I attended my God brother's daughters birthday party recently. I mainly played pool and dined at their cafe since the party was catered to children. It's a pretty big place and has plenty of games for adults and kids alike

I usually don't write reviews but I had to. I went to use ping pong. all the tables were taken and we couldn't play. I asked for a refund and they said no you can pick something else. I wanted to go bowling so I went, and they didn't put the bumpers. I asked for the bumbers and they said ? you need to pay an extra $5 ? I got really mad. And after we bowled, we went to the arcade. I bought two $16 cards. So I would get 70 credits on each card. On 1 card got 70 credits but the other one got 50. I called over

I spent about $120 and won several adorable plushies that made the experience totally worth it. The employee is helpful, the claw machines are well-maintained and have a great variety of prizes to choose from. It's not just about winning but also the excitement of the game itself that keeps you coming back for more. If you're looking for a fun and lively arcade experience, Round 1 is the perfect spot

We had an absolutely amazing time at Round One! The arcade is packed with a huge variety of games, everything was super clean, and the atmosphere was energetic and fun. What really made our experience stand out was the exceptional customer service ? especially from Kevin, one of the associates. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of during the all inclusive birthday, answered all our questions with a smile, and made us feel truly welcome. Kevin?s kindness and professionalism added a per

I brought my grandson there today and we had a blast. Round1 offers games from toddlers to adults, From hands-on to virtual reality. Reasonably priced considering you can stay all day. Food vendors up and downstairs with a good choice of fast foods. Air conditioning makes a world of difference especially on a hot, hazy and humid day. Easy parking from two entrances, clean public restrooms ??

Always love it here. I hope this place never closes (considering the Broadway Mall is practically a grave yard with no stores open anymore lol). I just wish they had ski ball. Every time i go i cant seem to locate it. Theres a bowling game thats similar but it doesn't do the game justice. Otherwise, this place is always a blast, great food, fun atmosphere, and great prizes.

Spacious, although somewhat outdated arcade machines Motorcycle one was great! Bowling alley is excellent, lots of pool tables

I came here with friends to have a good time bowling. We arrived, paid for shoes, and an hour of play. About 35 minutes into the game, the manager approached us and reminded us to wear the bowling shoes at all times, which we agreed to. However, my friend would occasionally take them off because they were making his feet itch. Five minutes later, a short employee came up to us and aggressively insisted that we wear the shoes; he was very unprofessional. The reason my friend didn't want to wear the shoes was

2025 EDIT: The airsoft machine is still broken after a whole year, and the new light gun game up front is also broken. The floor is now mostly claw games with cheap toys and the video game section is decreasing in size. The cost of playing games has gone up as well. There are two people walking the floor helping out instead of one, but for the aforementioned reasons I have to downgrade this to two stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW To round 1 management, I love this place. There's no other place in a wide radius that

My kids favorite place to play arcades. They have great games. A bit pricey but always a good time.

Very clean facility and entertaining way to spend the evening with a happy 5 year old. Although the adults seem to love the virtual reality machines. After playing all night, you end up with a few plastic trinkets from the prize center. All of the crane games seem to be rigged to just take your money.

My friend and I were around the area, she talked to me about this spot that had alot of games, a bowling alley all connected at a strip mall, we went to check it out. As we entered, the place is huge, legit a huge floor of games and prize machines. The first let down was the card reader to fillup your balance. They had a booth but we had a card already and the machine was there to take our card to purchase points. The swiper for the game cards do not work properly and it occured at other games as well which

Come on down to Round1 Bowling & Arcade. Part of the Broadway Common Mall, you can have some fun after you had done some shopping at IKEA, Target, or one of the mall's many stores! A large parking lot is behind the mall, divided for IKEA customers, Target customers, and Round1 customers. However, parking can get full fast, so come early! If you plan on doing the arcade, I recommend scoping out the arcade first. You should determine whether you want to focus on the claw machines or on the arcade games. You

Nice spacious area for arcade and parties! The bowling was great!

Our group had an amazing ???? time??. It's all about pure fun and letting go. The price was good also. Karaoke ?? rooms are spacious, although they can do better with the air quality, we needed AC to work in that room for our large group...they provided us with 3 fans, that didn't cut help. For that they get 4 stars?? .

I love coming here to unwind after work. Crane games are addicting as heck. There is usually a good selection of prizes... figures or plushies from popular anime series. The only thing is, some days they are clearly understaffed and you need to go out of your way to find an employee to help you obtain your prize. There is a decent selection of Japanese rhythm games (DDR, Sound Voltex, Dance Rush Stardom, Beatmania, Tetote Connect, etc.) They have a small selection of fighting game cabinets (3 Street Fighte

Really nice staff always willing to help out with the crane games. The location was quite clean and had a friendly atmosphere with staff attentive to guests needs. Will definitely bring more friends with me next time!! Enjoyed playing tetote connect with nene as well!

Pricey as expected, but the kids have a good time! We were there today and many of the games were out of order unfortunately. Giving it two stars for the arcade and bowling. They had a blast bowling. The shoe pickup and return is very cool and easy. The lack of stars is due to the food they serve. The fries weren't great and the seasoning was dull and just made them dry. They were also out of all but two seasonings and we didn't find out until after ordering multiple. The worst part was their pizza. We had

My son celebrated his birthday party there and it was delightful. They did a good job.

We love coming here in a rainy or cold day. Lots of games to play in the arcade. They also have bowling and pool downstairs. Can get pricey for the arcade but prizes are cool.

Absolutely my favorite entertainment place I've been too since moving to Long Island .always fairly clean, never have experienced to many machines out of order. Their variety of games new school and some old school hits modernized cover bases for everyone

Came in Easter Sunday before 2 pm. Not busy at all. Places a good order and they never made the food. Like no one was in this place at all. I had a small child who was hungry had to get my money back.

Loved the place but they need to expand their kitchen or staff! Came here on Saturday to play the claw games and have a karaoke party. While it wasn't long before we got a karaoke room (we had to wait for the party to finish) the wait for food took forever. It was one person operating the register and prepping food at the same time. When it got really busy they added a second person however the space they had to prep the food was very small and it took almost half hour for our food. I ran in and out cau

Has gone downhill from years ago. There is barely any staff on a Friday The staff that is there has no clue on what the heck they are doing. The prize room has rediculas prizes for kids for a high amount. It's a total rip off. That was the last time I will bring my son there after all these years! What a dump

honestly the place is so fun to come with friends and family. They have bowling and Pool tables downstairs. It's an all in one place with arcade games in the main floor. I was disappointed when the only photo booth(marvel) was out of service. Most, almost all, Claw machines are rigged they have absolutely no grip. Pool table price was great too the money went down the drain as soon as we went upstairs to the arcade. You get almost nothing in return. Again, I would come again for the accessibility it has and

Would have been better off shredding my money. When a claw is completely wrapped around something, never bumped anything, the only thing in the machine and it still mysteriously spins and falls out of the claw, that's not the difficulty set too high. That's plain theft. Extremely overpriced games. 17 games out of service as well. Think I'll be contacting my credit card company.

Take this place seriously. This arcade has the most Japan imported rhythm games I have ever seen. That being said point off for not having any tekken. Or old school arcade boxes like Galaga rather than a huge section of claw machines and other casino coin machines.

For people who remember DDR in the early 2000s this is the only place in over a decade that has actual DDR!!! I didn't have time to play today so I can't speak to it's condition but I will be back before heading home.

Sadly, not one employee had a smile or greeted guest. Everyone looked miserable. Tjr wait time for the frozen food, is ridiculous.

went here with friends!! my one friend is literally cracked at the crane game so he got us plushies and it was literally delicious, friendly reminder to get the worker to rearrange the plush if it's in a bad position, bc it's their literal job to help you, like it's scary and yeah I think the workers hate me but still

A great place with a wide variety of activities including countless arcade games, bowling, billiards and snooker tables, karaoke rooms, you name it; Round 1 has it all. Great feeling of nostalgia for an adult and a great place for kids of any age. Everything looks pristine and the arcade games are high quality. This place could easily become a hangout spot for many. Way to go Round 1!

Best arcade I've been to in the New York area as they have games I haven't seen before in other spots. They also have other entertainments like karaoke and bowling, but I can't comment much on that. Wouldn't recommend buying food from here though. Think you'll get a better deal at the Ikea that's just around the corner.

labor day 2022 update, the place is hopping. the payout on the smaller claw games has gotten better. The biger claws definitely have times where the Grip is lacking. The minecraft arcade still out of order because it is out of cards. the music games are still super tripp. -original review- The claw games are very well designed... to make you feed it more money! But otherwise, great selection of Japanese and American Arcade games. The Japanese music games/dancing games/EDM /DJ games are super trippy. Bowli

Good variety for all to play, Bowling claw machines of all kinds pinball machines pool karaoke rooms and conveniently around alot of decent food options if you want something besides what they have great place to visit with friends

Didn't know this place existed. My nephew wanted me to show him how to shoot pool, and this was the closest spot to his place. Given the arcade, the kids, and families, this place was buzzing from the parking lot. There are only 8 pool tables there, and thankfully, they're official sized 4.5' x 9' tables. They all looked to be in decent shape and well maintained. There was a waitlist, so we spent some time playing arcade games. The time flew by, and they were pretty on target with their estimate for the wai

Great place to spend some fun time with the family. For bowling, 90 minute 1 Lane is $33, plus $4 per person shoe rental. Lightest ball is 6 lbs. Each lane can be programmed to have bumper come up for individual who needs it. Fast food on site. On the arcade section, don't expect to win anything significant without investing quite a bit of credits. Round 1 is connected to Broadway Common, Target and IKEA as well as a few dine in restaurants, so access to shopping , home furnishing and good eats are just mi

Amazing selection of games and claw machines. Machines were stocked up to the brim and very easy to win. They have Pump it Up, Sound Voltex, Wacca, Dance Rush, and many more rhythm games. The cost per game is also very low, gravitating around a dollar per play. It's a lot more expensive for the claw machines, but the prizes are very good quality. They also have pool tables and bowling, both at very reasonable rates. Do not skip out on the $1 ice cream.

i love this place. i come whenever i get the chance. a lot of their claw machines are super easy to win and i love that! a lot of places you go to are ripoffs but definitely not this place. great international arcade selection as well!

This place has an insane amount of arcade games. the issue is with the claw machines is that a lot of them are scams. A good half of the machines are too weak and unwinnable, and few people can be seen walking around with prizes. the tickets do offer some potentially decent rewards though. overall a fun place but at the arcade, money gets spent rapidly.

Smells like there is a sewage leak in the lower level ping pong/pool/pinball area all effected by this terrible smell for 1 month. Its an overpowering odor that has gotten worse over time, a health inspector should be asked to go onsite and find the cause, seems like this is a major issue, enough that they should maybe not be open for business until it is corrected.

Avoid this small fry at all cost. Very unprofessional. He paused the game in middle due two of my friends had no bowling shoes while they were not playing the game. The manager was not able to manage anything and getting paid nothing. I would like the Round 1 management to improve the professionalism for their employees.

Bad maintenance on a lot of the machines as well as bad service. The people there look annoyed when you ask for assistance. This place used to have a great community but they got shoved out by the owners making terrible decisions. Don't recommend ??

We had fun playing the games. A few of the machines aren't working at all and shut down/out of service, some aren't working well... Our machine broke down completely while it still had money and credits in it. The kid that works there literally had to open the entire machine to get it unjammed and back up and working again. The prizes in the shop aren't as good as they used to be either so that was a bit of a bummer ??

I had a terrible experience at Round One. The employees were not only rude but also aggressively unprofessional. I felt uncomfortable from the moment I interacted with them. Instead of being helpful, they were dismissive and hostile. It's clear they don't know how to treat customers with respect. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I won't be returning. Very disappointing experience all around.

We had a great time here for our sons birthday I want to especially thank Kiara I might be dueling it wrong she was awesome helping us with a fresh ice cream & extra clean scooper to accommodate my fear with my sons allergies! I truly appreciated her attention all the workers were extremely nice! Lots of variety of games! Bowling lanes were nice too!

Short employee ?Ricky? was very unprofessional, and tried to fight us. The manager was still good and tried to assess the situation. They did turn off our game in the middle and we ended up leaving the location.

Never again! Birthday party booked online. Extra food ordered online. No party room. No party host. Was told the food we ordered online was just an estimate so we Ordered additional food that didn't come out until after the party was over ?manager stared blankly at us and wouldn't let us cancel

Really cool place BUT we had a terrible experience with the karaoke staff. We had done bowling first which has a visible timer on the screen and the lane stops working once our hour was up. We assumed we would be notified similarly with the karaoke room. there was no timer and an employee came in and told us rudely told us our time was up which was fine until they charged us an extra 30 min. They were nasty about it and when we asked why there wasn't a timer they said ?it's on your receipt? but when we purc

I work with adults with special needs and we often visit round1 for our fun day Friday?s Vinny is an amazing young man. He always greets us with a smile. The other staff are great too. Unfortunately, due to photo consent, we are unable to post photos our amazing people having fun.but here's the picture of one of the staff?????????

I enjoyed it , plenty of arcade games .Japanese Imports and of course Sega my favorite arcade games Daytona! You can play ping pong , bowling n shoot some pool, karaoke rooms are pretty cool too. Also they also have fast food and plenty of alcohol ,the prices are reasonable too. Fun with a girlfriend or with the family.

I sincerely hope the Round 1 management team pays attention to my review. I have always enjoyed my visits to Round 1 Long Island, but my recent experience on June 30, 2024 was infuriating and has left me and my friends feeling extremely upset. We were a group of friends trying to win a Goomba from the crane machine. This particular machine involves using a claw to grab a ball and drop it onto an iron grid. If the ball lands on a grid square with a blue sticker, you win the prize. Despite numerous attempts

SAM working in the food section is amazing. Very attentive!! ASK for him. The whole Round1 team here is just amazing. You must go!

Asian Arcade Style with many prize winning vending machines and old school games. Split in two levels. Downstairs is more family friendly with food, drink with bowling and pool area. Ground level for more young crowd with arcade game focused.

This was my first Round 1 experience since I'm from Canada where all we have is DNB. I'm a huge fan of arcade games, specifically coin pushers, so I was very excited to make the trek from NYC during my trip all the way to Hicksville. The Round 1 is an easy walk away from the LIRR station and located in a bigger mall. There's a main floor and a basement where the bowling, billiards and other games are located. The main floor houses the arcade games, rhythm games, and claw machines. There was a great selecti

Great place to visit over the weekend to have a bit of fun. Went over with my family and played a couple rounds of bowling. Had a great time and food was great. Staff were friendly.

Games are okay, prizes are decent. Price per game average 10pts, $110 gets you 800pts to play. Came on a Sunday and the claw machines are bare...which is incredibly disappointing...

Great place to play some games and have a few beers! Lots of machines and games to play, but a lot of them may be broken most of the time. Sadly it is also usually pretty busy and the staff cannot handle the long lines at times.

New crane prizes compared to last time, and still hella fun with friends & family. The place is clean, the staff are chill & assist when help is needed (for ex., prize didn't fall into the slot because it's stuck to the claw), and the majority of crane/gatcha games are winnable= fun place

Good arcade but needs improvement please add Maimai cabinets and taiko no tatsujin cabinets please also please fix the aime card readers on wacca and Chunithm cabinets as well fix the ddr pads on the 20th anniversary cabs please round 1! Thanks!

Andi is the greatest round1 worker in the history of round1 workers. Please give her a raise, honestly she was the major highlight of the evening. I mean that. 10/10

This place is really fun with a few drawbacks that I wish would be addressed. There's only one good air hockey table thats always out of service, spider box boxing bags are deflated and hard as a rock when you punch them, and some crane machines are (particularly fun zone) are almost unwinnable because they are overfilled. Overall, Round 1 is an amazing place, I just wish whoever was in charge of the maintenance/machines took care of them a little bit better.

We came here for some quick bowling on a Saturday afternoon. There were plenty of lanes available but it took over 20 minutes waiting in line to pay and get shoes. The lane we were assigned was fine but unfortunately was a bit wonky. The pins would frequently be knocked down by the rake after the first roll of the frame which would result in the computer thinking that the player bowled a spare. This probably happened around 15-20 times during the two games which led to inaccurate scoring. Another minor but

I have never seen such a scam claw machine, it is really a pure scam! I spent $102 to buy a game card, but I didn't grab any dolls. The doll grabbing is really useless. I will never come back! It's a scam. I came here for my birthday and it was a complete bummer. Scam!

Great place, a lot of different games to play, wait is usually not too bad for any particular game, several VR options for kids and adults alike

I keep coming back here. The game selection is amazing, especially if you're a fan of rhythm games and fighting games. The UFO Catchers are extremely fair and they give you hints on how to get the prizes. The ticket games are really varied, more so than Dave and Buster's. The bowling alley was really nice and clean and the shoes were some of the most comfortable rented bowling shoes I've uses. I love this place.

Pretty nice place for fun, a lot ufo catcher and gaming machine from the japan, u can spend all day here, they also have the party space for bowling, can't wait for next visit here!!!

In once sentence to describe this place, a Japanese Dave n Buster. They should change the name to this place. The name doesn't server this place justice. Is it a great lounge place and perfect for children birthday party. The arcade here is Japanese theme games where is more interactive than button bashing. They have dancing, drumming, guitar, touching, swiping, virtual shooting, etc. Very different games than Dave n buster or your typical American arcade. There are also bowling, ping pong, and pool f

Affordable and fun. Had a great time there. They have ping-pong, pool, bowling and bunch of arcade games.

I would not be surprised if this place loses business soon. The employees look absolutely miserable. I using the woman?s bathroom when a man employee went in while I was still in there and didn't even care I informed the female employee who attended and she completely ignored me.

Nice place. Very clean. Upstairs, they have arcade games & a store for prizes. Money is added to a card & tracks your ticket. downstairs, they have a bowling alley, arcade & a couple of other things along with food. I will have to try downstairs on my next visit, we spent our time upstairs

Brand new in Broadway Mall - just opened July 1st! It's pretty fantastic with arcade games, claw machine games from Japan, purikura photobooth (only $6!), bowling, billiards and ping pong, and private karaoke rooms. Also have food and alcohol. Everything is very reasonably priced! I really enjoyed it here and I hope they stay!

Round1 Bowling Amusement is located inside of the Broadway Commons Shopping Mall. Round1 Bowling Amusement offers Entertainments for the families. This location Restrooms and Facility was Clean with Plenty of Free Parking available.

Compared to Japan the crane games are extremely overpriced but the variety of the video games and standard arcade games are good. The picture booths were all broken though ...

Japanese arcades imported from Japan. Crane machines, shooters, racing, DDR, etc, they have it!They have a small bowling ally too, along with billiards and ping pong. Great for kids and adults alike.

I recently visited Round 1 Bowling & Arcade on a weekday and had an absolute blast! The variety of activities available is impressive ? from bowling to arcade games, there's something for everyone. The bowling lanes were well-maintained, and the automatic scoring system made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The arcade area is packed with a wide range of games, both classic and modern, which kept us entertained for hours. The prizes were decent too, making it fun to redeem our tickets. The place was cle

I don't know what's up with the bad reviews but arcade and claw machines are fully working. Claw machines are definitely winnable. All claw machines are full and there are kiosks located all over the place so you can refill your card. A new card has a 2$ activation fee. Tickets get transferred into your card. A very fun experience for claw machines and arcade games. They also have arcade games from Japan. The bowling area is downstairs from the entrance of round 1. 10/10 experience.

A freaking maximum fun time if you're a gamer or need a spot where you can't decide on one activity With friends. Located in a mall so if you get bored of shopping or you want to find an outfit after you beat M. Bison...twice This is the spot!!!!

The place has everything you need to have fun. Bowling, Pool, Karaoke, basic arcade to imported Japanese arcade games. The price is decent. Would definitely recommend.

One of my favorite hang out places with friends. They recently added way more crane machines, which is the most popular thing there. They also have karaoke, bowling, billiards, and darts on the lower level.

They replaced many of the video game machines with claw machines. And these games are expensive

Had fun, but couldn't get food. They didn't have pizza.

Waited on line for the Grand Opening and I have to say I was pretty blown away. Rates are fair for almost everything, and the selection is pretty INSANE. Only reason I dropped a star is two machines I was super hype to see were not running, and the NESiCA servers weren't live. My new home away from home for sure! Edit: The broken machines are now up and running! No complaints!

Money under the drain. Way too expensive. Every little game uses a whole bunch of credits. U can spend 100 dollars in 15 minutes that how fast our credits were consumed. Good place to hang out though

nice place with a good variety of games. I'm a big fighting game fan and LOVED being able to play on real deal cabs. that being said the only reason this place didnt get a 5 star from me is that some of the joysticks/buttons were pretty worn out and could use a swap which is a really simple fix(60 in parts and about 5-10 mins of labor). other wise this place would have been an easy 5 for the arcade alone. I'll definitely be coming back.

I don't know how you guys find the cheapest, crappiest table tennis nets, but you are consistently able to provide them to your customers. If you touch the ping pong tables, the nets collapse instantly. I realize almost nobody cares about ping pong, but why bother having tables without functioning nets? Also, the netting behind one of the tables was removed so all the balls go into the Arcade. On another note, had my kid?s birthday party here and it was a very good value and the kids had a great time.

Great place for all ages. An arcade with fighting and music games, there are claw games if you want to win something for your date, rhythm games to work up a sweat, the classic shooter style, and beer and bowling for the older crowd. Awesome place with something for everyone.

Fun arcade machines that have a fair payout in machine prizes and friendly staff

Update review for October 2024: I've changed this from 1 star to 4 stars because there's a particular employee named Jennifer that makes the experience here much better and she never ever makes you feel like you're bothering her. Jennifer was always willing to help even when she's busy stocking up machines. She's the only person I saw on the floor for help that night and I felt bad for bothering her to help us get our winnings, but she always says to not worry and let her know whenever we needed assistance

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
