Customer Reviews

I visited Round One two days in a row while in town with my God daughter. We purchased the card and points on the first day, and everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly, and we had a great time playing the games. However, our second visit was disappointing. We brought my sister along to show her all the fun games we played the day before, but many of them were either broken or not working properly. The air hockey tables, for example, didn't even have pucks available. We went to the front desk for

Round 1 is a great place to come hang and play some fun games. There are bowling and different arcade games! One of the staff named Bryan helped effectively when we had an issue, great customer service! Didn't try the food but I would come back!

A lot of the reviews I've seen people write are genuine jokes. I've been to a lot of arcades since I was a kid and I am part of the rhythm game community. Every time I come here, I have had positive experience. I have met a fantastic group of friends and a community because of this location. The mechanics are extremely nice and while I can't speak about management because o don't know them personally nor have I had to summon them, I do know that when machine are broken, there is a dedicated staff who takes

Had an amazing time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of arcades and claw machines. I really liked the moonlight mini game every hour while bowling.

It's a pretty decent arcade. While it's true that there are occasionally machines that aren't properly maintained, its location and accessibility are quite good. The app currently in use will expire as of December 4th, so you need to use up all your visit stamps and coupons before then.?

Great arcade with a huge variety of machines, and lots of claws!! Friendly and very helpful staff. One of the few arcades that currently has the Castlevania Marble of Souls, which is a truly excellent game. Rating 4 stars because of an excellent arcade, but haven't tried the bowling or food yet, so that'll be next time, and maybe they'll get that 5th star.

Arcades used to be good places to relax, take your mind off things and most times all games would be working. I know it's not all about ddr or any other dance machine and sure I understand that other games need worked on. But when 2 techs tell you no I will not and can not help you because I am not a local player here it blows my mind. In what world does a technician need permission from a manager to work on a machine? They say they have so many other games to work on but there are probably 3 people in this

I had an alright time here. Even though they have pool and bowling, I still feel like Dave and Buster?s is better. Maybe because it was a Sunday afternoon/evening, but they didn't have a lot available. A lot of games were Out of Service, the 90 minute play option doesn't apply to every game (only shooting and racing games), and they were out of pizza and nacho toppings when we were there. It was just a meh experience. Maybe I should have bowled and targeted more games I wanted to play but I don't know if I

Long post: party was for Saturday Wednesday I called and spoke to a very polite young man about reserving some space for my best friends party. He was very informative, thorough and pleasant! After everything was said and done he said I would have to put down a deposit BUT they couldn't take it over the phone. I asked if I could make it online he said yes. Cool I proceed to do everything online and it would not allow me to continue. I told a friend to go up to the place and make the deposit for me in perso

Do NOT get the time cards, it is an absolute SCAM. At every other arcade I've ever been to time cards can be used either on all non-ticket and prize games, OR they can be used on any game, but wont award tickets. Round 1s time card works on like 5 games in total. Doesnt work on most rhythm games, doesnt work on most shooting games, none of the VR games, theres even an AIR HOCKEY table that time cards do not work on. And the few games that they do work on don't work. All the claw machines and coin pushers wo

If you only care about taking a group of kids here, you'll have fun sure. But for those who come here for some of round 1's unique offerings, consider running. This place has gone to complete crap. Smells of weed the last few weeks. The kitchen doesn't work. Half of the Japanese cabinets don't work or aren't online anymore. Some dance pads are broken. The rewards section has downsized completely. Security are at the door and are checking everyone's id's and bags, including older patrons which makes no sens

My son was invited to a birthday party, and while the bowling was decent, I wasn't impressed with how the arcade games are set up. You can only play some games once, like those spin machines ? why is that? It really felt like the place is all about making money. There were way too many prize-based games, and honestly, it started to feel more like a gambling spot than a fun arcade. On top of that, several machines weren't even working, and you can't play most games without running into issues. Plus, $17 for

I've been to other Round1 locations and this one was pretty sad. When I went almost half the games were broken and my friend and I were on a wait list for bowling. They said it'd be about 40 minutes and they'd call us. We played some games and in the meantime and hung around and they never called us. Also only 2 of the lanes were being used and there weren't any out of service signs or anything on the others so idk what the deal with that was ????? According to some of the staff the repair person was coming

Batman is the man!! Very helpful and informative. Knows his stuff. Helped getting prizes and fixing machines when having issues. My kids had a great time and he helped make it great!! He is the factor in this review being 5 stars. Give that man a raise or a promotion.

Located inside Towson mall. Plenty of games for the kiddos, but some machines didn't work and/or took credits and still didn't work. We were able to get one refund but decided against going back to the desk every time it happened. Options to play pool and bowl too.

There are a lot of games here and my friends made the trip fun but the place has many hidden fees. We asked for the $35 plan for 170 points and then we ended up paying $46 because of an activation fee as well as a service fee+ tax. They also denied us a water cup at the bar after paying $46 to play games. Not my favorite spot.

This place could be nice, except for the fact that half of the food items were missing off the menu when we went. I'd say roughly 25% of the machines were not functioning (but would still charge you game credits if you slid the card through unknowingly) I bought some generic $6 ?Dippin Dots? from a vending machine only to find out I was charged $10.95 twice on my credit card for them. We stayed in the arcade, and did not bowl. The staff was so unhelpful, most of them are very young and sit behind the bowli

I've got to admit. This location seems to be trying to improve things from the first time I visited a long time ago. Back then, a lot of the games seemed to be broken a lot of the time, or it would seem to be just fine until you would go to give it a credit to play the game and it would just take your credits and not let you start the game. For example, they used to have a Tetris game that would take your credits, but then when you press start it wouldn't start. Nowadays, that doesn't seem to happen anywher

I asked the bartender for a drink at 8:30 on a Saturday. She tells me the bar was closed. We had already paid for bowling. Out of curiosity, I then called the front desk and asked what time the bar closed. She says ?12?. Of course I relied and said that's funny because the bartender just told me it's now. What time does your bar actually close? Definitely not 8:30 on a Saturday. Get your shit together.

Ratchet and run down. Weird smells. Employees couldn't care less if the machines ripped you off. Wayyy too expensive for the amount of times you have to go get your credits back. The employees also almost shorted me bc they couldn't do 4x a decimal number in their head. ?? expect general apathy from this place. $16 for an hour of pool on weekends. The bar area was actually nice and had good public spaces for a pop up birthday party. We were a group of ~10 people and we were able to do cake at the table.

Dont come here anymore. If you want to actually win something at claw machines, dont waste your money. If anything goes wrong and you have a complaint, youll barely be compensated for it. The time cards are a scam, they cover like 4 games out of all the arcade games there and one wasnt even working for us. Just go somewhere else.

Very good place. Nice atmosphere on a Sunday! I ordered chicken wings, and half were fried correct and most came back redon the inside. Everything else was excellent.

I love this place. So many cool rhythm games and crane games you can actually win! I have so many plushies I've won from Round 1...

Pros: Had one employee that was extremely helpful with getting prizes redeemed. Nice variety of games & most are well maintained. Cons: - The gate situation blocking entrances past a certain time of night was insanely frustrating. My partner and I are ADA and the walkaround of parking in the garage, being locked out of exiting on the 1st floor, having to exit on the 2nd floor, then having to walk all the way *around* the mall, exit the mall, and re-enter via the only unblocked entrance is the most inacces

Food & line for bowling and pool takes a long time for staff to attend to you. Other than that, a great spot. Vending machine charged me $5 && charged an extra 2.60 2 days

What am I even winning. No Keychains for the $100 I spent either.... This place is EMPTY. Reached out to company via email and got no reply either Update: This location is under new management and the manager was kind enough to apologize and send us our missing keychains. We have been back a few times now and the location has gotten much better.

Came here with a group of friends looking for something different to do, Brian the manager, and Batman were amazing!!!! From buying our game cards, grabbing a drink at the bar & even dealing with a bowling lane that didn't work, he was awesome! 10/10. Will be back ASAP

Decent bowling experience ??, the arcade is ok, you could get a better experience somewhere else. The prizes in the victory zone are cheap. I can confirm that the floors are kinda gross.

Horrible place. Had my son's birthday party there and literally had a mouse run over my foot while eating. Spoke to the manager who was very inconsiderate and said there was nothing he could do that he follows up with ecolab. Did not seem to care at all that he was serving people food with mice running around.

Overall the facility was clean- most of the games were working. While they had good menu options - they did not have any wings or fries and we were not able to order any of their party packs due to this. The staff seemed to be annoyed to be working. Disappointed that the atmosphere wasn't as fun as you would have expected due to this.

This place is horrific. I stood in line to order food for 10 minutes and the manager was finishing taking an order. After he finished he took his cash drawer out and walked away ignoring I was standing there. The girl behind the counter continued to ignore me until I asked if they were taking food orders. She told me yes and I asked for wings. "We don't got wings!" OK I will take the supreme nachos. " We don't have chicken!" At this point I asked what they did have and she just looked at me. Less than 10 mi

From a video game and claw machine perspective, this place has other place beat in the area including Dave and buster's, Main Event, Chuck e cheese's, and the Great American steakhouse. Plus they're open pretty late till 2:00 a.m. and they do serve alcohol. I would give it a 10 Stars.

Round 1 is a regular stop for me, a great place to relax and enjoy some games, win a few prizes, and catch some food. They've put in great cleaning and social distancing protocols since reopening, and I feel safe coming in. Also if you haven't been in a while, their game selection has majorly increased recently, bringing a lot more to the table!

I've gone to lots of Round Ones all over the country. They're always a fun experience that want you to win prizes. This one felt like a scam. First off lots of machines empty or out of order. Secondly the machines that are working are set up in a way where winning anything is almost impossible they put a lock on the crane machines to keep them from moving past a certain point and then put the prize just out of reach. Staff were rude and unhelpful when prizes were run. Save your money and go to another loca

Nothing like the ones in japan. A lot of the machines were out of service, claw machines were very rigged and weak. Major major issue with the stair wells /elevators smelling like urine.like hit you in the face with urine smell probably from drunk people the night before just peeing where ever. Held my breath hoping it was just the stair wells, but upon going inside the carpets close to the bar and pool tables smelled of urine too. The ones I've been to in japan are very clean and well maintained. This plac

Just left this establishment today! The customer service was horrible! I waited in line at the food/bar area to place an order for 10mins. The cashier then decides to take a lunch break, still without me being acknowledged. The other girl working was overworked and still didn't acknowledge me for another 5 minutes! I get it , that the place was short staffed and it really showed! They didn't have ice for sodas so my daughters and their friends had to drink warm soda! This place was not even crowded and now

The place was disgusting! The floors have big stains and the floor wasn't clean. It's no point of spending money here because the place is really high. I ordered a pizza combo that was $10:38. $5 for ONE slice of pizza and then an additional $5.50 for the drink and fries plus tax. There were mice running all over the place and management/ staff seemed so unbothered about it. One lady had dealt with my friend money and never changed her gloves and continued to make food. The staff don't really give a flying

Pretty fun, good prizes, a lot of challenging claw machines, and decent food. I will say their prices for bowling is a bit much for my taste. But decent for a party of more than two possibly.

Tons of games, bowling anx billards are cool. I'm not sure if this place is up to speed to handle the amount of customers they will be getting as alot of my peers have had some good and bad things to take away from this place already. Hopefully, the issues they have will get sorted out as this place has alot of potential and is badly needed in the area!

EDIT : 5.9.2025 and YOU ARE IN THE TOP COMPANY LOWEST EARNINGS for you quarterly sales. That is so weird... Horrible experience from the parking lot to the snack center. First off, 30 year arcade operator MYSELF(namco, Dave and busters, gameworks). R1 WAS cool years ago when they popped up, but this one is horribly managed. This isn't some KAREN review, and I'm never that guy, until I HAVE to be. When I go into places, my arcade managerial side kicks in, and it was off the radar here. I've been flown to di

To me round one is the best arcade franchise. I do enjoy Japanese culture, there were a few times I went and the crowd was not it but that was during the summer.

This is the worst place ever, took my children to have a good time and they were all out of the most important food for children which was the pizza, wings, burgers leaving you with only the options of tenders and fries, definitely should have chosen a different place, then I tried to order a strawberry margarita which was served to me in a plastic cup ,never again

Great Bowling alley, Karaoke kinda bit confusing at first but as soon as we understand how to use it, it gets easier could use more songs though, great food selection, great staff, great ambiance. Would recommend going as a party here. Had fun using the bowling alley but could use some powder for use. Overall great place.

I've been to Round1 at least ten times. It's an excellent spot for families or friends wanting to celebrate any occasion or just have an arcade to hang out and enjoy. It appeals to casual or more intense gamers with generic machines similar to those at Dave and Busters but also arcade cabinets, rhythm games, as well as a bowling alley, karaoke rooms, and pool tables. Anybody can come to Round1 and find something for them. They have a small restraunt and bar and the food is pretty good! I was impresed the fi

Usually visit here often. I had enough points to get the Roomba vacuum as it says 12,800 tickets.I had over 13,000 tickets on my card. After I waited 10-15 mins for them to redeem it. A manger came from the back saying they labeled it wrong and weren't going to honor the ticket value listed.Disappointed.

It's so much fun, but its not safe when it comes to hygiene. The hand sanitizer machine are just for decoration. My son wanted to ride and he had his hand soiled with mucus like liquid like someone sneezed on it. We couldn't get hand sanitizer to use. But the restrooms were so neat so we washed our hands instead

Updating my previous review because that was pre-COVID. Despite the social distancing and other measures in place to keep everyone safe, this Round 1 has improved so much. Machines have been put in and rearranged for a better play area. Notably for the rhythm games, they now have a Pump It Up, DDR A20 Plus, (2) Wacca machines, 3 IIDX cabinets (2 lightning cabinets), 1 Dance Rush, 2 SDVX machines, a Gitadora setup, and much more. No more amusement license issues, claw machines get stocked regularly, and from

The four stars is my personal hope that the workers keep doing their best on dealing with customers and maintaining the games. It doesn't feel that expensive but you do get what you pay for. I will probably edit in the future. I tried to play the arcade fighting game cabinets with a friend but every single one of them is in Japanese. One of the technician staff made it clear with honesty, that no one knew much about the systems, but she suggested Google translate. It made the problems go away after some tri

Pre-paid date nights! The pricing for credits really does make more sense to buy all of the credits and then use them as you go over multiple visits. Very fun place to go and have fun inside. Great variety of games to play. There were a number of games that were out of order that we wanted to play but overall very fun!

Clean, spacious, plenty of games for the entire family, not crowded on this day. Very good tasting pizza and wings. My niece's 7th Birthday. Our party included ages 4yrs. to ages 55, and we all had fun. They do have alcohol beverages for those who indulge. Easy access to Towson Town Mall. Wheelchair accessible.

Went second weekend after opening and stayed for a few hours playing through most of the games there. Overall it is was an okay experience but there is a lot of room for improvement as several aspects are severely lacking compared to other Round 1's Pros: - The crane style prize games where great as the claw strength is set high enough that you can actually win them with some effort. We won a stuffed llama and saw several people walking around with prizes of their own which is a good thing. - Rhythm games

The arcade is fine - I'm not a fan of the kinds of claw games that only allow you to move forward and sideways once without allowing you to make adjustments, but I did like bowling here.

Both entrances and exits were closed at Round1, including the area blocked off at the escalator and main mall entrance. I was just trying to get from the mall bathroom to the mall. An employee saw me looking for an opening in the gate. He explained that since Round1 cannot control their security with alcohol at their entrances, the mall blocked multiple sections of the entrances and exits. The employee told me to blame the public for taking alcohol from their bar into the mall. I don't see Cheesecake Facto

This Round1 isn't as good as the one in Woodbridge, but I'm glad one exists in Balitmore. Not sure why management blocks the mall entrance, but it seems like they're leaving money on the table. This one seems to have more broken machines, but I guess you get what you get around here.

Pretty complete Arcade & fun place for kids and adults. Pool, bowling, arcade games, bar, restaurant, room rental.

UPDATED: The experience quality has declined at this location. I love the game variety, especially the authentic Japanese games and Sanrio prizes, and the staff were helpful and polite, but cleanliness and maintenance are major issues. Games are not wiped down. MANY games were not working. There are so many games "out of service" or not functioning without a sign. The bathrooms were gross. Heavy smoking outside at the main entrance doors where security sits.

My son was running around and started choking and I asked them for a water cup and they said no, not even for a choking hazard

I dont like to leave bad reviews, but I want my money and my time back. I mean how can you be an "arcade". This is THE worst There were plenty more, but it only allows 15

Very large collection of games, many of which cannot be found at Main Event or Dave and Busters. Unique set of crane machines and Japanese games.

The place is fun and well kept for the most part but my only issue with this place is the staff. While a few are certainly well trained and well behaved. Many in the kitchen staff and other areas show plenty of unprofessional behavior as well being rude and working as if they do not want to work there. Which i can understand given the crisis we are all in but sometimes i feel as if it can be a little overdramatic and could be avoided.

Harder to find a game that works here than doesn't, dirty, expensive, security that doesn't do anything and store is blocked off on all sides making it very hard to even get in

I am so happy that there is now a great place with Japanese import arcade games, ufo machines, and karaoke relatively near to us. We spent the whole day here and it's incredibly fun, clean, helpful staff. Hope to come back soon!

Like some games was not working and we didn't get to play a lot and that we had a blast. We had some candy too, so it was not that bad.????

Customer service is awful. Stood in line unserviced for 20 minutes for fries and drink, worker walked past me 10x without acknowledging my presence. Accused us of having alcohol and threatened to ?throw? us out when asking for another cup like we were a bunch of teenagers. Paid $55 for 60 minutes of bowling and was switched to different lanes 3 times because of the equipment shutting down. Got a refund and left 20 minutes into our 60 minute game, save your time.

Very fun place A little pricey However it was worth the money

This place is a dump, over priced, most of the games and machines are not maintained properly, the claw machines are obviously rigged, the food is terrible, staff are rude, you get little to no tickets to redeem prizes, and the prizes are garbage. The bar is a joke, I went in on a Saturday and tried to get them to put the orioles game on?the bartender said he can't change the channel on the weekends??because it takes down the entire system?, he said he was to busy, meanwhile the bar was practically empty. I

As an avid crane enjoyer, I had loaded up $55 to my card only to win no prizes whatsoever. Compared to many of the Round1s I have been to, the machines here seem to be rigged. Usually I would be able to win a few big plushies and lots of small keychain at other locations but this location?s machine seems really off. If you go here for the sole purpose of crane machines, I would not recommend. If you are here to have fun with only the game machines, then this place is for you. I have yet to try the food at t

I came here with a group to go bowling. At first the bowling alley seemed very put together but then the more time I spent there the more I was not as impressed. When I first walked in there were so many cool claw machines and arcade games, then the bowling and food. But when I noticed the seats duct taped over holes and scratches I was put off. The food was also fairly underwhelming. Overall it was an ok experience but not somewhere I would go out of the way for.

I'm an adult. Kids are annoying...yet I had good time bowling & ski balling. It's cool

Pleasant staff, good bowling, too much noise even on a quiet Thursday am

While it pales in comparison to a Round1 in Japan (or really any arcade in japan), its got everything you'd like. I like to play rhythm games like Wacca, Project Diva, MaiMai, Groove Coaster, etc. But even if you don't like those sorts of games the arcade has plenty of variety for every type of player. Bring your kids for a family night out, or go with your mates on a friday night and you'll have a good time. In terms of specific complaints, the aformentioned rhythm games are a lot less "complete" when the

They have decent selection of games. Along with bowling, pool, and a karaoke room. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. But when it cam to the food area it below average. Wasn't clean the bathrooms are even worse. Did not want to use. The family bathroom smelled like some just got finished smoking weed in it and looking at staff you can who she was. I give this 3 out of 5 stars.

I give this place 3 stars, because of the women's restroom. There was no tissue in any of the stalls but 1 and when I brought it to the young ladies that were working up front they simi rudely told me to get some napkins from the condiment station. And as a manager for a fast food company myself. I knew that that was a health code violation

The staff is rude down to the manager. They supposedly have food and drinks. We were told they were understaffed so they were not serving food or drinks. We seen them pick who to serve food and drinks too. They told us to go to the vending machine. The vending machine only had ice tea or coke 0. You gotta see it to believe it. We ordered door dash and solved that problem. Then they asked us to get up from the bowling lane we paid for causing confusion only to find out they made a mistake and didn't know the

My daughter took my grandson for his 14th birthday party to this locations to have fun with his friends and family. We got their and picked out seats and we went to pay for ticket but they did not take cash only credit card my daughter was shocked. Next, we went to pay for food and drinks and they told us that they had a party for over 200 people and they were not taking any other from other guess this was really a bad decision that we came to this place. How you going to have a party but still bring guess

The service was horrible this was my first time ever feeling like I have been racially profiled and this is one place I'll never come to again as long as I visit America!!!!! My family and I were asked to leave because someone else from a different lane ball came into our side and the manager guy came over and said he was going to make us leave if another ball came over.while he was talking we were trying to explain that one of the balls did not belong to us and he said he didn't care and that he had the fi

I was charged the Friday prices instead of the Wednesday prices on a Wednesday! I was told that it's because it is ?about to be a holiday.? Very poor customer service & the facilities were so dirty!! NEVER AGAIN WOULD I WASTE MY FAMILY?S TIME OR MONEY!!

Nice place but expensive in my opinion. Supposedly 4 credits equal $1 and most games are 9-10 credits. The claw machines are 14-16 credits ??. Bowling looks decent for a group but individually, you're better off going to an actual alley. Staff was mostly friendly!

This place charged $10,59 for a pitcher of water. Tap water out of a plastic pitcher.

An OD version of Dave and Busters. Better selection of games and Tokyo Claw Machines

Only arcade with Japanese arcade games. Not much green selections for the unlimited play but still good selections of shooter, rhythm, and fighter. Missing Taiko no Tatsujin. The unlimited option is not the best. It takes like few minutes per swipe which isn't enough for many of the green games. The regular play is much better which doesn't limit you. They sell the banapass and e-musment passes to save progress which is great. I'd go back just because it's the only arcade with Japanese rhythm games

The games were cool even thought they're were some out of order. I find it very weird that they don't serve food at all because ?the kitchen is closed..? that is unacceptable. Why is the kitchen closed knowing yall have costumers coming here to play and chill. But y?all can serve drinks. The vending machines weren't even working properly. I seen TWO MICES running around. We told the employee and he said ?they thought they were gone.? So obviously this isn't a one time thing. The gaming machines were dirty a

It was awesome! I had so much fun in this cool place!

My party of 18 went super smooth and just as described in my reservation for the all inclusive option. Everyone loved the bowling, billiards and arcade. The food was also great. Employees were attentive and helpful.

Saw a mouse run across the floor, he/she/they was/were hella cute ??

The arcade has gotten a lot better since the last time we went. The machines are now pretty well stocked, and the games are priced fairly. Pull rates on some of the games that require you to obtain cards are a little low, but not incredibly impossible. The prizes you can cash in points for are very nice! The management is much much better than it used to be too! If you're in the Towson area and looking for a fun way to spend the day, definitely check out Round1

Lack luster especially compared to other arcade's/entertainment venues tbh and Ive been a few times

I had a great time here today! I came here for Groove Coaster and got Groove coaster and more! THEY HAVE PROJECT DIVA ARCADE! I didn't even know that before I went there! My one problem with the place was that it was busy. But if you came on a weekend then that problem would probably be solved. Also they do have DDR if your wondering But not Taiko No Tatsujin sadly Also just for the review sorting here's sum word: Rhythm games

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
