lacking modern games. I love arcades and really wanted to like this one, but it was cramped and lacked any exciting games except for the 4 player pacman is awesome. The change machine ate my $20, the staff fixed it and got me my coins but it was annoying to walk in and immediately have to to wait 10 minutes to start playing while they figured it out. They had some good pinball games, but people kept bumping me and stuff because it was so cramped in there. A loud birthday party showe
Had a really fun time, they had this Japanese rhythm game that was really fun.
My wife and I like going here. Some good memories. They are very strong on wearing a mask with little leeway. The games are mostly fair priced. Skip the food.
Nice place, could use more actual classic video games. Focus is mostly on ticket earning games. My 6 year old had a wonderful time.
Great selection of good working pinball machines, cheap prices on games.
They have an awsome star wars flight/combat game as well as a pretty sweet 2 player dinosaur shooter game. There are also several pretty cool looking pinball machines and lots of other arcade style games as well. All in all a pretty awsome place to hang out and have some fun.
Very friendly staff and lots of fun games. Was just wishing to see more claw machines. But all in all it was a great experience. My nephew was smiling from ear-to-ear.
Fun concept. I like that you can but rolls of quarters with a card for those of us that don't carry cash. It is a very small location and wasn't the cleanest, especially the bathrooms. Overall good fun though.
Kids loved it. I did too. It wasnt too expensive. $20 worth of quarters will go a long way. They also have ice cream and over priced licorice. Im saving my change to take the kids there again.
A little old school with the amount of pinball machines. Love the whole place, the staff is amazing and sweet. The games take tokens, not the card.
Awesome arcade and cool prizes, but I miss the good ol days of being able to drink a beer between playing or get my daughter ice cream or snacks. Edit September 2022-YAY beer, cider and food are back!!! ????
The Ruckus Room is fun for all ages! They have a great selection of games from old school pin ball machines to multi-player Jurassic Park! Come for the ski ball, stay to slay dinosaurs!!
An arcade with various arcade games and pinball machines. There are games to win tickets, including a skee-ball-type game, and exchange them for prizes. The also have Killer Queen, a large, 10-person co-op game. A good way to spend an afternoon.
Is a great place to go to feel like a kid again, they have beer for adults, soda, food, ice cream and much more. quarters always on hand out but your self and 10$ roll they accept cash and card. New games to come soon.
It was nice just need games with more tickets for the little ones!
Such a great place to take the kids. All kids if ticket games and regular arcade games. Highlight of my day was winning s huge stuffed animal for my son????
The floor was a bit packed and games were limited but my daughter enjoyed herself which was the goal so overall it was a fun evening.
Fun arcade. Had a blast. Several games for all ages. Prie booth and small cafe in back. Had a lot of fun here thank you
Was a great place until they still require masks after the mandate has been lifted. We are taking our business to 1-Up Lounge with no requirements.
The pinball machines were great, but I hate that you have to buy their tokens to play. My only other gripe is how hot it was in here.
Always fun to bring the kids here. Affordable game play and pretty good ice cream too!
Arcades are making a comeback thanks to places like this. Fun for all ages. A mix of retro and new games. My favorites are the bee game, bubble hockey and star wars.
Lov-it! Keeps me sane, N the membrane. Can laugh, alittle yelling, telling Herman Munster. I got this! Wen i might just knot. Playing "pinball" fill'en "groove" thks "ruckus room" boom! Mask up /\ ?? safe
C'mon. Of course this place is fun. Well worth it despite the smaller space. Great way to kill an hour or two(and your wallet).
This place ia great. I haven't been there for a good while and they have so many options for non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages minus hard alcohol since it is an all ages location. You guys rock ?
Good old fashioned arcade with pinball, arcade machines (talking Simpson and Avengers 4 player) and ticket games. Staff was incredible, and it was a nice venue for a child birthday.
A small (actually perfectly sized) arcade in the heart of downtown Bellingham. They have a good variety of games and the staff person was extremely patient with my young kid.
A great place to kill time with your significant other, friends, your kids, or your friends' kids.
Great place to have quick fun times. Great for children and not a bad place for a date. Has a good selection of drinks on sale.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
