Customer Reviews

Nice bowling alley located in a mall. Plenty of lanes available. The facility is very clean. The hours of operation are great. Compared to other alleys in town. The only thing missing is the charm of a smaller local facility. This place has a kinda of a cold vibe. If you are bringing your own equipment. It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the playing area upstairs.

We had a blast here!, Brought my girlfriend over Memorial Day weekend and the atmosphere was great and the staff were very nice and helpful. Came back the following weekend with the family for her birthday, the new manager Hannah was very friendly and nice to our niece. All in all a great experience.

Good food at a reasonnable price. Ice cream only 1$ and soft drinks at 5$ comes with unlimited free refils. Employees always doing their best. Will and his team were amazing. Security staff were very professionnal. We enjoyed our evening and will come back.

My husband and me love going to round one and this one on specific is super special to us because our favorite YouTubers arcade rising makes videos here, we went last night at 11 and almost every machine was on payout or near payout. Which is super rare considering how the other locations we have been to has made payout like 100 credits about. Staff was super friendly and attentive, will be coming here again some day when we can.

Most of the staff is very nice. Everyone was super accommodating and helpful. One girl working at the bowling desk was super rude. We went on a Sunday where prices are cheaper than Saturdays. Mid way through standing in line she decides to change the prices to Saturday. I asked her why and she said because it's memorial weekend and Monday is considered to be Sunday. That makes no sense. What day did it say on the calendar? SUNDAY. She had a super rude attitude speaking to me. I was baffled by the disrespect

Had my daughters birthday party last Saturday. They sat us in the dining room (weird because they have party rooms). The games are dumb unless you buy more "rainbow" credit cards. The food is ok, not great. The kids were bored. The package came with "timer" games. They had 2 hours. They didn't have many games they could play. Pretty much car racing games or shooting games. We paid extra for bowling (extremely overpriced). The staff was great but that's about it. Incredibly overpriced. My kids said "we shoul

Nice place to have some fun! Been coming here for years continuously. Had a machine glitch once or twice and stop working, one of the employees named Hannah came over, opened the machine up, adjusted a couple things, and the thing was working seconds later! I was able to keep playing and won the big prize for the wife! Hannah was very nice and helpful!

It's a cool arcade! Lots of fun claw machines, especially the ones imported from Japan! Similar to D&B but with claw machines added! The prizes are nice but you also need a lot of tickets to get anything decent. -It is quite pricey, so beware. Not bad to fill up the card, but once you see how many points it is to play one game or claw machine, it's quite shocking. -They check ID after 9:30pm for 18+ then I believe again after 10/10:30pm for 21+.

Super expensive. Not worth it. Food is expensive and not worth it either. The food itself isn't worth the money you pay for it. You're better off going to the local arcade down the street. It's cheaper and you'll have more fun. Also A lot of the machines/ games for adults don't work half the time. This is mainly for kids under 10? Dave and busters and main event is better. Also who the f uses a dog chew Toy (Kong) as part of a game? That's wild and lazy. Do better Plus management treats their female em

This is a place for everyone! You can take your whole family there and be sure that they would enjoy at least one (if not more) of their activities. If you are planning on playing in the arcade area, go ahead to the customer-service area and purchase a game card, you could also get it easy from the kiosk, as you will need this card to swipe and play. We love their claw-machine (which we found it to be so much easier to win than the one in Asia, rip), if you stay there long enough on a good day, you will f

My brother came in from NC and we decided to hangout at round 1. What a blast, with their 8$ mon-fri hour play card, and almost endless amount of games you can play, we had so much fun and we were able to spend quality time doing what we love. Also, was met with great professionalism from a manager named Hannah when buying our cards. She gave us get information and didn't lead us astray. 10/10 day at round 1.

Ive been to arcade before, but not one with so many broken games. Broken game after broken game after broken game after broken game. Lower level has Japanese games that I cannot read and what seemed to be half of the games upstairs were "ERR". One of the few games I did play was malfunctioning, even though it said it was playable. If you are not up to spending about $2.25 on an arcade game that probably won't work right... Then I would suggest staying away from this place.

Too late for mini golf, so we opted for the arcade. You purchase credits on a card and scan at the game. Many games to choose from and they varied in credits needed. You would win tickets to turn in for normal arcade style prizes. Nice bowling area, refreshment stand and bar as well.

The staff are always so kind and helpful! Outstanding food, drinks are reasonably priced, and the games are SO MUCH FUN! It's always my favorite place to stop in Erie.

First floor Cabinets are always online and have yet to visit with any problems, this location is the most isolated location in the chain, but this is also an added benefit, never queues for machines or pestering onlookers at rhythm games. The second floor consists of all the ticket games and UFO catchers, though their stock does not rotate often, which can be rather disappointing when making multiple visits. It has the necessities for our needs and is a reliable location we can depend on.

The staff are REALLY nice and helpful, but the claw machines are rigged to be significantly harder here than other round1 locations I've visited. The plushie machines are almost all set up with the yellow token (all but 3) where you HAVE to hit the machine payout in order to win the prize. The skill based machines are also set up to be more difficult. It is difficult to explain if you aren't very familiar with the skill game set ups, so you'll have to trust me on this one. I even found a few machines that

Went last year and had a good time with my kids. Claw machine were winnable. This year went back and every claw machine is so rigged with the round stuffed discs you have to drop in that it's too loose to grab anything. It picks up and drops it before it can be won. Needless to say wasted a lot of money trying to win prizes that are set to only win every 1/15 times. Extremely discouraging and not likely to go back

Went to counter to get a drink with my wife. Completely ignored by 4 staff members talking behind the counter. I moved over to the next register only to be ignored again. Horrible staff. On vacation and very disappointed in the zero level of service we received.

I've been to a few round one's at this point and erie has been my favorite location. It's quiet the machines are usually pretty stocked and the staff are friendly. However as a avid Dance aRound player I see kids all the time smacking on the screen ??.. I wish there were more ways to prevent damage.

Have always wanted to go here. Amazing time. Spent hours there. The prize counter was great. 100% would reccomend.

Never try the claw machines, the claw drops whatever you get once it gets to the top even with a seemingly perfect hold. Update: Got 2 stuffed toys after $100. Bumping my review up a star.

I've given myself a week or so to think this over so I wasn't too critical but the more I thought about it I felt something needed to be noted...I booked a party for 50 +/- people. I gave them a month's notice for this party size. I called and gave them a final court a week before our reserved date. When we arrived the party room that was assigned to us was taken up by another group. We were told we would have a pizza buffet but they could only supply 1 pizza at a time and it was taken by our attendees prio

Antoine was fantastic!!!! He had the best personality ever! So helpful and amazing! Met Hannah and she was so nice as well!!!

Great Spot! SEVERAL OPTIONS OF ENJOYMENT!! Variety throughout! Games, Bowling, food, pool, Bar, and Did I SAY GAMES? PRICES R A LITTLE HIGHER THEN COMPETITION BUT U GET MORE!

Please bowl anywhere but here. We bowled 2 games. Just 2. We bought 2 lanes, one game per lane. WHY WAS IT $70 FOR 2 LANES AND 2 GAMES? To add onto that, the employee did not count correctly. There were 9 of us, but he counted 8, so my girlfriend had to pay ANOTHER $16 to add an additional person to one of the lanes. At midnight, we had to leave due to the fact that this place has a bar. Since my girlfriend paid for an additional game technically, we had 2 games on one lane instead of just 1 game. We only h

Had a great time here. They have 2 Dance Dance Revolution machines which was awesome. My 24 bucks lasted me a little less than 2 hours playing DDR, skee ball, pinball, and a few other games. The giant size Galaga game was cool.

$90 to bowl two games with my two kids and my wife. Every pair of size 13 bowling shoes had the heel ripped off the back. Also the computer doesn't keep very good score at all. Ripoff wouldn't come back for free.

Place is pretty big and the games are fun. Don't waste your time on the claw or skill games. I've been to other round 1s and this one is horrible. Could only win on the tiny claw games (4 plush). Compare that to the one in Mentor where I spent the same amount and left with 4 figures 2 small plush and one big plush.

if i could give them 0 stars i would. spent $300 on the arcade card to get to play 1-2 hours and the machine kept saying ?can't read card, enter again? 10 minutes later it says im out of points. i played actually 7 games (9 points each time) i had 800 points. i ask what was going on and they said it was my fault since i kept entering the card but it was literally telling me to. obviously the card read if it took my points but didn't let me play. the manager didn't help at all and was extremely rude. ruined

Used to be a blast with the skill games from japan, but now they are all extremely rigged and just claw games. No longer the fun gimmicks with dice, pushing or others. Update: We decided to go back and check it out and it was fun to see the new stuff, but we tried one of the skill games and should have won twice but it wasn't strong enough. When we asked the manager, they purposely missed to not fix the issue. Was rude and said sorry too bad. Was hoping for a better time but guess not with the rude staff

My girlfriend and I had our first date at Round 1 four years ago. The variety of games, claws, and things to do here has made Round 1 a favorite and regular date night spot. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the prizes are great. I do wish the games were a little cheaper, but it is still a great place to have a date night, night out with friends, or even just to play pool and have a beer!

Fun place but we spent $60 in games in 40 minutes as the guy at the counter convinced us that the point cards were a better deal than the "all you can play" cards... I feel that we got ripped off. They have ice cream for 99c, but were out of cones. They had beer and wine specials but since there was no place to put our coats and bags, we took them back to the car. We didn't have ID so we couldn't buy anything. We've been legal age for around 30 years and I don't usually carry my ID in my pocket. We lef

This place is awesome!! My kids and I loved it. The only thing that could improve is the food. It's a little expensive, and the menu is very small.

Located in a shopping mall. Two floors barcade and bowling alley. Tons of games. Virtual tickets, drinks, music and even a prize shop. $2 to buy/activate your gaming card then just load with $$ and play away. Open till 2am nightly!

Gotten much better with staff and prizes!

Great time, won so many plushies, also save points for next time too

So when I showed up on the bottom floor I was like is this really it? But then I went up the stairs and I saw tons of games and claw machines. Though I grabbed one of the toys with the claw the dumb thing let go and I got so mad. I wanted that angry cat stuffed toy ??. Besides that my brother and I played the initial D game because he's obsessed with the anime and though I suck at drifting and kept crashing into the walls I had a great time. Also we played dance revolution and I sucked so bad and got really

We're up here visiting family for the holidays and to celebrate our son's 9th birthday. We got the card, swiped games kept track of total tickets earned due to a previous bad experience before, and yet again it happened. I brought it up to the young man at the counter who was friendly and helpful to call the manager, a woman who seemed bothered with and attitude right off the back. I just informed them of the cituation and constant attitude. She said where's my proof. She expected me to rake a picture

So much to play so much to do..I loved this place can yall please bring one down to Pittsburgh..the wife & i had so much fun

Thank you Will and the whole team for the excellent service you provided!!! We had a great time having fun!!!

Poorly operated, most machines do not work, employees can not be found, way too expensive and dirty.

I've never had a bad time at Round 1 and decided to have my son's birthday here. I have to say, it was such a great turn out and made for an awesome party. Bowling was fun, loved the glow bowling lights & arcade games. The party room was cool/spacious, food was good, and awesome customer service. Thanks for accommodating & making it a special time! We will be back again.

It was an awesome experience. We walked in and BOOM it opened into a full arcade, with an elevator, and escalator that went to another level full of arcades and a full bowling ally. They offer food, drinks, and a variety of snacks. If you have children, or feel like being a kid, this is a place to go.

Checked out with Matty! He was so sweet and helpful and awesome!

Thank you for the great service, best bartender evarrrre @zion

I get it, they just opened, but the service is so slow in the bar and restaurant area. You have to stand in line like a check out lane for a drink at the bar or table area. You have to get up and walk back into a slow lane each time. Also, they wont let you tip on your credit card, cash only tips. I felt bad for the bartender because I never carry cash, only credit cards. Pizza crust was great, but there is NO Cheese on the pizza (okay, a few sprinkels). I hope they get their processes down soon. I'l

So I came to this place for bowling only but I ended up having a nice chat with a manager there will. He talked up the arcade and how fun the games and prizes were? spent 50 bucks and played a bunch of games with my girlfriend and will be coming back up to get more points for prizes!

Very clean, modern, nice. Great atmosphere. Workers friendly. $106 for 2 lanes, with 4 people each, for 1 hour, is kind of insane though. Probably won't come back because of the price. Didn't play in the arcade, just bowled.

Round one is an amazing place l. I live over two 2 hours from here, but sometimes I like to drive all the way over here to play the rythem games and claw machines. They have a huge selection of all sorts of games. If you're looking for Japanese import games, round 1 is I wonderful place to play some. They have a bar and some food with pinball machines next to it. If you're looking for some fun, round 1 is the place for it!

Staff attitude is hit/miss, but this place is a blast! Expensive though, so be prepared to invest a decent amount into the points card. Some machines are out of service and need to be fixed. That's a bummer, but definitely makes for a fun evening.

It's a fun experience but the claw machines are a payout system rather than skill-based. There's a certain amount of times the machine must be played before it's paid out which I find to be unfair. Some of the arcade games were broken and you need a bunch of tickets to get a decent prize. They also are very strict with the amount of tickets and prizes; say you have 137 tickets but the prize you want is 140, they won't allow you to claim it. I get it's not enough to redeem but 3 tickets away is not much of a

Super expensive. Food isn't great. Workers have no customer service.

Dave and Busters is much better playing experience than this place. I ended up paying a lot of money for very short amount of paying times for each card. Even my boys were commenting how expensive it was, and they are in elementary school! Wow. At least it was worth paying to witness them exclaiming this fact.

Used to go all the time now machines are too rigged to win anything.

Very inappropriate things being shown on the tv in a place for kids. Never again!

This place was very fun. It did feel like some of the games were overly expensive but other than that it is great. A very jack of all trades entertainment venue. They had pool, bowling, a vast array of arcade games, claw machines, a bar. And it's handicap accessible, there are 2 floors but there are stairs, escalators, and an elevator. I wish we had a place like this where I live! My fiancee really enjoyed the first floor BB target game - the accuracy of the guns was really good. The only downfall was som

Went as a group for a Bachelorette party. Was not aware we had to have ID to come in after 10pm. Come on its a arcade. They let us all in though but the ones who had a ID had to walk around with the ones without ID'S. Pretty much act like babysitters. We all was 25 or older. This is ridiculous. What are they afraid is going to happen to them? There is a lady behind the counter who is very rude and takes her job way to serious. She went out of her way to watch us and harass us. They need to fire her. We was

Great place. Very clean. Has a lot of games! Workers there are very accommodating. Will play here again in a heart beat. Great claw machines.

Bowling is great but the games are way too expensive same games are always broken and out of the same foods all the time! And the 25+ rule after midnight is stupid since it's 21 to drink alcohol

This place is SO much fun! Hours of entertainment between the bowling lanes, 2 floors of arcade games, pool tables, karaoke, party rooms, a bar, good food.. I could go on! They even have "after hours" for adults only. I've been here two years in a row and will go back every time we visit Erie! My family loves this place.

Been going here basically for several years now. Never had one issue with the place. Staff are friendly and the imported games are great, since most other arcades don't usually have the new ones. If you go here a few times a month, I would suggest getting the digital membership.

Checked out with Matty he was awesome!

Nice place, just a bit pricey

A lot of games, but it is really pricey. That said way better than Chuck e cheese and there are cheap beers for while the kids play.

Absolute blast! Our family had spent hours playing so many games. The workers were so helpful and courteous but the one downer was the bathrooms were not all that clean.

Really awesome atmosphere! The place is much larger than it seems from the outside. Lots of game options and the bowling is really fun. The place is very clean and it's very kid friendly. The noise may be a little loud for small ears but I took my 3 year old here and she loved it. The bowling lanes have bumper options and those plastic bowl-assist things. The food is also pretty good, the wings especially! The price is on the high end but I think you really get what you pay for. Definitely a great place for

Went here with my wife, kids, brother and his family. We're all people of color. Let's just say the security guard kept making his way to us. He was cool, you can tell he was doing what management tell him to do. Just found that suspicious.

When walking in we got stopped by security and had to get checked by metal detectors, the alcoholic beverages were pretty expensive and they do close bowling early. Was expecting to stay till 2 am and they closed it at 1. Games were pretty expensive and the whole first floor and half of the second none of the games had any English. Everything was pretty expensive but we had fun.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had so much fun when we went. Exceeded our expectations. Will definitely go back. Only downfall was it was a bit expensive. Update 2023: Customer service is terrible it is very hard to find someone to help. It also takes them a very long time to reset machines. Such a shame I used to always have fun when I went.

There isn't another experience like it anywhere near here. Tons of games to choose from, nice open lay out, bathrooms are usually well maintained (some days better than others). It is pricey, but worth it. We always have a fantastic time here. Cheap drinks, ok food (it's an arcade, not a restaurant y'all). Bowling is expensive though. We go elsewhere for that. I'd definitely recommend visiting here for a fun evening.

It has a good selection of games but it's quite expensive to play. $2.50 -$3.00 per play is a bit overpriced. On the coin pusher games, payouts for tickets are quite low compared to other arcades.

Pretty fun place to spend a day. There are a lot of imported Japanese games to play, and I was having fun with some of them. Not a bad price, either.

The prices are insane. I really love arcades. It's really just a reality check going from playing at Aces where it's only 50 cents to play most games. Compare this to the average game at round one costing 2.25. That's just the average. The claw machines cost like 3.50 which happen to be the games I like playing. I burned through $40 on keymaster in 10 mins. It's just not fun when my money gets me like 5 games. Let me reiterate $3.50 FOR A SINGLE PLAY!!! How is anyone ok with this. Is it to much to ask to

We had a good time while out celebrating my son's birthday. Tons of different games to choose from, keeping us busy. My only complaint is how expensive it is. It really adds up quickly, and you won't do a whole lot of games unless you get a ton of tokens.

Was amazing and my son had a blast!

Round one seemed like a fun place and a cool addition to Erie. After going there for a night of bowling and drinks I would not recommend this establishment. I usually do not give bad reviews however the employees at round one made the night more difficult then it needed to be. Five people paid for two games and after the first game one of the bowlers accidentally knocked over one of the beers. One of the employees came over to clean up the spill and asked us to move over the next lane, which we had no probl

Went with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. I'd never been to an arcade before but I had a great time! A couple of the machines had finicky controls that didn't work quite right but still a really good time

I was so sad to see so many negative reviews for this Round 1. My family and I enjoy the place a lot. Good selection of games and prizes. Anything Erie Mall related has always been price-y but with it being a brand arcade, too, we expected that. We've done bowling, the ticket games, and the crane games and had a blast! I saw the reviews for the cranes and I'd like to say they have a variety in both American claw and Japanese UFO which are skilled based; my family and I have both won prizes from the machines

It was ok. I usually go to the one back home in Mentor, OH. This one is much smaller and the games cost more to play. I thought it cool that it was 2 levels but it wasn't all that great. Coming from a place of bias, I was a little disappointed. If you want to kill some time while on a date or whatever, this might be an option.

Way better than Dave & Busters all around. Literally spent hours here having fun. You don't need to go anywhere else. They have everything here. Arcade games, bowling, karaoke, a bar, and sit down food to mention a few. Food was exceptional too for an entertainment center. Definitely returning again!

First time and loved it. It has 2 floors with lots of games, food/bar and bowling alley. The games are pricey, my son spent $40 which had 200 points and used it in 30 minutes. However the games are nice, huge, and different so i guess thats why the games were so expensive. Very very fun ..we plan to go again

Great arcade to take my child. He loves it.

All in all it's a pretty good place. The big claw machines are easy to win as long as you know what you're doing. I've already got like, 7 big stuffed animals. The games are all pretty good and if you like music games then the Japanese games are for you. The staff is also all pretty good! Nick at the bar is always extremely helpful as is Keenan at bowling. All in all, good place!

We bowled here, and the bowling was fine. Lanes are nice, everything was clean. Staff were ok. It's very loud and crowded in here. And it's very expensive. Never paid this much to bowl. But it is open all day and until 2 a.m. every day.

Round 1 was a huge waste of time. I would rather stay home at spend 40 bucks on literally anything else. Waste of money and time. Won't get that hour back. Games are impossible and the customer service was so trash. Food sucked and place was so nasty. Don't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Expensive place 40$ gets you 20 minutes of games. I put a drink down to take an important phone call was gone for at most 3 mins. They threw my drink away. Said can't get a refund for my drink. Or a refund for the money on my card. Manager wouldn't give me his name or information on how to get ahold of his supervisor. I will never give them any money again. There is much better places that are cheaper with better customer service.

Always so much fun I love going there. The new airport game is AMAZING I'm 31 and have an 8 yr old love the place but since that go that it's a game changer. Pun intended.

Wonderful time at Round one! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We were celebrating my friend who is getting married and we had a great time. If you like karaoke, you won't regret going to round one to sing! It entertained us for hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?
