Absolute blast! We had so much fun for Father's Day! $15 for an armband to play all the games your heart desires! So many cool games, older and newer. The food we had was great, pepperoni pizza & mozzarella sticks! This place is seriously awesome, and we will be back for sure!!

Came here for a 3rd graders birthday party. I was not expecting the overwhelming nostalgia as soon as I walked in the door. As I waited in a short line, I started seeing images, artwork toys and videos of my childhood all around. To top that off, a wrist band for $15 bucks for a play all day?! $15? That is insane. If I was in a tourist area and knew this place existed, Id definitely consider $25, no more than two kids hah. First I am baffled that this exists in this area and I'm excited to see this place gr

We just had my son's 7th birthday party here and the kids had a blast. They love the games and the pizza was really good! There was also a spot where we got to sit to have the party and they had set it up already with plates and tablecloths. There was also a table for the gifts and then a couple more tables for other people to sit as well. The owners were very helpful and nice. We all had a really good time and would recommend this place to anyone. We also want to go back just us adults too here soon ?? tha

Came with a group of my family of 4 twice ! They loved it. The pizza was amazing, the sodas are in a can so i would get them after your food is ready, the wait is not long. I have been on the weekday and the weekend the bigger groups are on the weekend for sure, but its never too crowded maybe 15-20 ppl at most. The weekdays about 6-8. Great atmosphere the wall paintings with the 80's and 90's merchandise will definitely bring back some memories. $15 all night pass. Seems like it's just the owner and his

Great selection of games overall. It definitely leans more into the classic era of games, living up to its name of Retro City. Some games needed tuning, like the Terminator Salvation gun needed to be recalibrated. That's to be expected as many of these machines are decades old at this point. It was also a bit disappointing that the pinball machines required a dollar per play, even though there is flat admission fee of $15. Still, not a bad value though. The people working there were nice, too. I do plan on

Came here with my husband sister and nephew. I can tell this did not disappoint!! I finally found a place where the wings were amazing price and crispy?? the food that my family had as well was top notch! Bonus the games take me back to my childhood and to play was a fair price! I will be back over and over again. Drinks for adults I won't go back to an old school bar this right here is all I need. Thank you to the owner for such a great experience.

I not sure if the hours online are correct. We were looking forward to enjoying a date night Saturday with retro video games and drinks and food. But when we got there around 7pm they were unexpectedly closed. ?? I was confused by this because I had called earlier in the day around 3 to get information and wrist band prices and was siked about going.

This is the best kept secret in Columbia County. The pizza is authentic New York style pizza. Food was great. Service was great. Lots of arcade games. The dining area is separate from the arcade which is nice. You also have the option to eat in the arcade.

Really awesome place, lots of games, great atmosphere. Parties over four are $13 dollars instead of 15 a person. We had the Bacon chicken ranch pizza and it was delicious! 100% recommended this place!

Awesome retro arcade. A lot of games to play. I like that you pay a cover charge (if you're playing arcade games) and the games are on free play. The kids enjoy it almost as much as the adults. We've had a few options from the food offerings and all have been good with no complaints!

Had an amazing time with my wife and nephew. Food was great, classic games to play and owner was nothing short of awesome customer service. Highly recommend coming by and checking out their food options. Not just some run of the mill arcade food !

1st time visitor. The Pizza was good and the Beer was Ice Cold. This place is impressive inside with alot of retro video games to play and a mixture of cool memrobilla to look at. Also, had a great conversation with the owner, Justin, who has more additions in the works. Highly recommend you check it out, its not just for kids!

Definitely a good choice to bring friends and family, from kids 4+ I'd recommend it. Will definitely be back for a birthday coming up. Their food is good as well, $15 wristband and play all day. Very 90s vibe as well, super cool addition to Lake City, I wish I knew about it sooner.

Wanted to go in but called first to ask about the place considering I heard they close early sometimes. Guy on the phone was borderline less than enthusiastic and plain rude. He complained business was slow all month and they close early depending on "foot traffic". I tried asking about the specials. For a new place they need to learn sales pitches. I felt no welcoming vibe at all. I even said I was thinking of coming in. I got a dead silence on the phone.....wow buddy. I don't see you staying here long. I

Went in for my fianc?s birthday and it was amazing, old school games and amazing food. I highly recommend the chicken parm sandwich, it's so good! Reasonable prices and the owner is super nice! Definitely coming back more than once! Me and my fianc?s new hangout spot!

Pretty dang good pizza, and a cool little place for a birthday party for kids. The kids had a blast! I will definitely be back.

Wonderful food!!! I love the crispy buffalo wings I got!! The best I have ever had and for the adults he makes an amazing strawberry margarita the atmosphere is absolutely stunning!!!

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!! The atmosphere is phenomenal as well as the vibe of the establishment. The owners are super nice and very down to earth. I love that they were personally assisting when a machine was acting wonky , which is to be expected with any newly opening business. The drink selection and food is out of this world. The games are so well maintained as well as some of the custom upgrades which I think make this place even more of a GEM. They offer private parties too which I have already scheduled

Awesome atmosphere, the owners are perfect and food is made to order, incredibly fresh and taste amazing

This place is absolutely perfect! They've got a wide variety of games and are adding new ones frequently. It's family and kid friendly or perfect for a date night or solo trip. Their pizza is super good and everything is reasonably priced. You won't find kinder or more helpful staff. This place is a gem!

We went to celebrate my son birthday with a couple of friends .. no pizza was available on a Saturday night. Definitely not what we expected.

Absolutely a blast from the past! The owner and employee were super nice and helpful. The games were from the 80's, 90's, 00's, and some more recent. The decor was amazing! I can't express that enough. Hella far prices and the games are continuous play, freakin awesome! I highly recommend the Water world, space jam, and Batman pinball machines. My family of 3 spent $45 total to get in and play continuously. There food and drink prices were great. Atmosphere all around was safe and fun. I highly recommend an

Super cute 90s arcade! $15 free play all day. The owners are super nice. Took my two boys and nephew (16, 16 & 11) they all had a blast. We will definitely be back for trivia night and karaoke!

Very nice place to go and have fun. Both adults and children. Staff is great. Food is good

So glad there is something like this for Lake City! It's $15 per person ($13 pp if a party of 4+) and once you have your wrist band you can come and go. There is such a variety of different games there's honestly something for everyone of all ages! We didn't try the pizza but it smelt SO GOOD!

Took my teens to have family fun here and they had a blast, it's definitely 90's themed. It brought lots of memories back from my childhood. We didn't try the food this visit but they had a lot to pick from and it smelled good.

We went a lil bit late on a Sunday night when they had DJ Crazy Dave there doing karaoke; that was the highlight for us. Dave made it really fun, especially since we got there about 1.5 hours before closing. The selection of games was really good; great retro options. We will probably go again, but will wait for an announcement about more karaoke.

Just found the place and tried it out... it was excellent...the food was 1st class..I got a philly cheesesteak.. the games and atmosphere is what Lake City needs.. check it out..family friendly and yes..ice cold beer....large beer selection..

Decent place, good selection of games, but some of the games like sleeball and racing games are busted

I went for the grand opening and it was very fun alot of games as long as four prize games you pay 50 cents to play but 2 of them were not working as well as two pinball machines but overall I had a good time and the prices are good as well.

True 90's. This place is an awesome arcade experience, with great food. Thank you Retro City??

The kids had a great time! We will be back again!

They had a bunch of old school games set to free to play for the kids to run around with and they absolutely loved it. It did feel good beating my son's butt in Street Fighter.

The pizza was so good. Fresh made. Fresh ingredients. It was amazing. We had a great time. Will be back!!

Loved going here. My kids ask to come back all the time.

Amazing hangout spot in lake city! Owners were very welcoming and nice, plenty to do for a great price!

Perfect date night! Lots of awesome classic arcade games. Owners are true creatives! We'll be back soon.

Running a special but we still got charged full price.

We enjoyed it! We'll be back.

I recommend this place to everyone I know the owners are very nice and you can tell they want the absolute best experience for their customers.

Really cool fun place!

Brought back memories from when I was younger

Great place for a family night out!

Awesome Totally Awesome

If you are looking for a fun time for everyone in the family I definitely recommend this place. The games are fun and the food is amazing. Try the fried meatballs, you will not be disappointed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
