I am a huge fan of Round 1 and it's arcades. This is the 3rd location I've been to. This location was neat and clean, the staff were friendly, and the environment felt similar to other round 1's I've been to. However, this round 1 had significantly more machines that were glitching or broken. Which is unlike the other two round 1 locations I've been to. The figurine prizes were also purposefully kept in machines that required primarily luck to win. I only go to round 1s for the arcades and claw machines, so
I've been to this arcade so many times and spent more than I'd care to admit. I always have so much fun and love the variety of games. They have everything from different types of claw games, rhythm games, ticket dispensing, multi-player shooters, and all kinds of stuff. Some of the claw games they have are pretty easy to win from too, if you know what youre doing. On top of that, they have bowling, a bar, and serve a variety of Asian drinks, snacks, and have some dessert as well. Lastly, they have pool roo
Went there with my husband and kids and the bartender, Alex M was extremely disrespectful. He wouldn't even acknowledge our presence despite standing there for a solid 15 minutes. There's also been another time where the bar was being run by a tall dark guy with a man bun and he completely avoided us for about 30 minutes to then tell us the bar was closed. The customer service here is terrible. The manager also does not know how to speak to people. The prices for the food is falsely advertised because they
HUGE shout out to the Round1 party crew! Frederick, Kenny and a few other names i cant remember at the moment. They were very helpful and accommodating on short notice. We came into town from MD for my Son?s hockey tournament and needed to put on a birthday party for him. While they were fully booked out for the party rooms, Frederick and his team were able to get us another package that worked really well for us and we're very awesome to work with on short notice and during a busy Saturday. Nothing but p
I went to the mall with a lady in a wheelchair with me. I could not find the elevator so I we went to Round1. We took the long walk to the bathroom only to find it closed for cleaning. There was a lady in front of us who was asked to please wait a couple of minutes. When the employee saw me and the wheelchair she moved the cones with no questions. When I came out I thanked her and told her manager about her kindness. So yes! This is a family friendly place.
Extremely Disappointed I had a terrible experience at this arcade. After waiting over an hour to bowl, we were told we weren't even on the waitlist?despite clearly checking in with the staff when we arrived. When we brought this up, the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive, offering no apology or solution. Instead of trying to make things right, they acted like it was our fault and seemed completely uninterested in helping us. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, especially when families a
Crazy assortment of video games and insane amount of claw machines. They offer bowling and pool as well. They have modern arcade games and also old school ones. It was Sunday and I saw a technician working on troubleshooting a game so that's a huge plus. The bar looked cool and they have an interesting menu over at the snack bar. It's good to see an arcade back at the mall. Pricing was fair in my opinion and the entire place was very clean
UPDATE3: The ticket claw machine up front by the mall has now been set to basically never win. Good luck- its almost impossible now. (I know all of this is settable because we've had operator access before.) UPDATE: beware some of the ticket machines will not pay out correctly and they will tell you their system doesnt 'show that' and refuse to correct it. You can try to take a photo they said though honestly this is totally invalid. Short-sighted and not customer driven. Be warned. UPDATE2: you can basic
Claw games are noticeably rigged now unless you play the ?Chibi claws? which you can actually get some. $75 for 2 mini chibis. Last year, I would get multiple decently sized plushies. I will not be returning and sticking to the machines in Flushing Queens.
I visited this location on a Saturday night with friends to bowl. We were added to the waiting list by the manager, received a confirmation text, and were told we'd be notified when a lane opened up. About 45 minutes later, we noticed several open lanes and went to check in. That's when we were told we weren't on the list ? even though we showed the staff the confirmation text. The response was, ?I don't know what you want me to do.? When the manager arrived (a brunette woman who originally added us), she c
It was my first time coming to this location Saturday May 17th . A young lady working behind the counter to reserve a bowling lane messed up our groups reservation. After patiently waiting over 45 minutes we were told we didnt have a reservation. We had the text we received when we initially made the reservation to prove it. When the manager (glasses and long ponytail) came over we expected her to apologize and give us a lane. Instead she was very rude with her responses. We stayed respectful during the co
I came to this round1 soon after it opened and wanted to visit again before leaving a review. I like the variety of coin pusher games they have, always fun. I'm most interested in the claw machines. The first time I came here, the machines were very sensitive and the payout was very low. I came back recently to give it another shot but not much changed. A bunch of machines were out of order, and the payout was still awful. Spent over 100 dollars and only won 1 medium prize and 3 small plush keychains. Most
We went on a Saturday night - the bartender was ?on a break? for an hour with no coverage. Every employee we interacted with looked absolutely miserable. The women?s bathroom had a closed for cleaning sign but when using it a little while later, two stalls were out of service and there were more unclean stalls than clean ones. We had fun bowling but we would not come back here.
Okay so I just recently went to Round one for the first time today (Tuesday) around 1 o'clock & it was really fun! I mean alot of the games were not working ?? but other than that it was a unique experience! The games that did work was sooo fun! There was quite a bit of ppl for being early, but no school so yea, but I especially enjoyed the claw machines yay! Oh but I did have a problem with one of the claw machines being stuck & I asked like 3 different employees for help, but they kind of avoided me exce
Nov 2024 - Crane games n claw machines were all working. Even had some Japanese style rubber band n pushers n hooks. Plush n figures were higher quality and win rates higher than NY Long Island location. Many slots n marbles games. More staff walking around. Be sure to get here 30minutes before close to charge/add funds to your card, otherwise machines will be turned off. 15m before close is when all games are turned off. Returned 6/2025 - win rates are still mid. Does not yet have the new Star Wars game
This place used to be a favorite for my kids. Especially their massive array of claw machines that allowed a fair chance for them to win stuffed animals. Not sure what changed but during a recent visit we saw several popular machines ?out of service? and the claw machines were clearly calibrated to impossibly frustrating levels, almost bringing a kid to tears. The place was also virtually empty, which sounds nice but is an indication of a shift. If you're going to go, just stick to the bowling alley.
UPDATE: There is a set of Mariokart at this location, yay ?? Another location close to where I live. Not gonna lie, every Round 1 spot I go to, I always have a blast no matter what. But all the other new and some of my favorite games I played definitely made the night for me. The Asphalt VR game literally blew my mind, lol. And that new space invaders game they just copped is HUGE!!! Definitely gonna plan on coming here more often along with the Middletown location! :)
I had such a great experience at Round 1! The employees were incredibly nice and went above and beyond to help me when I was struggling with the claw machine. They were so patient and they made the experience even more fun. It's clear the staff genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a good time. Their kindness and willingness to help really stood out, and I left feeling so happy with my visit. I'll definitely be back for more games and great service!
We recently had a birthday party at Round 1 in the Danbury Mall, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Leading up to the party, no one contacted me to confirm final numbers or go over any details. I emailed the person listed on the confirmation?no response. I then called and spoke to a manager, who told me the party coordinator would be available during specific hours. I showed up an hour after that time, and he still wasn't there. When he finally arrived, we reviewed the party, and he
My husband and I just had a party here with a group of 8 kids including the parents. We used the party package. It was the absolute BEST experience. We didn't feel rushed, the food was HOT, DELICIOUS & came out fast. Not to mention our host Rubin was the biggest blessing. He even came in on his day off, as we requested him to be our host, which meant the world to us. Everyone had a great time and left exhausted from all the food & fun. We couldn't be anymore grateful for Round1 and their AMAZING hospitality
Talk about a ripoff. The games are wildly overpriced, they go based on credits rather than tell you the actual dollar amount so that way it doesn't feel like you're spending a lot but you'll blow through $35 in less than half an hour between two people. Not to mention many of the games are complex and don't have the best instructions so the first time you play you lose instantly before you figure out what you were supposed to do. Add to that the claw machines are very captivating, and they have a huge varie
Crazy fun! Great prizes, some games I've never even seen before straight from Japan, and the best part about the bowling lanes is multiple size finger holes for each weight, nice touch ???? so much fun I came two nights in a row with different friends. I'm so grateful this is at Danbury Fair Mall!!!!
Horrible experience at this particular Round 1. They don't have any of the promotional merch for spending card money and do not tell you beforehand, half of the arcade games are busted, the crane game prizes aren't set according to the pictures and barely budge, and the staff are not only incredibly unhelpful and beyond that they're just flat out rude. If you have any other locations nearby, even if they're more out of the way, patron anny other Round 1 instead. It's very clear this particular Round 1 isn't
The workers there especially the lady and man in the suit who were helping my family and I reset the plushies positions in the claw machines were extremely helpful and kind :) We had lots of fun playing the claw machines and won several toys.
The services was unprofessional. The manager made a mistake. She never apologized for she then told us it's best and better that way while no one gave her a response to react the way she did. They called security to the desk to monitor a mistake that was made on their end.
Saved my daughter?s birthday. We didn't have enough people to book a party. And although it was a busy Saturday management made sure she could do the activity she wanted. Above and beyond I will happily bring my kids back here.
Honestly sad. Couple good games but the let people hog games.... There was a group of kids hogging the only good race car game my kids wanted to play.. a hour Ina half they sat there rotating and even brought chairs up behind so they can just hold the spot at hang... Bowling alley lane broke down with in 4 rounds .. no good prizes expensive undercooked food.... And the cale machines took up half the place half empty half with crap prizes .. what a disaster honestly.
Absolutely amazing place! So glad we have one in Connecticut. Tons of claw machines and arcade games. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prizes aren't too difficult to win
The bar crew was shockingly rude, setting the tone for what turned out to be an absolutely dreadful experience. The entire staff carried an air of hostility, making it clear that customer service is the last thing on their minds. The so-called ?manager? with the ponytail and glasses, along with Ethan and Kenneth, were especially unbearable?aggressive, unprofessional, and completely unfit for their roles. Their behavior was not just unwelcoming but outright hostile, making the entire atmosphere uncomfortable
Very fun arcade with a variety of arcade games, claw machines, bowling, ect. They have a nice looking bar and also have a food spot. Everything you need is there for a perfect day outing without leaving their facility. All the workers were friendly. Claw machines weren't awful and we were able to actually win some big plushies! Lots of Japanese games and some nice classics. I'd definitely go back! For parking, go right next to cheesecake factory. I will say the bathroom was not very clean and nasty pe
Had a great time at Round1 when they hosted a birthday party for my kids today. Lisette was a wonderful host and the unlimited games and karaoke made the party amazing.
Just don't play the claw games, all the actual games are very fun, bunch of DDR machines, rhythm games straight from japan as well as good racing games. Probably the best arcade in CT that I've seen way better than any Dave and Busters.
I live 45 minutes from Holyoke and 75 from Danbury. I went here hoping it's better then Holyoke. My criteria location, rigged, fun, and people. Location part of mall + Fun - People - Rigged pathetic It's not as rigged as Holyoke is. It's worse. UFO machines that don't go down fully. Pull the box off some bars to drop but the bars are set so there is no space for it to fall. Swipe and claw goes automatically, drops little then backup and takes your credits. Claws that don't close. Claws that grab them open. Yo
Really enjoyed coming to round 1, the game options are endless and loads of fun. The overall price is not bad, $15 for 70 credits, each game ranges from 4-12 credits. Came late at night to avoid crowds, parties and children. My only complaint is the bathrooms were horrendous..
We visited for the first time for the collaboration event. There's a wide selection of arcade games, including VR games, and also imported Japanese arcade games. Classic ?arcade? food but also delicious Japanese snacks and drinks! Everyone who we asked for assistance or had a question for was super helpful and nice. Lots of groups of people of various ages (someone was having their 50th birthday!) all appear to be having as much fun as us. We would absolutely frequent weekly if Halo: Fireteam Raven?s online
Great place to spend time in! Games are really fun, lots of prizes, the fact that you can also get food and drinks while playing is 11/10. 12/10 For friendly staff!
Before this location was opened, I went to the Round 1 locations in Japan. Specifically, at Osaka Umeda and the Round 1 Spocha in Odaiba, at Tokyo. I was really excited that the Round 1 location opened up in Danbury. They're really close to their Japanese counterparts. Although it's not a Spocha, it's really fun to see that some arcade games that I thought were only found in Japan, are at the U.S. Round 1 locations. I went here along with some friends, and it was epic. We played tons of claw machines, arcad
Really bad experience overall, bathrooms were gross, told 2 hour wait for bowling yet half the lanes were not being used, overpriced, was told the bar was closed even though there was just an announcement that it was closing in 10 minutes, employee handed me a cup after just shoving food in his mouth. 0/5 will not return.
Great location and refreshing to visit a clean and well-maintained place! My son had a blast there with the various games and activities! We've visited a few times and can't wait to book a birthday party in the future!
Owned by a Chinese company. Most games are in mandarin so it can be very confusing. We went to bowl and they told us 1 hour. I had to go up after a hour and a half to ask when there was multiple lanes open. The food and drink service was horrible as well. All around just a bad place
Took my niece this past weekend mainly because of the wide selection of claw machines. Honestly, it is such a great selection, a wide range of regular arcade games, as well as VR, bowling. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't crowded. I would say a bit overpriced as $50 got you 300 chips, with the mini claw machine games anywhere from 8-10 credits and the large claw machines being anywhere from 11-14. Easy to run through them fast. I will note that when I purchased the game card at the counter, we
Very rude, manager asked for her name and she declined to give it to me (short lighter skin women with a pony tail and glasses) was very hostile, as well as Ethan and Kenneth , DO NOT COME HERE, we were treated so rudely. I will be escalating this as far up as I can.
The manager with the ponytail and glasses (lighter-skinned female), along with Ethan and Kenneth, were extremely rude, unprofessional, and outright disrespectful. Their behavior was unacceptable and left a terrible impression.
Corporate greed ruined round 1. All claw machines and the like have been rigged an embarrassing amount compared to the past. The house always wins!
Fun place to hang out for a couple of hours and blow some cash. Definitely on the pricey side but a ton of claw machines if you're into that. Staff is friendly and overall a nice place to spend some time at instead of just a regular bar. Claw machines are definitely a little rigged and return on investment for credits vs tickets is low, but that's expected since it's more about the experience. I haven't had any food from here so I can't speak on that, but there is a separate eating area so it stays relativ
I booked a reservation for my child?s birthday for this upcoming Saturday but did not receive any phone confirmation. When I called to follow up, I was informed that another department would contact me, but I never received a call. I followed up again, only to be told they were fully booked?even though I had received an email confirming my party. This venue, especially its manager, is highly unprofessional and disorganized. The lack of empathy and problem-solving is astonishing.
Definitely have had better. Four (4) pinball machines in a building the size of a department store. Play by time. No thanks, I'll drive to nyc for pinball since this place is about the only place in Danbury with a few machines.
Round1 in Danbury can be a fun place to spend the evening, but we had an unprofessional transaction that anyone visiting this establishment should beware of. I went to round 1 with a group of 5 people, and we wanted to do two bowling games. However, the staff member running the cashier overcharged the first person in our group, having them pay for three games instead of two. What was more concerning was the lack of transparency in the staff's actions. They failed to notify us of this error and continued ch
It's a scam, if you play for tickets you won't get much. Even if you spend more than $100 you'll only win few gums. Staff isn't too friendly either, the games fun, hence the two stars.
Typical arcade type place. The price for bowling shoes is annoying and the machines are rigged and BIG money wasters. Decent food though
Fun arcade that is a great addition to the Danbury Fair mall. This place gets very busy on the weekends, but staff overall do a great job of keeping it clean and being attentive to customers. If someone can't help you with a question or concern, you will get directed towards someone who can. Wait times can get a bit long for food or bowling when there's a lot of people / not a lot of staff, but that's not on them.
Awesome place for games. Staff was helpful loading the card up. Don't plan on eating here. Hit the food court instead. The cafe employees are completely lost. They screwed up my order and 2 others orders. They are understaffed and food will take a full hour. Not to mention that the girl working there was very rude. So, avoid the food part of it, and enjoy the wonderful games!!!!
I made a group of veterans to play billar, they said they close at 2am but the billar closes at 12am because they have to ?clean? and they stop selling the billar but I don't understand how long does it take to clean the billar, specially when I see everyone just standing at the front desk
The teriyaki bowl was probably one of the worst I think I've ever had. Way over priced for what you get. You get some diced chicken bits, with teriyaki mix that definitely came from a bag, and the rice was lacking in the flavor department. It's Sunday afternoon during football season and what looked like only one game being shown. Not even in the bar area. What's the point of having all those tvs and having a bar area, if you're not going to use them? I asked if the channel could be changed to another game
My family and I are regulars at round 1 and it is regretful to say that we were harassed and forced to leave for using the family restroom. We were not aware of their unrealistic ?rules? and instead of them giving us a heads up, Selena the manager ( short brunette) made disgusting assumptions and forced us to leave after we had just purchased our game cards. Their approach was unnecessarily rude and aggressive, while we tried to be reasonable and apologetic. We tried to get a refund before leaving and were
Large selection of games. Even some imported. Stay away from claw machines. My 102 yr old Grandma has more grip strength than the machines here. Generally all claw machines are rigged but these it's really bad, avoid those and the food and you can have a decent time. Expect to spend $ quick if you stay extended period of time or are paying for multiple people.
We went for my son?s birthday a few days ago. This place has the potential to be decent, but it unfortunately fell short for us. I'd say almost a third of the games were either switched off or out of order. My kids are on the younger side, and it seemed like a lot of the games that were age appropriate for them were the out of order ones. I wish I realized this before I spent so much money on a game card. Had I realized this, I would have purchased a less expensive one since we couldn't play so many of the
Thank you to the Danbury staff, they were all so friendly and helpful. Great, cute prizes. I found the larger item claws were easier than the smaller ones! Weird! Location super clean and tidy, but should be because it's new. Just ask for help if you need anything reset and the staff will help you. Only advice is to refresh the UFO pushers better!
Would love to give a better review but had a situation with ticket redemption on a small plush for my none year old. Would not scan properly and many were unlabeled. Manager Thomas walked away instead of helping. Thomas was unkempt and seemed to not really care. I believe it was because our money was already spent. Thank goodness for the other Manager on duty who stepped in and saved the situation. At this point Thomas walked away with my daughters plush! This put the employees and myself in a very awkard p
This location is really big with a lot of claw machines. They are actually skill based, unlike some other locations which are rigged. There are lots of employees walking around to help and the staff at the desk are very nice. Would definitely recommend visiting, this is one of the nicer locations!
We always go to the one in Holyoke, but figured we would try this new one in Danbury. They are both about the same distance. First impression was good. A little chilly, but clean and the one staff member we met was really nice. As we walked around more, we realized that at least between 10 and 20 games were non functioning. Also, the machine to turn in the cards you get from the games was taped up and not working. That was a huge disappointment. Holyoke rarely, if ever, has machines down. There were some ne
The gyzoza and Karage is fine. As for Sriracha as the Japanese snacks are fine. The mochi is very frozen as is the.99 cent ice cream. Blech - its grossly freezer burned. You'd figure that out by noticing that the coffee Ice cream tastes like a freezer. Bars okay and overpriced for the drinks but it's okay for the place. Go play the Iron Maiden game!
When this location had first opened up, things were rough with rhythm games and understaffed tech-wise. Now they really have gotten everything nicely set up. The DDR White Cab runs solidly and even when it does have issues, techs are quick and supportive to fix it. DDR Gold Cab is still being sorted out but it is there! Very pleased with how seriously they've taken making these machines work right.
I came today with my 2 sons and 2 of their friends. More than half of the games are out of order. The kiosks do not accept cash for game cards (most kids carry cash because that's what parents give them when they go out). Overall, not impressed.
Awful Super expensive, most games are rigged and many more are broken but still steal your tokens. Asked somebody to give us a refund on the stolen tickets but they said they couldn't and offered nothing else in return, and instead just walked away. Many other arcades around that are so much better.
Won't let us bring food for party but they had no food, no soda, no ice cream more then 2 hours for a pie.
I love Round 1, it's a great experience but there were a couple of things that really knocked it down for me. For context, I frequent the Middletown location. Staff: No hate on the staff, rather it feels as though they didn't have enough. This resulted in a few staff members doing multiple roles which seemed to tire them out. Maybe it was when I went (Sunday around 3-5PM) but it was noticable. Games: Bro... WAY too many crane games! It was overwhelming! I am one to frequent the arcade cabinets (I love rh
I like the overall look of the place, the kids love it, but that Joke of a arcade, the prices to play the games are out of control?you have games that are 12.8 tokens to play?!?! Where they do that at?!?!
I'm extremely disappointed in round 1 today. I was getting hit by kids in the prize zone and the manager laughed took it as a joke
Shady establishment. I went in today with my teenage kids. When we got to the mall at 11am we noticed an older man playing a racing game. He was in the middle of a game so we sat down so the three of us could race. We finished and went on to play other games. Shortly after the arcade had a power outage so we left and went shopping in the mall. After a bit we said let's go back and use the rest of our credits. When we walked in my daughter challenged me again. The same man was sitting there still playing thr
Very nice place, more expensive than Dave and busters but has nicer prizes(all plushies in Dave and buster feel liked they're stuffed with styrofoam ). I want to come back and try more of the ticket games. Cause they look fun EDIT well I went back ticket games are very fun but the claw machines are pure bogus. The ufo claws have plush that are all in bad spots so they can't fall. The medium claws are either to big or to small for the plushies and the large claws can't get a full grip so they fall. Spent to
Great place, clean and so much to do! Frederick helped us out with an issue and he was always smiling and did a fantastic job taking care of us. This company is lucky to have him!
Overall not bad. Sadly, for how new it is, there is an astonishing number of broken or inoperable games. Another issue was the amount of credits to play games are significantly higher than other local establishments and other round 1 locations. The customer service from the people at the food counter was laxidasical at best.
It's not worth it, in my opinion. Almost every claw machine there drops the item once it gets to the top (that's if it even closes when it drops, to grab the item). The games are fine and the food seems decent but too much money for the little time spent.
Bar closes early. Then when you are in there at 11:30 the announcement comes on that the bar closes at 1am, they won't serve alcohol. Then the manager makes up pretend connecticut laws about being able to serve some people alcohol but not everyone.
Haven't seen a place like this since the 90's. Modern games tho, still the old fashioned function. Amazing beer selection, tons of things to do from bowling to kareoke to billiards to a wide range of games to play. Soo much here you can't do it all in one go. (Kinda broke the place ticket wise. I will never reveal my secret lol) cheers!
Biggest arcade, staff aren't great, super overprised. But they have bowling, pool, a bar, over 100 claw machines, crazy cool arcade games you'll find no where else. Only downside is be ready to spend a good chunk of change if you wanna have fun there.
I really enjoyed my time at this round 1 location. The claws machines are win able. I spend $50 dollars and was able to win 7 big rilakkuma. Definitely coming back.
Ill start with the arcade its amazing! Unfortunately the experience was ruined by the bar staff, they are very slow and appear to be very under trained. I hope they higher experienced bartenders in the future and make this a much more enjoyable for the older crowd.
Some suggestions: if a machine is out of order, put a sign on it (especially the points machine in the victory zone). The manager just watches people getting annoyed with it. Get some hand sanitizer stations, please! This place is like a petri dish. Also, more pinball machines please.
First time at this arcade and it was a very good experience. The staff kept congratulating us on constantly winning prizes, the service was very good. Very clean space well maintained and everyone was super friendly!!
Games were fun and prizes are good. Unfortunately I ordered the karaage chicken and got 3 decent pieces the rest were tiny bits that were at the end of the bag as well as overcooked.
Minimal complaints on the games. However, we have people using machines for hours straight - drenched in sweat - and it seems deodorant has not been discovered by these groups. Deodorant should be mandated at the door - full armpit checks to go with the 18+ checks.
A few of the arcade games are broken and steal your tokens, I wouldn't come here again unless I was only doing bowling or pool
First time went with family. They have everything there! Great place
As time pasted, it seem some games remain the same. Either it out of order or out of date. The place is still somewhat new but that has to be addressed soon. Aside from that, staff were great per the norm for most Round1. I do hope they keep it up as I've seen location that degrade over time.
Need to figure out their staffing on the weekends. Arcade is a good time
Let start with the positive , amazing huge arcade, clean , new machines basic they have everything with good price , I will hope for more pinball with the score code , My only issue is the bar and food court ruining by kids with cero experience ,even in empty day with 3 people will take 15 to 20 minutes to get a drink not joke .
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities.
