Customer Reviews

I unexpectedly found this place when I arrived in Tucson. When I saw the Daytona USA Championship arcade, I was thrilled (almost crying). The place is good, I loved it, they have good prices on game cards and what they have to play is perfect.

Amanda and Peter are some of the most awesome staff you have. We watched a group of 6 huddle around a mom and her 2 boys with kid to small to walk threatening them cursing all around the other kids in the building the way she handled it was so amazing and to watch crew members gather to keep one another safe makes me feel great about bringing my kids here. They really told care of that family and kept a safe environment great job round 1!!

The cost of bowling I feel is good. The lanes are limited because they don't have very many. The games; while they have a great selection the games that you can play hourly are not the ones the kids want to play. They don't spark interest for kids, tweens and teens. The ones that cost per ticket or units and/or multiples of these units. However, the cost for 1 game is outrageous, and 9 times out of 10, they don't win. This causes frustration and disappointment making parents not wanting to return. I know I

Played claw games today and had SO MUCH FUN! Other than winning quality prizes, Dale made the experience even better. I have been to Round 1s in California and Arizona and Dale was hands down the best employee my partner and I have ever met. Dale was courteous, enthusiastically reset prizes, and was a genuine great human being. Thank you Dale and Tucson Round 1!

Alright so let me give you guys a rundown from a manager that's recently left Round1 you've got roughly 8-10 managers for 4 departments and lead management of the whole store everyone works together really fluently there is some rough gears but it's to be expected with such a large scale operation. From what I saw firsthand employees are treated with respect kindness and understanding, customers are treated the same exact way with everyone going above and beyond the bowling dept is ran by a team of two rock

Full of various kinds of games & a decent snack bar/ bar, I was surprised to find 2 floors of equipment. I did think the prices for the games was a bit too high, as my 2 teen grands went through about $40 each in less than 1/2 hour. They must make a bundle off the "activation fee", as this one time fee is pretty high for a simple plastic card.

We swung in for a fun afternoon with the family last week for the first time. Round 1 definitely had a Dave n Buster?s vibe, although there were definitely a lot more claw machines. The prize area at the end, in my opinion, was also easier to navigate. As far as pricing goes, it seemed about standard for these types of places. We spent about $240 on gaming and were there for many, many hours. Probably about 4 hours. The prizes that are kids got were pretty cool, which wasn't expected. So, they left happy

Overall, pretty good. It's a little pricey, but they have some unique games compared to Dave and busters, fantastic, or golf n stuff. They had a pretty unique power system that I thought was cool. It looks like power was on a pulley system or something overhead, and kept the power out of the way for the most part. I saw a guy struggling next to a power cord on a fishing game near the customer service line for the arcade. Some of the games were broken, like the whack a clown game (picture included). It kind

Pretty good selection of games, especially if you enjoy the Japanese imports that are hard to find elsewhere. I also think the hourly unlimited play option is a solid deal that other local arcades should adopt! As someone that primarily visits places like this for pinball, however, I can't really suggest coming here. The five machines they have are quality titles, but they're either out-of-order or have serious mechanical issues that render them unplayable. The pricing on all the games is also designed to k

I didn't realize this Round1 had two floors! The top floors they have all the rhythm games, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Bottom floor has more of the arcade style games. Games can range from 6 credits to 14credits for crane games. I didn't get to try the food, but I did come on a Monday afternoon, and it was pretty much empty. I didn't have to wait for anyone to get off any machines! I would definitely recommend going here if you're just looking for a nice casual fun time. I think there is a game for every

If you ever visit Tucson City, this place should be on your list of things to do. This is a complete entertainment center with so many arcade games ??, a full bowling alley ??, karaoke rooms ?? (there's an app for this), Billiards ??, Japanese claw machines??and Japanese rhythm machines (DJ & Dance). They have a nice selection of gift prices at the Arcade Shop on the lower level. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have a few eateries ???????? and a full bar ??????. You can easily have a half day of fu

Went there last Tuesday night. Everything was clean, the staffs were super friendly. Especially Cindy, the lady was amazing. She patiently answered all the questions we had, and cheered when we managed to win some of the prizes. With that said, we left with wonderful memories and experience.

Place is spacious and was fun for the kid. Games are expensive as are the prizes. Miss Zena was great and provided wonderful service. The food is OK, what is expected at this type a joint. Overall, a decent place to spend a day.

Extremly loud. Very expensive. Had to buy a card to play games, then had to pay to activate the card on top of that. Some games took the card but would not work. Complained to desk clerk, but was told nothing they could do, no credit or refunds. Not worth going to this place.

It's great when you go in the morning and it's not too busy. The food is usually really good too, sometimes the service isn't great but overall one of our favorite places to go. Fun games and prizes!

Great time! Awesome security staff is the best! Polite and professional. I felt safe and everyone enjoyed the games. I want to come back for karaoke!

Kind of expensive. We bowled a few games which was not bad except the bumper came on about halfway through and the boxes to turn them on were not checked. Went to the arcade afterwards and that left a lot to be desired. Experienced multiple games either out of order or took your credit but weren't working properly. Overall we had fun and made the most of the time but spent a lot of money on over priced broken machines.

I was asked for State Id at the door! I wasn't at an airport and certainly wasn't drinking so why?? I called in advance to see what the wait time would be for bowling ( I called from another bowling alley who had an hour wait, I was provided a time frame of 30 minute wait, I drove over immediately to be told the wait time was an hour! I expressed disappointment and expressed that I was dissatisfied and asked for a discount, I was told no and my only option was to pay an extra $6 if I didn't want to wait! I

The game selections and prizes are pretty average, the bowling alley is fun with a little game every 30 minutes I think? As well as the bar/food counter is a nice touch with the dollar ice creams.

If you are bringing your whole family this place is a lot of fun. Plenty of arcade games from classic to the latest pop anime style games, quite a few pool tables & bowling. 2 floors full of cheesy fun. Located on the far left end of the Park Mall if you were facing the main entrance. Plenty of parking. My only complaint would be the cost of the cheesy games and the rewards are not worth the exchange, however the fun meter and watching your kids have a blast is the whole point. Depending on the time o

I would have had a great time if not for the rude and terrible service their employee Amanda gave me and my boyfriend. Her attitude was terrible. She should not be working in customer service

I've been coming to this round 1 for a few years and always thought it was fun but last night it really just felt like one huge waste. Before anyone comes for me about being a sore loser or ?skill issue? or whatever - Its not my first rodeo I get what the business model of this place is ok? But I USED to come to this location and get a pretty good sized prize haul for the largest amount of credits you can get at least. I KNOW spending a lot of round 1 is a given but last night I spent $120ish on credits and

I love it here! It's so fun. They have so many arcade games. The prizes you can get from the tickets are awesome. The employees are sometimes nice, anyway the food is good and it's a fun place. Like it here.

I love round 1, and today was especially amazing because of Dale. Despite being the only person on the floor, he was so prompt, super knowledgeable, and most importantly so pleasant to interact with. Dale, thank you for a great experience. Round 1 just got better for me because of how Dale treats his customers. Thank you again, and I'll definitely be back! The claws aren't rigged. Btw.

Round 1 Arcade is an absolute blast! We always have a fantastic time, especially with the crane games. Somehow, we've become experts at them and end up winning a lot of prizes, which adds an extra layer of excitement to our visits. This place is perfect for both family outings and date nights. There's a wide range of activities to enjoy, from billiards and bowling to a vast array of arcade games. The variety ensures that everyone finds something they love, making it an ideal destination for all ages. The

Its a fun place with a lot of neat food options and play options for their arcade games. The bowling is nice as well!

I've never seen so many claw machines in my life. The bowling was good. However, the price for the games is absolutely ridiculous, and for that reason, I will probably never go again

I know most people go for the games and bowling and other activities, but I go for the food and drink. Today I had gyoza, karaage, and white peach sake. For dessert I enjoyed an ice cream cone. Ace is a great bartender -- attentive and flair appropriate for someplace like Round 1. ?? #NomNoms

The carpet is disgusting downstairs and upstairs. They only have one restroom and it's downstairs in the back. The bar doesn't open until noon. Bowling was okay, I do not like the product that you guys have on the bowling balls. And you did not offer spray for the bowling shoes. Food and beverages are outrageously priced. I did love the adult version of Hungry Hungry Hippos.

So I went in last night 8:30-9ish with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. About 45 minutes later I was approached by security and asked to present ID. Understanding their guidelines I would have, but I didn't have it at the time. So he told me I needed to be with someone old enough. I respect the job they do so I did, but it was before 12:00 am and the group I was with contianed younger individuals than myself. The gentleman came out of nowhere which means he was watching for a while as well. I

This arcade is simply amazing. If you like arcades and/ or bowling ...what are you waiting for? If you are going to play a lot of games, I suggest getting the highest cost bundle as it gives you almost double the credits you can get from any package.

Really loved going here since they opened up years ago. Now it's just a money guzzler. I understand that's kinda what you sign up for with an arcade, but at least if you're draining your bank account you're having fun. The new claw machines with the boxes that are basically glued to the rubber bands are not fun at all and are a genuine scam. You can't keep people from winning because then there's no incentive to keep coming back, so we definitely aren't unless friends tell us things changed.

Love this place!!! Very cheap to play/eat/have fun. WAY better than Dave & Busters. They serve alcohol at a 80-90% cheaper price same with food. Their membership is only $6 a year!! You can't go wrong having a day here! $40 gets you hours of play, it's easy to rack up tickets and their prizes are way better than Peter Pipers/Dave & Busters. Plus they have "green pass" which is $6 on week days and $8 on weekends. Which allows you to play the games with the green lights for 1hr without membership and 1 1/2 f

Great for families during the daytime hours, a hangout for evening. Mostly a younger crowd, meaning no one over the age of 30, is there unless you are working. So if you don't want to be around 30 and younger, go before 7p.m.

Claw machines are rigged Machines are too overpriced As a claw machine expert, I give this place a capital R for Rigged, do NOT come here. I'd rather play fallout 3 blindfolded and with a plunger up my ass than come here again, drove all the way from surprise.

If you're looking for fun this is a great place to visit. There are so many activities in one place. You can enjoy arcade games pool bowling and even karaoke. On a recent visit we rented out a party room and sang karaoke we also played our favorite connect four basketball game and won an awesome dinosaur stuffed animal in one of the crane games. Lizzy was very helpful and friendly finding our favorite games and sharing game strategy. They also have drinks and food. Everything in one place.

Very clean, lots of selections, gets very loud and noisy when busy. See videos for a tour, and photos for prices as of today March 11, 2024

I've been to much bigger and better round ones in the US and Japan. For Tucson, I guess it's not bad

Took my grandson bowling the lanes were nice, but the balls were horrible we couldn't find any that our fingers could fit into. Also, the music was way to loud we couldn't have a conversation, no need for it to be that loud.

Was fun time kill for afternoon fairly clean some cool games. Just got the 1 hour unlimited play. While restricted us from prize winning games it was good time

The bar back was polishing all the cups at the bar with a dirty towel that he kept on his shoulder. I couldn't even finish my beer because it grossed me out so bad.

I liked the place, I played mostly bowling. There seems to be an extensive assortment of arcade such as car racing and shooting. I was assigned bowling lane 10 which got stuck several times and granted 20 minutes for the inconvenience. Not bowling savvy but it seemed the bowling balls were all greasy from previous people eating and playing with them. I like that they check for guns with metal detectors at the entrance, which is something downtown clubs should do. I didnt like theres only restrooms in the bo

I drove all the way from Phoenix to surprise my 11 year old who has been wanting to go to this claw machine arcade. She had a great time. Dale was an exceptional employee. We came yesterday June 3. Also I didn't get the names but the workers at the bowling area yesterday are also great. They all went over and beyond and it was worth the drive. We were the first ones in the building.

It was fun and kids loved it - Some staff weren't friendly and the food/drinks were pricey

Cool arcade with lots to do! Keep the card so you can refill it for points to play the various games.

Best place to let your inner kid out

Karaoke room is crap. Background music is so low that you have to whisper in the mic. No bass at all.

Clean, fun atmosphere. I go there to play pinball. They usually only have 4 machines, and most of the time at least one it out of order. The ones that do work, usually one or two of them need serviced because the balls get stuck and you then can't finish your game. They really need to take better care of their pinball machine, or just get new ones.

Had a great time! I used to frequent this location prior to the pandemic, decided to stop by again as I had the spare time and cash. They keep things ridiculously clean, and ensure that crowds don't get out of hand. The staff are still super friendly and helpful despite the extra work I'm sure precautionary measures bring. Hands down my favorite way to spend an afternoon off!

Overly hyped although Tucson definitely needs somewhere to go besides another golf course. We stood in line for 30 minutes for a simple bottle of water - vending machines could have helped here. Staff was running around, but didn't seem to be helping anyone; tables were dirty and you couldn't find anyone to get the games open if prizes were won. The arcade games were a fun blend of old and new, like Galaga, Centipede, and Pac-Man, along with Transformers and The Walking Dead. We tried to bowl but there

For the grown up aka ?big kid?!!! I fell in love when I walked in, New School to Old School, Atari, Pac-Man, Hot Wheels, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Pool Tables, 2 floors !!!! Yaaaassssss! And the Pizza is AMAZING!!!!

Not to happy! Chicken tenders where overcooked, and the tables and floors where dirty. Asked the female working the bar if she could please have someone clean the table I wanted to sit at with my little boy, and she replied with an attitude, sir where trying, we will get to it when we can! After cleaning the table it was still very dirty. I was very disappointed! Especially in a time where everything is so expensive, you would expect to eat in a clean establishment and eat quality food, not a bunch of em

Very busy had 1hour for bowling wait forces you to spend more there no way to add additional time on the bowling since it's waitliste unless you buy ahead ..its like they are holding a sing " Just don't bowling here! "

The food was good and reasonably priced. Their bowling was very fun and they have lots of games.

Claw machines are the worst rigged ones I've ever seen in my life, and I've been to the boardwalk. Complete waste of time and money. Do not come here if you enjoy claw machines. Update: this place can suck an egg

The food is actually really good. The games are fun. Best arcade for kids and adults in Tucson imo. The only thing that it lacks is that the bowling isn't great. Don't bowl here. It's the only place in the mall that serves alcohol other than the restaurant outside and the wine store that sells spirits, obviously.

Awesome selection of games. Very fun atmosphere with great prizes available to win. Slightly on the expensive side because for 50 dollars i got 200 points and each game is anywhere from 8 points to 16 points but still had a blast

I really enjoy this place!! You have food (it's good for bowling food), arcades, bowling, pool tables, alcohol, and karaoke! There's a wide variety of games to play, a great place to take the kids to. Great place to hang out with friends. The karaoke rooms are HUGE!! Good prices and the staff are really nice. The bathrooms are ALWAYS kept cleaned! It's also conveniently located!

Too expensive. Wouldve cost me and my boys $90 to bowl & do video games, who can afford this? Crazy....we didnt stay

Loved it. Clean and lots of games! Unfortunately a few of the machines I was hoping to play were busted (time crisis), but otherwise a great time!

Really fun place to play. The prizes are a little highly priced but it's still fun. The food is somewhat expensive but it's not bad.

Awesome place ! Lover of all the games they got ! Always coming here

Middle of the day and they ran out of burgers and pizza. 3 months later returned and they were out of chicken wings and have no condiments for burgers. The manager was very rude and seemed unstable when questioned. Tables were dirty. The kids cards for the birthday party did not work half the time on machines they were supposed to, very sad. Below is what a condiments tray looks like, maybe they will learn something.

Place is alright. Too packed, too over priced, and something is not working always. Also, there should be better security, dudes act like they're securing a bank. If security was a bit nicer and more professional, you'd get more customers.

It's a really nice arcade, for being a mall arcade. The games are all refreshing and nostalgic. The staff is nice and helpful with concerns. Food and drink is decently priced. Worth going.

This place is huge my first time there and it was lots of fun. Many different things to do for every age group in your family. The food they have a bar and lots to offer to go. Food or fast food was good

i normally really love this place but i had a very awful experience when i went in the last time. my friends and i wanted to do karaoke and went in around 9:30 at night. they told us it would be about a 2 hour wait and we decided to stay and wait. about 30 minutes later, my friends received a phone call asking if we were still interested in staying for karaoke and just updating us on the wait time. after our 2 hours pass, i went back to the game counter to ask for an update. the man then told me that they t

Round one games and bowling is a scam! They couldn't give us two lanes after we waited 2 hours. We got one and the entire time 4 lanes were open, they do this on purpose so you can buy the party pack with a cost of $25 to $35 per person. We stayed there for 5 hours. Bowling games, pins are rigged. Food is very expensive, customer service is slow and they give you the wrong info.

It's ok but most games weren't working properly and service was horrible. Staff isn't friendly. Won't be going back. I'll drive to Phoenix to enjoy a place like this. Spent $450 for my kiddos and I, you'd figure with the amount you spend they would have attentive staff. The place wasn't busy so I couldn't understand why the staff wasn't available for 20 to 30 mins. Food was burnt from old oil and the bar drinks are watered down. Ideal place for parents with children, if the games are working. Pool tables ar

We had our daughter's birthday here. It was outstanding! The pizza was really good and it was so easy to plan and keep all the kids entertained.

Damn it's so expensive now I finished 30$ worth of credits in less then 20 min. Why is everything 12 credits?!

Me and my fiance go once a week. You can't beat the 8 dollar an hour unlimited plays.

Went yesterday and had the greatest customer service from Miguel! He came in clutch for us and made sure we were taken care of with all the claw machines! Thank you man! We appreciate your service and I hope that you are doing well!

Great prices and friendly staff. They were attentive and constantly helped restock prize winnings. The crane machines are actually very fair and it's common to win plushies or figurines. Food and drink were also priced very fair as well.

march 15th, 2020 this place let me and my buds wear costumes as long as we showed our faces to the camera in case we did anything. we also know that other round 1 locations around the US allow them. Today I called in and asked for a supervisor. Lady on the phone said she can help us. I asked if we could wear the costumes as long as we showed our face to the camera and she said yes. We showed up and showed our faces and all was well. We went downstairs and bought cards and all was well. After several games s

Not a bad place for entertaining. There are a couple small party rooms for a more intimate/private hangout, plenty of distractions from bowling to claw games. It feels a little overwhelming with just the shear volume of activities available, but at the same time so many fun things to do.

Food is good had some fried balls they are amazing and with Cajun fries great food. Games are ok could use more games and less claw machines.

My son and I went for a little while, and we did have fun, but the games were so expensive we didn't play for long.

I love round one. Best arcade and bowling in Tucson. Also did I mention they give u a prize of you get a turkey.

Over all great but food n drinks are super hit or miss.

Celebrated our granddaughters 5th birthday we had a lot if fun.

Very clean, but also very expensive to bring family to play games. Unreal!

Kind of a pricy place but totally worth it. They have the light up bowling lanes here. It's super fun and unique.

Took our 20 something nieces here for a birthday and we all had a blast. Prices are competitive with other arcade themed businesses in the area and they have a full bowling alley, a bar and karaoke rooms. We played many games, some are more worth it than others. My nieces love the mini claw machines and won many prizes. My niece had a free karaoke session available as she has a membership so we had a blast in a private room singing karaoke. They use an app with your phone and the words are on a big screen

My kid loves this place. Also food is reasonly priced and made to order.

Took my 14 year old son and a few few for his birthday. They had a great time.

The staff was very nice and helpful. They all maintained great composure as this place was hopping with patrons. A party bus got dropped off during our visit and the staff handled it like pros. We had a great time bowling and the food was very tasty. 2/2/24 3:00p-6:00p staff deserve props for a 10 star experience!

Great place to take the Family for fun and entertainment and to get the kids energy out????????

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
