I had no idea they had a karaoke room! This was so much fun! They charge by person but I feel like you should be able to rent the room for an hour. It shouldn't matter how many people you have as long as you don't go over capacity. Place was clean. We didn't do anything else here this time.
Very fun to go with the kids if you have the extra money. Clean environment and friendly staff.
It was my first time going. I didn't stay long. However I did walk around and saw all the games. Pool room, and bowling. Kids and adults can have fun here. The bar opens at 12pm. And the food opens at 11am. I definitely want to go back and experience the fun.
I've created so many memories with my kiddos at this place! I highly recommend taking your family here! My kids hardly ever get along, but when we're at Round 1, they're besties!
Great games and decent prizes. Customer service could use some work. Waited quite some time to check out in the ticket store. She was on the phone and we waited more than 15 minutes before anyone helped us. She kept answering the phone and helping them while we waited. It wouldn't have been a problem, except there were three other people that could have done the same job.
This is a fun place for bowling and arcade games. Many of the games are Japanese based, so it provides a different challenge and perspective on play. Bowling is reasonably priced, but the arcade games are a little on the expensive side. The staff was friendly and willing to help when needed. Despite the price, the family had a great time and it was a very enjoyable evening.
I used to love this place and would go weekly, but now the prices have gone up for the same amount of tokens and the machines cost double what they used to a year ago. not to mention the claw machines are all luck based and they took out all the skill based games, the tickets earned from games is also lowered and basically quality has gone down big time. save your money and go out of state for a better enjoyment.
A little overpriced for the games. The prize store is way over priced, Any of the claw style ,push style, etc, machines we'll just forget about winning. The place is actually pretty clean, though.?
Nobody taking drink orders at the counter and when they finally did they couldn't even make the drinks we wanted. Half the machines are broken or disorderly. Employees look lifeless/sad and are probably underpaid. Every other round one I have been to has been a better experience than this one.
Hubby and I came here when we passed through Wichita. Clean, friendly, and fun! So many games, and the games actually give you a decent amount of tickets! Also, the prizes you can purchase with tickets are actually reasonably priced compared to other arcade places we've been to! We will definitely come back the next time we're staying in or passing through Wichita!
Took my son there today just to get out of the house. This place is huge! Absolutely packed full of almost every game imaginable. Super clean, and not so loud that my son, who is autistic with sound sensitivity, couldn't handle it. I bought the yearly membership which came with 360 points on a reloadable card. You can easily spend a couple of hours here, no problem. Bathrooms were super clean, but two out of the three sinks did not work. The clown head game froze up on my son, and I had to search for an emp
one of the game repairmen was very rude one of the games was not letting us use our card so we tell him while he is playing a dj game and he says that he is busy and we need to wait. we ended up leaving. not okay!!!!!!!
Plenty to keep you and kids entertained. A little on the pricey side, but what isn't these days. Good place to kill a few hours and have fun. And there's always the mall to explore after or before. Check it out!
Prices are a tad high but you can get some good deals. The green card is a good option for around $8 of 60 minutes, unlimited play, but you can only play select games. They have good deals on ice cream and alcohol.
Well this place was on my mind to visit with my ?? grandson's, but it's been busy for a person like myself ?????? so since I am in the near future of taking my grandsons there then IT gets a Star rating for four stars and I'll just have to make sure that a trip is taken there before the grandkids get the Go ???? but it's been hard that IT is currently very busy ???? nice place to go, but the way this review was made through the Moto g Play - 2023 phone device using Google products and thank.
I absolutely love bringing my kids here, but the bathrooms are disgusting. They smell like sewage and there's always feces or pee on the seats. It's grose.
We love the time limit play, great for my Littles but some of our favorite games weren't working yesterday and I would love to see them expand that selection a little.
First time going today and I purchased the highest option for credits for my son and I to play the games. One of the games was the one that you have to drop tokens and it will push them in, we played that one at least 10 times straight if not more and the game froze on the bonus part. Was supposed to drop multiple cards and move the belt several times. One of the employee's tried to fix it but couldn't so advised us to go to the desk. I told them we played it multiple times and they only refunded one swipe
Check update!! I love this place, haven't had a bad experience here yet. All staff were very helpful and informative about the club programs and the games. Haven't tried the food court yet, bowling was good, lanes were a little dry when we went. Haven't tried the billiards yet either. But have won many of the claw machines, and prize games. Not your run of the mill ticket exchange either. UPDATE: Put 150 dollars in this game to build these towers then it errors because it ran our of tokens to build the b
I always like goin here there so much to do. Now they have new games to play. Very kid friendly but also a good date night
Really fun arcade, lots of interesting games. We did the hour card twice and really enjoyed it. Also ice cream is amazing priced. Totally worth it!!
Plenty of fun, but hard to find a staff member if you need one.
Great location to spend time! Also a great place if you want to show off your skills in the crane games for a date or showing your competitive side with the Bro?s at basketball or other 1v1+ games. Bowling and shoe rental is fairly priced too. They recently got a menu update featuring Japanese food! (Karaage, takoyaki, etc)
It isn't the arcade I grew up with in the eighties, but huge selection of games and can't be mad at the fact that they have a bar. Friendly staff. [edit] This is a once (maybe twice) a year event for us. New games every time we come. That's (mostly) great! But, sometimes your favorite game is gone, lol.
Went for the $8 for a 11/2 hr of game time on non ticket machines. Was worth it for sure for the entire Fam.
When you go in there's a counter in the back and you pay for "points". It's a card they will give you and you have several options for however many points you want. You can spend $20 and get like 200 points I think. Each game takes about 8-15 points depending on what it is and you just swipe the card like a debit card to play the games. Definitely a fun date night or even going as a family and playing. There's claw machines, basketball, ski-ball, bowling, area for food, I was honestly amazed when I went I f
NEVER have I spent so much money to have such a poor experience due to management. I spent $400+ and management is rude. The employees are great. A girl named Naveah in particular was great service with a friendly attitude. But the 3 managers on shift refuses to help with anything. 2 employees at the counter serving a line of 15. We asked for cups he said get in line. 30 minutes just to wait for 2 cups with our pitcher of pop we already ordered. He had an attitude not only with the customers but also his em
I enjoy the claw machines as these are UFO japanese style. They are mainly designed to try to use the lert claw or right claw to push the objects into the shoot. Its challengine and fun for me! They offer great japanese style plush like hello kitty by sanrio or Rilakkuma. They also have prize figures made from Banpresto. I wish they would have more options in prizes changed out weekly or daily as its the same stuff for me to win if i go frequently which starts to get boring. I love rhythm games, they have a
This place is a huge rip off. I would not send my kids here unless I wanted them to feel dismay and sadness.
Scammed me out of 200 dollars with the claw machines. 10/10 would let them scam me again.
If you like rhythm games, this is the place! It's a great arcade, I wish others were like this. Round 1 was clean, games well maintained, reasonably priced, and overall a great experience. The kids and I had a blast here. Update: 2/26/23 I have returned. While I did have a lot of fun. I was mega bummed to find MaiMai had been removed. Replaced by chrono ring, a far inferior knock off. I was also bummed they only had one Wakka machine. I am glad they at least had that one, it's one of my favorites.
My 4 year old had a blast on the motorcycles... She got first place. All time fav.
Absolute HORRIBLE service, the bowling lanes kept freezing every new person (not their fault I know). Paying for a hr with 5 kids, waiting 3-5 minutes every new bowler, the kids were over it. After the 4th time the lane ?shut down? we asked for a refund as we were not ?bowling?. The manager ( Stephanie) was VERY rude. Told us how we were wrong and talked over us every time we were talking. We did not get a refund, but lucky for us?they did give us 1 free game. So that's maybe 12hrs?
I give it a two because I love Round One I've been to multiple other locations and they are awesome never ran for this problem before. So we were playing the claw machines and I noticed that the machines weren't working properly, especially this cinnamonroll one we did. My son picked up the whole stuffed animal, entire thing in claw, but as soon as it got to the top the claw literally opened and dropped it. I thought it was a fluke so we play it again and it did it again. We go to tell customer service I th
Manager chad was immediately unwelcoming, and condescending to me seconds after I had sat down. Did nothing against rules or policy. He must have assumed I was about to or something.
This place is always great, we go multiple times a week. Hands down the best arcade in Wichita. They have a better game selection, better prize vault, and I like their food selection better. You can also walk around the mall if you want to take a brake from the games.
It's colorful and has lots of gatcha crane games.
We spent around $300 between bowling, arcade, food, and drinks. The chicken tenders were horrible and tasted like frozen fish sticks, charging $14 for such nastiness. Burgers were alright but I would say they were ridiculously small. Drinks were alright, we had multiple of rounds and most of them were made by rookies, ratios and flavors weren't consistent. The arcade?s quality of games are extremely low. We would?ve had a blast if we spent our money at Dave and busters instead!
The staff was pretty helpful and polite when I had any questions
Great place for a family outing or get together. Very clean. We bowled by the hour.Played games and ate there. The Pizza and wings were delicious. Ages of children in our group was 6,13 and 16 plus 4 adults. It is pretty reasonable for a place like this but with 7 people it added up fast. Would like to see them have more specials to help w cost but that's the only reason I have them 4 stars instead of 5.
The prices for games suck. You will spend 100.00 bucks in 20 minutes. The only saving grace is the .99 cent ice cream. AND they won't let you tip or shake any of the machines. So dont even ask or try. They don't take kindly to my kind.
Im so done with this place a water cup for 3 dollars absolutely not my sister was having an emergency and needed water 3 freaking dollars this is bs they give us 2 water cups for free and now it charges us for my sister that is having an emergency this place is sucks i do not recommend coming here bc this is absolutely ridiculous water cup should always be free and than they made us pay for a water bottle this is bs round 1 do better bc that is ridiculous water should always be free especially someone who n
I'm usually not one to complain but I'm going to write this as a warning for this who go, I spent 50 bucks on a game card and got to playing I struggled to win much that being of my own fault but I did win a decent sized plush prize now usually you can ask and they'll switch out the plush, imagine my surprise when they told me ?no you can't have that price because it has ?coming next? by it you have to have one of these cheap pillows instead? (paraphrasing) and after looking around spirits crushed I saw tha
So many games to choose from , I wish they have other games besides all the cran machines. Other than that great atmosphere.
Love Round One, lots of new arcade games. There's pool and bowling as well. They seem to rotate arcade games so there's always something new. Concessions expensive though.
Decent arcade location. Food quality/options have recently gotten a lot better. Had some issues last time we went with the bowling alley employees, but the arcade side has always been enjoyable.
Very fun place! We went there while visiting Wichita.
It was fun for the 4 year old granddaughter, but a little expensive for me. My 64 though and everything is expensive to me. They were all very friendly, it was clean, and the granddaughter loved it. Nothing to complain about.
A fun experience every visit with kind staff that always wears a genuine smile. I have never had anything other than an amazing time at Round1 Towne East Square.
Love it here kids can't get enough of this place
Forget "a place where a kid can be a kid"...how about a place where adults can be kids and adults? Sign. Me. Up! Bowling, beer, food, arcade games, claw machines, and ticket-chasing chaos...Round One is the grown-up playground your inner child is begging for. Ditch the kids, make it a date and GO!??
Cool place. Probably best arcade there is. We won a lot of stuff.
Kids love going here but after 10 pm it is 18 and above
Everything was so expensive and the card machine didn't even work for the arcade
Security is rude and so is the manager. First I want to say, security told my husband and I that by 10 they would be checking if you are 21. We heard on the intercom and the guy working at the bowling alley that it was midnight that they check if you're 21. I had my ID but my husband did not and since I'm not 25, I was not allowed to be his guardian. They do not allow pictures of ID?s either, even though you can use a picture literally anywhere you go unless it's a place that they scan ID?s. The manager sai
This place offers a lot of fun activities for the family young and old. To be honest depending on the age of your kids I would let that dictate what time is best to go. What I mean about that is they open at 11am-2am, I believe those are the hours if not close. Depending on the times you go it can be super calm and chill not have to worry about teenagers and drunk folks. As you'd expect any where else that stays open late, serves alcohol and food, offers plenty of TVs to watch sports, 4 professional gra
Security guard blocked the way to the food area talking with staff then kicked me out when I tried to order Ice cream because I was holding someones drink, pool equiptment was horrible quality and I doubt we will be back. waste of $16
Friendly employees, food is okay, lots of fun games. It does get kind of hot in here and it's really noticeable if you're playing games for a while. Go during the week and the crowds are better and the games seem more fair!
Lots of rigged machines, the bathroom sinks are broken with no sign stating repair coming, the faucets were literally floppy and not attatched fully and wouldnt turn on, that's foul for a place that serves booze and food.. and has kids and everyone touchinf everything with doody fingers, like cmon yall got vr, if you dont have a clean bathroom then i dont trust to put a vr anywhere near my fave, let alone my hair. Who knows what id get. Clean up your shit, fix your handwashing stations.
We went with two teenagers, and they had a blast. There are an endless number of arcade games, and the prices for credits are great. Bowling games aren't very expensive, and they have challenges that can earn you easy prizes! There really isn't a way to go wrong here. Even when it is packed, it doesn't feel busy!
Fun arcade with lots to do. I especially liked the claw machines.
21 BUCKS FOR A PITCHER OF MODELO AND THE MUSIC DROVE ME CRAZY THY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT WOW DROVE US CRAZY OVER PRICED EVEN TO TODAYS STANDAREDS WOULD SUGGEST AGAINST IT . BUT DAM KID WANNA HAVE FUN AT OUR EXPENSIVE EXPENSE THERES GOTTA BE BETTER AND CHEAPER PLACES.
Most machines work as intended but I've had 3 fail on me and was denied a refund or retry. The crane games are your typical ones, rigged. It's very clean but the prices feel pretty steep.
It's a fun place to go to with family, friends, kids, or anyone. There is a corner where you can play pool, and then there is bowling, and obviously there are arcades, vending machines, and other games. You can also get food there, like chicken tenders, fries, pizza, burgers, and ice cream. And there is also a bar to get drinks.
Great place to take the kiddos when you just need some arcade time.
Always a great time with the kids and for myself! You have to use their bowling balls but $14.99 all you can bowl during the week is nice. The kids love the numerous amount of claw machines so much so we have a massive collection.
Went bowling with my children in the afternoon. They already had cosmic bowling. My daughter is taking medicine for epilepsy. The lights were bothering her. I asked to have regular lights. The attendant Patrick asked the manager, and they put on the regular lights. As a dad, I am very appreciative.
Being from the arcade kid generation, I loved this place! It was my dream come true. If only I didn't live two hours away and could visit more.
Took the kids, had a blast. Didn't have time for a beer this time, but usually I'll toss back a cold one and dominate them in some connectt 4 hoops! I never get the food here so not sure how good it is. The crane games here are by far better than anywhere I've ever played. You actually can win them.
Very nice atmosphere. Very noisy so not a good idea for people with issues. Noise canceling headphones are a good idea Lots of fun games
This is the most fun my family and I have had in a LONG time! We opted for $100 of arcade credit and that let 3 people play NON-STOP for more than 2 hours! The atmosphere is great, the games are amazing and the food was pretty good! This has become our new hangout spot after just one visit. I'm so impressed with the number of games, the organization of everything, and the plentiful security and staff on hand. It can be a little pricey, which is why we opted to not bowl, but other than that this place is unb
The beverages and food were great for the price. Unfortunately I tried to pay for 2 lanes together and they nickel and dime the charges here so someone accidentally joined the second lane and it cut off our game. This was after we had to wait for all 10 of us to be present because they can't keep track of which lanes got shoes unless everyone is present at once. Then we got 9n the wait list for karaoke, they said 50 minute wait...so we waited 50 minutes only to find out they gave our spot away and it was go
Big and fun arcade for the whole family. Prices are a bit steep for the amount of games that you get. I spent about 75 dollars for three people and it didn't even last an hour in games. Most if the claw machines require alot of credits and manipulate parents as well as little kids in wasting their money. We won a stuffed animal after the majority of our credits went towards one machine. If you go here try to communicate woth your kids to play the multi-player racing and shooting games as well as the cool d
Lovin this place! Smaller than the ones Ive been to out of state fyi. Great time, love the food! Kids love the 0.99 ice cream?when there is any left. Recently bowled there. Not too bad, no complaints?.limited lanes, but give em a break, its in a mall?not too shabby. Games are fun times! Fam loves the claw machines; I love the arcades. My younger ones think the baby claw machines are uber cool! I cant keep them away once they start. My only complaint (for everything as of late) is cost. Keep in mind I grew
This was the second time we had been there. The first was just a short time after they opened. Everything was working great. However, this time when we went for my son's birthday(16), it wasn't the same. The kiosk after you entered charged my account(hold) but didn't give us the card. Found a person who worked there and asked for the card. They rested the machine and then went into the service menu and did a test of the card dispenser that worked, giving a card with no balance. So we followed an employee to
They have everything! Tons of up-to-date video games, bowling, and good food. My family had a great time here, and Round One would be my first choice to have my grandchildrens birthday parties.
The Manager Kayla is terrible at customer service, you pay for a birthday at their place and spend hundreds of dollars but can't let us use a knife to cut our cake. She also was handling food with no gloves, ??. This will be the last time we come here just because of Kayla!
This place was a lot of fun! It had tons to do. To name a few they have claw machines. On most of the machines they have a picture with instructions on how to get the prize the best way. I have never seen that before. It made the game so much more interesting and fun as well surprisingly. They also have 2 VR machines. At least from what I saw. Me and a friend decided to try it out an it really makes you feel like you are in the action. It was probably my favorite part of the whole experience. They of course
Chaotic and noisy, which is kind of to be expected. However, the arcade prices are absolutely insane. Games come out to about 2 or 5 dollars a play. There's not nearly enough seating if you're interested in snacking. Half the machines are on error mode.
Took the kids did the bowling and arcade. The food was not to bad with a small menu. The kids had a blast bowling with the option for the rails to come up when they bowl. It was pretty easy to set up. The arcade had plenty of options and games to play. Might do one of their birthday party here.
They have lots more here to do than I thought. It is pretty pricey, minimum card load is 11 bucks along with a 2 dollar card purchase fee however they do give you a good amount of play time on the games.
Went here last night for a birthday party! Was met with the K-9 unit, along with two other WPD and their own security. Wondering, just how safe is it nside. Then, see a liquor bar inside. Very off the wall for that. Especially if it is for everyone under 21 years old. It must be so the parents can get a drink from all the noise.
Fun place games wise. Not much interaction with any employees any of the times we went. The pizza is horrible and cost to much. Will never buy again. The fries was alright but for the price it wasn't very much and had a hair in it. Yuck. Quite disappointed. Spending how much I did there I could of took my family to a restaurant and spent less on alot of food. We ordered a pitcher of pop and was given small bathroom size cups to drink from. So disappointing. Truthfully wish for a refund.
Bowling alley schemed their deals. On the deal board, says $15 a person for unlimited play Mon-Fri All Day and says next to it no end time for the deal but also, Close-5pm and the clerk says they stopped at 7pm... So it makes no sense. So I payed $15 for two games person, plus $4 shoe rental per person. Only to find out with bumpers, that the lanes were warped... The balls nonstop hugged the bumpers. Was not happy about this. Only gave it two stars because it was a clean place at least... For a Friday night
Nice place to bring your friends if you need to get out for a while and have some fun! love the Japanese rhythm games they have there to play, staff and food is also great! would recommend to people who wants to go to an arcade on a Friday night or something!
Great entertainment for the whole family a date night or just to have a night out full of fun. From bowling to arcades games it's all there.
Had a really great time with the family! The selection of games was so much fun! But would like to have someone wiping down the games more.
It was a fun place to be. They had great games here like dance dance revolution and others. Alcohol too and interesting food.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
