Customer Reviews

Went here for a date. Customer service is great, beer options are enough but let's be honest...you go here for the nostalgia and that's what you're gonna get. Highly recommend for the beer and atmosphere

This place in general is amazing, and the food - bonus win. Strongly recommend the bacon, pepperoni and honey pizza. (And the peanut butter and jelly sweet porter). And best of all ?. Not going to break the bank. Great prices.

This place is a gem. Great variety of beers and super nice staff. Many free throwback games to play and kid and dog friendly. Will be back soon for sure! Now they have pizza too!

Great location, tons of games from air hockey, to gaming consoles, pinball, and arcade games. Alot of beer and wine options. Outside space both in front and a patio area on the side. John was a fantastic bartender, super fun and top tier service, engaging and within 5 minutes, every stranger in the place ends up behind your best friend.

Really fun place! Staff made us feel right at home. We were there with our twin 10 year olds and they loved playing all the games. There was a good selection of craft beers and very reasonable prices.

Had so much fun here playing alllllll the games. Nice outdoor area too for darts and hang out. We enjoyed the extensive selection in not only beer but seltzers too!

We have brought our daughters twice now and we have loved it both times. It's great to be able to enjoy a beer and play classic video games with the whole family. The staff is so kind too. We visit St. Pete a few times a year and this has become a go to for us!

Do you like retro games from the 80?s and 90?s? Do you like a chill atmosphere and amazing beer? Then Right Around The Corner is the bar/brewery for you!!! I have been here several times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. I'm here tonight with my wife and my service dog, and everyone is extremely friendly. The beer they brew on site, and the local beer from the area is all delicious. I can't get enough of the games from my childhood, and the chill atmosphere of the bar.

Badass gaming bar. Good people and a ton of games. Pinball, Nintendo 64, Nintendo switch, air hockey, skeeball, etc. Craft beer. Good times

Fun idea, but maybe not the best timing. I've been to a few places in the area with similar concepts. The game selection was a bit more limited, parking was difficult and it was pretty cramped. Service was good, but ultimately we didn't spend long here before moving along.

RATC is a great brewery! I've been here roughly 12 times. My favorite thing is to sit at the bar and chat with the brewtenders as they have great stories, but playing free games is fun too. There's lots of nostalgia posters and other paraphernalia on the walls, which makes me feel like I'm growing up back in the 80s/90s again. They don't brew as much of their own beer, but that's okay as they have a unique selection. I always chuckle seeing a macro lager on draft, but it's cool they offer it. The Gatorade f

We had a blast last night at this bar, met the owner, super friendly very down to earth, THE PIZZA IS GREAT!

Loved meeting everyone there. We enjoyed playing all the different games and beverage choices!

RATC is a great place to hang out and enjoy an evening! The bartender was very friendly and attentive. Tuesday nights have Jackbox playing on their screen at the bar, which is super fun with friends and strangers alike. They have a fair amount of classic pay arcade machines, game consoles, darts, air hockey, etc. A small selection of food is available, and there is beer on tap and others in the drink fridges. It's a barcade to remember!

John and the staff over at RACA bar are awesome! They even have free hotdog Sundays! Go get a brew and all the fixings on your next Sunday funday. Lots of great games here as well.

Super cool retro arcade complete with food and drinks! There was a live dj when I went. Console games were free, and the cabinet games were all reasonable priced!

I found this place by accident, walking by looking for a place to drink something.. and it's awesome to spend the afternoon with some friends playing retro games. The service was great, even with other suggestions around the city. Only inconvenience is that they don't have food, nothing.

Were not from St Pete, but wanted to find someplace where we could play some games and relax with the kids (9 and 11). A quick search brought up this place, so we headed out after pizza down the street. They welcomed us and the kids, and even gave us a few quarters to get us started. No smoking and a great easy atmosphere, even a few dogs to give us a welcome lick. Arcade classics, pool, darts, skee ball...great selection. Easily entertained the kids for 90 minutes. Itll be a stop on our yearly visit to St

Perfect neighborhood tavern with a modern twist. Great beers, some brewed in-house plus local and national favorites. Come ready to have fun. This is an arcade bar. Old time video games plus pool and jenga will keep the good times rolling. Dog friendly so there's no excuse to leave the pups locked up at home!

My boyfriend hasn't really hung out in Saint Pete much and we hit a couple bars. When we walked into right around the corner he was so excited! I've been to this bar many times and I always have a good time it's relaxed, comfortable, nerdy in a good way. There's some board games available, tons of video games and skeeball (which makes this Jersey girl very happy). The staff are always so nice. Plus this lady brought her tiny puppy in, my cider is in the picture for scale. Eek!

Stopped in after a trip to the Fairgrounds art installation, and what a fun little bar. We got there early in the evening, still a few locals in playing video games. The ambiance is fun and colorful, they have a few arcade style games and pinballs machine. Our waitress Julie was very nice, offering samples for us to find the beers we wanted. Definitely worth stopping in to try one of their many in-house brewed beers.

A fun little grungy barcade. I hadn't played Mario Kart in years and was instantly transformed into my teenage self yelling at the screen and s*** talking, only this time with beer. And they had free hot dogs!

This place is awesome! Pool table, foosball, emulators for Sega and super Nintendo. Tons of arcade games and always good beer on tap. I did however wait a while to get another beer while, who I think was the owner, talk it up with someone for a few minutes.

The best video game bar you could find. Free games. Paid games. Pinball. Buck Hunter. Pool. SkeeBall. They have it all. Including amazing beer brewed by them and a few beers by their friends.

Great beers and games for all ages! Want to be a kid again? Or come with your kids. Fun for everyone. Sour beers and ciders were amazing! Tom has a great concept!

Just when I thought this spot couldn't get any better, they added PIZZA! Steamy, melty, crispy, mouth-watering, authentic stone oven pizza. RATC has really nailed the 90s Millennial wish list, creating an environment that sends you right back to when you were 15 at your friend's parent's house, gaming all night, devouring pizza, and guzzling soda like a bunch of gremlins (but now your soda is alcohol because you're an adult and can do what you want).

This place is fantastic! We came here on a Sunday the service was great! We had Vlad he was very knowledgeable and attentive. Love their Harry Hood Stout! See pic. The place had fun games for our kids while we enjoyed drinks. We will be back again and again!

Absolutely amazing arcade bar! One of my favorites. Lots of old school game options.

Great nostalgic arcade and bar. Beer choices are varied and good choices. The place has Ac, an outdoor patio, and lots and lots of games from pinball to streetfighter and mario kart. Great place to spend time

Always a solid spot no matter the occasion. Amazing local and self brewed selection, great service with Chris behind the bar. Their video game selection hits all the old school feels and will keep you more than entertained. Been coming here since opening day, quality all around, consistently.

Right Around the Corner was an amazing brewery, and we had an amazing experience with Julie. I'd definitely recommend this place.

This place is super fun! Tons of games, great beers on tap and the staff is awesome! Pro tip: You should challenge the owner Johnny to a game of Big Buck Hunter - he will pay for it and if you win you'll get a beer. You probably won't win but will have a fun time and meet a cool dude! I'll challenge you again!

Right Around the Corner is always a good time! TVs everywhere, great draft list, and video games from my childhood. Cannot go wrong here.

Great selection of beers, nostalgic games, and Chris the bartender was super fun and helpful. I love that even the flight paddles are themed. A must stop while you are in St. Pete.

This is my favorite bar/brewery in St Pete. Classic video games and great beer. They're super dog friendly too! Always a very relaxed vibe in this bar, definitely worth checking out!

Great place classic arcade games, trivia and friendly neighborhood place. Would reccomend stopping in for a Hot Dog or Grilled Sammich.

The pizza Is fantastic, beers are great, many n/an options available, fun games, great service!

Awesome beer. Awesome games. Awesome people. Seriously the best beertenders in St Pete! RATC has something for everyone -- great selection of their own beers, guest taps, and canned beer and seltzer. Their Smartphone trivia is the best trivia in St. Pete! You need to check this place out!

They have old school Pac Man, a few pinball machines, but also free Nintendo 64!!!! Was able to play Super Smash. Just a cute, nostalgic environment that will put any video game lover in a good mood! The games are pretty cheap, most of the o were 25nes I played cents/ 50 cents. What fun!

Went here the other night and had a blast. Great beer, a seriously deep selection of classic console games (SNES NES N64) and the bartender Chris was super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Awesome Saturday spent here! We came down to visit Haslam's and see what was going on with tattoo palooza, and stopped into this cute joint. I lived in the burg for nearly two years and never had even ventured down here. I am so so happy we wandered in on a hot day. My fiance is from Germany and had grandpa Jack's... I had the hard cider and yummy yummy! Highly recommended stopping in for some video games, drinks, and laughs.

Johnny is the best host of all time out here in St Pete owning the most dope bar around!!!

Alyssa at the bar? The shiz. Environment free and lively. Came at a slow time so had ample time and space to rock out. Some games are coin based but Nintendo games.

Loved this brewery/arcade, lots of beers to choose from, friendly bartender, and lots of games to play. Not crowded at 6 pm on a Saturday (no food here, but tons of places around if you so get hungry). Come here for good beer and fun games!

Video games galore! Most of your favorite old-school consoles hooked up and ready to play, with arcade cabinets, air-hockey, skee-ball, and more. The only food is pizza, and they serve beer and wine for drinks.

My boyfriend and I came here to have some drinks and play games on a hot day. That's exactly what we did! It's a hidden gem on central. John the bartender was very friendly and attentive. Made the experience that much better. We will be back!

Small brewery tap room with guest beers, arcade games to keep you busy, sidewalk tables, accessible to the bar, few steps to arcade room.

girlie threatened to take my id from me bc i have an out of state id and ?it says you were born in 2003? yeah girl learn to read and do the math ?? time for the annual id training i think. at least tell me happy belated birthday next time ?? nice variety of free games and seltzers though!!!! wish i got to have one ?? gay bars will always listen to you though ?? the issue is not because she turned me away by the way, she did her job. the issue is her being rude and making it seem like she is talking down to

Does not get cooler than this. Play all the hits including guitar hero with your loved one or a friend while knockin' a few back. So rad!

Greatest arcade spot in the Burg, coolest bartender you'll ever get to know. 10/10 would recommend

What a place. Great Selection and music. Can't go wrong with a Viva Seltzer there either!

Fun laid back bar with friendly staff and customers. Made an out of towner feel right at home. Bartender John gave great recommendations on where to visit to get an authentic downtown St Pete experience and the spots did not disappoint. Will be back next time I'm in St Pete for sure!

This is one of our favorite places in St. Pete! Huge selection of old school/nostalgic video games to play all around the bar, great beer selection, and friendly fun staff!

Super fun and friendly joint!! Totally brought us back down memory lane reliving childhood memories - Nintendo, VHS, 80's and 90's ephemera abound. So glad we stopped in on our way through town.

they have so many different games and the drinks taste great!! really nice place to hang out with friends

Great bar! Lots of games to play, lots of beers to choose from. Friendly staff. Laid back and chill. Great way to escape the heat.

Great vibe here. Staff doesn't trip over themselves to accommodate you. She will look you directly in the eye and not acknowledge you, but she will eventually get around to serving you if you stick around long enough. Maybe she's trying to determine if you're worthy or not, lol. Great little collection of microbrews and the video games are a nice addition, while definitely a draw and focus to the place it's not over-done. Cool 80's flavor to the whole place. Seriously, if you don't mind poor service, I say

Awesome place, great beers and games! We will be back! Free hotdogs on Monday!

John and Johnny were great hosts. The vibe is awesome. We were able to have a few beers and let my son play video games. Great place, great convo, just amazing!

Love this place. Nostalgia and fun. Great beer selection

You can't beat the undeniable service here! The owners are along for the ride& SL are they! Best guys ever! Interested in our tastes & everyone's ...SOOOO GOOD!!!??????????

It's too bad they don't brew their own beer anymore. Not the same place I've loved for the last 4 or 5 years. RIP Tiff's Melons. Love all the free retro consoles around, donated many NES and Sega carts to them over the years. They also have steel tip darts and it's free too.

Amazing place. But don't take my opinion. Just go visit.

A great arcade bar - massive selection of games, always changing draft selection, and some surprises in the cooler. You totally need to check it out! And the people working behind the bar are quick with recommendations and keeping your beer glass full!

Get a draft and a fireball shot. Had me at hello. Great games. Nostalgia for us 90s kids. Appreciate the hospitality. Good people. Good booze.

The beer selection was impressive, but the service was not. Bartender could not have been more annoyed by our presence and how much it interrupted her talking to her boyfriend.

Kattey & Mandi are fabulous!!! Amazing!!!

Me and my buddy were the first people in the bar and the wonderful bartender Sara set us up to enjoy a lax afternoon of highnoons and awesome free games. It hits the nostalgic environment and the service is just as good! Shout out to Sara for cooking up a most perfect glizzy and making it an all around welcoming environment! Will 10/10 be back.

This was a super cool bar with some free games, others you had to pay for. The bartender was super chill. I really liked their selection on NA beers. More bars should have this type of NA selection. I would for sure check this place out for some retro arcade games.

I absolutely love this place. The bartenders are amazing, they have a large selection of beer, canned or tap, and a plethora of games to play with your friends or strangers with similar gaming interests. Their personally owned veers are super delicious. I personally love the "Sticky Yeast Head" beer.

They have a great selection of adult beverages and arcade games. I found sours paired well with Mario kart not so much with mortal kombat. Mortal Kombat may be best paired with iPa, but I must go back and test this hypothesis. The staff was great. Dog friendly. People friendly. Unfortunately I was stuffed to the max but the hot ?? looked ??, no dinky oscar meyer. If you just want to catch a game their bar area is cozy. Fun time!

The atmosphere was fun! Nothing I'd rather do than spend a few hours with some buzzed nerds. I came for the Jackbox TV and stayed to chat with the bartenders, owner, and the colorful patrons. Everything was well put together, I'm still mad at my inability to beat my friend at Golden-Eye on the N64, but what can a fellow do.

Sarah is absolutely amazing - Amanda was hella nice n funny both welcoming and the bar is Dope- great beer , great consoles , great vibes. I personally love the south park pinball machine n the brown ale . Hoping to come back asap to hangout with these amazing people. Treat yourself to a good time n some nostalgia - also darts in the back ;)

One of a kind bar due to the variety of games they have. It's a fun place to be because the games for the most part are free and they have uncommon games you just don't have access to anymore (old gaming systems). They do a good job of having assorted FL beers and they have a decent canned beer selection. When they are crowded, they have an outdoor seating area upstairs that sometimes can be missed. Customer service can be better. I wished I felt more welcomed the first 2 times my husband and I entered this

What a vibe!! Best beer in town and has pretty much every arcade game you can think of!

Cool bar with a ton of games. If you don't like to just sit and drink, and enjoy a game or two, this is your place. Crowd was friendly and welcoming as well. Dogs are allowed!

Awesome little bar with great game options and a nice selection of drinks. If you like retro video games, or games at all, definitely check this place out! Great place to go with friends.

Great place, great owner, great staff, great games, and great customers. Overall, great!

Love the games; the Christmas Stout was amazing. Its always a blast coming here. Always welcoming and super friendly!

This place has a really great selection of local craft brews. The bar area itself is small but comfortable. Where I think there could be improvements in in the video game consoles, which during our visit had broken controllers. The 2 pinball machines are awesome! The overall use of space is a bit cramped, but its a good place overall.

Come get it in some guitar hero at this awesome barcade. My boy D will smash you on the guitar, u don't stand a chance

Chill Local Craft Beer Arcade Bar With Great Atmosphere! This is one of my favorite stops in St. Pete! It offers a wide variety of craft beers from many of my favorite local breweries; and I'm so excited that they are now creating their own delicious brews. The owners are stellar guys who are very active in creating positive growth in their community, with great tastes in both beer and the best collection of nostalgic games in town. It's the perfect place to chill on a weekend, with a laid back atmosphere

"Visited this arcade bar and was immediately impressed by their extensive collection of free arcade games and vintage consoles like the N64. The local beer selection is top-notch and complements the nostalgic atmosphere perfectly. Friendly staff round out the experience, making it a must-visit spot for anyone looking to do something more than just hang out at the bar

Awesome local brewery! Interesting flavors, dog friendly, retro video games, what more could you ask for? Well, I'll tell you! Johnny, Tiffany ,Tommy, and the rest of the staff there are some of the best people you could ever hope to meet! Anyone that ever experiences anything different feel free to post as a reply to this review so I'll see it. I find it hard to believe that anyone could visit and not absolutely love the place!

I love the posters but there's quite a few duplicates. There's at least 4 Contra posters. 4 Super Mario 64 posters, 2 of which are in landscape format, 2 in portrait. Same goes for Goldeneye. There's 3 Super Mario Bros posters, 3 Super Mario Bros 2 posters but only 1 Super Mario Bros 3 poster! Other than that, everything is great.

This is my favorite bar. The beer is inexpensive, they offer free games to play on classic platforms, its clean, there is darts and a few arcade games, as well as some pin ball machines. Service is always pleasant and they are smack dab in Central. Perfect meet up or just a chill hangout bar.

Hear me out - pineapple beer plus fireball = a Pine Ball! Just one of the many concoctions that makes this place a fun hangout. Fun games, nice people and local beers. Family friendly so it's going to be added to our rotation for sure.

They had great beer and Super Mario 3. I was in heaven. Bartender is super nice and really cute, too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
