Round One was really fun! My 9 year old and I played one round just to try it out! The atmosphere was calm, not very busy at the time. They had rollers to help kids bowl, bumpers and all around was a fun experience. Was a little pricey ($20 for 1 game). They should really have a cheaper option for noon on a weekday. I think more people from the mall would be in there, if it was $20 to play for 30 mins. We didn't eat any food, but I will update this when we go back. They also had an arcade attached. I'd ge

Stopped by Thursday afternoon, it was not crowded and my were able to play on all the games without wait time. The ice cream was delicious and for $1. Kids had a great time and so did I.

This place was decent on prices when it opened up 2020 then Prices went up just went yesterday and they went up even more 30 dollars will get ya about 10 plays maybe 13 if you play the cheap games. I do like they are upping the inventory of games. BE WARNED THE CLAW MACHINES ARE A LIE they do NOT work don't waste your money I read that in other peoples comments but wow they are a sham. Especially the little ones so cute but the claw is not strong enough to lift push or anything.

Amazing experience at Round1 Vancouver! ?? I had such a great time here! The Vancouver location is super clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. There's so much to do?bowling, arcade games, pool tables, and even karaoke. We spent hours here, and honestly, it didn't feel like enough time to try all the games. The arcade has a nice mix of classic and new games, and I loved that they have some exclusive Japanese games you can't find anywhere else. Bowling was fun too, th

The sales people at the counter assured us that we could use the time play to play a bunch of racing games. Then when we went to play them, they said they didn't work. We waited 20 minutes to speak to a manager, who then told us since it had been more than 20 minutes, they can no longer give us a refund. Talk about lying and then taking our money. Corporate you need to look into this location, I've played all around the USA and never had an issue with management like this.

They increased the price on everything by 2 or 3 times at the prize corner. Tickets are worthless now. The kigurumi were 4-6k tickets just a week ago, now 8-12k. The 300 tickets shirts are now 1k. They never reload the card coin pushers like Gold Railroad or Castlevania. Other Round1s would put a few cards on the field every morning. But here the machines are always empty. Avoid playing the old, big Japanese claw machines (they have a few at the front). Those would often get stuck or spin randomly. Expec

It's a decent place to go to play some arcade games, but it is very spendy. It cost $2 to buy a card. And they're one up from the lowest amount of credits you could buy is $16 which I think gets you like 80 credits which that 80 credits won't last you long at all. You might get like two, maybe three or four games depending on the cost of each game. Other than the horrific price, it's a pretty decent place. But I would much rather go to a nickel arcade and spend $25 and have a good hour or two or longer of p

I would say it's fun to go to round 1 if you wanna play arcade games or winning plsuhies from the crane machines. I visit round 1 sometimes if I get bored or check things out but it can be pricey but have skills if you wanna go to take plushies for win or win tickets from there, which is fun. I won plenty of plsuhies and proud of it and it's fun still. Recommend weekdays or weekends but it's fun and have skills for it. UPDATE: they increase their prices up!!

This place is huge and is so fun. Whether you come with family/kids or just for a night of fun, they have adult only hours after a certain time and great prices throughout the day. The games are always serviced, decent priced, and fun to play. Bowling is also decent priced and they have a nice food court as well as bar.

Went on a "Family Game Night" w/ Fiancee' and 10 yr old Daughter. Had an absolute blast because 1. It was a weeknight so we had the bowling area to ourselves. 2. The Food Bar was open this time and past 3x it's been closed so that the employee could tackle other duties around the arcade. 3. It's the most affordable place to bowl in comparison to 3 nearby bowling alleys. (((WE paid 35$ for an hour, and 4$ each for shoes... was about to get in 1 full game and the 2nd we were ONE frame away from finishing. We

Although cool place the customer service was awful. Waited over 6 mins for someone to help us n there was no line. Food was greasy. Ordered a pizza n they didn't have any toppings we asked for. Upon getting pizza there were no napkins. When I asked for some I was told they didn't have any. Not impressed by the people who were working at all.

Its an arcade with tons of noise and kids everywhere, but you have to deal with it. It's a great place for the kids to play. Not too crazy expensive. The staff are teenagers, so yeah. Get a drink and have as much fun as you can.

Brought the family bowling for my son's 24th birthday. They had a blast. The service was fantastic. Everything was clean. $33 each for two hours of bowling, unlimited pitchers of soda and 2 slices of pizza seems reasonable.

0 stars Overpriced, Disrespectful, and Discriminatory This place charges a lot of money but offers very little in terms of hospitality or customer service. From the moment we arrived, the energy felt off. My ID was checked multiple times throughout the night, while I watched other guests come and go without the same treatment. It felt targeted and discriminatory. They didn't even have the right bowling shoe sizes available, which is ridiculous given the price you pay to be there. Security is constantly pa

Round 1 Bowling and Arcade is the largest and nicest Arcade between Portland and Vancouver. Very plush toy centered. Lots and lots of them, too many, actually, but they do have tons of Arcade games, bowling, food with a great family atmosphere. Get some food, a beer, and let the kids run. We ordered the pizza, but it was raw in the middle and burned on the tip, but they were very apologetic. Nice place for a mall experience.

Round 1 is a fun place to play some arcade games! It's located inside Vancouver Mall but you can't get through from the mall; you have to go and use the actual main entrance. During the time of my visit the bar was closed which was a bummer. There's a lot of imported Japanese arcade games here! Probably the most I've seen so far! They have classics such as Dance Dance Revolution as well. There are tons of games here basically! They also have a gift shop where you can use your tickets to trade for items. Oth

The first thing I'm going to say is unless you want Japanese rhythm games which they have a couple it's a Meh.. half of the games were broken and some just were broken with no sign like this packman game where one of the paddles just didn't work or the drop a Pearl game if you hit the big pearl then nothing would happen. So goodbye to that money I guess.I found the security in the front was a bit much but very understandable but they also go around the arcade checking IDs when it gets late which is really

Pretty nice arcade with a lot of dance off machines and claw games 45 minute wait for bowling on Saturday afternoon, pretty busy and popular. My son and his friends had fun. One food bar, food looked ok, beer bar is closed which is a bummer , wondering if there is not enough staff or demand as the crowd is mainly teenagers.

This place was really fun. The food was just okay. But we spent several hours here playing games and hanging out. It wasn't to busy, but it was loud with just game noise. There was a lot of middle school age children running around unsupervised, who acted like they were better then everyone else, including the staff and manager. The prizes were so expensive, you would have to pay 2 or 3 times the actual price in tickets to win things. But it was still a fun experience.

If you keep in mind that it is a bowling alley for a small town like I did, you might be surprised. As far as for a small town it was very nice. There weren't many lanes and the day we went we had to reserve the lanes. We did have to wait for the previous players to finish so we got started about a half hour late. But that's not on the bowling alley because they were joking around instead of bowling.

Was having a great time until security came up and escorted us to the front of the bar and told us we had been over served and took our pitcher from us after spending $600 on tokens to play games. We felt extremely embarrassed!! They don't watch out for your children but make sure they get you tipsy and to spend money then make a mockery out of you.

Round 1 is a go-to spot for family fun with its extensive array of games catering to all ages. Whether you're into arcade classics or the latest virtual adventures, there's something for everyone here. The food and beverage options provide a convenient pit stop between rounds of gaming, although they're not exceptional. One drawback worth mentioning is the elusive staff, who can be hard to track down even during quieter times. This can be frustrating when assistance is needed or when trying to address issu

We were very disappointed when we found that there was no food or drinks. Not even a vending machine for water. Even though there were 3 staff behind the stand to pay for bowling, 1 behind another desk, 1 in the prize shop, 1 walking around and 1 in a claw machine, they were short staffed so couldn't staff the kitchen. Bathrooms were filthy, soap dispensers empty and stalls without toilet paper. Lighting was off in bowling alley. The walls were dirty. The floors hadn't been vacuumed or mopped. We came to sc

Round One has almost every rhythm game you can think of, making it a super fun spot to hang out.

It was the first time we have been there. My son and I had a blast. It was a little expensive for the games for amount of payout.

First and last time here. Decided to check this place out instead of heading to Clackamas. 1. The bar was closed not serving anything. 2. No food being served, I was told the speaker system was broken and they couldn't call out numbers so no food. They've told us we could go get food and bring it back. 3. Half the games the kids wanted to play were broken, seemed like the only ones not broken were all the claw and coin games ... kids don't want to play those. Prices were reasonable we paid 44 for a card and

FYI: I am only reviewing the arcade section. There is a food area, bowling and billiards too, but I only used the arcade. In the upper level you have to walk through the arcade to the back right corner to find the counter. You purchase a card ($2) and put money on the card in varying increments to get the credit you use for each game. Roughly $22 = 115 points. Average game costs 10 points a turn. Lots of the games are those claw games for trying to grab a prize. I took two 13yr olds and they used $40

Me and my friend went here to play fighting games on the arcade cabinets like we have regularly for the past 3 years. We spent $18 per person on new cards. They replaced ALL the fighting games with claw machines. When we asked for our money back, they DENIED US REFUNDS. Yes we did swipe our cards on some of the machines to get us in the mood for the fighting games but most of our tokens werent hsed. This is unbelievable and unacceptable. WHAT A SCAM!! we do not have a lot of money and they ROBBED US!! It h

It's a ok location. Prices are outrageously high, 1 pizza cost about $35 Bilards costed me $16 for an hr Games are also way too high. You spend about $100 to have fun for like an hour and 15 mins pretty much.

My son and I had a lot of playing the arcade games. The prizes were typical. They have lots and lots of claw machines and a decent amount of coin pushers. Our favorite thing was the $1 icecream cones.

Love this place, the machines are very fun love getting the prices but the workers are very hard to find, I spent more time looking for one just to get the plush I won, and Many of the machines needs to be reset on the plush position or be restock. I had to be done because none of them is set up properly. But I would still come back, and hopefully, it will not be the same experience.

Great place for arcade, bowling, and even snacky food. It's a little cramped in the arcade with some of the games being out of order or poorly maintained, but overall, good! Hence the 4-star review. Totally worth going here for a date night, family outing, etc. There is an elevator for accessibility if you're needing that.

Love going here, but it can be expensive if you wanna play alot of games. Great selection of claw and skill crane games with excellent prizes to be won and a fantastic ticket redemption center, but it can take awhile to redeem for the really good stuff.

Great games, prizes and not an unreasonable price. Plus you can't be at 99 cent ice cream. Childhood favorite place and just like the round 1 I'm used to in Osaka!

It's okay, you can walk around with a beer but you can't leave the small bar area with mixed drinks. They don't tell you until after you've purchased the drinks and try to leave that area. No disclosure... Most of the claw machines in the arcade area will rob you, so use caution with that game card. The food was ok, but there was nothing to brag about. The kids had fun, so I guess that's what matters.

Lots of video games to choose from plus food and bowling. You and the family could easily spend a lot of time here and make some great memories.

I already wrote a review, but I think it's worthy of writing another. It was very disheartening. Seeing two security guards standing around talking to each other instead of watching out for the kids. Like I said in my last review for Vancouver mall there were two children approximately 12 years old, a male and a female and the male was yelling at the little girl. She was sobbing crying. I went and got the security guard. He still seemed to be oblivious and stood there not even engaging to see what was going

Good lanes, however after five resets for a problem with their pins getting stuck-apparently It was too much to ask they give us the extra 15 minutes they spent messing with it. (It was NOT crowded) and for some reason, u can only have mixed drinks at the bar, but wine and beer r ok up at the lane. Duuuuuumb. All the staff were friendly, EXCEPT the cranky bowling Sargent. Based on him, we would not recommend friends or family to bowl here.

It's gone way down hill. Food options are terrible, bland freezer to fryer junk food. Customer service is non-existent. Employees make you feel like you are a drag on the day because they would rather be on their phone than working, at their job... Bowling lanes were filthy. The booth tables for eatting were covered it food scrap, ice cream on every single one, and nobody bothered to clean anything.

I've been to better multi-entertainment arenas; however, I have also been to worse. This Round1 seems to be a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to offering family activities, but also happens to be a master of none. Customer service isn't the greatest around here, but after purchasing what you need to get, you don't necessarily have to deal with them. Their arcade area does have quite a few cool Japanese rhythm games that not all arcades offer, though. In addition, I really do like their little claw machines

It's a fun place. A few bowling lanes, a mini food court and lots of arcade and ticket games. I like to think of this place as Dave and Busters lite with a little bowling. Vancouver mall needed something like this so it was refreshing when this opened as opposed to another gym or church (which I think are weird choices in a mall). Probably my biggest complaint is the amount of games broken. There are a few that have been broken since opening. It also feels like once a game is broken I rarely ever see it wor

Place is fun. Pro tip, if you try a claw machine a few times and get nothing, ask an employee yo unlock it and shuffel the prizes around. 99 cent ice cream is totally worth it.

Looooove it!!! But expect to spend money if you want to stay long and enjoy games!!

as long as you don't play claw machines, every game to win plushies or figures is skill, I walk in with $110 for 800 credits and get like $200+ worth of stuff winning, love this place

Horrible. You can't allow YOUR OWN kids in unless you're over the age of 25 not even the own parents! Why is that even a rule ?? . Refusing to let me and my partner in because we had a 9 month old baby who would just sit in his stroller. The rules are the most dumbest thing I've heard of in my life .

In an Arcade desert that is America, this is practically the closest it can get to Arcades in Japan. Of course, majority of the games are ticket games, but the small amount of the Japanese rhythm games will make up for those craving to play games such as the BEMANI series and Pump it Up.

Came here to do some karaoke for a buddy's birthday. Sounds system was awful in their first room, but luckily they had another room where it was much better, and the song selection was pretty good as well. Pricing was pretty good for the food, but very stupid that they don't allow their very expensive alcohol in the rooms so we had to go to the bar and have our birthday beer and shots and had to drink them there which took up our time for the room. Unfortunately the service was pretty awful particularly wit

very few entertaining games, point/credit system is weird. (40 for $10.. but games have costs like 7.6 or 12.4) your money and time would be better spent at a local arcade

Love all of the different activities under one roof. The arcade is my favorite and I really enjoy the food as well. Great place for the family or for a night out as they have a bar area as well.

Nothing to be excited about. They are pretty spendy but you should already know that with it being located in the Vancouver mall. Some of the games were out of order and there were a few games where I'd slide the card and it would take the credit off but the game itself wouldn't work or function correctly. I give it a 2? out of 5 stars.

This arcade is pretty dang cool. I would love to explore the game choices more in the future. What I really see as the best draw for this location is its selection of rhythm games from Japan. You just don't see this often enough in the our area.

The place is clean and the pool and bowling lanes are in good shape. The timed game cards are a rip off though for $10 plus $2 activation fee. There are not enough games to play for the minimum duration of an hour. Our kids stopped playing after 45 minutes.

Had an absolute blast here! Will for sure be coming back. Prices are a little high and not a very good selection of balls but the people were amazing the music was great and the parking was front row.

Guitar hero, Pump, DDR(dance dance revolution), basketball games, all kinds of Arcades and games are there. My teenagers love to be there. My family had a good time.

Over all nice place but can get expensive. We waited for 10 min!!! For 2 cookies and a sprite!! I felt that was ridiculous considering there was 5 people in the kitchen area. Really disappointed unfortunately

This place is not your local chuckie cheese for the Littles. It's definitely for dates, group outings, and teens. The games are roughly $1.75 each if you break it down. Prizes are cool though - huge stuffed animals, teen oriented anime swag, they have South Park stuffies too (unfortunately my kids won that.). In about 20 minutes my kids won 3 prizes and spent $50 in games - sharing the same card. My step son is older and went through about $40 in 15 minutes. Lots of arcade games, air hockey, grab machines.

Very enjoyable modern arcade. If you like Japanese style crane and medal games, this place is going to be perfect. Highly recommended.

Expensive but fun The food is trash It's not real ice cream and they never have cones they scoop it in a paper bowl lol Rippppp offffff

Great arcade with a variety of games and bowling , frequently come here but the food is horrible I got a cheeseburger and immediately regretted save your money and go to McDonald's or Chick Fil-A.

Hard to review this place. Great games for the whole family to play. Arcade room is clean. Bathrooms on the other hand are dirty. For example in the mens, one toilet stall didn't have a lock or a way to lock it. The other two are disgusting, Smells like orine and floor not clean. I think management should take more care of areas like that. Specially when is a family place and there are lots of little kids using to bathrooms.

Always fun to come here. The food is expensive, but really solid for arcade food! The games are also always amazing, I come here all the time! NOTE: Be warned that most of the (amazing) rhythm games are Japan imports and thusly only show Japanese text. Familiarize yourself with their UIs and music selections online before playing them, or you may end up completely lost and wasting credits. Their crane games are also Japanese imports and do NOT work like your typical crane at a grocery store. Do your resear

So fun! We bowled, the arcade looked so fun. The staff was very nice!

There's a decently large arcade section though surprisingly not as wide of a variety as I would have hoped. Unsurprisingly, the credits to play were not cheap but we got the $25 package and had enough to play for about an hour. We tried to play pool after but they wanted to charge over $16 per hour! We decided we could get some drinks and some pool in for that much at local bars and left.

The spot is situated in the mall. It's a trendy bowling alley with cool lights and a friendly atmosphere, perfect for family outings. It's an awesome place for birthday parties. They serve delicious pizza, which is not thin crust, and I actually prefer it that way. Plus, there are video games available too. Overall, it's a fantastic experience.

This place was great. Using the 1 hours time card was the best. Took my son and nephew and they got to play a bunch of games together the only complaint is that the games were limited so not sure if there is a ton of repeatability here. Once a month might be the ticket though

OMG!!!! What a vacation saver ... When the kids are tired of site seeing, then send them over to Round 1 and let the rest just happen. Great prices and great deals!!!

Both times I've come here the security stands near us and staring. A few times they come up to us with some dumb complaints such as we ?can't have 5 glasses at our table with only 4 people? even though they gave it to us, also pointing out two glasses behind us from the previous players. The food workers snapped at us saying they won't even make our food when we simply asked how much longer the food would take after waiting 30 min. The security came up and told us to leave and when we showed them we had 20

This place was cool but so expensive. Lots of different games to choose from.

Such a good place to go play games and have some fun, kinda spendy but has more than any other arcade around.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not too crowded. Staff was helpful enough. Clean environment, they weren't mask Nazis.

Soicy fun a lot of stuff to do there are bowling arcade games eating real huge nice atmosphere don't have to weigh all the machines were 11

Round one has done it again! The wait time for food is ridiculous. Two ice creams were about an hr wait with only 10 numbers in front of us.

Had a great time with my son for some quality mom and son time. Wish they had less basketball and more variety in games, but we still had a blast!

Fun little place. A little hectic. For some reason the employees just stand and watch you. Even when you didn't have food to spill. It's really quite irritating

Fun place and friendly staff. We only came here for the claw machines and arcade games, so everything seemed to work just fine. Won lots of prizes from the claw machine.

Constantly the managers are "on break" isn't it the policy a manager must always be available? Telling people they have to wait 30 minutes for 5 free credits or that they need a manager to fix an issue, Maybe oh idk, not have all the managers be on break at the same time and make it so normal employees can swipe for 5 free credits

A great arcade chain that has tons of Japanese games not often seen in other arcades. If you come here more than once you should get a membership card for the benefits. Even if you're not a video game fan there are lots of other style of games. Ski ball, basketball, baseball pitching, air hockey, and claw games to name a few.

Staff are amazing, the food is great. Nice place to get a cocktail and bowl. Fun prizes to win in the claw machines as well.

We had a lot of fun! There are a ton of claw games. The snack bar options are awesome!!

Way too expensive for all Chinese made everything even the prizes you walk into round one and you feel like you're in China. Dave& Buster's is still by far the best. I miss the real Mall arcades they had back in the day.

I have a good time when I go here. My boyfriend's face always lights up in excitement. I'd advise eating something before going unless you're a kid there's not piont of getting food.

We had our granddaughters birthday party there. It was nice and we had a separate room with a karaoke set up n couch. We brought extra food. The pizza was good and delivered on time. And several times service people came in and checked to see if we needed anything. The game cards could have been more accommodating for the price we paid. They only worked on blue and green games which there were very few of, and the reasoning for the limits wasn't made clear. But it was OK, and the girls had fun.

Expensive, poorly staffed, dirty. Go to any other bowling alley or arcade, this is the worst of both worlds.

"Disappointing" would be a compliment. No food was being served because the staff was too lazy. A bunch of the games were broken. Most of the games are outdated and boring. There's a strange smell of mold or cat pee. I can't explain what it is exactly, but it's there. And it doesn't go away. All of this would be tolerable if the employees were friendly and offered outstanding service. But unfortunately you have a better chance of winning the loterry by not buying a ticket. Went there with some buddies

Tried to enter with family, and they had a guy with a metal detector at the door. There was no ordinance number, and no sign in the window. Just a thing on the table that says no weapons. I have a valid Washington conceal carry permit. Never in my 5 years of having it, have I had a business turn me away. I asked the security guard, do you have anyway to protect yourself or anyone inside if there is an incident? He said no. Then his manager came down and said the same thing. I told them I'd put my firearm in

Machines broken left and right. I played the Angry Bird machine it stops responding and errors. I go to the Rick and Morty machine the ball doesn't rotate on the wheel after getting all of the triggers. I play Avengers token game it just crashes. Been sitting at the machine for 15 mins waiting for staff after letting them know.

Family had fun bowling (Friday 5pm) and the food was very good.

Every machine was broke or took my coins!!!! Like 6 in a row. The qorker there was amazing helping me. I will go back because of the service

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?
