Had reservations for 7; set of score card, and at 7:04, it said we had already used 10 minutes of our two hour slot. I advised the lady at the counter who told me that time starts at whatever time your reservation is set for. Clearly, this still didn't make sense because it was only 7:04, and our reservation was for 7. She said she would put the time back. I continued bowling only to realize the time had not been put back. Someone else was not at the counter who finally put the time back. Our waitress was

Had a birthday party for my 12 year old daughter in the escape room. The kids loved it and the entire party went exactly as it was planned. Maria booked our party and was there to take great care of us. If I had to give one negative comment it would be the pizza wasn't very good, but its a bowling alley not a pizzeria. Thanks again to Maria and her staff for hosting a great party for my kid.

Amazing service by one of the ladies at the front desk. Had a party of 16. Balls kept getting stuck, which of course takes time to reset and waiting repeatedly for someone to come. Waitress came to the table that arrived after us first, did allow us to order and she was good. Food arrived in bot which we didn't know it would. Food was mid, drinks with liquor were okay- ordered long islands. Shortest island ever. We actually called a manager over to show her our food - nachos with beef, two orders- compared

Had an awesome time at RollHouse Solon! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the bar area really stood out. Katie, the bartender, took great care of my family ? super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. They also have a huge selection of bourbon, which was a pleasant surprise for a bowling spot! Even better, it's 20% off on Wednesdays ? definitely coming back for that. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

I felt like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. I was waiting with my dog in the car to pick up my daughter from the Wednesday night bowling league when tornado sirens started blaring. Lexi was absolutely amazing at allowing me to take shelter with my dog while we waited out the storm. I was so impressed watching how calmly she took charge of the situation? Calling her supervisor? Quietly alerting each team that they should seek shelter in the bathroom? And making sure all were safe! Thank you Lexi!

Always have the best time at rollhouse. Been coming here for about 30 years. Pool tables rock and Katie always takes great care of me!

Came out for my birthday and there were a lot of teens trying to have a good time but there were a bunch of them. We were also trying to to have fun but it was a lot going on. Aaliah went above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service and we appreciated everything she did for us. Just for that we will be back.

Very beautiful atmosphere. Lots of fun activities to do with the family or a date night. Ordered garlic parmesan wings, was delicious. Staff was very nice. I wanted to give 5 stars but some of the arcade games was broken.

Let me just tell you what. This is the nicest, cleanest most in order and taken care of bowling facility that me and my party of 9 have ever went to. Shane. Ella. And Lexie. And the new servers whose name I can't remember gave us a white glove service they were so helpful, fun and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back very soon if not all the time for the bowling. The sweet arcade and AMAZING LASER TAG space they had. They all deserve a raise. And to be recognized for their work y

RollHouse Entertainment is such a fun place! I took my kids there and they had a blast playing the gel blaster game ? they didn't want to leave! While they were having fun, I got to relax and enjoy great service from the bartender, Katie. She was super nice and courteous the entire time. We'll definitely be back!

We came at opening time on Sunday. We made a reservation in advance and I am glad we did, because this place became packed quickly. The bowling area felt clean, and there were plenty of balls to choose from. I loved that we were able to turn the bumpers on for the kids and leave them off for the adults. There is also an attached arcade for those interested in those types of games. Can't speak to the quality of the food and drink but I did see plenty of people indulging.

First time here, thought it was a great time. But no lane kept malfunctioning, got ground beef nachos that had a teaspoon of meat on it but a whole tray full of chips @ cheese no toppings at all. But if that was not an enough my card was charged a 3rd time unauthorized 18.84. I am disputing with my bank you guys deserved none of my money moments before closing however I had left hours before closing time. Not only am I looking for a refund for the unauthorized charge I will never be back and I don't suggest

The food was pretty good. Had a great time hanging with my cousins and winning prizes for the 5 year old. She just loved all 8 stuffed animals and had the time of her life.

Tons of FUN! Lots to do. The robot is just SO cool. Pretty good pizza. Went for a kids birthday party, and it was a success.

UPDATE: I had to come back and correct my previous review because Cullen was amazing and gave us a $75 gift card and waived the food on our bill to assist us with our troubles. Thank you Cullen for coming back and making it a much better experience for us because we liked the location and will come back because of him. Original review: our lanes broke over 10 times and kept needing to reset, balls never coming back, managers were rude everytime we asked them to fix things, pins missing?.

Did my Son 15th birthday party. Staff was amazing, good food and fun time. Very happy with service. Maria the party coordinator was easy to work with and made whole experience positive .

Was bought out a few years ago. A nice place to bowl, but can be pricy if you are not getting the early morning specials. Monday through Thursday before 5 PM they have open bowling. It's $32 per lane, per hour, plus the $5.50 shoe rental! If you can, get their summer deal 'Cosmic Tuesdays' after 6PM. You'll pay only $15 per person and it includes shoes. Nice arcade area and small karaoke bar at the location as well. Great for keeping busy while your team takes forever to input names. Overall, would go her

Food was good. Atmosphere is great. They have bowling, laser tag (type thing), a great bar, decent food, and games for everyone.

Wow! There's so much to do here! Great fun and food! Clean restrooms! Large Televisions to game the game on! Urban bowling alley with and nice array of lights! Two bar areas! An a game area that we have you playing all night! Not to mention laser tag! Sadly there's only one pool table, but you get a reasonable amount of time to play... This place has a wonderful layout and great for all ages!

I visited Roll House Entertainment in Solon tonight with my family, and we had an amazing time! Our server, Alex, was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Unfortunately, there were some very rude and nasty customers sitting near us. Despite their behavior, the management handled the situation with incredible patience and professionalism. I felt so bad for the managers because those customers were unnecessarily mean, but the staff kept their composur

This place has expanded so much since we were last here which is shamefully many, many years ago. They have so many more activities for you now outside of bowling. Service was great! Food was good. We had a great time.

Arcade is good. Not so expensive. You can win a big ball almost every time as i guess they let u win as a promo. Bowling is acceptable. Staff nice.

It was a nice family outing. Very clean and friendly. They had plenty of games for children and adults to enjoy. There were a lot of lanes so house a nice amount of people. What shocked me and my children was the Robot that was a server. I will be there again.

Always a wonderful experience at Rollhouse Solon! Had a dinner party/Gender Reveal in their confrence room! Bella boat was so cool and even brought out our food! Mind you the food was amazing! Staff was very attentive. Huge shout out to our server Alex. Along with Payton/Bella and the entire rollhouse staff in general for making our day so special. Game room/Laser tag was a blast! Didn't get to bowl but we will just come back for that! Highly recommend having your birthday parties/events here! Will be back

Very expensive and very loud. A family of 6 costs $161 just to get in the door and bowl. There are no areas without loud music and flashing lights. If you have someone in your party who has sensory sensitivities (autism or epilepsy). The facilities are well maintained and clean, but I want to play a sport, not feeling like I'm in Los Vegas. I'm happy for the gluten free pizza but few other GF options.

My wife and I stopped in while waiting for our escape room to be ready and were very surprised by RollHouse. We expected just a bowling alley but it offers so much more,a very solid arcade with almost all machines working as well as a brewpub with pool tables and darts(did not try food but beer selection was good). Nice lanes and helpful staff. It was crazy busy for the time we went, so make a reservation if you want a lane quickly on a weekend. We plan to bring some friends and make a night out there soon

My wife and I decided to have a bowling party for our daughter?s birthday. We will NEVER be doing that again. So many things went wrong, for the price we paid I feel more should be included in the package. They told us when we needed to bowl cause the clock started at the time we booked the party for. We never got an option if we wanted to bowl first or eat first. They told us when to eat, when to sing happy birthday we were rushed to do everything and we could barely enjoy what we paid for, all because the

Was just treating the absolute worst way. Came to the stand to get the lane, 4 girls were chatting together, not paying any attention to the customers in line. I came to the table, one girl, who saw i came close, turned her head away and was standing with her side towards me. I asked her name, she ignored and was continuing standing with her profile ignoring me. Then i asked another girl next to her, to get the lane, and asked for the name of that first girl. Got an answer Lexi, then i asked for the manager

Eh. Ordered a warm cookie with ice cream. Dish came out melted and the center of the cookie was cut out, leaving me with just the edges. Ghetto. Couldn't even eat it because its was that hot. My guest count even enjoy their food as it was way too hot for enjoyment

I want to start by saying this establishment is ran HORRIBLY and they're extremely RACIST they're not welcoming to black people at all and they ALL need training on customer service 0/10 WILL NEVER BE BACK the only good thing there was their drink our whole experience was upsetting LEXI, BELLA & HAYDEN (THE MANAGER I think that was her name) if that's even their real names all need to be fired or properly trained on how to give good customer service I work in hospitality as a manager and was so upset at the

Visited this place over the holiday weekend and had a terrible experience, management was TERRIBLE 2 girls named Izabella and Maddie had the nastiest attitudes. I watched 2 separate groups be discriminated against even to the point the police were called because of how nasty a worker was treating them and they ended up being kicked out for something they were not the cause of. I would never recommend going to this place just based off of how you will be treated. Spend your money somewhere that EVERYONE will

Bella was a very nice host for my daughter party she was very pleasant to the kids and there needs the whole was very friendly and passionate I would really recommend

Worst place I ever been to this place is terrible apon arriving waiter late , lane doesn't work no one cared to show us how it works mind you (black ) family and another family lane was broken as well so the only 2 black groups of people have their lane malfunctioning ( odd ) but I continued to ask for help while my time continues to go down paid $59 for 2 hrs and stayed 15 min . I should of known from the walk in my kind wasn't welcome . Im not sure what happen to this place we came here a few yrs ago and

@cleveland_kicknit on Instagram I went on a Tuesday so it wasn't crowded & we got our lane and shoes with no issues. The staff was nice and friendly. We didn't get any food but we did get drinks. I will definitely be back again.

Gel-blaster The worst! Took my son for his bday and 5 friends, played two games which they tell you runs every 15mins for each game, no! 2 games ONLY 8 mins TOTAL!! My son and his friends were so disappointed. Very very frustrating. Drove 30 mins and wasted $120 in 8 mins. Horrible! They told me 8:30p (as I was purchasing this it was 8:30pm on the dot) for first game and 8:45 for the second game. The kids entered the arena to play at 8:40p and came out by 8:48p. Ridiculous! Kids were very disappointed, and

Update 6/28/21: This visit was totally different than my last one. It was a very nice atmosphere and the music was tasteful. The servers at the individual lanes was a great add! We really enjoyed ourselves! Original Post: The place is nice and clean. Staff was friendly and the equipment is new. We would have had a nice time if I could have heard what my kids were saying. We went on a Sunday afternoon, everyone I saw was part of a family with kids. The music was so loud I felt like I was at a club. There we

One of my top choices to gather the kids for a good time. There is a variety of games and interactive areas for all ages. The manager Jamie, was very accommodating for a pop up birthday outing for my granddaughter and her four friends. All of yge staff was enthusiastic and helpful.

Payton was the best server we have ever had! The best experience we have ever had at a bowling alley! Thank you for the great service. We love rollhouse!

Nice place. Only had one server on New Years Eve. Yikes! Not that crowded though. Staff was very friendly. Ordered pizza. Came out on a robot. Tasted eh...

This was my 1st time at this location. I was very impressed by the entertainment that they had to were inside. This is a child friendly experience. I think they're geared towards family time period I have also been to their panic Room located in the same parking lot. Both structures were very clean on the inside and the staff was very nice. I had a pizza and it was very good.

Worst service ever! I grew up in Solon, came home for a visit with friends and ordered drinks at the bar. We all ordered Manhattans, received our drinks and was never approached again. We were at the bar for over an hour and no one checked on us, we all wanted another drinks and food. It's almost like we didn't exist ??.....they were NOT busy!

To secure a lane if you have 6 people, you only have 2 hours to bowl for 2 games per 6 people groups. Otherwise, food was good, the environment was very nice and party like, and the prices were reasonable.

Our Christmas party was held at Rollhouse. There was a little of something for everyone: bowling, pool, arcade games. The food was average. I didn't buy any, but I was told that the mixed drinks were good but pricey.

Don't ever Eva Eva Eva come here !! ( blks) they make you feel like it's 1805 , give you a broke lane not help you at the front desk , why do 5 girls need to help one person when other customers are waiting to be seen. 2/28/25 booked a lane online to get there name was completely wrong Ryan Is the name they gave my lane , lane didn't have all pins afaked several times for help waiter was late to our table . This is just not the place to be if you are BLK !

We had a great time during cosmic bowling. The lines can get long and move slowly, so make sure you show up at least 20 minutes or so before bowling reservations if you want to start on time. There is a lot to do, and the atmosphere feels safe and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience.

I was here with some co-workers on a recent work trip. It's an interesting place, a great mix of arcade, sports bar, bar and grill, and bowling alley. It can be a little noisy, but seems like it would be a fun place to hang out with a group of friends and have food and drinks. The food is pretty much what you'd expect, lots of burgers, fries and the like. They did have some vegetarian options, and the full bar that you could get whatever you wanted to drink. Definitely an interesting stop.

Aaliyah was amazing!!!! She helped us on gel blaster with the greatest attitude and she has amazing conflict resolutions skills.

Lexi and Tierra were very accommodating and made sure that my family and I?s experience was amazing. Thank you!

Good food, balls got stuck. Counter person in game area could not be more disengaged from her job. Not adult friendly.

Walked in at 6pm on a Wednesday to get some dinner. The host, a guy, walked past us 4 times while we stood in the entry to the restaurant area next to the "wait to be seated" sign. After about 4 minutes we decided to just sit at the bar, where we were again completely ignored. He watched us walk in, sit down, wait, and then subsequently leave. I'd love to be able to review the food, but we couldn't even get past the nonexistent service. I understand this is a casual dining establishment, so my expectations

Pretty nice make over. Lots of seating areas. We paid 20.00 and had almost two hours of bowling with shoe rental. The pizza was your average bar type pizza. Food a little over priced. Just nice to have more options for families to do.

The RollHouse Solon is your ultimate Family Entertainment Destination! Pick up your family and gather your friends then come pull up a chair, grab a lane and slip on a laser tag vest for a day of laughs and good times! Especially summer kids free bowling is the place for your kids and your family to go every day! Drinks are Cold. Food Is Hot. Fun is ON!

Staff is always accommodating. Plenty of options for kids to have great time. Excellent food too.

Very fun place to hang out and have a social gathering? A decent selection of bourbons and beers, plenty of TVs for entertainment, and I'm told there's bowling

Caught a deal on Groupon. Drinks were good. Lasertag was fun. Video games slightly pricey, but cool to have as an option and was included on Groupon. #tiatriedit

Energetic Young team made our two little ones feel so special. Shout out to Maddy and everyone else. Game room is so fun and fantastic and bowling with my little kids was a blast. Wide variety of Kid prizes, quite a few I enjoy myself! Well done Rollhouse Solon

Holy Cow, I didn't know bowling could cost so much money!!! The food was great tasting. I liked how clean everything was.

Bad experience. Was attempting to bring a group of 10 for a night of bowling and i got bad attitudes. I was told i had to pay for 7 people just to reserve 2 lanes. The attendant also clarified it would be no refunds and i told her i didn't even ask for a refund if people didn't show up. Its really disgusting when people are dismissive to you and disrespectful not listening not looking at it from a customer perspective. Don't tell a prospective customer what you can't do, tell them what you can do. I will re

What a great time for the whole family. Katie K was the best! Will definitely be going back!!

I don't leave reviews, ever. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Horrible inept staff, broken lanes, and stupid expensive. Waste of a night. Don't waste your money.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Rollhouse Bowling Alley in Solon. My group and I, all over 21 years old, were refused service because we didn't have in-state IDs. This policy is unreasonable, especially since we provided valid, government-issued IDs proving our age. To make matters worse, the staff was rude and dismissive. While trying to order a non-alcoholic beverage, I was ignored and met with a dismissive ?What do you want?? and an attitude when I approached the bar. This level of disr

This is NOT the bowling ally of Al Bundy, far from it. In fact, calling this just a bowling alley does not pay it justice. This place not only has state-of-the-art bowling facilities but Giant game room, and a laser tag area if that's your thing. They have a full bar and menu with servers who bring your drinks and food right to your seat. It's note worthy to mention that this is not "greasy bowling alley food", everything we ordered was exceptional and restaurant quality. The entire facility was clean and

I've been to this bar multiple times, always great service from one bartender who always takes great care of me! However, this evening I attended with my partner and a friend and had a horrible experience. We arrived to the bar at 10:28, 32 minutes before close and was told the bar was closed. This was ok I am a bar director myself and completely understand. The problem occurred when the other bartenders proceeded to give other guest at the bar drink after drink, and even pouring shots. But we were told w

Love coming to rollhouse after work! So many beers to offer and Katie is the best ??

Love the place! Great atmosphere to bring friends and co-workers!

I haven't laughed so hard in years and my grandson said it was the best day of his life.

Unfortunately it's well known in the area that they are not managed well. They are very unfriendly to the local high school teams and it's quite difficult to plan a party there. I bowl at Roseland because it's a lot less expensive and a friendlier place to be.

Great place for family. Bowl, game room, private group room. Fantastic food per picture. Capt. John

Brought my brand new ball to Rollhouse lanes ONCE and their lanes destroyed my ball. The manager on duty, Parris, stated they would fix my ball to the best of their ability and it should take about a week. 7 wks later, after calling and calling, they finally returned my ball in the condition you see in the pictures. To state I'm upset is an understatement!! This is unacceptable!! On another note, while waiting for them to return my ball, they wouldn't allow us to have two lanes for 7 people when there were

Wow this is no ordinary bowling alley welcome to the new family fun center something for everyone laser tag laser maze a pub cosmic bowling entertainment zone for the kids an exceptional high quality very tasteful food come on by and waste the night away with style at the Roll house

Me & a group of friends came out around 9 things were fine until we met our waitress Christen she was very standoff ish rude never came back to check our table didn't accommodate us properly just made the experience there uncomfortable & a very horrible time I came out to enjoy and spend time with my very close friend that is a paraplegic I just don't understand why she would sit there and have their Security Police officer B .Lender stand behind our lane and watch us our entire 2hours there we came

The most unprofessional establishment I've ever been too booked for a certain amount of lanes only got one. The Host talks to paying customers nasty and charging for items not wasn't apart of the group I will never recommend this location to anyone.

It's a decent place. It's a bit expensive though. I believe it was $50 for two people to bowl for an hour on a Saturday afternoon. Probably should have looked for a deal somewhere. There was some sort of problem with our lane when we started. They had to go down the lane and do something in the back. Thankfully our time didn't start until after they fixed it. The staff was friendly. I'd go here again if there was a special going on. I could see the parking lot getting crowded if they were busy, but thankful

Love this place! Kara and Katie are the best bartenders & so funny ??

Went bowling with my husband and two kids. There was a party in the the lane over who took all of the table all the chairs and were hanging out in our lane. Ten people and a few kids. Ok no problem. It then Took a server 35 minutes to come and I asked three times. We just wanted drinks. They kept telling me to go sit back down and wait. Finally we order. There is no where to eat or put our food. That many people should have two lanes. Then they cleaned our food up before we were done eating. We had eight m

The food was just okay but I had a great time bowling!!

You get 1 hour of bowling for $30 which is fun. I went to get drinks and the bartender made 1 of 2 drinks then took someone else'sorder and made their drink check them out before my second drink was made. ?? That took about 15 min of my bowling hour! I told the front counter girl and she apologized for him and gave me 4 free bowling game cards so it worked out I guess.

This place is a pretty good place to take a family and have a decent amount of stuff to do! Only thing I would suggest is if you have people buying tickets and you have entertainment other then arcade games make the non-bowling items all under the same currency for the convenience of the customer! Overall a fun time!

Not overly impressed. Seems very expensive for bowling. I certainly don't object to a daycamp being at a bowling alley but, I assume they know when they're coming and need to be staffed better. I tried to approach the bar three times to order drinks and food and was 100% ignored. Pretty sure we pick someplace different next time.

I really enjoyed the Tinsel Tavern. It was so cute. The food was good as well. We had the holiday signature drinks. The Grinch shot was tasty. Our bartender Lesa was awesome! Great service all around.

We made a reservation; however, there was an issue with the pins in the lane. They would not reset time for us even though we hadn't even bowled. Make sure you order food or go to the bathroom before since you pay for time and not rounds. Service was mediocre. The staff spent more time talking amongst themselves than caring for customers. For the price you pay, it is not worth it. The food menu was also changed since our last visit and was not as good.

Friendly accommodating staff, amazing food, definitely worth the price for a great experience

Went out for a super-fun night at Rollhouse. Staff gave us our bowling shoes. Best bowling experience ever. Had so many loads of fun. Scored some big strikes, knocked down some very good pins. Like the super-professional attitude of this staff. Had some very good vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. By the time the 2 bowling games were finished, we all returned our bowling shoes. In a word, this place gets five stars, without a doubt.

I used to come here a lot when it was freeway lanes and I must say I liked it much better then. I traveled all the way from Cleveland just to come to this location. The service industry night was my favorite. I didn't think the service or food was very good , especially for the price that I paid. I didn't like the fact that a robot delivered the food and it was not correct . My family did not enjoy the food . I certainly think they could do better. The menu options could be better. The loaded nachos were ve

Cool overall. Had some issues with some of the machines (one of the games didnt work and issues with bowling scoreboard)

the cook was very nice , I ordered something but changed my mind the waiter christen said it was to late to change it literally 3 seconds later , but when they brought out the food the cook changed it in 5 seconds! I liked that did bring out a ramp for me to get for me to get down the blowing area , but as I wasn't done ordering I explained I had Apple Pay and to I could pay up front , she proceeded to say okay don't forget to pay I say I won't THEN said I'll remind you ?? I said laughed it off by saying

First time here I want be back if you visit I do not recommend you sitting at the bar cause Kara W is very rude it's must of been a bad day or the tips wasn't flow I felt like it could of been a racist issue also I didn't know that my food wasn't going to come with everything on it I was paying for i asked for a substitute and it the distributor fault that's what I was told I'm scared they gave me back my order for free and definitely didn't make it fresh I read lips. It's was like we wasn't there after I m

Always have a great time here, kid friendly, family oriented. Wonderful atmosphere, and the selections are great!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
