Customer Reviews

Me and my dad both had balls drilled and are impressed with the results. The gentleman that help us was extremely helpful nice and very knowledgeable about everything to get us what we wanted. Would highly recommend him and we will be going back for anything we may need in the future

Our favorite in town! Me and my son come and play 3 to 4 games, get a delicious cheese pizza and a couple drinks almost weekly. When we have a mom and son day, this is where you can find us. Love the environment.

Very small place, but everyone seems very friendly. I was visiting my son, & he wanted me to watch him bowl in a tournament. He said that he prefers this place over the other one in St Joseph.

We had a family bowling day with a fairly large group of kids. The workers were very kind about working with the kids. The party room was a good spot for the adults to talk while the kids bolted, and the pizza was good as well.

Everyone there was really nice and answered our questions. I thank them very much

Great food, great service, friendly works. Had a great time.

Had such a fun date with my beau at Revolutions! Affordable, welcoming atmosphere & just the right date to end the week!

This place is great! Friendly and attentive staff with a fun and easy going environment. Also got a ball from here and they don't just sell you anything, It was truly tailored to me and I felt comfortable even though I'm not too experienced. Thank you :)

Very fun time bowling for a women's evening out. Nice, clean center. Very up-to-date electronic scoring features. Plenty of seating and tables available for groups of all sizes. Friendly staff. On site snack bar and mini restaurant. Food was good, hot/cold as applicable and decent selection available. Personal lockers are available near bowling area. There appeared to be an outdoor smoking area. I'm not a smoker, so I am just guessing on that. We had reservations for our group, but there were plenty of lane

Was amazing. Have not been bowling for a few years. Nice to see how well the new owners have done. Staff amazing and very helpful with everyone.

Great friendly staff! Loved the experience. Wanted to try their handmade pizza, but had already eaten. Will definitely try next time.

Nice, clean bowling alley! Great prices & friendly, helpful staff!

Clean and fun. Cost-effective family fun. Staff is always awesome and friendly. Try the pizza... you won't regret it

Fun and entertaining place to bowl. Great atmosphere great food. I recommend a tenderloin and fries. Friendly people.

Absolutely a great place to bowl. The manager is always friendly. It is nice to hear him tells us thanks guys as we are leaving. It appears clean and the pro shop adds to the appeal. We've had 2 balls drilled there now and both balls seems to fit well. Definitely be back.

Fantastic place to bowl AND thee best tenderloin sandwich in St. Joseph!!!

Great place, good deals with educational and friendly staff

We live in southend stjoe and wanted to check out the newly remodeled bowling alley close to home. The place is great. We didn't try the pizza because we didn't know their snack bar was so big! So we ate before but very nice center and staff. All kids ages friendly.

He had an okay experience at the Southside Family Fun Center. We went for my nephew's birthday party and the bowling was fun the kids really like that the pizzas were good. The only problems that we had was that the room was small and they overbooked my sister's room so there were some issues there overall an okay place to go. But I wouldn't go as often until they fixed up the place a little better.

Excellent service. We do Special Olympics bowling and all staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We like there chicken strips especially:)

Had grandsons birthday party here, very reasonably priced. These people are excellent with kids. Great fun and the place was so clean. Definitely will be back.

The pro shop is very helpful

For the serious bowlers, this is the place to bowl! They put out a great shot and the pin carry is awesome. I've only been there once so far but I shot 769 (234, 256, 279) and picked up my first 7-10 split ever! This is speculation, since I have only heard this, but it seems that this place is more league oriented than the other game in town. Highly recommend Revolutions Lanes!

A group of friends & 1 (between 5-6 people) have came down twice this month to bowl. Both times we have arrived between 7:30-8:30, which we figured was plenty of time considering they don't close until 10. The first time, we were told we only had time for 1 game because the leagues were ending soon. The second time we returned, we were told we couldn't bowl. Upon speaking to the manager, she said we could play one game as long as we were actually playing & not standing around & talking. The leagues ended &

Cheaper then other places. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean.

Come here for a Phys Ed class at MWSU the parking lot could use some improvements but the ally itself looks great, the staff is friendly, and the food isn't half bad!

Idk. That Ryan guy in the pro shop seems kind of shady. ?? Just kidding. He does awesome work for me amd helps me out when I have questions about my terrible bowling. Great place and great staff. I would recommend to everyone. 15 thumbs up. Had to borrow a few thumbs for this review. ??

Great atmosphere! Great pizza! I love this place!

Had a gender reveal, and baby shower there staff was amazing. For sure would recommend and the room to rent was only $50

The owners would not let the Special Olympics teams have lunch in the facility when our teams had already paid for their lunches. We were overcharged for drinks and snacks. Parking was extremely difficult, and the accommodations were difficult for people with disabilities with the amount of people in the building.

We were there for a state bowling tournament. One of my teammates got lost getting there. The owner and staff that day went beyond their job to help her get there. Thank you thank you. Wish they had a spot for 10 stars this business would get them.

Family-friendly place to come to bowl and relax with the variety of food and drinks.

Great staff and the kids has fun. Really clean facility

Pro shop was awesome sold me a New Ball drilled and Bag shoes and all the gear I needed RYAN knows what he is selling and was very helpful. I will tell everyone to go see Ryan for any Bowling needs

Not easy to find if you aren't from the neighborhood. It is an older establishment, but it is clean.

There for the Youth State Tournament very well organized great Food lanes played Fair. All in all a good clean establishment.

Maybe the worst bowling alley ever so hot like a sauna and place is falling apart I actually can't believe the health department hasn't shut this place down

Excellent, clean, food is good and people are really nice and prices low compared with other entertainment centers!!

Kind of expensive per person but it isn't crowded and the owner is super friendly. Would totally go more often if my family wasn't $30 a game

Loved it, had a GREAT time, friendly helpful staff, an friendly atmosphere!!!

Great lanes. Great Bar to order your favorite drink. Leagues for everyone.

Good place. Always have fun when I go here.

Had the best time at a 10 year olds BIRTHDAY party people were very nice.

The place in clean, they have a bar and pool for adults in another room, and they have a games for younger kids who wouldn't be interested in bowling. Anytime, I want to go bowling in St. Joe. This is the first one to reccomend.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
