Customer Reviews

Always love going here for a day of arcade fun - a few years ago their claw machines were far above and any other place, but it looks like the world has caught up to this location now 95% of the claw machines are impossible to win anything and the smaller machines just lack choices and most of the prizes are the exact same in a row. Sadly not sure I will return to this location or round 1.

Family had a great time. Good food and great arcade plus bowling

I had fun but this place was dirty. I tried to get a video of everything up close but I didn't want to record people without their permission. The trash can was so full that trash was spilling out. The soda area had random dirty cups everywhere. The food area had one kind guy that was working that area alone. He did the best he could but someone else should have been back there with him. Some of the arcade machines were broken. I tried playing one game (piano game) a few times before I realized it was charg

Pretty fun. Pizza is worse than Chuck E Cheese though. It's pretty bad. Please get a real pizza oven. Games are mostly the kind where you win prizes. Your money goes away quickly here.

I took my niece and nephew here and they had a blast! The attendant (Rigs?) Was such a huge help and was happy to help! The games were varied, the place was clean and the prizes were terrific! We will definitely go again!

Where Fun Knows No Bounds If you're on the hunt for an all-encompassing entertainment destination, look no further than Round 1. This place is a veritable playground for thrill-seekers of all ages, offering a plethora of activities guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours on end. Whether you're in the mood for some friendly competition on the lanes, belting out your favorite tunes in the karaoke rooms, or honing your skills at billiards, Round 1 has something for everyone. It's the ultimate one-stop-s

A great place to spend your day at the location. Greta parking space since it is in mall. Food selections are good , can do beer at the bowling alley. Lot of arcade game selection and suitable for various age. Clean , well maintained gaming area.

First time ever, and we had a blast. This place is full of fun things to do, no boredom here! $36 card is 180 credits, and a $55 card is 300 credits. 180 credits were plenty for each of us to have. They also do family events, birthdays, of course, corporate, and school events. I bet this would be good for any social group to enjoy. You don't believe me? Then check it out for yourself. Oh, and have fun!

Second time in as many trips where they take your money but technical issues prevent the games or cards from actually working. No refund available either. Customer service pointing to a system outage but didn't bother to tell customers prior to having you pay and wasting time trying to get games to work. Won't be returning.

I loved it. I had 2 of my favorite memories there. I will cherish them forever.

The vibe here is amazing , if you have a small child make sure they wear noise reduction headphones. Overall my kids had so much fun . The staff here was active and polite, they were definitely working hard to keep the place tidy.

Large acade located in Exton Square Mall. You can enjoy bowling, food, Darts and more. We really liked the self serve kiosk for the arcade cards and found the redemption center different and fun which was also self serve until you're ready to check out. Could easily spend a few hours here. Additional bonus $ amounts for each card level too. We went home with a narwhal plush!

It's ridiculously expensive. Don't take your kids here unless they fully understand the word no. It's absurd, 130 bucks for 2 kids, less than an hour. If they're trying to teach kids about usury and what capitalism shouldn't be, mission accomplished.

Had a blast, first time here for my family and I!! We had so much fun, wish the games were a little cheaper per credit. A family of 3 could really hurt your pockets if you don't go in with a budget. But great fun none the less.

We always have a nice time here. On this last visit we went to the desk instead of the kiosk and realized they have an hour of play deal. We purchased a card for $8 ($10 weekends and holidays) to play all of the "green" games for 1 hr. This included most of the riding/driving games, the shooting games, and pinball. Anything that doesn't accrue tickets or prizes (claw). There is a 90 second pause between swipes. We definitely got our money's worth. This would be great for a parent on a budget.

I don't know what some of these reviews are on about because the claw machines are pretty easy they're definitely not impossible if you know what you're doing anyways the staff was super nice one of my prizes got stuck and one of the people working they're helped me get it out which was super cool (sorry I don't know ur name lol) besides that this place is really nice for a day trip or day outing

Pretty fun and easy to get into and play with friends and family. Reasonably priced and accessible. Big negative is there is pretty much no hand sanitizer stations at all around the establishment. Would highly recommend bringing your own or face mask if you are concerned about germs.

Had an amazing time! Really surprised by the negative reviews as I found it to be clean and really fun. We made $50 worth of credits last for 2 hours and came out with over 1,000 tickets. Will definitely be back.

Round1 is an absolute blast! It's a huge arcade with tons of entertainment options, from classic arcade games to bowling, and everything in between. Almost all of the arcade games are fully functional, and if there's ever an issue?like a game eating my credits or not dispensing the right equipment?talking to the staff quickly gets things sorted out. They always refund my credits with no hassle, which makes for a super stress-free experience. The bowling is a lot of fun, though it can be a bit pricey, but yo

not a fan of the E-Claws, some of the UFOs were just not winnable, games were not set up correctly

had a good time with the family chilled spot ??

Came here with a friend just last week, and blue card reader games worked. Hour pass cards stopped working on games that have been working for the past couple of years. They claimed that it was a "bug that let you use blue readers" (even though it worked for years). Got a refund, but the manager then proceeded to take our cards, deactivate them, and then proceed to refuse to give them back. I'd give 0 stars if I could, never coming here again.

Horrible experience, more than half the crane games (which were filled but had no signs indicating coming soon) were down. Associates were helpful but unwilling to offer any level of customer appeasement. Drove over an hour to get here, very disappointed. Did not expect a refund or for cranes to be turned on, as manager informed us multiple times they wouldn't be doing that. Understand corporate policy but incredibly disappointed by handling of situation. Do not give your money to here before checking all m

What a disappointment. Waited 20 minutes to get a drink, thinking they had $3.99 moscow mules, as advertised on their website, nope. I ended up getting a piss warm glass of box wine. Place is filthy, 30% of games broken, empty claw machines, ridiculously high prices, games taking your tokens. Hour wait for a pool table, 2 hour wait for bowling. Unfortunately, this place has fell into the ?not enough staff, too much business? black hole. More money coming in than going out.

It was fun had a huge selection of games crane arcade riding shooting basketball? Has bowling alley pool hall also ping pong tables it's literally huge and have good prices and serves alcohol and the food was actually good for an arcade place

Very fun, great atmosphere with lots to do. A bit if a step up from dave and Busters with bowling and table tennis. Great place to grab a drink with friends and celebrate with a group of friends.

What's the best way to blow a hundred bucks? Round One ?? Lots of fun games and claw machines, and prizes are pretty reasonable. And you can have a beer while the kids spend all your money.

Fun place to hang out with friends or go on dates! They're open late and have plenty of things to do. Some games are only in Japanese so you'll have to guess what to do but still fun. The ufo catcher games have gotten more difficult but the plushies are adorable! Items from the prize room are also super cute!

Staff are friendly, it's kept clean, the games work 95%+ of the time. Have a good time.

Enjoyed the play area. For around the price of bowling for 2 people you got to do sports activities & free game area (that's showing their ages ex: DDR/musica are no longer connected/3 yrs older then what is out on the floor already. We really enjoyed the 10 pins!

The hours and location of Round1 are the only 2 things this place has going for it. For the number of machines (functioning ones) it is ridiculously overpriced! The ticket counter is also a joke and if you're stuck behind more than one family?it can get packed. They should definitely consider expanding the prize area.

Great night out for some classic fun and games! The lanes were great and they have a ton of games and prize machines to keep you busy for a few hours. There's about 20 lanes or so and even on a Saturday in the summer the wait was only about 30 minutes, which goes by in a flash if you hit up the games.

This is an expensive place to go. It is a great place to waste your money, when there's nothing else to do, especially when you are I'm under age. Crane machines are rigged to only hold items tightly at certain intervals.

Very Disappointing! Got here with my kid to play arcade games, bought a $15 credit (70 points). None of the games lasted for more than 10 seconds. We exhausted all credits in 4 minutes. Each game was for 14 credits - apparently you should be here if you can spend at least $50 per kid. Have been to other places where we can play for 30-45 mins with the same amount of credit and similar games.

Oh, I always have a good experience going there except for the last time because when I went to go order food, I got my food but I didn't get the fries and I know I ordered fries, but then a guy came that worked there and gave them to me for free, which was good, butI don't think the lady heard me correctly or she just screwed up and took my order

I had a birthday party for my son there this past weekend and I DO NOT recommend and was totally disappointed. It was a total mess and it wasn't CHEAP to say the least!! They double booked our party time so we didn't have enough chairs to accommodate all the kids. There was NO party planner to help with party so I was on my own navigating- I personally have never have been there regarding a party before. I had to constantly walk back to the front desk to ask the girl for HELP with everything. Where do we ge

This place is expensive and you can waste 100 bucks within 20 minutes. You and your kids would have more fun and a better chance of winning at the casino. Seriously. And the claw machines are a joke.

We've been coming to this place often, it's usually fun and have plenty of things to do. However, today turned our day of fun into a day of frustration and ignorance. Whoever the manager is, in the red shirt, a bigger guy with a beard, allowed himself to yell, act unprofessionally and angrily towards us, saying that he is short staffed, but it is not our fault. We will not be back to this place.

Round1 is a really cool arcade, they have a huge variety of arcade games to play. Lots of different racing games which I love. There's also bowling, ping-pong, pool tables, darts, and karaoke. They have a bar and a snack bar. The ice cream is only 99 cents which is awesome. I'll definitely be going back again soon.

Had such a fun time!!!!! This place has such a great variety of games I was playing for 7 hours and not once got bored. If you aren't the arcade type they also have bowling and karaoke! I will definitely be back soon! My only complaint is that there were a couple games down that I really wanted to play, but again they had so many other games that it didn't matter! Employees were also incredibly nice and never hesitated to help us

Went here a couple weeks back for my best friend's birthday with a group of friends, we had an awesome time! The claw machines had a great variety and we were able to win several prizes, granted it took many tries for some of them. They had a good selection of games, the drinks and food were good (we had pizzas), and karaoke was also great. The karaoke song selections were a little limited or deceiving in that it'd seem like a song would queue or be added, but wouldn't always actually play, seemed to happen

Round1 Bowling and Arcade Review** If you're looking for a fun way to spend a few hours with friends or family, a Round1 bowling alley paired with an arcade is often the perfect choice. These spots combine friendly competition, nostalgia, and a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained. Here's a general review of both components: Round1 Bowling offers a classic, low-pressure way to engage in friendly competition. Whether you're a seasoned bowler or a beginner, most alleys offer different lanes wi

Round1 is a great family fun center with alot to offer. The place was very clean and spacious. They have Pool tables, arcade games, bowling and karaoke rooms. I took my 2.5 old daughter here for bowling. They have 6lb balls for young children to use with gutter bumpers and rolling ramps. Very clean and offer standard family friendly food (chicken fingers, pizza, etc)

The place itself is alright, but the customer service is terrible. We came up to ask for drinks, and the manager threw the cups at us. We proceeded to ask why we were being yelled at, when we simply wanted drinks. The manager continued yelling and giving us sas like a little girl, throwing the lids at us and the cups. If I could give 0 stars, I would. It's insulting that we were treated like that. I hope the manager is embarrassed.

Always a blast. Highly highly suggest visiting if you are a fan of arcades, good food, good drinks, and or good times!

I keep coming back! I love this place it is so much fun! All the reviews are a bit harsh. Are the games a rip off?? It's an arcade, how do you expect them to make money? I have won prizes each time I've gone. As for the remarks on employees; same crew every time I've been and I have seen nothing but exceptional work ethic. When it's busy here, it's bussyyyyy not enough employees, that is not the workers fault. They are literally running from machines and registers. I have only been treated with respect. In

My friends and I went here last night and we had so much fun! Last night we played arcade games. I left happy because not only did I get a bunch of tickets, but I had enough to get this cat plush! Love it! We also love to do karaoke there! Super fun and a great environment. Love it here!

$40 to $55 for credits now? They think they can keep raising the price and we'll still come. Nah. Not buying arcade anymore. Lower it to $45 and I'll come back.

Employees were great minus the bartender. Has a decent selection of arcade machines but the bowling lanes weren't oiled and I've never seen such blatantly rigged claw machines. I can see this place ranking high for some people if you enjoy the arcade, possibly the food, or billiards but I honestly can't recommend it to anyone else.

It was very overwhelming and overpriced. The people who were there were nice but I do not think I will be going back. I do not recommend. ?Hazel

It didn't really live up to my children's expectations. They were disappointed with the games and the game play set up so unfortunately we will not be returning.

Based off a Japanese arcade through and through a lot of games okay games of chance has karaoke rooms food and beverages I mean what more do you want It's an all-in-one including bowling. Shy have a go-kart race track you pretty much got things covered

I like this place specially for the claw machines i am skilled with them and i just enjoy coming with my family and have a good time the service is nice.

Buyer beware!! They charge you for services you don't actually use!! We've been coming once a month for a few years now and typically have a great time! Usually the staff is friendly and helpful but that was not what we experienced last night. We had one particular staff member who was so extremely rude to us every single time we went to the counter. We had cups for our drinks but I set mine down and it was accidentally tossed by an employee because it was empty. I understand it happens, and appreciated th

Nice place but their rules are strange. There are certain cards that activate certain games and they're all color coded. It's quite confusing. Then the cards are also timed so you have a certain amount of time between each game and you can't activate multiple games simultaneously if, say, you have more than one kid. ?? Nice selection of games though. Especially if your a fan of fighter games, shooters, or racing. Overall it was a nice time but, for me personally, not worth the 30 minute drive.

BEFORE YOU COME, 18+ ONLY ARE ALLOWED AFTER 2PM AND 21+ AFTER 10PM. I took a star off because I did not see that advertised anywhere. It should have been more clear, but it's difficult when there isn't a set website for one location or consistent rules at locations. Despite that, I had a fun time for my birthday doing karaoke with my friends! The karaoke is great because you get your own private room and can do a bunch of different languages of songs. I felt like we had our own little place which was nice

Game selection was varied and staff was great. However, prices were astronomical and crane machines were impossible. Crane machines are supposed to feel challenging?not predatory. Every crane machine we tried had a weak grip on the items we picked up, while many of the items were too heavy to be picked up at all. Go to Gatcha. You'll get more plays for your money and machines are fair.

WARNING: 21+ only after 12am. Nowhere is it stated online, even checking the ?House Rules?, it doesn't state it. Highly disappointing?.

Bowling at Round 1 is not worth it. The cheaply made plastic pins are controlled by strings, which does not allow for accurate play. The balls also feel light, cheap. Staff was nice tho.

A bit crazy and crowded lanes for bowling. Lots of video games and options for group fun. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms wee a mess at 9:30 on a Friday night.

My kids and I really enjoy this place but the last few times we were here the bowling pins are messed up. The machine does not replace them accurately after each frame. They also staple all the stuffed animals in the claw machine to either the bottom of the machine or to the other stuffed animals. So, we are losing interest in going here. And for the price, it's not worth it.

Great time. Went bowling and got all kinds of free swag. Definitely a great place to dapper up.

Great experience, prices are fair for the arcade games. Wish there wasn't so many claws machines.

Not a good experience.Machine stole my credits and i could not play the game. And employees are very weird. One employee was tweaking over a plushy because THEY dropped it and no one noticed, figured someone dropped it, didn't have to turn into a big deal. Wack ahh arcade with crap parking

This place is a is not only a rip off but a bad place to work at watch what you order that's all I'm saying ??

This Round One used to be worth visiting, but it's gone downhill. They don't offer much variety anymore, and there's no adjustment for the claw machines like they used to. A female worker even stopped another employee from adjusting the machine for us and reset it instead of helping. We traveled 2 hours to this Round One for the plushes and figures, but after today, we won't be coming back. They've added a lot of claw machines that rely purely on luck instead of technique, so you have to invest a lot just t

4 out of 5 overall rating is fairly accurate. Place has a lot of arcade machines, a lot of variety. However, playing is expensive, 3-4 dollars a pop, on average. Also they use a card system, meaning that you don't win physical tickets. This takes away from the satisfaction of winning and makes it harder to keep track of the ticket amount

Great place to have fun but unhappy with security?s treatment of a situation that went down. Asked my girlfriend to ?cover up more?because another customer was uncomfortable with her outfit. Made MY girlfriend feel uncomfortable in her own skin and ruined her birthday. I don't think we will be returning to this location in the future.

Just WOW! We got there on a quiet day but a huge place with so much to do, it could keep anyone happy for hours. Everything was clean. Bowling, billiards, ping pong, arcades, claw machines, yummy food and access to drink refills. Great place for lots of fun.

This was my family's first time and it won't be our last. We had so much fun bowling and playing games. We will be back.

I came here for the dance games and this place had an entire section dedicated to step and dance games. Also love the fact that many of their machines are from Japan. The staff were all reall cheerful and nice too! It's a distance from me but I'll be back Edit: 1/31/25 I don't feel safe parking in the back garage anymore because there is ALWAYS MEN LURKING OVER THERE. I wish y'all would put some officers back there because I don't appreciate them walking back and forth to keep an eye on me even when I pa

Had a bad experience last time I went here a few years ago and had just as bad of an experience now. Machines took credits and didn't let us play and employees were weird.

Round one is one of our favorite spots to go, the have all inclusive karaoke rooms so you can have fun with your friends and not random strangers, bowling with shoe rentals, ping pong, darts , pool tables and a very large arcade. We go for days at a time, and most everything is play by the hour. We especially love the fact that they have a military discount which doesn't take 10% off but gives you a few more minutes to have some extra fun! For the parents they also have a bar located next to the snack stan

Fun place with bowling, karaoke, food and nice employees. They keep adding new games and claw machine prizes that are actually cute and licensed (no knock offs). You can also actually win claw machines here and you win a decent amount of times!

Many games broken. Card machines empty. Not very clean. Looks like it's closing

Really a disappointment. This was my first Round1 experience and I was looking forward to it because of how many people hyped it up. We didn't try any food, so I can't say anything about that. Half the place was just gimmicky claw machines. The games the did half didn't work. They worked marked as out of order or anything, you just found out after you spend 4-15 tokens on the game. Overall not a great environment. Wouldn't be back. Go to Dave & Busters instead.

We took our church children there yesterday. They had a good time, and even some of the adults were bowling .

Went there for bowling. There were various ball weights to choose from. It was clean and a family friendly atmosphere. Lots of arcade games, a kareoke booth, and table tennis. The o ly reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that there were no healthy food options on their menu.

you gotta be 21 to play pool after 12 mind you they don't even serve alcohol or have adult only stuff? too expensive don't waste your time here. go to dave and busters!!!!

It is a fun place to bring the entire family for something different to do. There are a variety of games, bowling, pool, snacks, and the little ones could even earn prizes.

Had a good time for what it was. Won a dinosaur from the claw machine, that was cool. Bowling was fine. It's a nice little nostalgia place to go

It's actually unfair how much fun this place is! They've got it all, literally... Bowling alley (with occasional events), a MASSIVE arcade, tabletop games like ping pong, an adequate dining place, I mean this could be a day trip all in it's own and you can spend easily several hours here. Great place!

Overall a good experience. Went at 6pm on a Saturday. So there was about an hour and a half wait for our lane, but $50 on a game card was enough to occupy two kids in the arcade while we waited. Appeared to be slightly understaffed, but the employees do their best so be kind and patient.

This is not the same as few years ago things have changed when it comes to the machines some of them are not working well and they are not being fixed also they change the $10 card for 1 hour play when before it was much better now it got very strict you can't play the same game for a certain amount of time because it won't let you and the food got really bad when it was so good before, probably I won't be returning to no round one.

Our children have always enjoyed the games and bowling, but today noticed the poor service and attitudes of the staff. There were continual issues with the pins not completely resetting. Their favorite game was removed and the drink/fries special that is advertised online and above the food area was not honored. We all decided never to return.

Took the kids for a day of play. They had an absolute blast. There are all kinds of games for all ages (which made it fun for us parents too). It is relatively affordable, which is nice. I think some games cost more credits than they are really worth, but overall, you get a lot for what you pay. We had 4 kids and 3 adults play nonstop for 2 hours and spent less than a hundred bucks. Definitely worth a trip.

Normally, I have a great experience when I come here but for some reason this time I came and I had everything but. To begin with, the staff is rude and uneducated, not all, but most. There is a certain staff member ( @ N G E L ) that is just a nightmare honestly. I've never had such a terrible experience here until I met this individual working at this establishment. I will be submitting an official report regarding this but I did want to leave a review as a warning to anyone who loves coming here as I use

Love this place! So much to do. The bowling area is neat & reasonably priced. Definitely recommend for adults & families!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
