Overall experience was good. We celebrated my son?s birthday here and all of us had a blast! We got a workout bowling! ?? I selected a party package for the group which included shoes, drinks and 2 slices of pizza ?? per person and 2 hours of bowling. Plus they added party hats and 2 balloons. ?? They had optional food like wings and more pizza, but a reminder to all you need to pay for that separately if you wish to order. Make sure to order right when you get there, too. I didn't do that and our food got
Great place to have some fun, eat some food, and spend quality time with family and friends. Brings people together. You earn tickets when you play those games on the 2nd floor. Some machines don't work, but staff can refund you if you come across a machine that took your points and didn't work. Restroom available. There's also karaoke on the 2nd floor. There's a seating area. There's also bowling here too. Lots of things to do here. There's photo booths here too. Staff is friendly, I've never came across a
I had a great time at Round1 Bowling & Arcade at Eastridge Shopping Center. The bowling lanes were fun and well-maintained, and the arcade had a wide variety of games to choose from. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lively. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of the arcade machines were out of order. Despite that, it was a fun outing, and I'll definitely be back to enjoy more games and bowling!
It's my favorite arcade spot in the bay. The DDR community is friendly and their machines are always up-to-date and in good condition. They cycle their rhythm games out but the main ones are there. Crane games are actually fair to players and the prizes are good! Their karaoke/bowling/billiards are ok, but one time my group got unlucky with a faulty bowling alley and we lost some minutes from that. Cleanliness is ok, depends sometimes but to be expected of an arcade this size. Staff are pretty nice and kno
Great games - we always go for the crane games. You can check their main website to see what items they have available for limited time being put out on the crane/skill games. The wife always comes out with several figurines each time we go here. It's also good to get the black card because if you come often, the amount you pay gets you a bit more game points!
Honestly, this was my first time hard core doing claw machines. It was quite fun, but IMO, definitely pretty pricey. They do have some promos for credits, so definitely look into getting more, since it won't expire if you plan to come back. Staff was generally friendly. To management...it is a bit weird to sell custom cards...but if you're a member, it doesn't roll over...so less people will likely buy the cards...staff thought it was weird too. Will be back in the future! Easy parking in Eastridge mal
I've been coming to this location pretty frequently for the past 3 months. At first the payout for the claw machines were decent, but now winning anything out of them is hardly achievable. You have to wait around for people to play the machine you want a prize from way longer, or immediately ask them to fix the prize for you. I got confirmation from an employee that the payout has been raised. To me, it's not worth it anymore. I won't be coming back to this location unless it's for unlimited arcade games. D
Security guards hassled me and my friend (we're both women) and were blowing vape smoke in our faces. They tried to check my male friend?s ID, offered to let me and my female friend in without checking our IDs, then started hitting on us. When rejected, they waved us down with the magnetic wands and made me turn out all my pockets. Highly unprofessional establishment with security guards hassling customers for fun. I understand that these guys were bored at their job, but making female customers feel unsafe
Awesome little spot. It's a perfect place to take a higher energetic kid and let them go lose. No complaints, no kids rough house. Everyone seems to be respectful kids play fairly. Fun spot to have birthday parties or events
Good for kids birthday party. Kids love it. However they only have very limited stage props for the theme you want to have for kids birthday. So do bring your own backdrop, balloons, flowers, stuffed figures etc if you want to make the rich deco. All celebrations and deco will be placed in a reserved room next to the playground. Be mindful of the time span, normally they only give you 1hr and half.
A fun place to spend with friends and family. There are a lot of fun arcade games here, and they have a large collection of claw machines. My son?s personal favorites are the Dinosaur shooter and Pirate?s Hook. The down size: - Many prizes that could be exchanged using tickets are so expensive. One time we won 1800+ tickets and couldn't exchange for a medium plushy. The one that can be exchanged are small plushies which are not cute at all. - The claw machines are rigged, as they're always supposed to. The
Money trap for sure but so fun. Staff are very friendly and atmosphere is always amazing. A bit of a warning tho it's reallllyyy hot inside so I def recommend wearing light and airy clothes even if it's cold outside.
Bowling lane timer was started the minute we paid for it - so no time given for shoes, buying snacks etc. they agreed to pause it later, but we never got back the lost time. Pricing for arcade games is designed to benefit the house and not customer friendly (different color schemes, red, blue, green, rainbow) some are not allowed in 1 hr all you can play pass - weird.
PROS; * Great prices on food and drinks! * Games are decently priced. * Security guarding the doors. CONS: * None.
I have a mild addiction to claw machines and this place delivers. I was on a trip for work so I couldn't stay longer, but I'd love to see a Round1 in my hometown. I'd definitely recommend this place for any claw machine enthusiasts. Also, this place has a great selection of arcade machines.
This is the worst round one I have ever been to. They have the worst customer service here and the Manager CHARLES was very unprofessional. He was unable to help my family, friend and I purchase ice cream because of the kitchen orders being backed up. He simply could have taken the initiative and helped us quickly with a simple fast order but he declined and decided that his workers should just stand behind the single deep fryer waiting for food to be deep fried and neglect any customers approaching the co
It's ok, but the claw crane games are slightly sus. With all the machines in there it gets warm even when it's not crowded. Some fun games, some senseless. It was a fun time overall and I think it's because we were there early on a Monday.
04.2025: Bowling area, 1-3ppl comfortable, more than 3 is a little tight. Shared table with another lane. $12/person for 2 games. 2024: Karaoke for two was $50-60. There's no music video, just terrible moving texts on the screen with really horrible melody that is similar to the real song in the background. Cannot adjust melody or turn on the artist voice. Some aren't even the real song just something very similar. The room?s lights can't be dimmed or turn off. Chili cheese fries, the chilies tastes terrib
Place definitely went downhill since our last few visits and we used to come here at least a couple times. Especially wrt the crane games - disappointed with how much more difficult they made the settings and swapping out the actual prize with a circular pillow so there's no strategy involved with grabbing the prize. They made it too difficult it deters you from playing. Also at least a number of the machines wouldn't take our card (is they were broken). Bathroom smell permeates through the game floor. I'm
Rude employees and managers hostile environment from food and all around. Ignorant people expensive food it's bad don't update prices so they over charge. Horrible place to go. Only one thing they have ice cream scoop is 99 cents. Not worth the trip wouldn't recommend it at all to anyone. You ask a question and they look at you as you were an alien. Every one there hate their job so bad you can see it in their attitude everyday. I use to go there many times and they don't change their attitude.
The most friendliest crew in all the Bay Area Round1. The place is sooooo nice to have a family or hang out with friends. So much fun stuff to do. Arcade n games. I love going here a lot.
This a modern day crane game arcade. There are many plush doll prizes to win. On one side they serve adult beverages at the bar. When you win some prizes you will need to call over a team member to receive it.
We came here to play video games and had a great time. There is an extremely high amount of video games. I'm estimating somewhere around a hundred fifty. They also have about 10 billiards tables. They have roughly 20 lanes of bowling though there's a long wait. They have I believe six individual karaoke rooms which is quite fun for your immediate party and not very embarrassing cuz I'm not in front of the whole bar. I found the prices here to be reasonable and not extremely expensive. I came on a Saturday a
Has Dance rush and multiple DDR machines. Cheap beer and food and all around an awesome spot. However, there are some hardcore DDR and Drum guys here who will be on the machine for a long time unless you ask to work in/make some friends. All in all pretty sweet.
More then half of the machines are unusable, good luck even spending your tokens. Go somewhere else like driving to Santa Cruz Arcade and enjoy a boardwalk + fully working arcade.
Thanks for moving the better racing game (Maximum Tune 5DX Plus) away from the Claw Machines Glare
Pros drinks are so so cheap! 10 dollars for a seltzer mixer. 4 dollars for wine, bud light and Moscow mules. The arcade is fun with a wide array of Japanese games, and an added bonus are the karaoke rooms! Which are super reasonably priced. biggest con is the claw machines are expensive and hard, the grip on the machines is one of the weakest I've encountered.
Cost effective where you will get bang for your bucks. Tons of things to do ranging from pool, TT, bowling, arcade games, karaoke etc. Food and drinks have big proportions and at a reasonable price. Staff was super nice, place was packed with groups including a corporate event group. They did a good job in maintaining the place, however entrance is not that appealing and escalators were broken.
loved the place! lots to choose from, quite affordable (2 people can get a card for $25 and play for about 40-50 minutes, 7-8 arcades). my personal favorite was the dancing one unfortunately, a few machines don't work so look for the little signs. there's still a lot of games to use
This place used to be my regular haunt for Japanese rhythm games, but not as much anymore. A lot of my favorite games, such as Groove Coaster and Music Gun Gun have been removed and replaced with claw machines. However a lot of the remaining rhythm games have been made eligible for unlimited timed play, which is nice. I tried Chunithm, but since it's the offline mode the song selection is anemic. I didn't realize just how limited it was going to be (the only song in the anime and pop section is a Christmas
Definitely coming back again for another round! Pretty fun spot with lots of arcade games, claw machines, as well as a bowling alley and billiards area!
Some fun games including chunithm and ddr but no taiko makes it a far cry from the Japan experience ??
1.5 hour wait when we called 10 mins before and was told 20 min wait. Arcade SUPER expensive. Also, I thought the security at the front was gonna ask me to bend over and cough. Some power tripping kid was cracking down on me about a portable Apple Watch charger to the point that I had to prove it to him with a google image proving that's what it was. Wouldn't recommend
For Bay Area rhythm gamers, ERM/ESC is regarded as one of the worst R1s in the area thanks to poor cab upkeep so beware if you're looking to play those games.
Always happy to play at Round1. The prices are of great quality. Many cool coin pushers straight from Japan. I however wish there would be medal games like in Japan (where you buy medals to play with and only win medals back). My wife and I always play those for hours when we are in Japan.
I blew $92 in 30 minutes. Will not be back. I saw everyone getting prizes out the claw machine, they must have used their full card just for that one thing. I was disappointed. If you just want to play timed arcade games it would be cool. But I won't be back. The soda machine tasted like chemicals and some of them didn't work at all. The bar tender manager didn't offer a refund. Didn't want to go and look at the machine she seemed like she didn't care. After waiting 15 mins she offers him 1 water bottle whi
Probably my least favorite Round One, it's not the variety of games, it's just that the employees feel meaner here than anywhere else. Oddly, they don't give cups for water and the water fountains dispense little water, best bring your own water bottles.
I love this place, but- Many of the games were broken, and two of them ate up my credits. Went to the front desk and got a refund for the credits I lost, but they didn't put up a sign or anything. RIP to the next unfortunate soul who unwittingly swipes. Also, there's a security check by the entrance at night. They check your bags, and sweep you down with a metal detector. There's also an age restriction when it gets later, so bring your ID if you plan to visit at night (and look under 20). Alright, now th
I would say....take out the plushies and replace them with quality japanese products....
Best arcade I've been to. Affordable prices. The machines are modern and the premises are clean. I love the rhythm games section and the fighting games section. Some really out of this world machines as well. rgb everywhere! ?? ?? ??
This was so fun for the grandkids. We only went bowling, but there was so much more to do.
This is one of the best arcades I have ever visited. They have many of the standard video games and so many dance / rhythm games. I had a blast.
Most round1 places are amazing and fun, however this is not one of them. The prizes in the claw machines not only suck but the claw machines are all rigged. Along side that the prices per game are pretty high. The coin pusher games all also appear to be rigged. Today I emptied out the entire stack of cards from the marvel coin pusher and only got one Thanos card. I understand you're trying to make money but treat the customers better. Update: I returned and emptied out the machine twice and did not get a
This was a pleasant surprise. Great entertainment for all ages. You can get a $10 game card for 60 minutes of unlimited fun. The only disclaimer is you can only swipe once every 90 seconds and only on the green light swipe boxes. After our hour was up we walked on over to their concessions and grabbed $0.99 scoops of ice cream. Very affordable and lots of fun. There's so much to do. I saw they had karaoke ?? rooms and they had beer. Loved hanging out here with the family.
Overall the experience for me was nostalgic. I love arcades and the endless amount of games is GREAT!!!
Dirty floors but very fun intoxicated. Haven't been drunk in years.
Crowded on a Friday evening but well worth it! We drove about an hour in hopes for good claw machines and weren't disappointed, lots of people walking around with prizes and we won quite a few figures ourselves, will definitely make the drive again!
Visited for a birthday party, hung out after as we were having so much fun. I highly recommend buying a time card instead of credits if you're not interested in playing for prizes. While somewhat expensive, the fun of wandering around and just trying games that look interesting is too much to resist. Try playing a game in Japanese when you don't speak it; it's a blast! Some areas are pretty warm and sweaty even in mid-March when they're not even crowded, could get very warm on weekends and during summer mon
It's a nice place to spend time with your friends and family. This place is nice and clean. Great for kids to play bowling or play on the arcade games. Follow me for more!!
Not as many machines as the Reno one but still fun, bowling had automatic shoe dispenser which was pretty neat and and convenient.
Other than bowling lanes, there are also some pool tables, and many arcade games. There are also quite a number of karaoke rooms too.
No other alternative if you are fan of the KONAMI game. Conditions of the arcades were good and gamers with manner. Some SEGA games also, like Groovecoaster , Chunithm, etc.
Great place for bowling. The food is good too. Fun for all ages. Kids can play arcade games.
One of my favorite spots for me and my daughter to hang out she's 9 years old she loves it we play arcades and we hang out as daughter and father
A handful of the machines that my fianc? and I tried to play were either broken or acting up, and this location doesn't have some games we wanted to play like pinball and Jubeat. But we still had fun with the games and billiards table, so much that we traded for cute prizes like this cat-shaped lip balm! Definitely arrive right after the arcade opens because it grew very crowded very quickly right after the 2pm mark.
they didnt let me do karoke even though i showed id and forced me to do bowling. i hate bowling.
Great fun for adults and kids, could get pricey if you're disciplined.
It's a great arcade for how many people go to it. Most games are up n running. The biggest problem i have is with management. Constant foul language around children, I've heard them insult employees at least half dozen times. They always seem so irritated to have to help you if s machine fouls up. There one younger Asian gal in there that's always smiling and happy to help though, even though she seems like she's targeted by superiors because she is very nice. Overall a great arcade
My 1 star will stay untill they move the Maximun Tune 5 cabinets away from the claw machines, the glare is horrible and makes it impossible to see anything while playing. Please move them anywhere else
Selection of games is huge, comparable to Dave and buster. You get a cool ddr crowd that shows up and puts on a show pretty often. The downside is expensively priced games and some games that really need some maintenance done on them. I got a handful of games that played poorly or not at all. If you just watched a movie it's a cool place to checkout for a while but don't plan on spending long here because it will cost you.
Their machines chipped my ball. They've got super dry, unmanaged lanes. Don't go here for bowling. They said they *might* pay to fix the damages that their poorly maintained machines caused. This is the second time I've been here and the second time I've been very disappointed.
Cheap drinks, amazing selection of arcade games, especially coin pushers. Friendly and helpful staff.
Total garbage, find a different arcade Half of the games are non-op. Literally no one working the prize room. Don't bother wasting your time or money.
If you want to bowl go somewhere else. The lanes had no oil and the machines scuffed and left large rubber marks on our personal bowling balls. The AC wasnt working either and it was cooler outside than it was inside. Other bowlers were complaining of the same issues and the workers shrugged it off. Thankfully the manager refunded us since we didnt finish our time we paid for but on the way out we tried using the elevator due to having a disabled person with us and the down button was not working so we had
Overall it was a pretty fun arcade, very interesting claw machines, 3 stars due to there being absolutely no notice online or in building that they had sold out of all but the keychains for the hololive event (no drinks or towels) while I understand this is somewhat difficult to prepare for me and a group of friends from many different parts of the state got together excited for this event and some fun. Made worse by them cutting off mixed drinks on a Saturday at 8 pm?
Went in on a Friday around noon. We got the whole place to ourselves (nm a few nippers with their mums) for over an hour. The claw machine craze is in my bones now!
Great place to have so much fun with your kids.
Brand new addition to Stonestown and hopefully would be driving more traffic when the mall entrance is officially opened. Already have a few broken arcade machines. Hope that would improve when it's officially opened.
I don't know why so many bad reviews. We had our son birthday party and had a good time. Service was great, pizza is good. Almost all games were working. So we had a really good time. Yes the toilettes needs more repairs but not a big deal.
Food Service cashier today 6/18 horrible service! Get some change!
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Our group of eight celebrated a birthday here tonight playing arcade games. We headed to the vending machines around midnight and waited in line to buy drinks from the vending machine. Note: there was another group ahead of us using the vending machine and a different group sitting down in the table area. The woman in the bar area with long red hair was extremely rude and condescending towards us! She told us to leave if we weren't going to buy anything. We told her that we're waiting
Decent but pricey and food area is lackluster and a little filthy.
The arcade offers a fantastic experience, but unfortunately, a significant number of its machines are frequently out of service. Additionally, there is often a shortage of popular machines, which can be frustrating for customers who are unable to use them.
I love to lose, 5 stars. Won once on accident. Got to shoot Godzilla in a fun game. Overall great, had fun with my buddy Tri
My kids love this place. But my pocket doesn't too expensive to play all the games. And you don't accumulate enough points for any bonus gift for the kids. Lately they changed all the arcade machine to vending machine of try and pick a new gift with a clamp. I think they should change the name of the place from arcade park to camp park. I really hope they would read my review and change something back to how it used to be fun for kids.
Round 1 is that place you go to when no one else is open. You never plan to go to round 1, you end up at round 1. About this place specific, games are ok but overpriced, food is mediocre and over priced. Bowling, billiards and karaoke are decently priced. There are places that do one or two of these things for a better price and better quality, honestly the only thing this place going for it is that its open late.
I see all age of people coming here for fun, balling, billiard, pingpong, gaming, and bars. Too bad they don't have darts.
Asked for a plastic bag to carry the plushies I won and the worker told me it would be 10 tickets. I thought he was joking?? But he was dead serious. At the hayward location and they didn't charge me tickets for a bag when I asked for one. it's a plastic bag we're talking about ????? I'll pay a quarter, but 10 tickets? After I dropped more than a hundred dollars to play here? Bffrrrrrr
Do not come on Sundays. I won a claw machine prize, and it took me 10 minutes to track down and wait for a staff member to open the machine and give me the prize. I've gone to other Round 1s, and there's at least one staff member wandering around the claw machine area. I spent $75 and won ONE prize. I don't recommend it coming here. I'm so disappointed with this branch. RIP off :/
I liked this spot alot for bowling. The food looked pretty good as well. Fyi, they only carry Dasani water and don't have much else to choose from if you're not interested in soda. I'd go again. Cool spot to take older teens to grab food and play some games.
I didn't play much because of an injury but my buds had a great time and the staff was seriously helpful. We asked for closed captions to be put on one of the TV's and the bartender went out of his way to accommodate, even though there were remote control issues he took the time to help and we weren't even sitting at the bar! Thanks
Great place to go with the family if you love arcades and bowling. One of the best in the bay area
Terrible customer service. So disappointed. My friend payed $600 for a birthday party, and after an arcade machine ate our credits and wouldn't let us play, (broken machine), we asked for help and they told us to go to the front desk, then back to the machine, then back to the front desk - communication was terrible, took 30 minutes, then they finally said they couldn't give us a refund. All of the employees we interacted with seemed like teenagers who didn't know what they were doing, and didn't care.
As far as arcades go it was better than most.
Honestly overall bad experience, especially if your booking for a party. Overpriced, every single staff member is so rude and doesn't even care about you or helping. It's a Tuesday afternoon and not busy and y?all are acting that way. They're supposed to check in on your party they did not? everytime we tried to ask for our booked in advance items they gave us such a hassle. My grandma tried to get herself a beer (keep in mind they keep your card on file) and they kept pestering her about her ID. THEY HAD I
We hosted a party at the round1 bowling at Eastridge location today and were very disappointed with the services. The team was very cold and rude with their responses and that took away our time from entertaining our guests. Basic utensils were very hard to get and they did not give us proper guidance prior to the event on what to bring and what not to. What made us very sad was when one of the representative said to our face that we were not a pleasant group they hosted. When we mentioned about we posting
honestly whoever is working behind the bar with the long pink/red hair needs to work somewhere else if she has a problem with people asking her for things in her job description. i?ve seen multiple reviews already written about her so i?m gonna write another one. TERRIBLE customer service and gave me extremely dirty looks & a nasty attitude. please get a job where you don't have to interact with customers, this job isn't fit for you
Can't give the place more than a 3 stars at current. Visited last year once, and the rhythm game selection was a lot more as compared to current. With the removal of some games that I absolutely loved, along with some games being absolutely broken, coming back here was definitely a slight disappointment. Games were still fun, but it could have been better.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
