Customer Reviews

The owner Dave is a MTG player, and he seems really knowledgeable, sincere, and enthusiastic about the games. The crowd that comes in are good people, and there's weekly events. There is also a good stock of sealed product on the shelf. Probably the best vibe I've had at a game shop all around.

This is a friendly games store specializing in fighting games and trading card games. There's a growing TTRPG crowd here too. The owners are helpful and friendly and you get good vibes as soon as you step into the space. Plenty of parking and there's a smoothie place next door for when you're taking a snack break.

This place is awesome! The owners are super welcoming and engaging offering a great environment for card game enthusiasts and gamers to hangout. They offer really fun event nights throughout the week for both novice and experienced players and gamers. Check them out.

Awesome spot for MTG and fighting games! The owners are incredibly cool and the vibes at the shop are always on point. Plenty of room for card games, a whole wall of arcade fighters, TVs, and a solid selection of gear, singles, and fight stick components.

Absolutely amazing place! The owners are so wonderful and passionate and chill. They're also always willing to check if they can order in product requests!

Great atmosphere, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable owners. Weekly tcg tournaments. My friends and I are One Piece and Pokemon fans (which they carry) but they also carry D&D, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana and other games. And for those just hanging out they have free video games and places to eat just next door. Awesome place

This place is such a fun community to be in! The owner?s Bruce and Dave are pretty cool people! Bruce is so kind to get my fight stick buttons replaced by silent Sanwa?s 30mm and my joystick ball being changed into EX Gear Aluminum. Definitely check it out! Nice way to meet, chat, and have fun!

All of the best fighting games are hosted for tournaments every month. Card game community is super strong here. Love this place

Love this place! A great place to play video games (especially fighting games like Street Fighter and Tekken) There are also nights where you can play card games like Magic and a couple of nights were D&D is happening. The BJ and Dave are so awesome and create a great vibe and community for gamers.

Support your local game shop!! Great owners, great vibes, great community. Vallejo needed something like this. Pulled a manga Zoro on one piece night!!!

This place is dope! Arcade machines to play, parts for sale, and space for other types of games. Check it out and feel the vibe!

An absolutely amazing gaming store with a very dedicated staff, that employees emplore you to ask them more questions! I went here with a friend yesterday and played some Pokemon and they had both product and starter sets so we could quickly jump into a game together. Furthermore they have free arcade games there so you can battle your friends. Live outside the area so I was super jealous that this shop isn't in my home town. One of my favorite gaming stores I've ever been to. I wish them all the health

Amazing store with a great selection of sealed and singles for Pok?mon, magic, and once piece. Super kind and funny staff and great community.

I was driving through the area and had to check it out since I hadn't been there before. I met the owners who were extremely nice and we chatted for a bit. I bought a few singles and even though the prices had spiked, the owner honored the sticker price he had on the sleeve. I've got a lot of respect for that and will definitely stop by next time I'm passing through the area.

This place is tiiiight. They have quality game stations Cool staff and cool people playing csrd games. They have tcg packs singles and stuff and also other things like toys and video games. I bought a sega genisis NBA jam with the case in beautiful condition for a good price. Ill be a regular here

Dave and BJ were very friendly, enthusiastic about games, and intentional about making this new game store an inviting place!

Great place, lively commander store, amazing service

Great friendly owners. Good vibes, can't wait to go back.

A genuinely fantastic place with tons of people every day, some of the kindest people I've met in the gaming community and everyone is so willing to help you with anything and the store owners are incredibly friendly.

These guys are so welcoming. Cute little local spot where you can play games.

Warm, friendly environment, with plenty of space for gaming... and the owner, BJ, said we can start a boardgame playing night also! (May be shared with another game event).

BJ and Dave are very friendly owners. Nice environment for people to play TCGs and video games.

Staff is crazy knowledgeable and super helpful. Had a great time and can't wait to come back for some of the events I heard about.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
