High Score on Centipede!!! Play all day and all night with wrist bands for $15!!! Great for a rainy day or a break from bike riding. Awesome selection of retro games and pinball machines. The air hockey competition was also a good time with the family.
Great way to spend an afternoon in South Haven with the family. $15 for a wrist band to play all afternoon.
This place was awesome. It's got really good prices. For $15 you get a whole day and access to what I think was 10 or maybe more pinball machines and probably over 25-30 classic arcade games, including Pac-Man's Donkey Kong, Q*Bert, motorcycle and driving games, and so much more. I'm a really big pinball fan and even help out at an arcade myself and know it can be really hard so this place being as well kept as it is make me so happy. The workers are very nice and helpful when something goes down. Just if s
Rented out the place for a few extra hours to take our kids and their friends for Spring Break. The owner is incredible and friendly, the games are very well maintained, and we were able to bring in pizzas before it opened. We would recommend for kids but the adults also talked about doing an adult day/night out. Clean bathrooms, great atmosphere! 10/10 would recommend!
What a great place! Can use quarters or get a wristband. Will definitely be back.
I needed something to do with a 13 year old boy. Rocket arcade was the perfect place the. We both really enjoyed the pinball games. There is a ton of variety in the games that are included in the day pass bracelet. If you are an 80's baby, you will find your old favorites for sure. In the coin operated section there are even fancier games. They are all 50 cents a play. We had a really good time. There was one young man working when we arrived. He was very friendly and helpful. We only spent about an hour pl
This place is fantastic! They have a ton of old classic arcade games (think missile command and asteroids), but also some 90s-2000s classics, and they're all super well-taken-care-of and work flawlessly, which can be pretty rare with old hardware at a lot of arcades. The sheer historic preservation aspect, and care, of the place would be enough for five stars, but it's also clean, modern, and reasonably priced. It's a must-stop when we're in town with our kids!
Decent arcade with a decent line up of machines. The people behind the counter really acted like they didn't want me there however, keeping completely silent and with a deadpan expression as they checked me in. I don't know if I caught them on a bad day or what but between that and the experience I got at this place, it's not encouraging me to come back here
A good place overall but all the best machines cost money that are not covered in the "free play". My own recommendation (yours may be different and possibly disagree with mine) is that you don't get the play pass and get the coins because it is only for the games in the back and they're not the best ones in the store.
Super cool place. Great atmosphere, and tons of classic games. Racing, arcade, pinball... And all on unlimited play. knowledgabe owner and helpful staff. Great way to spend an afternoon.
I went on Aug. 17th, 2024. Enjoyed my time in there. Very clean, family oriented atmosphere. The young man who did customer service SUPER friendly. We talked about the game "Gauntlet Legends" which I was playing and was about to do the final level that had 3 parts to it. I was able to finish several games from beginning to end. It was worth the 1 hour 15 minutes to travel. They have a mixture which I'm sure you'll find games to play. The coolest thing I didn't know was that you can bring your own food and
Great arcade. I grew up in the 70s and 80s so this place was like a flashback to my childhood. The best deal is the $15 play all day wristbands. There are also several games that take quarters too. It's open from 11am to 11pm so plenty of playtime.
This was a great arcade I'm going there next year and bringing my dad and Alyssa along with my mother and my father figure
This was a great place to meet up with my family (ages 9 to 65). Temperature was not too hot or too cold inside. Bathrooms were amazingly clean and very well kept! Nice seating area with moveable tables and armless chairs to sit and take a break. The general noise of the place weren't so loud that we couldn't carry a conversation. I'm terrible at video games, but the car racing ones were fun, and pinball is awesome! Plenty of movable stools around so you could sit at the pinball table or game, which was a
I am a local and I know the arcade has been around for a few years but I never got a chance to come in . I finally came in yesterday with my brother and had the best Saturday I've had in a long time . There are so many classic games from the 80?s and 90?s. My brother and I were stoked to play Samurai Showdown 2 and Fatal Fury 2 on the SNK machine. I also hadn't played ridge racer 2 or house of the dead in over 20 years , and was excited to get to play them again. I loved the relaxed environment , and how w
We vacation in South Haven each year and Rocket is a must. Kids love the selection of arcade games and pinball machines and the all day family pass is a fair deal. The variety of games is decent too, with classics like Mortal Combat and Pac-Man to Simpsons, Die Hard and Fast N Furious.
Great selection of arcade games from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and a few from the 00s. They also have a whole row of pinball machines. My sons loved it! Will definitely return!
Always a great time and the kids kill it for atleast 2 hours nonstop! Clean, friendly and safe place for the family any day, anytime!
We really enjoyed it. We spent 4 hrs there. Time flew by fast. The price was great, for how much time we were there. If you want to have fun, give them a try. We will be going back again. Got the summer wrist bands, what a deal that has been. It was good all summer for as many times that we wanted to go. It was packed today (8-6-24). If you get a chance come and join the fun.
Great arcade! Love the selection of games, and the wristband is an awesome value! The unlimited play is really nice and there are some games that are quarters only so you can stop in and play even for a short time. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is very clean. What a great way to spend some time together as a family!
This place is great, my kids had a great time and it kept them busy for 5 hours before only getting hungry before leaving. We will be coming back. I always hated the amount of play I got when I was younger for my quarter or fifty cents (yeah I wasn't very good at video games). The flat rate fee to play unlimited is amazing, well worth the value and I hope this place stays around and they rotate the machines if possible.
Wow! Let me just start off by saying that. My girlfriend and I went on a rainy day and could've spent the whole day there! It's a great price especially when you can play multiple games. Such a fun atmosphere with a snack bar and did I mention unlimited plays?! Unique games and retro favorites, make this place feel like home. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
I finally got to visit Rocket Arcade July 17. I just browsed through it and made mental notes on the games I want to be playing a lot of. Seems very family friendly and I noticed that they serve some type of food that's cooked or at least heated up by the looks of things.
Its a great place for kids! The $15 for unlimited play on most games was a great price! I thought the kids would be ready to go after an hour, but 2 and a half hours later they still didn't want to leave. Very clean environment and friendly staff!
Awesome value for your money. A fifteen dollar day pass grants you access to a fantastic selection of classic arcade and pinball machines. Everything is very clean and in working order. Ralph, the owner, is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I talked with him for about an hour about arcade history, our favorite games, and how he organizes his setup. You can tell he has a passion for keeping the classic arcade feel alive. He told me he wants Rocket Arcade to be a living museum to preserve that feeling fo
My son and I spent a few hours enjoying the retro games and reliving the old arcade days of my youth. We both had a great time.
This arcade is amazing! A ton of classic arcade games and pinball machines. We attended a birthday party there today and it was a blast for the kids and the parents. Prices for free play bands were very reasonably priced.
This place is awesome! Definitely worth a visit! Great for getting a little break from the sun and fun of the beach or for a rain day! This arcade brought back memories from my mall arcade days of my childhood. Appointment only now so call before. All the machines cleaned after visitors leave. Kids had a blast too!
It was incredible, $15 for almost every arcade game in the building is awesome, there is a wide and great selection of games, (old and new) the entire place in super clean, and I think I only saw 1 or 2 cabinets that were shut down. My brother and I lost track of time and were there for I think 3 hours. He's not a huge fan of retro games, but Galaxian hooked him. There's a ton of pinball machines which were surprisingly fun, (probably because we got to play them over and over again) The old cabinets looke
My wife and I had a great time last night at Rocket Arcade. She enjoyed the pinball machines and I got to play some of my favorite old arcades. Great co-op experience with the racing and shooting games. I haven't played Zaxxon and Asteroids in years. Worth a stop when you're in town.
They have a good selection of old retro games from the 80s and before. The kids born in the 2000s won't appreciate it the way those of us who were around when they came out will. If you like pinball games and old classics like Ms Pacman and Donkey Kong, fighting games like Street Fighter and Mortal Combat or racing Games you sit in to play you'll love it there. They have a different kind of pay to play then I have seen before. You pay $12 up front and get a bracelet and you can play as much as you want all
Excellent selection of classic video games and pinball machines. Super friendly staff. This is a great value for the $, and the games appeal to kids and nostalgic adults alike. All games are in excellent working order and condition. Facility is clean and spacious.
Loved it quite a lot, wish I could have spent more time. The games are well taken care of for their age. A few were out of service but that's to be expected. Would have liked if they would have had some plain soda water or something but that's no big deal.
The arcade was a lot of fun. The cover charge to just play a bunch of games was amazing. My wife and I had a blast. I wish there were places like this near home.
Kids loved this place, spent almost a day. Owner always keeps the place clean. A good selection of games at reasonable prices.
Great place with even better business plan. Cover charge fee for hourly all you can play so you don't waste time with coins or tickets. Classic games and pinball. My kids loved it.
We came here twice during our trip to South Haven. Had an opportunity to meet the owner. Great guy, great place. Fun. I like the "pay for unlimited play" model.
So fun! Great place for kids of all ages.
Our first arcade experience with our children, and it was a clean, fantastic, and nostalgic time together! The price/value was just right, and I appreciated the tables to wait and watch. This place is a WIN!
Cool retro arcade. $15 unlimited for most games was great. My 5yo had a blast. Turned a rainy day into one of his favorite days.
Loved this place! The owner was super friendly and the selection of games was great, (personal favorites being NFL Blitz, Die Hard arcade and the House of the Dead), and a whole wall of pinball!!!
Great atmosphere, lots of great arcade and pinball games to choose from. Took me back to the good old days!
Great Games!! Awesome place to spend a rainy afternoon in South Haven. They took the time to explain a game to my 9 year old son. Awesome experience.
This place is awesome! Missing Moon Patrol, fast Mrs PAC Man, Pole Position, Wizard of War. Ammo g place!! As a 50 year old brought back a lot of memories!
Very fun! Our church youth group went here and we had a blast! Great place to visit if you are in the South Haven area and need something to do.
I love how kid friendly this place is. We go here all the time for birthday parties and the kids have a lot of fun. We also go there for fun on the weekends sometimes.
Had a blast with my wife! Brought back great memories and wish our kids had been with us, but also glad we got to experience the Arcade!
Fun time with the family. Great prices and games from before my time.
Excellent assortment of games. Reasonably priced. Well run. Fun.
Great place to bring family and friends! Play old favorite nostalgics like Pac Man! And Pin ball, and many other arcade machines!
Awesome arcade with cabinets from the 80s and 90s. All you can play for $15/ person or $50/ family(4). Pinball!!!
Super fun! My friends and I went a few nights ago, nice staff
Very clean and well maintained place to play some games! We had a great time. I recommend to come here!
I loved the retro arcade feeling they have going on. Plus the prices are very reasonable
Super clean, super fun & no complaining for 3-4 hours with 4 kids under 10 :)
Awesome place!!! Classic arcade! The family loved it!
Rocket Arcade has fun nostalgic arcade games that are 20 to 50 years old.
Awesome place for the day or a party 15 per person unlimited play wow!
My grandsons and I had an awesome time! We will be back again and again.
Awesome, old school arcade games like pac-man, and mortal kombat.
My wife and I had a blast here! Awesome place
This place is amazing for family?s like ours if ur looking for family fun u found it
Love it. Like stepping back into the 80s. Best games ever.
Fun place, many games to chose from. I'd like to have hand sanitizer available.
I was impressed with the amount of games available to play and friendly employees!
Place was a ton of fun. Can't wait to go back
Great way to spend some time with the family on a snowy winter day!
i loved this arcade it was the best experience in my life
Very fun! Highly recommend.
Friendly staff, lots of old school games.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
