Great place. I've had unnecessary conflict with other guests yelling and swearing at me, but that only happened once and the staff confronted the people and they left shortly after. Other than that I've always felt safe there. They have a lot of fun stuff for kids of all ages.
Hadn't been skating for 12 years and always loved going skating since I was a kid thru my adult years. I moved here 3 years ago from another state. I'm glad to have found a rink! This rinks floor is beautiful! People are friendly. Really enjoyed adult skate and coffee in the morning. I am looking forward to going very often and have decided to get back into lessons here also, just to brush up on things since it's been a while. Plus, it's great exercise too! Very happy ??
Work for a summer program and we take children every summer. Today we went for the first time since last year and WOW! They have made several improvements. There are new benches, new graphics around the rink and the rink has been refinished. New paint job throughout. The kids had a good time playing laser tag, using the bounce house and skating. Have fond memories of skating as a child and am glad people are still skating today. I encourage you to take your family and enjoy a great time!
This place is so fun. It has a huge arcade area, prizes, bounce house/playgroud, snack bar and more!!! I love the floors, they are so smooth to skate on and nicely polished. The workers are great there, and very fun to be around. The skates to rent are amazing, and very fun. You can get skates or blades. You can also rent the whole place to your self, where you skate, have a money machine, play, eat, and more fun to enjoy!!! There are a lot of fast skaters, and you can also rent littles carts for your kidd
SLOW SERVICE. Took over 35 minutes to get in the door and get skates. It was a fund raiser for Swartz Creek Schools, we will barely get 1/2 the time, and I had to pay to get in and I am not even skating. I hate when businesses do not properly staff and do not put in streamline procedures to get people through lines. They just do not care obviously.
I had a private birthday party and it was excellent! The team working was great. We had fresh pizza and drinks available the whole time. The DJ took all our requests and filled in with other songs he knew we would like. Everyone had a great time! Thanks for making my birthday so special!
This is a little gem. So much fun. Very retro. They could invest in skate/rollerblade upgrade. Bring your own skates. Staff is very kind and friendly. People are nice. We stick to the early skate on Saturday 12 noon. If you skate Sunday at 2- earlier the better if your kids are smaller. It a good time. Great exercise.
Haven't been here in over a decade, my kids enjoyed skating and playing some arcade games! Paying $11.00 per skater, $5.00 for skates per child , $5.00 for the assistance carts for the kids to help them skate the rink plus $5.00 per spectator added up fast. All the money they're making you think they'd at least have a sink that works or paper towel to dry hands! Bounce house needs separate wrists band. You did get a choice of a free drink or card with 10 game credits. Each game ranged from 2pts game credit
The atmosphere was nice and family friendly. They do have adult only times starting at 9:30. This was my first time ever trying to roller skate, and I think people were respectful of that.
Celebrated my daughter's birthday party here recently & the price was a little high. They definitely try working with you the best they can. Definitely recommend
Girl Scout overnight skate party was a huge success. Friendly staff and positive experience. Staff cares about their community and enriching the lives of young ladies.
Visited for a birthday party. Entering for the party was a bit difficult. Had to keep reassuring that a parent was just there to observe and not skate in order not to pay. Seemed a little odd to have to explain. Staff didn't give the necessary wristband needed for the party. We later had to get that minor issue fixed. I appreciate the staff getting everything in order. Unfortunately not all the staff was friendly. Plan on visiting at a later date to see if going without a birthday party is different.
Overall this place is fun but expensive, keep reading for more details. I had a birthday party for my daughter here, we do something different every year, and she said this was the most fun she's had. Pro's. Kids had a blast. Each child seemed to really enjoy themselves. 3 hours for a party is a good amount of time. Plenty of time to accomplish everything. Staff was very friendly. They were nice, smiling, and good with kids. Con's. Very expensive, initially paid $210, ended up paying an extra $100 the
This place was nice clean and a throw back to a generation once when indoor skating was all that! That's all I can say about the good, this place bleeds you dry, if you were like I and expected a free skate admission and to pay for the skate rental for your kids guess again. It's 10 dollars if your skating or not, if you kid is not a good skater and needs help from this triangle PVC thing it will cost you again. A two free skate pass that was provided by the schools turned into 30 and that wasn't even an
Took my daughter and all my kids for her birthday and it was a blast. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be going back soon!
Great place for the kiddo's and whole family to enjoy skating and playing the arcade games in a safe and fun filled environment! Great music, several food options, and unlimited fun for all!
A fun family time. A classic rink with arcade games a small play structure for small kids, and rollerskating. The staff did a great job of multitasking. A very busy day on my visit.
We had a good time! on the outside it definitely shows its age. But on the inside you can tell that they've done their best to try to keep things up especially around the rink keeping things smooth and working. Some of the arcade machines did not work and we lost more than a few quarters. But as far as skating is a great price! Will be happy to return again soon! :-)
They have a fun and entertaining time. The only thing is that when it comes to entering they are very slow to sell the tickets and if you rent skates be prepared because from 25 to 35 minutes making a line for them to be delivered to you.
Had such a fun time skating tonight at Rollhaven! My friend and I rented skates to try and then switched them out for blades. I have been wanting to buy my own so I wanted to see how I liked both ways of skating. The music was perfect and the atmosphere was fun! Will definitely be back to skate again!!????
Really fun, priced well, and lots of arcade games for kids to play if not skating. We rented skates, ($4) and admission was $10 pp. I bought tickets online before hand but you still have to wait in line with everyone else buying tickets there so I'm not sure what the benefit is to pre pay?
I had so much fun!!!! Came with my family for my birthday. Hadn't skated in years! It was my 5 year Olds first time skating. It was awesome to see. This will be my go to place for fun and exercise
My daughter loves coming here and the remodel inside helped make the place look less worn out.
I took the boys here just for laser tag, and they had fun. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I'm glad we went!
Overpriced! Skating used to be a thing that kids could do real cheap, not anymore! The bathrooms need better attention and we waited in line for 20 minutes for drinks.
Justin and Jenna had a blast. The people who work thier are so helpful and nice. Atmosphere was positive and enjoyable!
Old school wooden skate rink with a lot of character. The staff is amazing, the food is equally as impressive, and with updated LED lighting it has the total package for any event or free time you have. If you can make it over to Roll Haven, I would definitely recommend it!
They gave us game cards with no balance on them, then accused me of using them. My daughter is disappointed but more grown up than the crappy staff here. Unprofessional.
My grand baby had the best birthday and her favorite person came and took pics with her??
A really great place to go skating?unless it's busy and you want food. On a Saturday, I took my daughter. Not only did I wait for 30 minutes for fries, I only got 17 of them. Very underwhelming as was the response from the manager. I have experienced like this every time I come during the busy time. Very disappointed, really. I expected more out of the staff at least. Updated: I can't seem to catch a break with the food service part of this business. I'm underwhelmed once again with a $5 price tag for 12-
Not a fancy place, but kids love it here. Bathroom was not clean. So much rust in the stool. Birthday coordinator does a great job of keeping parties moving. Received a wrist band and was supposed to have received a coupon for a free drink, but didn't get one
Had the best time! Fair pricing and very clean!
Wonderful birthday special. Plenty of fun for all. But I do recommend that you watch your children in the playscape.
Love the workers they are the friendliest, they do everything to have a good time.
So fun, there is skating, a huge jungle gym, an arcade and the food was delicious.
Great Time for adults Monday and Thursday 10a.m.- 12p.m $5 covers entry and rental.
What a Great business bringing families together! The Rollhaven team checks ALL the boxes!
Outing with my grandkids. Enjoying watching the skating.
Rollhaven is a kid friendly, fun place, for all ages. Great for birthday parties, It has an arcade, Lazer tag AND a bounce house.
Went to my granddaughters birthday party and it was fun
We had a great time here. Nice rink!
Great skate floor nice and smooth and quiet FUN place
Just had our daughters birthday party there and it was so much fun! Alina was the sweetest party host. Everything was promptly on time. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. We already can't wait to go back.
My son and I had an amazing time skating.
My girls and I have been coming here at least weekly for the last few months. I grew up skating here and I love that we can all do it together now. We've brought friends up, had parties here, and both my kids even own their own skates now. Kiara is a fantastic ? what ? floor manager? Queen of Tuesdays? Whatever she is. She's great.
Awesome place for kids!! Not much around to do for kids/teens or even families. For decades this place has been dedicated to welcoming supervised and unsupervised kids/teens/adults. Don't complain about what you child did here if you had no care to stay with them. These people are not you baby sitter, they are operating an excellent business! Also lot's of people complaining that there's a charge just to get in, do you know how crazy packed this place would be if there wasn't? $30 was too expensive for a fa
They play games they are so kid friendly. They have awesome drinks including frazil, soda. Their cotton candy is great. They have arcade games.
They did a great job while Grand Blanc schools were out for Christmas break. I don't know if it was all grades. But I know it was the middle school. And it wasn't a one time thing. They were punch cards . Good on like 8 days . Great Job giving kids something to do.
Had my daughters 13th birthday party here. Everything was amazing. They really made her day special.
Great place had grandson birthday party there very family oriented lots of memories skating
What a blast from the past! I spent many a Saturday afternoon there as a kid. BUT . . Went to see the local Roller Derby gals play. What a hoot. We have a friend who's significant other is a star team member. 2 B Frank is her handle. She's a tough little nut!
Took kids here for a school event yesterday and I have not been here in atleast 20 years so was curious what it was like inside. I will say hi ugh aged, they did a decent job maintaining the place and the kids had a ton of fun. Prices were very reasonable and there was plenty of variety for when my kids lose there attention (thanks YouTube). They can skate, play in the climbing structure, and they have some ticket style games set up. We ate food there and it was not great but wasn't bad either. My only comp
The staff is incredible! My son has DIFFERENT needs. We know the world will not treat u like we're "special". They did. First time that I can remember, a public venuse OFFERED to turn the music down a little. A nice environment for families.
What a fantastic place for kids and adults alike. Lively and entertaining. The play structure, which they call the bounce house, doesn't really have any bouncing to it- is a blast for the kids who are short enough to participate AKA toddlers. We came here for a birthday party so I'm not sure of the cost however I did over here that they do charge parents even just to watch but that their admission of $5 got them a fountain drink? The same person I overheard spent $20 to get her son and her inside the door w
My son and I enjoyed ourselves. I remember coming and skating when I was a kid at RollerHaven. I haven't been here in a long time, but I definitely will be coming back. I like how they mix the music for everyone, so it worked out very well. I'll be coming back with my daughter and grandson, bringing the whole family to have some fun.
Super awesome staff, I went to the unlimited pizza event thing they recently had. The line for pizza was long but they were pumping them out as fast as they could and it was really good pizza. It was greasy but in a good way. A little trouble getting my nieces sneaker vac when we were returning our skates but it was just a little mixed up no problem !
Went for the first time for a school event and was definitely impressed. We did have one person who kept giving the wrong shoe size to someone in our party, that's why only 4 stars as well as some construction that was going on at the rink as well. Food is good there too. They also have laser tag and a bounce house that the kids enjoyed. All around good family time. The tu
The customer service here is AMAZING!!! Kiara was the best in the world. Her energy and love for this company was #1.
Having held and been to several birthday parties here I can say it's an excellent place for a kids birthday party! The staff is great and attentive and the kids have a blast!
We had a birthday here. Our host was great, the food was pretty good, and everyone said they had a blast. We definitely would come back.
We attended a Glow party here. The vests for the laser tag hardly worked and the worker was very rude when we brought it to his attention. The games didn't give tickets when when it claimed you won them. The bathrooms were horrible and the pizza was soggy. The only brightside was the characters that were rented for the party even though they weren't part of the party long so it was hard to get pics with them. It seemed like we were being rushed through every aspect of the night and didn't have time to j
It has laser tag. Play house. Skate rental & rollerblade is 5$. Bathroom is horrible. I've already uploaded pics of that. It's no skate room or room for a lot of people in the building at all except on the slate floor. It's maybe enough seating for 80 ppl that's on a bench tho. Half the tables to sit at is only for parties on. The building feels like it's ready to crumble at any moment. All the money & can't even upgrade the building. Need a true building inspection il say.
The skating is good and has a okay-ish pricing. HOWEVER, the food is absolutely awful and overpriced. The chicken nuggets are extremely dry instantly making me gag, they are completely inedible, the fries are floppy and sad, the cheese sticks are at least edible. The only expectation is the pizza. The lazer tag is also very much unfair. The rules are said at the beginning, but are not enforced. Both sides have two gun reloads but on one of the sides, there is only one recharge that works. Once I brought it up
The kids had a blast! Adults not so much! We're broke. Adults shouldn't have to pay, we're there to keep our kids in line. So we paid admission then paid for skates, totally no reason to pay for the PVC thing. And the food was pricey. The cards with points, gone with 6 uses. We wont go back and the line to get skates and return skates, 30 minutes each. So we lost an hour of our time we paid too much for.
The place is awesome! Great staff and prices. Hoverboard night they allow you to bring any kind of scooters, hoverboards, etc. Lots of fun! Kids love the bounce house area too. Update: we have had two birthday parties here and we have always had great experiences. Staff is great and they always have been. Still the same great prices. That says a lot with inflation hitting everything hard these days. Very happy they haven't changed a thing. Highly recommend this place!
Sad to see how they charge senior citizens $ 5.00 to get in the door to observe there grandchild having a Birthday party. It's not like I came to skate I just came to watch my grandchild skate but still had to pay.
NYE party was great the DJ was awesome Happy New Year
This is such a fun place. Anyone can skate here. They have a large rink, pinball machines and serve food. It's been around for over 50 years. Everyone loves coming here.
We hosted a private birthday party at Rollhaven and it was a great experience, highly recommend! The staff were super nice and helpful, and the pizza was good. Not only did just the kids have a great time, but the adults as well.
I've always loved this place growing up but my latest experience packed the metallic nostalgic feeling. It needs an overhaul. The skates are ruined down and lack both adequate stoppers on the skates and cushioned padding. There were literally no soles in the skates and I was forced to skate on the metal bottoms of the skate. The floorboards were so uneven that it felt as if I was skating down a road made of loose stones. The food was over priced and flavorless, everything was bland and substandard.
I ?LOVE? Rollhaven it is such a fun place. There is Skating, Laser Tag, a Bounce house. Games, and they have really good pizza and drinks! I have been there so many times and I have only had good experiences. There place is also pretty clean. They do games while your skating and they give out prizes. It is a very family friendly place and the prices are not to bad. If you child struggles with skating they have little walkers that help them skate. I DEFINITELY recommend going!!
We went for a STEM field trip and we're very impressed! The lesson was good, the staff was amazing, and the skating was a blast!
Kids always have a great time.
It's a very nice fun place, very friendly staff. My family and I went here a few times now and never had any bad experiences here. We can't wait to go again ????
Was going to have a good time with my friend when we went to go get are roller skates the lady took both of my friends shoes to get him skates and she only took 1 of my shoes so I asked her take the other she said go get a locker it's not that hard. I went to the locker and it said I needed 25 cents to get one.. I already had my skates on and I did not have 25 cents on me so I went back up to the corner and I said nicely I'm sorry I don't have 25 cents to get a locker she said Jesus Christ give me your shoe
VERY GREEDY OWNERS! Very upset with this $10 spectator fee! While restrictions were in place I completely understood the need for the fee. Now that they are lifted you decided to keep the fee! Really? Having to pay to make sure my kids are safe is ridiculous! I will not be purchasing pizza and things thanks to this ridiculous fee! My kids also don't go as often as well. Let's not talk about the disgusting bathroom!
It's a great place to skate, but it's obvious nothing has been updated or upkept for quite a while. There's an observer fee to keep an eye on kids, but it comes with a drink or credits for the games (take the drink because most of the games are not in working order). Overall, it could be so much better with a little love put into the place, but it holds up for a last-minute activity
My daughter had a birthday party there for my grandson?s 10th birthday. I used to skate when I was young so I decided to rent a pair of skates and give it a whirl . The rink is very nice. The Pizza and pop were great, they even made a ?no cheese? one, which grandpa likes. The guy who worked the floor was Josh, I fell a few times, and he was Johnny on the spot. I will be sore tomorrow, but it was worth it.
Okay. Now the norms are under control. The main place is clean to a crisp, the food and drinks are good. Any questions can be answered by any employee. Just one thing... CLEAN UP THE BATHROOMS. Man I could roast the bathroom right now but, I'm gonna let it slide. Other than that. Cool place recommended for ages 8+
We went back for the first time since we moved away when my husband joined the military. My husband and daughter love to skate and while we were there we decided to buy skates for them both as early Christmas gifts (the rental skates are very old and not very well maintained). Our daughter got her in-line skates that day because they had them in stock. My husband?s had to be ordered. We placed the order on that Sunday after Thanksgiving 2022. They gave us a gift card for the purchase price because of the ?d
The reviews were horrible. I thought it looked and smelled fine. I didn't visit the bathroom but the pizza was fine as was the cleanliness. Maybe they have issues in large groups we were at a private party.
Had a great time with the kids, but security is a little ridiculous. One of the guards obviously has some anger problems and takes it out on the kids. Otherwise it's good clean family fun at an affordable price.
The experience with the manager was terrible. I waited 30 minutes to buy two sets of wheels while he a-ke-ke with men from a previous session and had been paged over the radio several times from several employees. For someone that is a regular customer, and spent well over $200, I would think he'd be more attentive.
Good place for kids. The food is outrageous priced. Went to laser tag with boyfriend on date night, my suit/gun continued to malfunction, not many people to play with. But then again we are adults, kids probably love the place.
This experience in the laser tag wasn't enjoyable. Lots of fighting amongst kids using bad language!?? Never leave your kids here if you can't trust their behavior. And more about that experience with food being thrown in the dining area ?? ish kids I might say.
I haven't been skating since I was a kid. Rollhaven with my daughter was just as much fun as I remembered going as a kid.
Took my niece and nephew....they had a blast. Wasn't enthusiastic to pay a spectator fee, but I understand. Thanks for the free beverage. But the sprite tasted awful.
Great experience for kids
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
