Been going here a long time and I seen a decline the food isn't as good the arcade laser tag and bumper cars are barely open. The lanes are so expensive you can find good deals on Groupon sometimes but if you go in there I dss double as much unless you order the tickets on another site. If you get times lane it will cut you off mid game which I feel like it should let you finish. Or at least give an option but they just cut you off
Bowling, arcade, food, bar, and so much fun. Courteous service throughout the facility. Clean, well maintained venue. Plenty of parking in a safe area.
Was a nice bowling alley, and I had a decent arcade attached. As long as you plan ahead to make sure you get a lane. It wasn't too expensive, especially with a group, and the pizza was pretty good, too.
The balls and pins get stuck almost every time we play here which is annoying. Prices are decent. Don't come for the food though. The last two times I ordered a craft beer on tap it was flat and what looked like mold chunks floating on top. Most likely from dirty lines.
Very fun! A bit pricey, but very good for events since it has laser tag, bowling, and an arcade! Plenty of options. If you don't like large crowds I'd recommend going on a random week day.
Party here tonight and it has been so many years since I went bowling my husband and I had fun even though we both weren't the best. Can't wait to try again I would definitely come back. There seemed to be so many parties going on.
Very upset We pushed our call bell about twice I went up spoke to the guy stated we need help orderly ignoring me very upset the pins kept on falling throughout the game we spend money every weekend 200.00 a week now we're not coming back
We loved bowling here. We were glad to see how far this place has come with a laser tag and bumper car area. This is exactly what Canandaigua needs for a winter family fun area.
The Pro Shop Operator Drilled my bowling ball upside down and backwards. I ASSUME your pso is a professional but this is the crap I get. Never going back here again. See picture. The purple ball is my main ball I brought for him to copy.
Very poor customer service! We tried to call 3 times, no one picked up, so we decided to go there. Once we were there many lines were opened, but they refused to give us one and they told us we would have to wait two hours, but they wouldn't let us leave in the meantime to come back 2 hours later. The workers were very ignorant and did not care about their customers.
Was here with some friends trying to get a lane and was quickly dissapointed by the customer service, they had many open lanes which they werent willing to open and they also didnt want to give us a reservation for a leter time, we wanted to leave our number so they could call us when a lane opened and they said they couldn't. We had also tried calling before going but they didnt pick up. Very bad customer service would not recommend.
Was here for a birthday party and also my first time here. The grandkids and I had a lot of fun. Pizza was ok. My french fries were just how I liked them. Well done. The young man at the counter was super friendly and polite. Definitely will have to visit again.
Very busy place. Lots of activities for families. Prices are reasonable for a day/night of entertainment.
Fine bowling experience+ food and drinks. We had pizza and wings that were better than you'd expect for a bowling alley, ya know? Update: I had symptoms of food poisoning that night and the day after. Not sure I would recommend the wings anymore haha Bathrooms were clean and the staff cleaned up after us while we ate. Only thing they missed was that their tvs had sports on display, rather than wacky bowling strike/spare cartoons that I remember back in the 2010's haha (obviously haven't been bowling since,
If you're looking for a place to bowl with the bumpers up and you're above the age of 12, this is not the place to go! Me and my friends wanted to bowl like a bunch of 5 year olds with the bumpers up. So, I asked an employee to put the bumpers up and he responded very rudely saying I wasn't 12 and I didn't have a disability per company policy. When I told him I actually did have a disability he disagreed with me and told me I didn't have a disability. I also think it's bullshit when you pay 120 dollars for
This is a fun bowling alley! It's tucked way away from the main road, 5 &20, so it's a bit hard to find without GPS, but worth it. The lanes are nice, the food is so so, but the employees are really helpful! The arcade is quite fun as well! Over all just a great place to bring friends or family for a good time.
Great atmosphere. Good prices.
I spent my Saturday 10/21/23 here for my nephews birthday. We did the arcade laser tag and bumper cars. I was very disturbed and disappointed with the staff there. They all looked miserable and had no sense of being warm or welcoming. When we went to do bumper cars the gentlemen was more busy eating his cup of ice cream then bothering to do his job. Then an older gentleman white hair and beard over on laser tag was no better. We had been waiting on line for the other laser tag to finish when the kids decide
Great place to bowl and group rates. Also great for kid's birthday parties and other functions. It has changed from the 70s
Roseland has always been a great experience for us, but this time was exceptional. We had scheduled a birthday party for my special needs son and his friends and it was perfect for them! All the kids had a great time! None of the adults were stressed out! Food was great. Staff was friendly. My son was so happy he asked to do it there again next year which we probably will! Very happy!
Plenty of lanes, clean and friendly. We bowled for an hour then did a round of Lazer tag. Would definitely recommend!
Had a birthday party for my son. I didn't buy the party package I set up a few booths in the cafe. It was a great time and a reasonable price!!
Best place to go for entertainment or to just have fun! I went to a freind?s birthday party and I loved the games they had there escpailly the food and ice cream cake and bowling and laser tag was the best part yet! Definitely would recommend great place to go if your bored and having nothing to do or to have a birthday party. My first time there was the best time I've ever had! Would recommend and I hope everyone has a great week! ??????????????
Took my team of 10 for the 1 game of bowling, lasertag and bumper cars coupon. Everyone had a blast! Staff was awesome. Were there about 2 hours.
Between the arcade, laser tag, and bumper cars.. My family had a blast. Price is right! A little caf?. Add on some bowling after. One stop shop for a family fun day! Will be back!!
They don't let you finish your game if it turns 9 pm, which was really annoying, with only 2 frames left to go. We were even willing to pay extra
Me and my girlfriend have been going there every year for a birthday party and we saved over 5000 tickets and now they won't take them even tho they told us they don't expire
Great place to bowl, lots of fun with friends!
They include your shoes with your bowling price. They have clean floors and a clean facility. Good prices. Good music. Their floor is a little too waxy, but that's ok.
Our family spent $80 for 2 children plus beverages for them to bring home approximately $5 each in candy even though they had 750 ?? tickets each. High price fun for the young!
We went to their New Years Eve party with another family and everyone had the best time. 4 adults and 4 boys around the age of 10. We will definitely go next year! Bowling, arcade and food were wonderful. The staff was awesome, they were busy and still extremely nice and helpful! We also went on a Sunday afternoon with our extended family for an outing and once again the bowling, food, drinks, and arcade were perfect. I can't recommend this place enough. My boys asked if we could go every weekend!
We went to the VIP room for a birthday gathering! Very clean and great space! The young man at the cafe was the sweetest. I am excited to go back
Bought a Groupon for this place and went to use it tonight, March 23, 2024 around 7:45 PM. Upon walking in, I walked up to the counter and I greeted the older blonde haired lady who was working the counter (please note that she did not greet me, I greeted her?she didn't say a word to us if I'm being honest. Quite frankly, she didn't even look in our direction). Anyways, I told her I was going to use a Groupon and she asked her male coworker ?our lanes aren't open until 10 right?? And he said ?we have an ope
Was a great time today. Nice employees, nice spot.
Call ahead of time to know if one could reserve a lane. They do not but said it wasn't to crowded. Got there and they had a fundraiser and were book solid from 2 to 6. Went for nothing.
Good arcade and fun to bring kids to. Not the cleanest but it's still decently clean. Good for if you're looking for a fun place to go for not much money.
We had a great time, the music was fantastic, and it wasn't too crowded for a Saturday evening! The food options were a bit limited but the food we got really was good! The pricing was good, we payed $75 for 2 hours for 4 people and had plenty of time for 3 games.
My kids always have a great time at the arcade. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We've done birthday parties here and their package deals are a really good deal compared to other places.
Had a good experience here for my daughter?s birthday party. Service was decent, and it was nice to see the digital enhancements to the bowling monitors that give more information and statistics. Kids also had fun at the fun center putting tokens in the arcade games.
Drove 30 minutes just to be told there was no open bowling when it said there was on their website. Complete deal breaker right there. Otherwise (I've been here a few times) it's sort of a decent place to bowl. Lanes aren't in great shape and it's very crowded. Oil is entirely inconsistent and the music is incredibly obnoxious. Great for kids, has an arcade and everything. Seems mostly to get by through kids and being like the only lanes around that are open reliably.
Birthday part for my 6-year-old great-grandchild. They had everything from laser tag to bowling and extra tokens for the games and even a private room for the cake. It was so much fun watching all these children having such a blast. They make their own pizza and it's very good to serve at these parties. If you're looking for a place to book a party for especially children in the Canandaigua area I would suggest this place. They also let you bring in your own cake.
Always fun! Helpful Staff. Clean safe facility. Recomended.
My families experience here (at the fun center) was fantastic. All staff was friendly and helpful, especially a young man who was running the laser tag/bumper cars. My son's were the only ones to do both and he let them do both activities for a chunky amount of time. Even though the arcade was busy(birthday party) when we were playing games and redeeming tickets, people were polite and it wasn't an issue compared to what you would find with a crowd in Rochester etc. Great value for the activities/time/and
Second year in a row we held our daughters birthday party here. I just want to thank the staff for their hard workers and I don't have any complaints. Perfect for the kids and money well spent.
3/23 - had a bday party there, went on a Saturday ?? terriblely overcrowded, couldn't move in the arcade area at all, and rude lady at the ticket counter. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Won't go on a weekend again. Even the kids wanted to leave. 9/22 - We had a blast and would definitely go back . There is laser tag, bumper cars, food, and bar. It was kind of pricey and the bartender was never actually at the bar we had to keep going to find him.
Took my Son here for his 5th birthday. He had the time of his life. Nice clean building. Bumper cars gives the kids a nice longggg ride. Games are fun. Only negative is the main entrance is right in the middle of all the arcade noise. I'd def go back here! Bowing next time!
Great lanes. Bowled in a tournament here today. Top notch facility in all ways.
FCSFL had our Domestic violence fundraiser here this past weekend. Tim and his staff are so easy to work with. They have the best enegery and the food was amazing! Highly recommend have events here!!!!
Fun entertaining bowling ally and more. The lanes are clean and sleek with modern scoring systems. There are some private lanes that are setup for parties of ages. The lounge is huge with lots of table space. There is a fun zone with video games, laser tag, bumper cars and more.
We had a great time with all activities in the fun zone area!
This is a good place to have fun with family and friends, very crowded on weekends
The Rosellamb Bowl in Canandaigua, New York, is a well-maintained and family-friendly bowling alley. It offers various amenities to ensure a fun and enjoyable experience for all visitors. The establishment is kept clean, and the staff is known for their friendly and helpful demeanor. The bowling alley features two distinct types of bowling alleys. The standard bowling alley is accessible to everyone, while the M1 special bowling alley can be rented for a few hours at a slightly higher cost. This provides a
Don't come here often but have always had good experiences. We only use the bowling sections and not the kids' area, so my review only covers that. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the package deals they have are pretty reasonable. We even reserved the VIP area a few times for us when my son with autism came with us, which was a nice, little more secluded and quiet, out of the way area. Everything seems in good working order (it sucks when you go to an alley where this isn't the case!) and my k
This was a very nice place for my family to get out and enjoy some time together. We had a lot of fun bowling and the snacks were really good, we didn't get to the arcade since we ran out of time but from what I've heard from my siblings from other times they'd been there, it's really nice.
The kids loved it! We were very happy with the service, the people that worked there were friendly and there was a lot to do. Despite other reviews saying the bathrooms weren't clean, I found them decent. Definitely worth the trip out !
Kids loved arcade and lazer tag
Lots of activities for the children. Had a great time with the grandkids at a birthday party. Well organized.
I'm a little disappointed with the party host we had for our childrens party. There was passive aggressive comments from the party host. We wanted two sheets of pizza, which we pay for and our host was hesitant to put the order through, so much so that my fiance decided against the second pizza. A few minutes later, her friend stepped in to help and went and ordered a second pizza. When we had to go for the kids to do lazer tag, the host cleaned everything up and said sarcastically "well now you have lunch
My son was injured there on 2/5/2022 by an employee. I've called multiple times and have still not talked to their head manager/owner. ?We will take a message and they will call you back?. I do not feel they have taken this serious and are just choosing to ignore the issue. My 6 year old child not only had his forearm injured (he received medical care), he has trauma from that place and I really don't blame him. So much for having his birthday there. Heck, I should?ve received a phone call from the owner!
One of the better bowling alleys in the finger lakes region. They also have an arcade with laser tag and bumper cars. There's even a cocktail lounge. It's a good venue to host a birthday party for a young kid.
We went here last minute with our 4 and 6 year old. We all had a great time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This place has beenup and running for more then 3 years so slightly warn but very clean all in all. Highly recommend going we will most definitely do this again.
We come here every year for a birthday party, the guys love it! They do offer party packages, but I'm only giving three stars because they used to offer pizza with wings and chips or sub platters, but now its just pizza and soda.
I wish I could give this a higher rating but I just took my son and daughter here for part of my son's 4th birthday and the female behind the counter at around 4p on friday the 6th was just plain awful, we were excited to be there and our son only being 4 was pumped and she was just a deflated balloon. No smile, a frown in fact, and even less personality. Treating us as if it were a burden to do her job, well I've worked in customer service for 10+ and, no matter what was going on personally or how much
Nice place to bowl. Ask when there are times for open lanes. They have different leagues to join
This place was a blast! My boyfriend and I took his 15 year old cousin here and we got a great deal on bowling (they offer an option to charge you by time instead of by how many games you bowl, which was perfect for us) then we played laser tag with a group of local kids. The whole building appeared very clean and well maintained. I wish the staff had been more friendly, but it was almost the end of the night and I'm sure they were eager for the last few hours to be over with.
Had a birthday party here. The card machines were apparently down in the entire place as well as the ATM machine. So most people don't carry cash on them, so none of the adults could get drinks at the bar. But somehow I was able to pay for the party with my card..... But other then that situation, they have a party planner that is there when ever you need something. Bowling, pizza, arcade games... The kids had a blast! Would of got 4 stars if they could have gotten the card machine situation figured out!
I'm only giving 3 stars because of the variety of things to do here but from my experience alone, I'd really have to rate it 1 or maybe 2 stars. They were extremely busy and wait times to order food or drinks was ridiculously long, we decided to play 2 games of bowling and we got through basically the whole first game before we even got a chance to order just 4 drinks... my fiance and I had to take turns waiting in line since we were trying to play our game and it really took away from the fun... especially
I definitely recommend the VIP area well worth the extra money. Not very crowded more secluded more private. Added new machines & games - nice to see people there again! Normal may be coming back ??
The service here is great! Employees are amazing and very helpful. We go every week for Saturday bowling and my daughter loves being in the weekend league. We also bowl on Sundays in the family fun league which is affordable and gives us afternoon entertainment. I know the prices for regular bowling are going up but they have competitive pricing with other alleys.
Good place for some family fun! Bowling, bumper cars, laser tag, small game room and food. Good choices for bowling. Redemption bowling is well worth it. Check for coupons on website to more discounts. Only minus was alot of the games were broken. Area for bumper cars and laser tag is small but still a very fun place to go. They are generous with winning tickets.
Always a great time. The staff will do whatever they need to in any situation. What you expect for family entertainment and quality customer service. Owner works hard to continue to keep curremt and fun.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great fun!
My son and I love going here. We love to bowl and the arcade birthday packages are great!
The bowling is good. Bumper cars are fun, but a little pricey. Laser tag is pretty standard. Would be nice if they had more than the "spin to win" games in the arcade. It's a fun way to spend an afternoon though.
Pros: lots of games to play and we won lots of tickets, also intense laser tag area. We had fun as 2 adults and a 6 year old. The place was also kept clean and tidy. The 6 year old won 3 stuffed animals out of the claw machine at once! Cons: Bummer to find out the age/height restrictions at the location, not online beforehand... we checked out the website which advertises various package deals.. Once at the location, the lady behind the counter informed us that the specific package deal with 125 tokens was
There was a short girl with glasses who apparently her mom works there also, the daughter was very rude and lied about saying we had 4 jackpots but we only had 2 ,she said she wrote out 4 tickets when she only wrote one so why would she have to write out 4 when we only asked about 2 then when I asked for my money back for the token I barley used for me and my daughter theree was a problem and we had to get the manager , he helped us with no problem but the one girl was beyond rude to me when I went up to he
Had an INCREDIBLE experience here planning an event for work (MO's Patient Appreciation Day aka "Fun Day"). The staff went above and beyond in every way- from making sure the entire facility was in tip top shape to coming up with ways we could make the event even more customized and fun for our patients. We had over 500 people attending and they were so flexible with the changes that came as we got closer to the event and helping me make the event as successful as possible. AND our staff had a BLAST jumping
Pretty cool place! But had a party and all of the workers have no personality and aren't helpful. If it wasn't for that it would have been great.
I came here for my 30th birthday following dinner. I booked an 8-10 time slot for the VIP dinner ran a little late so I called ahead of time to try and pay before I got there because so.e of my dinner party had gotten there before me and I didn't want them to have to wait. I wish I could remember the name of whom I spoke with however when I called he had a bitter attitude and was mad that we weren't there on time which to me shouldn't matter that much because I'm paying for the time as if I was there alread
Fun place. Took 5 teens and myself and had a blast. The staff was super helpful, patient and nice. Prices are reasonable for a fun night out with the kids or a group of friends.
Went here for my son's 13 birthday did the laser tag and bumper cars and played in the arcade then did bowling afterwards we all had a blast loved it my kids are now wondering when we could go back
Great fun, our Canandaigua VAMC team members practice there once a week for the National Veterans Golden Age Games. They recently updated the electronic scoring machines which are a great improvement.
Took my kid here to go laser tagging. As I was waiting in line there wasn't a game going on and I was wondering when the next game would start. I went up to the counter in the arcade and asked a middle-aged woman when the next game would start. Her response was the following " the game will start when it starts. go wait back in line and I'll tell you when it starts". Absolutely terrible service. What else do you expect from minimum wage to above minimum wage employees. After reading the reviews you would th
Great fun place for kids. Reasonable prices. bumper cars, laser tags.
Have visited here half a dozen times in the last handful of years, and have never been disappointed by the service or atmosphere. Perfect for family time or fun times with friends.
Omg. It was an ama,ing birthday party. The attendant was great guiding the party n making sure everything was flowing. Pizza n cake were so good. Everyone had a great time. Wonderful place to have a party little pricey but it was well worth it
The laser tag, bumper cars, arcade, and time freak were really really fun! Best bumper cars I've ever ridden! The only thing keeping it from a five-star review is the fact that we couldn't bowl. 40 lanes were reserved for league play, leaving only a few for all the other people there who wanted to bowl (at the bowling alley, haha). We will definitely be back, though!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
