I stopped in here yesterday afternoon with my family and we had an absolutely amazing time! I felt like I'd been taken back in time to the early 2000's, as the three of us explored air hockey, several driving and shooting games, a Star Wars machine, and there was even a ball toss suitable for my three year old's tiny fingers! Family-oriented, classic look and feel, and great prices. If I could give 10 stars I could! Hope this place stays around for years!
This arcade is such a fun spot! They have a great mix of classic games like Ms. Pac-Man, skee-ball, and air hockey, along with a variety of other game styles to keep things interesting. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. This place is totally worth a visit.
Brings back memories and what better way to celebrate a birthday. Retro Realm was super fun. Great prizes. The games were in great shape and I could tell the owners take pride in their establishment. Clean floors, friendly people, great prices and great parking. Can't wait to visit again soon! So happy that there is something for all ages to again in middlebury
A blast from the past! So great to have an arcade back in Middlebury. Retro Realm was super busy on my first trip to play some games. That didn't stop the staff from giving a warm welcome. The games were in great shape and I could tell the owners take pride in their establishment. Clean floors, friendly people, and great parking. Can't wait to visit again soon!
$10 for an hour. You can play fighters, shooters, beat ?em ups, racing, air hockey, ?? boxing and quite a bit more. Try it out, then get some pizza at green peppers.
We were greeted by the owner as we came through the door and they made sure we had a great experience. Definitely recommend coming here.
Cool spot we went to on a rainy day. Reasonable pricing too 30$for one hour for a family of four
Excellent family friendly place to go even if it's just you! Great Staff and amazing prices
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
