Took a group here for some fun bowling, arcade and snacking. Many enjoyed the bowling but we did have some machines stop often where a staff member had to come and reset it. This was a bit disappointing as many got discouraged and left to play games during the resetting only to breakdown a few times after that. It's a good size place with a big area of games. Out of all the round 1s in Southern California, this one take the grand prize on worst place to bring your kids. I'm a claw master and this place is money hungry for making these games so hard, what a joke. No double tap on majority of claw machines. Came on a Saturday night and it was slow inside, not many people there and now I know why. I played for a few minutes and realized this place isn't paying out. Never coming to this location again. Waste of a 2 hour drive.

After seeing all the negative reviews on here, I wanted to take my chances and see if this place really is as bad as people described. However, the moment I walked in, I was instantly filled with pure dread. Almost all the claw machines were fully stocked, and from this I could tell that they were impossible to win. I am a huge fan of claw machine games but not when the odds are so stacked against you. It didn't even feel like a "near chance" because even when the claw has good placement and grip on the toy, it rarely gets a chance to move closer to the chute. It almost always immediately drops the toy at the top. The exception would be for tiny key chain sized toys, the odds are better for those machines. I will never be returning here for claw machines, maybe just arcade games.

The first time we went here with my 3 kids, we bought $35 worth of points on the card and all of my kids won a large toy from the claw machine AND we had a handful of points to play a few games in the back section. I thought this place was the perfect mix of challenging but still winnable after a few tries, for my kids. Great for rhythm games, though it's a mini Round1 due to the absence of a bowling alley. Additionally, there's an unusually high number of claw machines compared to other attractions. One thing to note: while Round1 stays open until 11 PM, the mall closes at 8PM, however they say you can use the food court entrance after mall hours to get there. This Round1 doesn't have it's own dedicated entrance. During mall hours I would go through Macy's (fastest) or Nordstrom (not as fast, but works).

I really enjoy this arcade, and feel as though some of the reviews are a bit misleading. However, they aren't wrong. This is the main downside of this place: the medium and large claws here are almost impossible because of how weak they are; they are high unit price and will almost never pay out. It drains your money like nobody's business. This place is fun, but the staff is terrible. We don't expect top-tier customer service here, but we do expect some basic help when things go wrong. One of the claw machines was broken ? it took our money but didn't work. I thought I swiped my card the wrong way, but after trying a few times, I realized the machine itself was the problem. Fantastic arcade. We never leave without winning 4-5 plush stuffed animals from the crane games. If you know what you're doing with crane games, you can always win. Ignore the negative reviews from people who are clueless. Round 1 is a lot of fun. The food however is WAY overpriced and mediocre. Arcade games are all brand new. They clean and disinfect the place constantly which is nice. It's never crowded and there are never any lines. Highly recommended.

There are so many claw machines, which are my favorite arcade machines ever, and to me, they have the best likeliness to win such high-quality prizes! And there are higher-quality ticket games to play, like Spongebob, Angry Birds, Gold Railroad, and Power Pros. Even better, they don't play annoying sound effects when earning tickets, which is something that Dave & Buster's is still doing. I won many prizes when this place just opened. Now it's impossible. An employee even admitted it's rigged and they change how the hand grasps the prize. Don't waste your money. The ice cream is a good deal though.

This place doesn't have bowling or pool. Also it's just littered with way too many claw games. Need more Japanese games that make Round One what it is. More ticket games would help too. This places closes at 11 which is pretty early compared to the one in Santa Ana. It's a mini version and could be better with adjustments.

It seems their food staff aren't eager to work there; they aren't welcoming, don't smile, and lack respect. I ordered an ice cream cone and a sundae through the machine, but she gave me an ice cream in a cup instead of a cone. This place might be enough to breath new life into Mission Mall. Attended the grand opening today as of 11/2/24, and was very impressed with my first impressions. Complete. Total. Ripoff. I knew claw machines are a scam, but these are on another level. Do not waste your money here.

No adult should walk in here alone UNLESS it's for a 99? single scoop of generic ice cream to enjoy while your significant other is being much less thrifty while in the Mall...

Not my type of arcade place. If you are a fan of arcade of 90s with beat em all and fighting games, there is none of that here. Way too many claw machines and few people play them. Hopefully round1 can rotate the game list here.

Located on 1st floor under the food court, there's a good amount of claw machines and some rhythm games.

My son loves coming here. Food, games and prizes are great! Morgan and team are AWESOME!

Half of the arcade is full of claw machines which is sad. Needs more regular games.

Too many claw games. Between those and ticket games, there's almost nothing there that isn't some form of gambling.

Should?ve not built a Round 1 when there's no bowling, no billiards, and no lot of fighting games ?????
