Rockhouse On The River

Located right on Hendersons riverfront, Rockhouse Pizza. Patio seating is the best, Daisy tagged along with me, which means pet friendly patio. Very friendly service and delicious food. I ordered the regular ?world famous? stromboli, with a side of fries, a side of cheese sauce, and a side of pepperoncini?s. Everything was so good. I will definitely be back. Cant wait to try other items on the menu. Also, locally owned and operated! ??

Always a great experience! Can't beat some of their prices too!! I've had their cheeseburger a bunch of times, always good, fries are great, so are the onion rings! Stromboli is definitely worth the money! Today I had a pizza for the first time, and it was great too!!

The staff gave the best service I have ever had. My cup was never empty. The food came out fast and delicious.

Three of us ordered 3 different items, and all were excellent. None of the staff seemed like they wanted to be there, not friendly at all. The temperature inside the building was barely tolerable, fans running in various places. This possibly contributed to the mediocre service. Would go back again for the food.

We got the heart shaped pizza to add a fun touch to our Valentine's day. It was delicious, fun, and served with a smile!

First time visiting from New Harmony, Indiana. Sat at a booth overlooking the splash park and river. Beautiful view! The sun was in our face so I did draw the shade partway down. Service was very good. Prompt and attentive. Appetizers were pretty basic. But the pizza and the all meat stroms were very very good!!

David and Christy have put pretty much their adult life into this business. Both are outstanding adults and portray the atmosphere that everyone likes. Food is great and service second to none.

Firstly, let me start this off by saying the staff was extremely friendly and really made the experience great! My waitress was incredibly kind and when I let her know I was in from out of town she sat down for a minute and wrote out some great places around town for me to try. As for the food, the stromboli was delicious and was reason enough to return. The pizza was tasty as well, so you can't really go wrong. Overall, I'd say this was a great place and I'd definitely come back!

Visit started out a little rough because we stood while a waitress came up to the hostess station and walked away. Then someone else seated us, but we sat unassisted for 10+ minutes. The food tatsed amazing, but gave my wife and myself food poisoning. All day yesterday was miserable for us both. The sickness went away after one day and only people that ate the pizza were sick. It was also the only thing we had eaten that day. I am not sure what happened, but we were extremely ill.

I have waited to write this, because we always go to the one in Robards. The times that we have gone downtown to the one on the river and ordered the Stromboli it seemed like they just weren't getting it right. Sometimes the dough was way too thick on the ends. We arrived around 11:15AM and had selected the Rockhouse for it's convenient location across from the river park. We were seated quickly and our drinks brought out. First trip and won't be the last. They have an excellent staff from the host (he was funny and joked with us through our visit) to the wait staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I'm shocked this place has a 4.6 rating! My experience goes from bad to worse. The pepper shaker on the table had some kind of funk on it (not clean). My wife ask for a glass for her beer, the chilled glass revealed finger prints inside AND lip prints around the rim! (I wonder what mine looked like before the beer was poured in). I've never eaten inside but I really like their food. I usually do pick up, and the food is always hot. Their pizza isn't bad for the price at all. I had a mess up on an order once, and they fixed the issue. The manager was very nice about it and I was pleased. It's definitely a great place to eat, and I highly recommend it.

We loved this place. Took a walk on the river and ended up here on a Sunday - in a booth looking over the river and barges going by. We ordered the sampler appetizer plate and a vegetarian pizza. I used to order from them years ago when I lived in Henderson. For many years I have sang their praises and remarked on just how good their Stromboli in particular is. We were recently in the area and FINALLY after 16 years of telling my wife how memorable their Stromboli is she got to try it for herself. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Food is just as magnificent as I remembered it. Reasonably priced, entirely delicious and large portions!

Idk why but I prefer the Rockhouse near Robards Ky it is the one with the best tasting pizza

It was really nice just sitting at the river listening to music we didn't go in but sat on bench together and it was great, crowd was nice and Calm, it was wonderful music. Would definitely go back again.

Great location! Was nice to sit outside and look out on the river. Staff was great and friendly. Food was amazing! The buffalo chicken stromboli was delicious! The portion was huge and filling. Worth the stop!

I really enjoy this place! I've been here a few times and their prices are good, drinks are good, wings are AMAZING. They have other food options too that are good. It's a great location with beautiful views. The staff has always been nice and helpful and they have a lot of seating.

Very neat place with river view. Our Strombolis were taking a little longer than usual so our waitress brought us an order of cheese stuffed bread with nacho cheese while we waited. Strombolis were worth the wait! We probably could have shared one they were so large. We didn't have children with us, but noticed that the waitress brought pizza dough to two children seated nearby. They had a great time kneading it while they waited for their food. Would highly recommend this place!

Very nice, bright riverside restaurant and bar with a decent selection of pizza and pub food items. Our server was pleasant and professional, providing drink refills frequently. Good, interesting hot wings and fresh tasting ingredients for salads. Italian selections may be a tad over spiced but definitely full of flavor. Very reasonable prices and plenty of parking.

Great service and even better food. We had the Strombolis, and some seasoned wings to start. Everything was delicious. We were there for an early supper, but this place looks like a great hangout spot. TVs everywhere with sports on all....it looked like they take reservations in case you have a group coming for the game of the day. All in all, looks like a fun place to eat, with great food and service.

We ordered a medium All Meat pizza. The server brought us a Supreme. We made her aware of the mistake and she immediately put the correct pizza order in. A bit later, she came back to check on us and to apologize again. I told her it was no big deal, and I joked that the other pizza looked so good that I wished I could have tried a slice. When our All Meat pizza came out, she also brought out the Supreme in a box for us to take home for free. Both were delicious! Plus, the outdoor patio was so nice.

I personally thought the pizza tastes like a frozen pizza. We also had wings, they were gummy, could have been cooked longer. The server didn't check on us much, and once we paid, she never came back.

This was my first visit, but definitely not my last! Our group ordered strombolis and pizza. Everything was delicious! We happened to be there at sunset so the view was just beautiful. Our waitress was quick and courteous. We were thanked by several smiling staff members on our way out. So glad to find a place that has good food, service & prices!

Menu was unoriginal and food was meh. Stromboli was pretty big but just standard, nothing outstanding, reminded me of a bland papa johns. The view of the sunset over the water was the main reason we chose this place to eat.

So this is kind of a regular spot for average pizza. The thin crust is not an una style and not a floppy New York crust. The cheese is always kinda thick and the toppings are good quality. Nothing is just ecstatic with the pizza but that doesn't mean it is bad! It is always good pizza just not that FIRE pizza I gotta have!

It was a great experience eating here and ask about the history of the place as well. I think that the buffet is worth it $8 for amazing quality pizza and unlimited stromboli. You can't best that for the price. So so good. Must try if your traveling through and want a good amount of food that is tasty as well.

Rockhouse on the River was great. Our waitress was very quick and attentive to our party. The food was delicious. My husband ordered hot boneless wings and was in love with them. I ordered the mild boneless wings and had to send them back. Upon receiving the basket of wings, I noticed that the wings smelled like hot sauce or Tabasco sauce. Our waitress informed us that the cooks put Frank's RedHot sauce on the wings. I am unable to eat anything hot, so she asked if I would like to substitute them.

Easy to get to and down by the river if you aren't familiar with Henderson. The stromboli was delicious and quite large. Strangely enough, the bread for the strom was my favorite part of it. Just the right amount of toasted, garlic goodness. The staff was very kind and accommodating to us while we had our 3 month old. Restaurants that have kind and friendly employees while customers have their infants with them makes it so much more comfortable for new parents!

The food is great, if you can get it delivered all at once. We've had half a dozen bad deliveries, but the food is awesome! You just have to go retrieve half of it, after paying for delivery.

Only had the lunch buffet. Pizza was very good and so was the Stromboli. They keep bringing out fresh food. I noticed that they keep basting the Stromboli with garlic butter. Very good and so was the dessert pizza. At 6.99 very reasonable. Will definitely go back.

The view can't be beat, especially at sunset! Deluxe pizza was excellent (another example of the "Una" style thin crust that's popular in this area). Regular stromboli was super tasty. We had a wedding shower at Rockhouse Pizza on the riverfront and they made our experience great! Mackenzie & Josh did an awesome job for our group of 30. The food, atmosphere and service was wonderful and they were all so kind. The view of the river is gorgeous. They accommadated us in every way. You guys ROCK!! Thank you so much! My fianc? and I would come in every Friday evening for the past 2 years for the best Stromboli I have ever had! Sadly he passed away suddenly the beginning of December and I had to move out of state. The staff there are very caring and attentive. They always remembered our order and when they found out of his passing were supportive and emotional. I want to thank you all for your kindness. We truly loved going there and I miss it terribly!

We were looking for an easy spot to eat on the way back home that was fairly close to the interstate. Found this spot on Google and plan to make it a regular stop when we travel through henderson. Large portions, healthier options, tasty food and excellent service. When I say excellent, I mean it. We tipped 40% because she earned it. A nice home town feel where you can see the river and watch the children frolic in the Waterpark.

Beautiful place and beautiful view. Service is great. I ordered a reg. stromboli which is more like a deluxe pizza rolled into a sandwich and baked. It was good, I was thinking more of a traditional stromboli but that's ok. Fried pickles great. Jalapeno potato spuds remind me of store bought, still fine. Pizza looked great but I didn't have any. I may go back but it won't be my fist choice.

We had a wonderful time at Rockhouse on the River after Church. The kids loved the breadsticks with queso and marinara sauce and my wife and I had fried mushrooms with creamy horseradish sauce. The pizza was incredible! We had a pepperoni, a deluxe, and an all meat. All were fantastic. The service was excellent and there was very little wait. We will be back!

This place rocks. (no pun intended) .. lol I get the Chicken Bacon Ranch Stromboli. The bread is nice and crispy on the outside, while warm and soft on the inside. Just awesome flavor guys, for real. You gotta check it out.

Very good food, on a simple menu. I am sure we will be back since we boat from the launches across the street. My only suggestion would be to chop the tomatoes for the salads, instead of giving slices, since there we no knives.

Got multiple items. Everything was tasteless. Only halfway decent thing was Stromboli. Read many good things but was completely unimpressed.

I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was very dry and didn't have any flavor. My husband had a stromboli and he said it wasn't very good. Frozen onion rings weren't crispy and tasted frozen. Our first time there and probably our last.
