My first time at this Round 1 location & I was suprised at all they had & how fun it was; even for adults.. After 10pm its 21+ which is awesome ??????? !! They have all type of arcade games including the life sized Connect 4, rows of Claw Machines which was my favorite part. Bowling, party rooms, food & drink etc & connected to the Mall. Will be back again ??!
We got to the center to play the unlimited game cards special. And "it isn't working and they didn't tell me why" was the answer I got at the register. When we were checking out the menu and ice cream next to the kiosk, a man wearing all black came out from the back and said "the kitchen isn't open until noon." Unprompted and rudely. The website says 11. So that was pretty annoying. Most of the games (arcade and games that give tickets) are 9 to 15 credits to play. So that is $2.50-$4 a game depending on
Games are fun. If you come for the group games and fun it's a great place. Lots of fun multiplayer games( hungry hungry hippos, four players air hockey, pacman and racing games you can play with multiple friends.) Ticket ranges are pretty fair. No, you won't be able to get the biggest item in one sitting with your ticket winnings but younwil be able to save them and after about 4-5 visits you could get some of the cooler prizes in the prise room. Prizes are about what you would expect from a Americanized
This spot, any age, great games included Pac-Man it's an updated version but I was able to get to level 19 it's worth! Bowling there was a bit of a wait, they have a waitlist. Billiards also no wait time, lots of tables. When you get tired of games you can walk the Mall, lots of cool stores & a food court. Unfortunately we didn't eat at Round 1 so I can't give any opinions but the food court options were good. We had a great time & will be back.
We arrived at 9:30pm. Sat at the bar for 40 minutes. No one helped us. We did speak with a security gaurd and a food worker who reassured us someone was coming. After a long wait we were told the bartender went on break and come back at 10:30. By this time it wasn't just us not being served but other customers as well. We went to a bar within walking distance to kill time returning at 10:40. To still have no one there to tend to us. Dang near 11 we finally got some help. A manager and bartender were now
Not sure what the security guards name is but he was one of the biggest jerks ever. I understand there's rules but at least take the time to explain it. He asked for ID which is fine bc it's past 10. My mother says ?oh we were actually just about to leave but what are the rules?? He says ?well if you're about to leave then leave? then proceeds to be a jerk to everyone in the lane. Sure enforce the rules but don't be a jerk about it. It waa my mother?s first time so it was not the best experience. I give 3 s
I'm literally with my wife my boy and his girl....I have 3 kids and my boy and his girl have 3 kids, of course us adults are sitting together and all of our 6 kids are sitting next to us in a booth. Security guard ask us grown as adults for our ID's, we comply and show. My oldest daughter and my boys oldest daughter went to play games (The claw games are rip offs and you will not win, daughter and my boys daughter which is my niece played atleast about 5 times and never won) and the security says we have to
We planned a birthday party with 13 kids and 10 adults. Upon arriving I was informed there was no fountain beverage available and I was expected to pay 4.61 per can of soda! As if that wasn't bad enough I then went to purchase free play cards for the kids only to be told they can't sell them but I could purchase point cards at a higher rate. At this point I was extremely upset that this information was not posted on the website nor was I informed earlier that morning when I called to confirm our food order.
Wow, we had an absolute blast! It was super cozy and spotlessly clean. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. Our family had the most amazing time! We can't thank you enough!
Its a huge arcade its unlimited play but they don't have pinball machine but overall its fun
We had my friends birthday party here. It was a lot of fun. Only complaint was it took over 30 mins to get our single bag of fries and people who orderd meals after us got their food before us. And the line for the bar was constantly long and slow.
Dirtiest Round 1 I been to none of tables or trash cleaned, trash everywhere, also NONE of the machines have been reset or restocked? None of the claw machines! And they just have all the boxes of plushies stacked everywhere around not stocked? All machines were empty or games were just out of order :/
Brought my son here to play some arcades and the experience started out tremendously by the very first machine being used not working and eating 24 of our credits (after purchasing $28 dollars) these credits get used in nearly 45 minutes at this place so 45 minutes of some arcades is going to cost you $28 bucks right off the bat. I kindly went up to one of the employees and asked if i could get the credits refunded and he mentioned the other employee who was a ?maintenance? guy was going to look into the m
We had an amazing experience at Round1, and a huge part of that was thanks to Destiny! She went above and beyond to explain everything to us, making sure we understood how to get the most out of our visit. Her patience, enthusiasm, and knowledge truly made our family outing extra special. From game recommendations to tips on maximizing our fun, Destiny made sure we had an unforgettable time. Exceptional customer service like this is rare, and we truly appreciate her kindness and effort. Thank you, Destiny,
Great for the games, but if you are trying to get food good luck. They forgot my order, and then just ignored my wife and I when we called them out on it. Took 10 mins just to get a large drink. Maybe it is because we paid at the kiosk. Either way, will never try to eat here again
Had a fantastic time at Round One. There are tons of different options for entertainment such as bowling, billiards, video games, and air hockey. The prices are fairly good and there are unlimited play options for a period of time for the majority of the video games. The place is extremely clean and the staff are courteous. There are a couple of air hockey tables designed for 4 people and that was a chaotic blast to play. This is a great place to have fun with family and friends. They also have a bar
Great new venue at the mall! Lots of fun game options comparable to Dave and Busters. Plus a ton of crane machines that can suck up every last credit trying to win a squishy animal! We had a blast. The bowling looked fun, the food court and dining area was pretty big, Party rooms and packages were pretty good. Otherwise, you can buy your cards and activate it for a one time fee and then reload them every time you go back. It's easy to do on their app or the kiosks. Lots of basketball hoops and games for my
Edit: 4/27/2025 I just found out that timed play has become almost worthless. They took out DDR, other music games, fighting games, maximum tune 5 and literally just left only a handful of meh games playable. Very disappointing. New review (11/20/24) Now they have a new mechanic and he is awesome. I asked him to fix the shifter on my favorite racing game Wangan Midnight and he went ahead and repaired it. Then after he fixed it, I tried it out and it still wasn't 100% so the other gentlemen called him
Arcade part is fun. Bowling is fun, but if you want the interactive part, you can't see a thing on the lane because of the GIANT screens for different sports in front of you. We even had the lights get turned off and it didn't help. According to them, they can't turn off the screens either. Will definitely go back for the arcade games, but most likely not bowling.
I've seen drunk drivers on I-5 with more awareness of their surroundings than the service team here. Went here today after a 3-hour drive from Portland just to kill some time and grab a bite. Big mistake. I ordered food, got my ticket, and waited... and waited. Meanwhile, the staff behind the counter were too busy serving the same group of teenagers over and over. They literally ignored everyone else, including me, even though our orders were clearly piling up and we were standing right there. Tried to get
Round one is like Las Vegas for kids. It is amazing to see how many fun games and activities they have. Bowling, Billiards and tons of machines for the kids to play they have food there even a bar for beer. This is great for kids or adults very fun atmosphere.
We've been coming here for a while. One thing about this place is it is consistent. Pros: the games are generally in good working order. There's a good variety and they bring in new games pretty regularly. It's never so busy I feel like I can't play a game I'd like to play. Cons: don't order food. It's always disappointing. Ordering is complicated. You use a kiosk and order. That isn't the complicated part. I have never seen more than one kiosk working at a time. The kiosks are in a spot that makes it har
They were out of pizza. The bar was closed. The food that was available was good. Staff were working very hard to get food out, but it still took a while. Was told even after playing in arcade to save tickets, we wouldn't have enough to get anything of value. Dave and Busters is definitely better. Maybe a good place for bowling.
Very entertaining! Good quality plushies in claw machines. Great selection of games, lots of games. Food was pretty good. Prize area was legit. Will try bowling alley next visit.
They have so many games! Bring money. It's not cheap. I bought $200 worth, and it might have lasted a hour. Fun time though. Love the $.99 cent ice cream cones.
Really great place to bring the family! MAYBE the billiards and bowling prices are a touch high, but you get what you pay for. The whole place is nice and well kept, and they have some newfangled bowing options I'd never seen before. The prices for the arcade games are not outrageous and there are lots of games that pay out tickets to spend in the massive prize room. I was sad to see there was only one little skee ball machine tucked way in the back, but at least it was there at all and it's the cheapest g
Brought my son for his 21st birthday. Menu items like pizza and slushes were not available. Bar was half open serving beer only. We were told the actual bar would open at 6:30 and instead was closed completely after arrival. Very dissatisfied.
We took our boys here to celebrate them doing so awesome in school and we all had so much fun! Just like most family fun center places it's a little spendy but definitely worth every penny! Will definitely be taking them again soon!!!
This Review is for the claw machines. We used to be able to get plushies, sometimes I come here for my kids birthday. They get a trash bag full to donate or give away. But that is not possible anymore. If we are lucky and they put enough balls in the claw machine, weare able to get one. The claw machines are extremely rigged. If you come here expect to win nothing.
Worst experience for a party! Nothing matched to what was discussed over the phone. For paying $700, it should of been better. Cards didn't work, the host was clueless to everything and barely saw them to have help with anything. Then we were told we had to choose if we wanted more pizza or wings when I paid for the buffet. Also was told by the manager I couldn't take any food home. They do not tell you that there is a SMALL section only for games. You do not get access to all the games. Mostly just the bor
Loved the fact that I could teach my son (13 yrs old) how to play pool. The price was very fair for a Saturday afternoon ($14 hr). And no one else was playing, so we got to have privacy.
Over 20 of us went for my granddaughters birthday. Nearly half of the menu was not available for ordering including pizza, burgers, ramen, etc. . So we took individual orders from each person in our party and placed a $200 food order. It took almost 30 minutes to get an adult beverage. After waiting almost 30 minutes for our food, my son went and asked the staff for an update on it. They told him there were 7 orders ahead of ours. We continued to sit almost another 30 minutes just to be told they lost our o
???? We highly reccommend this Round-1 Amusement/Entertainment/Activity/Event Center. In our case the engaged couple wanted to expand their wedding rehearsal to include bowling & other functions, because they're active FUN LOVERS, and Round-1 in Puyallup was the obvious choice in the Tacoma/Seattle area. ??Juan?? assisted us from the investigation phase to completion of a very successful event that included dozens of our closest relatives and friends, of which all were satisfactorily impressed and appreci
I paid for a birthday party for 11 children and got minimum help at the party. First, upon booking the party, i came in, but the party person was on lunch, so they said I could come back after an hour. Instead, I opted to book online. I had some questions regarding my party and called for 3 days without a return call. Finally, someone called to confirm my reservation, and I got my questions answered. I was told we would get 3 pizzas and 4 pitchers of soda for the party and was asked what color table cloth w
Although it was fun to play ski ball, and the variety of games there I felt the value just wasn't justified. The crane games should pay out after a certain amount of attempts. Combined my family of 4+1 extra went to win some prizes, and have fun. I loaded over $500 onto cards and my daughter spent an additional $400 on reloads, and basic food, such as fries and drinks. We were there for around 4 hours. Round One needs to make a profit, but if it's not paying out often enough to keep your interest or be fun
This place is amazing! It has video games galore! Pool tables, bowling, karaoke rooms, and prize redemption ticket games. To have a good time it's going to cost you some moola though!! Even $200 will buy you a good time!&
In just the span of a few months prices gave skyrocketed, there's no bonus points system per perchase; just a mention of $X bonus that doesn't really exist. Games that were busted months ago are still broken despite the generous revenue this place makes. The cost per play per machine has increased, sometimes twofold. The range of motion in the claw games has been reduced with most prizes out of reach and no way to tell unless you spend credits, the machines are suddenly 'loose' now and guaranteed wins ju
Went bowling here with the family. The frustrating part about their system with bowling pay by the hour is the second you pay at the front desk they start the timer. We have small kids and it easily took us like 15 min to get situated. And in the middle of our game their was a strike competition that completely paused our game. We lost another 10 min from that. We didn't even get to finish our second game.
Based on our experience, I can confirm that many of the online reviews reflect the issues we encountered. We've book a party room at the Puyallup, WA South Hill location to celebrate my daughter?s 8th birthday. Unfortunately, several issues during the event made it far from the enjoyable experience we were expecting. First, we were initially told that the party room would be available at 2:00 PM on Sunday 12/8. However, four days before the event we were informed that there was another booking for that ti
We come here often with our kids. They have bowling, arcade games, a great prize redemption center, and affordable food options as well. Its a great well rounded arcade, it's clean and always busy.
(Brought my friend for his Birthday... wasn't told till 2 games in NO PIZZA!!! LAME! The bowling software is giving people zero on random frames because the pins aren't in perfect formation...hmmm maybe that's why I only managed to get two strikes and my buddy got 4 7-10 splits...anyways... They told us the bartender was on their way soon. Running late basically so we bought two bowling games almost $90...then we find out they took pizza off the menu and replaced it with some teriyaki style garbage and ba
We came during a week day & played for an hour. Thank you to the guy with long dreads for asking his boss to hook up the speaker closer to us so we can listen to the music they were playing. 10/10 would recommend
Had so much fun here with my friends & their kids! There was so many different arcade games, bowling, pool tables, and so much more! The only downside was the prices of alcohol and food; it was like we were at a Seahawks game. It was quite easy to spend a hundred dollars an hour here.
We had a very disappointing experience at Round 1 Bowling & Arcade during our annual holiday party on January 15, 2025. We arrived at 5:00 PM, an hour before our scheduled start time, only to find the party room completely unprepared. By 6:00 PM, I checked on the food and was told by Dylan that it would be ready by 6:30 PM. However, when I followed up at the counter, I was informed that they had lost our party confirmation and the food hadn't even been prepared. On top of that, the room lacked basic essen
It was great. I hung out with my grandson play all the games we got lots of Tickets playing basketball, Skeet ball and so much more. Its a cool place to hang out with grandkids, family, just everyone. They have Bowling lanes, Food court.when you vist the South Hills Mall go by and see for yourself. The place was clean both days we went. Very nice And friendly staff.
I had an amazing experience at Round 1 thanks to the outstanding customer service from Emilio and Corwyn! Emilio was incredibly sweet, always approaching me with a warm smile and a friendly, personable attitude. It made my visit feel so much more welcoming and enjoyable. Corwyn was equally impressive?his knowledge was top-notch! He took the time to explain the error code on the machine clearly, ensuring I understood the issue. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set t
Booked a New Year?s Eve bowling party for family. The whole process was tedious and unorganized. Had to call repeatedly to get my party confirmed. The directions say someone would called within a week and no one called so I had to. A week before the party I called to confirm how many would be attending and was told by the first person I spoke with that they didn't have my party. When I said I had a confirmation number she had to go talk to a manager who was able to find it. Upon check in they didn't not co
So it's really busy and the drinks were slow. We got a couple lanes for a birthday party but much of the time they had mechanical failure. No compensation was offered for the downtime
The young staff does not care here . We had a horrible experience with our family. Multiple bowling lines open, they kept telling us three hour wait lol we don't get it . What a joke and super crazy just to play a game a pool 20bucks not even cool. Not coming back definition not recommend
Saw they have a black mold issue where they cook and serve food/drinks. Disgusting considering I was just here and ordered food. Unacceptable violation of health and safety standards. People can get sick or worse. The bar sucks they have one person working the bar and the line goes all the way out to the door. 0/10 don't recommend coming here.
Been to this Round 1 a couple times now, once for an office party and once the other day for a quick round of claw machine games, made out pretty well with some Chainsaw Man and Anya for my wife??. Solid Arcade vibes in general. It's a solid arcade with a big emphasis on the claw machines. I think they could work down that ratio a little and get some more games in there. I enjoy the claws but it takes up a lot of space, and the game selection is a bit lacking compared to South Center Round 1. Lacking in a
Cool arcade with a ton of things. Adults and kid friendly. From food to games, this place has entertainment. Conveniently located in the mall. 4/5 stars because there could be more staff to shorten the wait lines for food.
Fun place. Kids love it as well because after bowling they can play arcade games. Food is good as well.
I had the absolute worst experience at this Round 1 location. The food service was an absolute nightmare everyone serving food had such an attitude and was extremely behind on orders even though there were about 4-5 people visibly in the kitchen. They were giving people the wrong food and getting upset about remaking it. There were people waiting as long as I was (35 minutes) for a single scoop of ice cream and had to ask workers after standing right infront of the case with her receipt the whole time. My w
My food was burnt. Got told no open bowling till 2:30 by one person ... got told for $7 more we could rent a VIP lane but still unable to get added to a wait list for open lanes and at 2:30 a 3rd person told us it was an hour an a half wait for before there would be lanes open. Top that with a network problem that took the arcade off line.... Round 1 ruined my birthday
Great place to enjoy But not many staff to restock prize on claw machine. wait alot of time??..
Great size entertainment center with many options for gaming, playing pool, bowling, or singing karaoke. They have plenty of staff. One star removed due to their food counter always being out of food selections (we've been several times), the long lines, and the staff consistently being unwilling to help. I think once they get more established, hopefully, these processes will improve.
This is a second time we have bowled here. Bold times we have had problems with the lanes. Employees take a long time to fix them. They also do no credit the down time. The employees seem eager to fix problems. The managers do not care. Unfortunately for the kids who work here we will not come back. I recommend picking a different bowling alley.
We went here for someone?s birthday a couple of years ago and it was fun. Saturday night we show up, there are no lanes available at all, and you can't even sign up to get a lane in a couple hours as we were told we could do on the phone just a few minutes earlier. Took my 3 year old and ended up just playing games. Spent about $20 worth of tickets to win a stuffed animal my son wanted out of a claw machine just to realize the gate where you grab your prize was locked, and it says to have an associate unloc
Very fun thing to do! I don't know who had more fun, me or the Grandkids! 44 bucks gets a lot of plays on the arcade machines, 100s of claw machines, to win big plush animals and toys. Both my Grandkids were happy. This is our 3rd visit. Will come back again.
Easy place to kill a couple hours. Large variety of different games to choose from. There are self service kiosks inside to add money to a card you can then use for every visit. Machines also allow you to check your earned points to then "purchase" items from the reward shop. Never tried the food or drinks but they have a number of options, in addition to a bar. They also have bowling lanes, karaoke rooms, and rentable rooms to host kids parties. It's a little pricey but worth it when I want to get out of
Total confusion from all employees!!! It's so beyond poorly ran, it leaves you speechless. Not one employee is on the same page!
Ok place to go, more for kids/young adults. Has a weird 3 drink maximum, doesn't matter the type of drink. Would be more ok with a drink limit during the day but not during the night. Mostly just go for the bowling and pool
I love going to this round one at the South Hill Mall. Every time I go it seems like they have at least one or two new games out and their claw machine prices are constantly changing. today Davion was the star in my visit as I had a couple issues with a machine but he was able to take care of me and get me situated. I greatly appreciate his attentiveness and willingness to help me I recommend people coming here if they want to have a good time with some actual skill based claws
Kids enjoy coming here, but it's pretty pricey for games, alot of the times the game machines are not working, and the price points for the prizes I feel are too high for what they are.
Took my grandkids on a Saturday with a light crowd. The primary focal point are the huge claw machines with large stuffed animals prizes that strategically block the view of the game area so everyone has to walk through them (as we did). After dropping 1/2 the gaming budget and getting Zero stuffed animals prizes. We spent time watching others play them and the same results. In my opinion Beware of the ?Cash Claws? machine. Nice bowling experience.
Absolutely the worst experience. No one working at the front desk. Unable to order food or drinks.
This place is a complete rip off the claw machines pick the item up perfectly if you can and then every single time it drops it before it gets to the box to drop it in they are weighted and weigh to much for the claw to hold . Made to loose I played like 40$ in claw machines and I am a pro at this game always win every time I play and win not one thing picked up like 15 times the item but no win always dropped before the drop box . Complete rip off don't waste your money !!!
Arcade and karaoke are fun. Bowling is difficult to do due to the amount of people waiting. Highly recommend going to a different bowling alley if you are only trying to bowl.
Went there to have 1 hour timed play. There wasn't a lot of 2 player games available. The place was clean which was nice. The games range from 13-19 tokens, with claw games going from 10-14 tokens. The food was horrible. The staff seemed to lul about..our ' supreme' nachos took 10+ minutes and was cold. We had about 5 pieces of chicken. Horrible. I peeked at their drink menu and it seemed a bit big, but had prices ranging from $5 for corona to $8 for mixed drinks. There is a karaoke room, billiards, and b
I booked a party room 8 days in advance and they didn't contact me to confirm until the day before. They emailed the day before twice (morning and then afternoon) advising that I had to call and confirm by 6pm that same day in order to keep the party. Mind you, I work for the city taking service calls and I'm working from 10-8pm out in the field trying to resolve people?s issues. When I called them the next day early morning around 730, the phone just rang and there wasn't an option for vm or call back. I w
Could be a fun place. However there is a lot of workers making food with long scraggly hair. Not wearing hairnets or equivalent to. They also have a terrible system for making orders. And games are broken
We came to this bowling alley thinking that it would be fun for our younger kids. Unfortunately that was not the experience. We paid for two hrs of game play and only got one! The price was $110 per hr. We also we had a technical difficulty on the frames and they said that they could not fix it, this was the icing on the cake. I would recommend going to real bowling alley.
OMG guys, this place is like the best everrrr for family fun! It's super clean and friendly for both kiddos and grown-ups. And the food? *chef's kiss* It's like, amaze-balls! ?? #FamilyFunGoals
Fun for kids heavily enforced rules staff there is nice. Overall a place worth visiting if you have kids.
I've been to many Round One locations in the U.S., and this one?s my favorite! Staff here is polite and does a fantastic job of keeping machines well-maintained. This is the only arcade I've been to around here that has a Pump It Up (PIU) Phoenix machine up and running and online, and their DDR machine is also in great shape! Karaoke is fairly priced and I love that they had song books to help with finding good options! Food?s great, prize area has a lot of great options, and the claw machines are fair to
Totally a great place to bring the family little on the expensive side but definitely a great experience.
We didn't stay. Two-hour wait to bowl. The big attraction seems to be claw game plushies.
Great place! Seems a lot bigger footprint than the round 1 in South Center. They have more variety of anime figurines for prize.
Great facility, lots to do, friendly staff. Crazy expensive, but tons of fun. Didn't try the overpriced food.
I really enjoy coming here. Like any arcade it can become very expensive very quickly. Especially the claw machines. I think most of the games are priced ok but the closer machines are very expensive and most of them are very very difficult to win. But the arcade itself is very modern, always clean, safe with security roaming around, and sta staff are generally available to help although at busy times I think they are probably overwhelmed so that's not from lack of trying! Recommended.
Games are fun, But the food service is HORRIBLE. try at your own risk you are willing to wait 40+ minutes to eat? the lady who says she's manager there sucks at managing the employees! they continue to take orders while there's a huge line waiting to receive their food. my family only ordered a water bottle and a scoop of ice cream but we had to wait until the other orders were served.. pizzas that had to be cooked.. time management is very important for food service! simply grab a water bottle and a scoop
Great but can use some improvement! It's a brand new and clean facility. They could definitely use some more staff to keep the bar open and get food orders out quicker. I appreciated seeing the staff wipe down the seating areas.
Great place to enjoy a little bit of everything from old school carnival games, to bowling, video games, air hockey and more. Family friendly environment with a helpful staff..
This place doesn't give a crap about you unless you've reserved as a ?party?. So obnoxious?I called early on Saturday to ask about open play, because my family and I wanted to go bowling at Round1 later that afternoon. I give them a call and ask if they take a reservation and they say they dont and to show up after 6pm for open plat. Well, 6pm rolls around and we get there, and we're told by the guy at the front desk all the lanes are taken by ?parties? , and that we have to wait till 8pm to maybe get a spo
I went for my second time , I had my older sister and her boyfriend next to us at all times after 10 I had a friend who was 19 with me I'm 21 my sister and her boyfriend are 25 and we went to spend are tickets and this guy walks up claiming we did not have a guardian because I was checking out and my sister stepped right out side the ticket doors because of bunch people trying to spend there's he claimed he warned us multiple times that night and I never seen him once and I'll never go there being the way h
Food isn't Michellin 5 star but its doable. . I mean, youre at a bowling alley.$5 dollar soda pitchers are refillable. Games are awesome. Bowling is awesome. Huge tv?s while bowling. I wish we got the remote! Spent $500 easy (BDay party). They have 1 hour unlimited ?time play? arcade games for $10 an hour, worth it. Security on premises and youll get called out even for a pocket knife. Fyi. Bar and restaurant are superfast at serving drinks and food. I recommend it. Time flies in there.
Lots of arcade games and such. The Initial D cabinet was my favorite. Pool tables, karaoke and bowling as well. Awesome, fun vibe for everyone.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision.
