This place is great! We booked the kids party package, and it was an amazing experience. The Event Manager (Maria) at RPM was super helpful! She had all the details ready and easily accessible, and made all the accommodations (catering/decorations/party favor). On the day of the party, Jahmeir took care of everything for us and the kids loved it! They had 2 races, and so much arcade time! And because my son enjoyed it so much, we purchased a membership as well. Thank you RPM for an awesome time!!!
We enjoyed RPM Raceway on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too crowded, but I can imagine it being hectic during a busier time. All three boys (ages 8-9) enjoyed themselves. I also raced and found it fun as well. The kids enjoyed the arcade as well as the virtual reality experience. I suggest you register and complete the waiver online prior to arrival to avoid having to do it at the kiosks. One round of racing ($30 or $23 if you are a member) is eight laps (7 mins). The employees are helpful. We did not eat h
This place exceeded my expectations in so many ways. First of all, it was an absolute blast! But what really made it was the people who worked there. I booked a last minute party of 12 people online on Thursday, trying to reserve three races for the following Saturday. I thought we could go as a walk in but panicked last minute wanting to make sure we would be able to race together. I called Friday morning to see if they could accommodate my last minute request. I spoke with Maria who originally said she c
Very good experience overall. They have change of system so took a while to migrate our free ride from membership. Plenty of free parking but takes an hour or longer in waiting for the ride,so plan accordingly. Offer 220 arcade credits for 40$. No outside food allowed.
It was so much fun! The wait wasn't bad, the race was fun and so were the other games. The price was reasonable, the place and bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Would definitely go back!
One of the best customer service experiences we have had. I have to mention Nicholas by name because he was incredibly helpful in guiding us through our first time here. He answered every question, was patient and polite. Will definitely return. This location is organized, clean and well-run
Amazing place for an unparalleled go-karting experience! I came here with a friend and we enjoyed every moment. The track is well-maintained, the karts are high-quality and fast, and the atmosphere is simply electric. The staff is friendly and professional, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for action and fun! We'll definitely be back soon!
My favorite Go-Kart spot. Not only because I made the track 2 record :) but most of all for the speed. After racing at RPM, the Supercharged Entertainment feels like a child play. I highly recommend it, and I'll be having fun there soon again, too.
Awesome place with a great arcade. The go jars are fun and go about 30-35. There's two tracks which is ideal for a change of pace. Makes you feel like you're playing Mario kart in real life. Staff was great and friendly very helpful and were quick to give us the information needed. You can also ask for a printout of your race with times and everything.
It was a great adventure! my grandchildren celebrated their birthday there they enjoyed it I found a wallet and turned it into the lost and found hopefully the owner got it back
My kids had a blast! I purchased a membership and enjoyed the arcade games. Fairly Priced lots of parking
I love this place. My family?s first time here!!! Staff were all dope and I'm recommending all to go enjoy!!
It was a small cozy place. Not a lot of people during a Saturday morning. We went here on 01/18/2025, did couple races from 1 to 3. But after 3pm it get very crowded. Lane is long and not a lot of arcades todo. Over all it is still a great experience.
I would definitely recommend this place! I brought my son here for his 13th birthday and we ABSOLUTELY HAD A BLAST!!! They have everything from Virtual Reality, Arcade Games of all sorts, Food, drinks and of course SNACKS!!! , and an indoor racetrack. 10 out of 10 stars from me ! And we will be returning ! The staff were amazing to say the least, and very friendly! Clean place all around, the entire family will love it ??
Great? fun experience, my kids absolutely loved it. I would recommend it for any type of event. Jaheir was very helpful and professional, his input made our signing in process so much easier, thank you.
This is a good sized RPM, but I really want to shout out Nicholas, who checked us in? we had a large group, with different age groups, some members some not, and he really stuck with us and made everything easy for us and got us into the earliest races. This was excellent customer service!
Great entertainment for kids and family, I came here with my nephews and I had a great time. Also, katz can win a whole bunch of tickets and get some stuff from the shop for free. There's also some food available. STAFF IS REALLY NICE AND HELPFUL
We hosted a birthday event at RPM Raceway and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was professional, friendly, and made everything run smoothly. The racing was a huge hit with our group?super fun, well-organized, and safe. The venue was clean, high-energy, and perfect for a memorable outing. Highly recommend for team events, birthdays, or just an adrenaline-filled day with friends. Big thanks to Maria and the team for making it all so easy and enjoyable!
I've been here like 15 times over the last five years. I think today may have been my last visit. There was an 8 second difference between my best lap on my first race and my best lap on my second race. It's a fun place to try karting for the first time, or for like a kids birthday. But the carts are so inconsistent that anyone with a competitive spirit and even a rudimentary knowledge of how to race is going to leave frustrated and unfulfilled.
Not the best experience, for some reason they were stopping the race like 4 times in the same race. The cars aren't that fast, but I'm not sure if it was because most of the people whom where there were new , and were learning how to drive the cars . I liked more other branches
We went to RPM for my son?s 10th birthday. We had so much fun on the Go Karts and the arcade. The staff was very helpful and made sure they observed safety protocols while being friendly and fun. Overall it was a great time.
RPM Racing is a fun, kid-friendly venue with plenty of excitement for the whole family. The pricing is moderately expensive, making it a great option for an unique day out.
Our contact person was Maria and she was very detailed and clear with the information on our booking. We took my daughter for her birthday celebration, and it was a great experience for her as well as her friends. They really enjoyed themselves and had so much fun. Chris was our server and he was very hands on with making sure we had all we needed. Clean, Fun, family friendly space.
My husband and I are visiting from Texas and we decided to come here for one of his birthday ventures? Joe, R and Rachel exceeded our expectations with their customer service! We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning soon! Thank you guys for such a great experience!
My son had a lot of fun with the arcade and racing and they put cameras on the helmet during the racing and you could view that footage afterwards. It's pretty cool.
We held my son?s 13th bday gathering here and the event was amazing from start to finish! My son and 9 friends got to race two on a private track , eat pizza , play games - we had a fantastic party host too who took care of us the entire time! Also Maria in event planning was great setting everything up for us. Highly recommend this place for parties and we will def be going back just to race and have fun!!!
Jaheir, Jayla, and Imani were so wonderful. all of RPM was incredibly accommodating to our large party, giving us a room unexpectedly. 10/10 recommend as a team bonding event!
It's a great place to race. $30 a race and $2 (bills only) lockers for phones and purses. You don't need a license! Now they have kids and adults races. We did have some teens riding with us which was annoying because they can't maneuver like an experienced driver and were slow or bumped into us. They do slow you down a few times while racing which isn't fun at all! Some carts have tight steering wheels just ask to which carts. Nonetheless it was a nice experience. Thank you!
Fast course and good games to keep the kids engaged. One car died on us and they refunded the race right away. Good job!
Its not hot in here like alot of places & the staff is very welcoming. Junelys & Alejandra are sooo cool and helpful.
It is my 1st time here and I am already impressed! A lot of hosts helping you, ambiance is awsome, kids have a lot of fun!!
This place was really fun! Very pleasant inside. Some workers were a bit lazy, but it's okay. Most were nice. The place got kind of crowded after a bit. I recommend going during weekdays or early during weekends. Race tracks are fun. They challenge your driving skill. Races are time based. To win, you have to get the fastest lap time. One complaint I have is that the karts had a design flaw. The gas and brake pedals, well I can barely call them pedals. They are literally pieces of metal. No resistance wha
This is not only my review of RPM Raceway NJ, but also of my experience getting there. I'm focusing on this place as a go-karting track since ?Raceway? is literally in the name. If you want the summary: Don't come here if you're a racing fan. I was visiting family in Brooklyn and saw an ad in the subway about a big karting track only 9 min. from downtown Manhattan by public transport. As I don't have a car, that sounded great. So I planned my trip to Richard St station. Despite being physically close to the
It is an excellent place! You feel like a professional pilot.
The race track is nice. The karts are also good, but the operators need some retraining and system needs speed recalibration. And here is why? In a team race, within the same alloted time, if 1 person goes for 2 more laps than the rest of the group, how can he be 3rd? It is technically impossible. The highest speed per rider they show on the big screen needs major recalibration. So many karts died in every race of our event that people had to switch karts mid race , messing up their racing fun and stats. T
RPM Raceway in Jersey City is hands down one of the best indoor go-karting experiences around. I've been here several times, both just for fun and for private events with my clients, and every time, it's been an absolute blast. The karts are fast, the competition is exciting, and the entire setup is well-run and professional. Hosting an event here was a great decision?the staff was accommodating, everything was well-organized, and my clients had an amazing time. It's a fantastic spot whether you're looking
The kids had so much fun. Its a very clean place for the kids to play. The staff was great!
5-Star Review for RPM Raceway RPM Raceway is hands down one of the best places for family fun and excitement! I've been coming here with my son, and every visit has been an unforgettable experience. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great time, and the facilities are always clean, well-maintained, and ready for action. A special shoutout to the manager, Josh, who made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. His friendly attitude and professionalism set the tone for an amazi
Amazing place for a birthday party, the venue took care of everything, we just had to show up with a cake and the birthday kid. Our host Jaheir was so kind and organized, he was on top of all the arrangements took care of the kids, cutting the cake the gifts and helped with the setup. definitely ask for his services if you decide to host your party here
Had so much fun! The track so cool. I've never been to a go-cart place with a track like this. The arcade area is nice as well, having the standard games. There is food available (but we had just eaten so didn't get anything). If you're not a member the racing can get pricey at $30 a race. One down side is kids under 13 and adults cannot race together. They have 3 classes for racing (12 and younger/13+ unlicensed and licensed....not sure the age minimum on this one). All in all it's a fun place to go on a c
Super fun place, friendly staff. Great way to spend a few hours.
Very cool spot, but this location doesn't have laser tag. The racing was worth it for sure. Food was not the best, low tier bar food. Great for a kids birthday party though! I went with 6 adults and it was a fun time but definitely more for kids.
Would give this place an 8/10, it is very fun, and you can go fast without bumping, there's lots of games to play while you wait Couple cons include: somewhat pricey considering every race is 6 minutes, if you are a reckless driver other people on the track won't allow you to go as fast. Overall a fun place to visit but definitely pricey, for such a short amount of time. Also food is extremely expensive, charging more than restaurants would.
On Saturday, we waited more than two hours and still didn't get hour turn. After my kids used up all the points in their game card which is about 40 minutes, the staff told me I would wait for another hour cuz there are 7 races in front of me. After waited one hour, the staff told waited for 30 minutes for the next 3 or 4 races. After the 30 minutes, still nothing came and I waited for another 30minutes. After more than 2 hours waiting, I asked another staff and she told me there are still 6 races in front
I've been to RPM Raceway three times now, and each visit has been a great experience. The go-kart racing is fast-paced and exciting, and the arcade always has a fun variety of games to enjoy. It's a perfect spot for family time?safe, clean, and entertaining for all ages. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun day out!
The worst arcade I've ever been to literally half the Arcade Games are either broken or turned off they haven't been fixed for Months and the employees I've encountered are nice but no matter how hard they try this place is still messy the only reason it's making money is because of the racing and nothing else which is extremely expensive btw it's just not worth it to come here the loud rap music just exhausts me even more to where I physically and mentally cannot come back here! Update: I came back here on
They're really poorly organized and there's very poor communication! When we got there no one explained that we had to wait 2 hr to race (which is only 7 mins) and there's no way to make a reservation before hand. The arcade is fun but a lot of the games don't work properly and need to be fix! We spent gas and tolls just to play in an arcade for an hr and then head home. It was a waste of time! I'm hoping the other locations are better but if you're planning to come here, be sure to plan ahead for an extens
Its a nice place to spend some hours with your kids. The kart track is unique and pretty spectacular especially with all the lights. I didn't liked the karts. They are Not good at all. Electric. Auto brake. Slow. If you want to kart (race, slide, etc) stay away. Its not professionally orientated. Its more a kids fan park. Not a kart racing facility
Reasonably priced and SUPER fun indoor go carting track & arcade! We waited about an hour on a rainy Saturday night, but it was absolutely worth it! Only 30$ a person & compared to other similar indoor tracks in New England, it's pretty cheap. Great date night spot with or without the kids as they have "junior" races for the younger folks, which I thought was pretty cool.
We don't visit RPM Raceway often, though it's close to home. While the location is convenient, the experience tends to be frustrating due to how unorganized the process feels. You can be called for a race and still end up waiting 30?45 minutes before actually racing?often sitting in the kart far longer than necessary, which takes away from the fun. We prefer to make the longer drive to Supercharged in Edison, NJ. It's probably just as busy (if not busier), but their operations are much more streamlined and
RPM never disappoints! We did a 3-race package with some colleagues and had a tremendous time. The staff is professional & friendly, the atmosphere is amazing and the cars are fast! Channel your inner Ricky Bobby and head out to RPM. "If you ain't first, you're last!"
My son who is 6yrs old loves it here! He could spend all day driving. For kids who aren't tall enough there are plenty of arcade games to keep them busy. Fun day for the whole family!
My helmet FOGGED UP as soon as we went on to the racing track and i hit a wall. I immediately talked to the staff who just got angry and said I shouldn't be driving that fast? afterwards I asked all my friends and all of their helmet were fogged. I'm sure this happens a lot and RPM is not doing anything about this safety hazard?
What an outstanding place for some family fun especially on a cold winter day. Roseanna the manager was so knowledgeable and professional, actually the entire staff was great. The place is clean and the food was good quality for concession food. We had so much fun! I highly recommend RPM for all ages!
Had my son?s 13th birthday here. It was such a great place to kick off being a teenager. They did a great job in managing the kids and my son and his buddies had a blast. My son and his buddies also look forward to getting older and driving, and this place definitely gave them that feeling now as a fun and safe experience. They also really had fun hanging out in the gaming area afterwards. The amount given in the party package was just enough for added fun. Highly recommend this place!
Excellent experience, the staff was very friendly, everything was well-organized and clean. It's a great opportunity to do something different, full of adrenaline, in the city with your friends. I highly recommend it.
I love it i came with my family on my birthday. It was a great Idea to come as a birthday.
One of my favorite family friendly karting places! There is a nice track for both the yound and the adults! Overall a fun a expierience
This place is so much fun. Honestly fancy dinners are great but if you can't have fun with your partner like this, why are you even with them?!?!? I've never done go-kart racing before. I was terrified, so much so that I almost quit. But my fianc? was so excited for me to experience this with him I could not let him down. I am glad I did it. The race was so exciting. I came in last place but that's ok it was still so much fun. The only thing missing from this location is a bar.
Was excited to try out racing here in from Charlotte and have only raced gas karts. I got onto the track kart was unbelievably slow and felt unresponsive going uphill. I mentioned something to the employee because I made the huge mistake of wasting 60 dollars on 2 races and on my second race the kart was slightly faster but still would slow down on the straights bog down going uphill and just overall was the worst kart experience I've ever had. As for the track layout it was great and the feeling of the kar
Fun place for kids and adults! 10 laps cost $30 bucks and is good enough time for beginners. They also have yearly membership that makes the experience even more economical. They have separate tracks for kids and Adults. Well maintained cars with focus on safety. My 7 and 11 year olds had a blast. There are whole bunch of arcade games that I would stay away from. For GoKarting, this is a really nice place!
Honestly, this was the first and last time we went there. The staff at the race kart that was carrying the flags was super rude. We were hoping to have a nice afternoon with friends, but we all left disappointed because that person's attitude was super bad. Honestly, if I go back it wouldn't be for the race and I wouldn't recommend it with such rude staff like that. He just screamed at everyone as if he expected us to be professionals driving the carts and to know absolutely everything. We wasted our money
I truly love this place! My friends and me had an amazing time and races. If you really want to have a great race, try to come during the weekdays. I tried both, weekends and weekdays, so during the weekend it is usually very crowded, longer waiting time and not as much fun to race because usually all karts are occupied and there are not a lot of space to enjoy your rides. Weekdays work much better for me. Also I like arcade games, especially basketball game. 100% recommended to spend your time with your fr
I hope i got the fastest time today??. I actually like this place is fun. The vibe is really good. Definitely recommend. And when you get out you can go the liberty state park and relax.
We had a wonderful time. We raced with racer karts. It was so much fun. Punching machine, my grown sons were competing for highest score. We will come back there again.
Don't expect to race go carts here. The carts are slowed by the staff multiple times per lap. You spend more time moving slow waiting for the restart than anything else. We did 3 races and never had even one lap without being stopped multiple times. Each race is less than 10 minutes and like I said you will only be at the full operating speeds for a small fraction of your time. Checked in around 7pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't crowded at all. First race wasn't until 8:40pm (we were told at the desk it was a
RPM was phenomenal when helping me plan and coordinate my party of 30 for a field trip. Communication was great and my party had no hiccups or issues with their visit. Very happy with the attentiveness shown to our group!
Took my little one here for a solo birthday trip during the week. He wasn't old enough to race but absolutely loved watching and playing the arcade games. We had a blast! Here's a couple videos of my time there but follow me on Instagram to see them all in my stories @merrickleejr
We had a great great time here! There Is plenty of arcade games, the go karts was amazing, the only thing is that the waiting line was mooooore than 1 hour as the lady told us when we got the tickets. But it was amazing!!! The virtual reality experience is amazing too, but the tickets are separate from the points you get for the arcade! Overall, is a good place to spend the sat, we were there for my bf birthday and he was HAPPY!
I'm on vacation and I was excited to race at this location and planned on eating there since I was starving and saw they had food available online.(It was a two hour walk in the cold) When I arrived at the Race Track, the Cafeteria was closed for that day for some reason. After that I was thinking, I can't enjoy the experience if I don't eat so I asked if ordered food with uber eats if I could eat inside since it was cold outside. They said I couldn't. Even if I told them I would clean after me. That was s
I haven't been here in years and I forgot how everything goes but the girls who worked there Aaliyah and Junelys were so helpful and sweet. My bf and I came on a Monday knowing it was going to be empty and we had such a great time! Both tracks were open, had all the arcade games to ourselves. Recommend for dates and hanging out with family/friends.
So went here for my first time on Saturday with friends. And even though the track was fun just trying to get to to our turn was a hassle. we were advised by the front desk it was a 1 hour wait time mind you we got there at 7pm we didn't start our heat race til 945pm. Its like they have no communication with each other they called our heat race 4 times but when we went to go into the pits. We were told that it wasn't our heat race but a different heat race and we still had to wait another two heat races. Ev
We had an amazing time celebrating our son?s birthday at RPM! The kids had a blast, and Liyah was absolutely the best! She helped us with every single detail, making the experience seamless and stress-free.
Nice place, but in my opinion it is more for children 12-17 years old. You can go with friends, but only go-karting, the slot machines are mostly for children. For one race (8 laps ) $ 30 per person, not bad
I have great costumer services. The employees helped and answered questions I had about rpm.
Awesome place to take your kids and super fun for the adults, too! Everybody was so kind and helpful there. Great job RPM! ?????
Customer service I would rate 4/5. I see a lot of five star reviews but sadly, my experience was not amazing. Unfortunately it seems like we went on an ?off day?. It was over run by teenagers yet we came at opening during a weekday. Many of whom sat on the only working arcade games on their phones or hanging in the restrooms. The arcade is not huge at all and many games were out of service including the big attracted VR racing simulator. This entire facility has two stalls-at least in the small female ba
I came to RPM raceway today with a few friends of mine. It was pretty much a triple date and everyone had fun and felt included in the best way. Shoutout to Dion for making our experience 10x better!! I can't wait to come back again, definitely bringing my family here soon
Really fun place especially for go karting! While you wait for the race - tons of arcade options! Came here to spend mothers day and we had a blast!
Always such a blast whenever I come here. It's been a while and the new tracks and rearrangements really spice up the place. Racing is always fun and fast-paced and you can always wind down at the end of every day with a bite to eat and a few new friends.
All I can say is OMG! There's a great need for this awesome establishment in every City. How can we make this happen? I instantly became a kid again, as soon as I entered the threshold of this place. You'll Love it.
Don't waste your money here. First and last time we ever go to RPM. You will spend 90% of your 7 minute race in limp mode going 2 mph. We got one solid lap at full speed the entire race. After the race we went up to the manager to ask for a refund and they had the audacity to tell us that we were lying and that we were 1 second off of the pro?s lap record. The pros must be really slow because we spent every lap in limp mode lol. Biggest waste of money and most unprofessional establishment i?ve ever been to.
This place is very problematic and we did not have a good visit. They do not make it clear that there are multiple groups with the same number, so we were waiting for our heat to be called and there were more than one number 59. We kept being told we were 20 minutes away from our race and it turned into over an hour and a half. We tried to get food while we were waiting, and we were literally told we could not eat until our race was done. I guess they don't want people missing their race, but to deny custom
I wish I could rate this higher however very confusing when you arrive..when my party arrived they said there was 3 races ahead we waited an hour they called our party number however they failed to mention there's 2 sides and even after an hour they advised there is still 3 races ahead..what!!! Also someone confusing and lack of organization everything is all over the place and was told there is a new system blah blah blah wouldn't everyone be trained? It really an excuse if you can deal with 2 hour wait t
First time overall not a bad place didn't have a chance to see the food menu but i didn't see anyone else eating for the 2 hours i. Was there in terms of entertainment the arcades few are VR the rest are like the old games not really attractive but not a bad place to take a day and spend time the price for the laps are a bit on the high price
I chose RPM to host my son's 10th Birthday and it was the best experience for all age groups! Peterson was an awesome host. He didn't rush anything and was very cooperative/helpful. I definitely recommend this venue for any kids dream birthday party!!!
Excellent i loved is great to have fun my son liked
Great place. Well kept and organized. Ricky was very helpful and accommodating to our large group with coordinating for us, he made the experience better too. Thanks
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
